Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to describe and differentiate the cognitive learning result physics science between the implementation of cooperative learning type talking chips group with conventional learning group. This type of research is a quasi-experimental, with a intact group comparison design. Population in this research is all of VIII classes with 198 students. Meanwhile the samples are 29 students in VIII A as control class and 29 students in VIII B as experiment class. The instrument of data in this research is a score cognitive performance test which consists of 20 multiple choice items. Analysis of the data in this study was a descriptive analysis that was used to determine the performance of the physics cognitive learning through the criteria of absorption and effectiveness of learning. The inferential analysis was used to differentiate a cognitive learning considerably using independent samples t-test. The analysis data shows: the average absorption of the experiment class is 80% of the higher in category, and declared effective learning efficiently. Meanwhile the average absorption of the control class 74.83%. Therefore, it can be concluded that implementation of cooperative learning type talking chips can be used as an alternative in the learning process in the classroom VIII MTs Daarun Nahdhah Tawalib Bangkinang Kampar.Keywords: Cognitive result test, optical instruments, talking chips.

Abstract

Abstract: The learning tools developed are cooperative model-based learning tools of TPS type with Quizizz learning media on global warming materials for high school XI students, consisting of Learning Implementation Plan (RPP), Student Worksheet (LKPD), and Learning Outcome Test. The purpose of this research is to find out the validity of tps-type cooperative model-based learning devices with Quizizz learning media on global warming materials. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) with 4D model design. The research instruments used are rpp validation assessment sheets, LKPD, and Learning Results Tests used by validators to assess learning devices. The data analysis in this study uses descriptive analysis, by calculating the validity score of each learning device indicator. Based on the results of the analysis of validity data, the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) gets an average score of 3.08 (high), the Student Worksheet (LKPD) gets an average score of 3.17 (high) and the Learning Results Test gets an average score of 3.14 (high). Thus, tps-type cooperative model-based learning devices with Quizizz learning media are declared valid and feasible for use in global warming materials in grade XI SMA.Key Words: Physics Learning Device, Kooperatif Type TPS, Quizizz, Global Warming

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the cognitive learning outcomes of students using the DDFK (Definition Design Formulation Communication) learning model Problem Solving in class X Science 1 MA Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru. The benefit of this research is that teachers can be used as alternative learning models to help deliver material to be more innovative in teaching. Students are expected to be able to further enhance students' understanding and learning outcomes in physics. This type of research is a pre-experimental design research in the form of a one-shot case study. The subjects of the study were students of class X Science 1 with 32 female students at MA Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru. The research instrument used cognitive learning performance test questions about Work and Energy material. Data collection techniques in the form of providing learning outcomes tests conducted after learning. Data were analyzed descriptively by describing student cognitive learning outcomes. From the results of the study, the average student absorption is 70.75% with a good category and the effectiveness of learning with a good category. Seen from each learning meeting conducted, the highest average absorption capacity was at the first meeting, which was 84% with a good category, while the average absorption capacity was the lowest at the third meeting, which was 53% with a fairly good category.Key Words: Cognitive Learning Outcomes, DDFK Problem Solving, Work and Energy

Abstract

Abstract: The learning tools that developed in this research is science learning tools using the Problem Based Instruction (PBI) model on temperature and heat material in grade VII Junior High School. It consists of Lesson Plan, Student Worksheet, and Cognitive Evaluation Question. The purpose of this research is to produce valid physics learning tools using the Problem Based Instruction (PBI) model and suitable to improve the students cognitive ability on temperature and heat material in grade VII junior high school. This research is expected to be a reference for making innovative learning tools and can be used as a foundation in the teaching and learning process so that learning objective can be achieved. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) using ADDIE model. This research in only limited to the development stage. The research instrument that used is the Lesson Plan validation assessment sheet, Student Worksheet, and Cognitive Evaluation Question which is used by the validator to assess the learning tools. Data analysis of this study is descriptive analysis, by calculating the validation score of each indicator of the learning tools. The result shows that the science learning device using the Problem Based Instruction (PBI) model is valid, with the mean overall score of the tools is 3.41 in high category. So it is proper to use in teaching temperature and heat material in grade VII junior high school.Key words: PBI model science learning tools, temperature and heat material.

Abstract

Abstract : The purpose of this research is to develop e-module teaching materialsassisted by Kvisoft Flipbook Maker on work and energy materials for high schoolstudents in class X. The development of e-modules is carried out as a solution to thedifficulties of learning physics, as well as the lack of use of learning media in thephysics learning process. The type of research used is research and development(R&D) using the ADDIE model which consists of five stages, namely the analysis,design, development, implementation and evaluation stages. The data collectioninstrument was in the form of a validation sheet given to three validators. The dataanalysis technique is by calculating the validation assessment score using the validityindex of the Aiken's V formula. The results showed that the e-module assisted by KvisoftFlipbook Maker on work and energy materials for class X high school students that wasdeveloped met the valid criteria from the validated aspects including aspects of contentfeasibility, learning design aspects, linguistic aspects, aspects of program operationease, aspects of consistency and animation aspect with Aiken's V validity index of 0.87Key Word : E-Module, Kvisoft Flipbook Maker, Work and Energy

Abstract

Abstract: The development of Science and Technology has led the world to the 4.0 industrial revolution which requires a teacher to be able to keep up with the times. In addition, there is a lack of use of innovative and attractive learning media for students, so it is necessary to develop practical and attractive teaching materials using certain software. One of the teaching materials that can be developed is an electronic module. This study aims to develop teaching materials in the form of electronic modules using the Kvisoft FlipBook Maker application on Straight Motion material for class X SMA. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) using the modified ADDIE model consisting of only 3 stages, namely the analysis, design and development stages. The types of data to be obtained in this research are quantitative data and qualitative data. Quantitative data is in the form of the validity value of the electronic module, and qualitative data is obtained from criticism and suggestions from the validator. The data collection instrument used was in the form of an electronic module validation sheet. Data were analyzed descriptively to determine the validity of the electronic module using the Aiken's V formula. The results showed that the overall validity of the electronic module was valid with an Aiken validity index of 0.87. So that the electronic module using the Kvisoft FlipBook Maker application on Straight Motion material for class X SMA is declared valid based on appearance aspects, software utilization aspects, content feasibility aspects, presentation feasibility aspects, and language feasibility aspects. Abstract

Abstract: The type of team games tournament cooperative model learning device usingsnakes and ladders game on solar system material is a learning device in the form oflesson plans, LKPD and Formative Tests combined with the type of team gamestournament cooperative model using snakes and ladders game. These study aims are todevelop learning tools as well as determine the validity of these learning devices. Thelearning devices developed are expected to be media for teachers to convey solarsystem material easily, to make students understood solar system material easily, and toimprove the science learning process in junior high school. The development researchmodel used is the 4D development model (Define, Design, Development, andDisseminate). The research was carried out only until the development stage. Theinstrument used in this study was a validation sheet filled out by 3 validators. Validationresults of the learning devices obtained are valid in the high category with a score of3.25. Therefore, the learning devices developed are suitable for use as learning tools inschools. These learning devices are recommended for teachers. Other research relatedto implementation and development through android applications is still needed.Keywords: Learning Devices, Team Games Tournament Type Cooperative Model.

Abstract

Abstract: The learning tools developed are learning tools based on scaffolding strategies on heat and transfer materials for junior high school students, consisting of Learning Implementation Plans (RPP), Student Worksheets (LKPD), and Learning Outcomes Tests. The purpose of this study was to design and develop physics science learning tools and validate learning tools based on scaffolding strategies on heat and its transfer materials. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) with a 4D model design. The research instrument used was the RPP validation assessment sheet, LKPD and Learning Outcomes Test which was used by the validator to assess learning tools. Data analysis in this study used descriptive analysis, by calculating the validity score of each learning indicator. Based on the results of the analysis of the validity of the data obtained the average value of the validity of the lesson plan is 3.33 with a very high category. The average validity of the LKPD is 3.36 with a very high category. The average validity of the learning outcomes test is 3.26 with a very high category, so that the overall average of learning tools is 3.31 with a very high category. Thus, the IPA learning tools based on the Scaffolding strategy were declared valid and suitable for use in heat and transfer materials for junior high school students.Keyword: Physics Science Learning Tools, Scaffolding Strategy, Heat and Its Transfer.

Abstract

The slope failure can occur due to the soil on the slope area is relatively porous and the surface water is easily to move in the soil. The zone of the weak zone of the soil should be detected early to avoid the ground mass movement on the slope area. This study is to investigate the weak zone of the soil on the slope area of the hot spring tourism location using geoelectrical resistivity and soil property analysis methods. The Wenner configuration with a total of 40 electrodes has been employed at each four resistivity survey lines. The electrode spacing was adjusted to be 2 – 5 meter in order to get relatively higher resolution of the resistivity data. Soil samples were collected at several site to measure the soil characteristics of the study area. The soil analysis results show that the study area consist of gravel, sand, clay, silt and weathered methasediment. The geoelectrical resistivity model shows the relatively low resistivity value of about 30 ohm.m at the slope zone which is indicating that the soil has higher porosity. Generally only a few locations with the weak soil zone detected in the slope of the hot spring area, however, it is not potential for the ground mass movement due to the soil is relatively thin.

Abstract

Integrated geoelectrical resistivity, hydrogeochemical and soil properties analysis methods were used to study the area that has been applied with fertilization for long duration and non-Fertilization in Machang, North Kelantan. The Machang plain is covered with Quaternary fluvial sediments overlying granite bedrock. The drainage system is dendritic with the main river flowing into the South China Sea. In this study, the area was divided into two sites. Site-1 is the non-fertilized site, and Site-2 is the regularly-fertilized site. At shallow depth from the surface to depths of 75 cm a lower average geoelectrical resistivity values were obtained from the regularly fertilized site which has not been fertilized for the last ten months prior to the survey. The average resistivity values were around 0.366 times less in unfertilized sites. Residual nitrate and chloride were still present at the regularly chemically fertilized sites. At sites where no chemical fertilizer was added, the nitrate and chloride concentration were also found. These are due to the faces excretion of from the farm animals. The presence of nitrate and chloride content in pore water reduced the resistivity values. Thus despite low moisture content, the resistivity values to remain low. Normally, resistivity values are inversely proportional to moisture content for area with similar soil condition.
