Abstract

Pawan, sebuah kabupaten yang terletak di cekungan busur belakang Sumatera, memiliki potensi yang ditunjukkan oleh penampilan mata air panas. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan konfigurasi Dipol-dipol. Metode Geolistrik dilakukan dalam lima jalur dengan panjang antara 78 - 108 m. Panjang lintasan bervariasi karena lokasi penelitian terdapat banyak bangunan yang menjadi tempat wisata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa struktur lapisan bawah permukaan dalam manifestasi panas bumi Pawan terdiri dari Lanau, Sandstone dan Meta Sedimen. Jalur 1 ke Jalur 4 memperoleh distribusi manifestasi air panas pada kedalaman sekitar 2,61 - 5,12 m dengan nilai resistivitas 2,6 - 10,4 μm yang ditemukan di lapisan lanau dari lumpur basah yang lembut. Pola distribusi manifestasi air panas di wilayah studi adalah aliran luapan dimana wilayah penelitian ini memiliki zona patahan yang mengendalikan manifestasi panas bumi dan arah aliran ini adalah arah barat aliran sungai. Pawan, a district located in the Sumatera back arc basin, possesses a potential indicated by appearance of hot springs. This research was carried out using the Dipole-dipole configuration. Geoelectric method was done in five lines with length between of 78 to 108 m. The length of the track varies because of the location of the study there are many buildings that become tourist attractions. Research result showed that structure of the subsurface layer in Pawan geothermal manifestation consist of Lanau, Sandstone and Meta Sediments. Line 1 to Line 4 obtained the distribution of hot water manifestations at a depth of about 2.61 to 5.12 m with resistivity values of 2.6 to 10.4 μm found in the silt layer of soft wet silt. The distribution pattern of the manifestation of hot water in the study area is an outflow flow where this research area has a fault zone that controls the manifestation of geothermal heat and the direction of this flow is the direction of the west direction of the river flow.Keywords: Dipole-dipole, Geoelectric, Resistivity, Panas Bumi, Pawan

Abstract

A 2D geoelectrical resistivity method was used for detecting and mapping occurrence of salt/brackish water in the subsurface, North Kelantan - Malaysia. The North Kelantan plain is covered with Quaternary sediments overlying granite bedrock. The drainage system is dendritic with the main river flowing into the South China Sea. The geoelectrical resistivity surveys made up of eleven resistivity traverses at four different sites. The zone of brackish water is very clearly seen in the resistivity inverse model with position around 20-30 m depth. This aquifer is referred to second aquifer. As the final result, a map with the possibility of salt/brackish and fresh water interface can be generated.

Abstract

 The purpose of this research was to describe the social skills of students in class X MIPA SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru, through the application of the rotating trio exchange (RTE) type of cooperative learning model on momentum and impulse material. This type of pre-experimental research with intact-group comparison design. The research subjects were students of class X MIPA 4 and class X MIPA 2, each of which totaled 36 students. The data were obtained from direct observation related to aspects of students' social skills by filling out the observation sheet for five indicators, namely: active listening, taking turns in sharing tasks, asking questions, cooperation, and tolerance. The results showed an increase in students' social skills through the application of the RTE cooperative learning model. The increase occurred in each indicator of students' social skills, where the indicators of active listening were 85.33% high category, taking turns in sharing tasks 86.33% high category, asking questions 66.67% medium category, cooperation 84.67 % high category, and 82.00% tolerance high category. These results indicate that almost all of the observed indicators of students' social skills are in the high category, except the indicators asking questions which are in the medium category. Thus the application of the RTE cooperative learning model, in general, can improve students' social skills well in class X MIPA4 SMA 5 Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Lokasi kajian berada di kampong Tanjung Mas, Kelantan Utara–Malaysia. Wilayah KelantanUtara dilapisi oleh batuan Sedimen Kuarter yang mana batuan Granit sebagai batuan dasarnya.Sistem pengairan adalah berbentuk jaringan dendritik dengan sungai utama mengalir ke LautCina Selatan. Survey resistivitas geolistrik dilakukan untuk mendeteksi kehadiran intrusi air garamdalam akuifer. Survey resistivitas geolistrik dibuat dengan 4 lintasan. Zona air payau yangmemiliki harga resistivitas kurang dari 7 ohm.m, sangat jelas terlihat pada model inverseresistivitas dengan posisi kedalaman sekitar 22 m. Konsentrasi air payau dalam akuiferbagaimanapun juga berkurang akibat pengaruh bertambahnya jarak dari garis pantai dan jugaberkurangnya jarak dari sungai.

Abstract

One of the courses in the Physics Education Study Program that requires direct observation in the field is Advanced Earth Physics. In this course there is one subject that discusses about Groundwater. This study aims to develop a geoelectrical resistivity equipment that can be used in field work by students of the Riau University Physics Education Study Program. The method used was the Research and Development method. The need for tools was analyzed so that ideas for making tools emerge. The tool is designed in such a way as to consider the level of safety, ease of use and antil the acuracy. The results showed that the tools developed were successfully made well. The equipment was validated by experts and field tested. Four experts of Physics lecturers gave an average rating of 3.7on a scale of 4. Thus this tool can already be used in Advanced Earth Physics lectures in the Physics Education Study Program at the University of Riau.

Abstract

In Advanced Earth Physics courses, one of the topics discussed is the characteristics of the earth. One of the topic deals with how to measure the radius of the earth. The purpose of this study is to provide an experiment for students so they can understand how to measure the radius of the earth. A simple but accurate method for measuring the radius of the Earth using a video camera is explained in this study. A demonstration is given to students. Then students were requaired to make their own observations and calculate the radius of the earth obtained from each experiment. The results of student experiments show that the radius of the earth is 6243.94 km with a standard deviation of 14.70 km. The average results of these 35 students are within 1.9% of the average value of the earth's radius which is currently accepted at 6371 km. This experiment is very useful in giving students a good understanding so they understand how to determine the radius of the earth.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to determine the improvement of the learning outcomes cognitive science of physics by using Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model. This research was conducted in SMK Taruna Satria Pekanbaru from July to October 2019. The subjects were students of class X TKJ4 was 28 students consisting of 20 male students and 8 female students. The research metodh is pre-experimental with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The instrument of data collection in this research is a cognitive achievement test consists of 15 multiple choice items. The analysis of the data in this research is a descriptive analysis. The descriptive analysis were obtained an average score of students before treatment by 41.67, after being given treatment, the average score of students was 80.24. Gain calculation shows that cognitive learning outcomes of students has increased by 0.66 with the medium category. Thus it can be concluded that the use of Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition learning model can improve cognitive learning outcomes of students of class X SMK Taruna Satria Pekanbaru in the subject matter motion and force.Key Words: Cognitive Learning Outcomes, Cooperative Integrated Reading And Composition, Motion and Force

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the correlation learning motivation and self-regulated learning with physics learning result of class XI SMA Negeri 4 students Pekanbaru. Type of this research is correlational research. The sample in this study amounted to 64 students of class XI IPA SMA Negeri 4 Pekanbaru. The of research instrument used questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis technique us correlation product moment and multiple correlation. The result of the research shows that: (1) there is a positive correlation between learning motivation (X1) with the learning result of physics (Y) which is proved rx1y = 0.465, Rx1y = 0.216, tcount = 4.136, (2) there is a positive correlation between self- regulated learning (X2) with the result of physics (Y) which is proved rx2y = 0.448, Rx2y = 0.201, tcount = 3.394, (3) there is a positive correlation between learning motivation (X1) and self-regulated learning (X2) with the learning result of physics (Y) which is proved rx1x2y = 0.553, Rx1x2y = 0.305, Fcount = 13.407. This study concludes that high learning motivation and self-regulated learning can improve physics learning outcomes.Keywords: Learning Motivation, Self-Regulated Learning, Learning Result

Abstract

Abstract : This research aimed to produce an experiment's tools of Faraday symptoms expert and the valid student worksheet. So can be used as a learning media for senior highschool on material of electromagnetic induction. The used research methods are RESEARCH and DEVELOPMENT. In this research, the development of experiment's tools just till the validation step of the experiment's tools and student worksheet by several steps.The data was obtained from the validation of 3 lectuters and 2 teachers as validator. The validation was conducted in 2 phases, first phase was improvement and the second was assessment. The aspects which were assessed were the functionally of the equipment Very high category, the learning elements very high category, easiness very high category, esthetic and construction high category, and the safety Very high category. The aspect were assessed from student worksheet were the accuracy of content very high category, presentation prosperity high category, language prosperity high category, demonstration prosperity very high category Overall, each indicator of assessment in every aspect were declared as valid in very high category. In conclusion, faraday's legal trial was declared valid based. So it's feasible and valid to use as physics learning media for senior highschool on material of electromagnetic induction.Keywords : Experiment's equipment of Faraday Law,senior high school physics learning media

Abstract

Abstract: The learning device developed is a physics learning tool using a cooperative model type Course Review Horay (CRH) class X SMA on momentum and impulse material, consisting of a Learning Implementation Plan (RPP), Student Worksheets (LKPD), and cognitive learning outcome test instruments. . The purpose of this study was to produce a physics learning device using a cooperative model type Course Review Horay (CRH) which is valid in class X SMA on momentum and impulse material. This research is expected to be a reference for making innovative learning tools and can be used as a foundation in the teaching and learning process so that learning objectives can be achieved. This type of research is a Research and Development (R&D) using the 4D model. This research is only limited to the development stage. The research instrument used was the RPP validation assessment sheet, LKPD, and the cognitive learning outcome test instrument used by the validator to assess learning tools. The data analysis in this study used descriptive analysis, by calculating the validity score of each indicator of the learning device. The results showed that the physics learning device using the Course Review Horay (CRH) cooperative model was declared valid with the overall score of the device being 3.36 in the very high category, so it was declared feasible to be used for teaching in class X SMA on momentum and impulse material.Key Words: Physics Learning Tools, Cooperative Model of Course Review Horay type,Momentum and Impulse.
