Abstract

This community service program aimed to enhance teacher professionalism through scientific article writing training in Mataram City. The program was motivated by the low academic writing competence among teachers, with only about 30% having prior publication experience. A total of 35 participants, consisting of 25 junior high school teachers and 10 pre-service teachers, were involved in activities that included socialization, intensive workshops, mentoring, and the use of supporting technologies such as Mendeley, Turnitin, and Google Classroom. Evaluation through pre-test and post-test demonstrated an improvement in participants’ scores from 67% to 78%, representing an 11% increase, with the highest achievement in academic ethics (85%). Furthermore, participants successfully developed article drafts, one of which was prepared for submission to a SINTA 4–accredited journal, and established a scientific writing community along with the production of a textbook Writing Educational Articles: From Ideas to Publication as additional outputs. These results indicate that practice-based training, personal mentoring, and the integration of technology are effective in improving academic literacy and teacher professionalism. The novelty of this program lies in combining academic literacy training with the creation of sustainable outputs (textbook and community), making it a replicable model for other regions with similar challenges.

Abstract

Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi  dalam pendidikan guru di tuntut untuk mampu beradaptasi.Penelitian ini dilakukan sebagai respons terhadap pesatnya perkembangan teknologi Artificial Intelligence (AI) dalam bidang pendidikan serta kebutuhan guru akan inovasi pembelajaran untuk mendorong motivasi belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan AI oleh guru tergolong efektif dalam mendorong  motivasi belajar siswa. Guru memanfaatkan aplikasi seperti ChatGPT, Gamma AI, dan Quizziz untuk menyusun materi ajar, membuat media pembelajaran, serta melakukan evaluasi. Hasilnya  Pemanfaatan AI mendorong  partisipasi aktif siswa, terlihat dari keterlibatan mereka dalam proses pembelajaran dan interaksi di kelas. Penggunaan AI juga berdampak positif pada motivasi belajar siswa. Dari hasil wawancara 82% siswa maupun guru yang menjadi subjek penelitian merasa dampak positif dari pemanfaatan AI. Temuan ini diperkuat dengan hasil observasi dikelas Xl yang menunjukkan siswa cenderung lebih aktif saat kegiatan pembelajaran yang melibatkan AI. Bagi siswa AI membuat Susana belajar lebih menarik dan bervariasi sehingga berdampak pada motivasi untuk belajar. Faktor pendukung pemanfaatan AI meliputi kesiapan guru dalam beradaptasi dengan teknologi, ketersediaan perangkat pribadi, serta fasilitas laboratorium komputer. Sementara itu, faktor penghambat meliputi keterbatasan pelatihan literasi digital, kurangnya LCD, dan jaringan internet yang belum stabil. Secara keseluruhan, pemanfaatan AI oleh guru terbukti efektif dalam menciptakan pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif, efisien, dan menyenangkan, serta berkontribusi positif dalam mendorong motivasi belajar siswa. The Use of Artificial Intelligence Tools by Teachers in Encouraging Student Learning Motivation at State Senior High School 2 Narmada Abstract Along with the development of technology in education, teachers are required to be able to adapt. This study was conducted in response to the rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology in the field of education and the need for teachers to innovate learning to encourage student learning motivation. This type of research is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The results of the study indicate that the use of AI by teachers is quite effective in encouraging student learning motivation. Teachers utilize applications such as ChatGPT, Gamma AI, and Quizziz to compile teaching materials, create learning media, and conduct evaluations. The results of the use of AI encourage active student participation, seen from their involvement in the learning process and interactions in the classroom. The use of AI also has a positive impact on student learning motivation. From the results of interviews, 82% of students and teachers who were the subjects of the study felt a positive impact from the use of AI. This finding is reinforced by the results of observations in class XI which showed students tended to be more active during learning activities involving AI. For students, AI makes the learning atmosphere more interesting and varied, thus impacting motivation to learn. Supporting factors for the use of AI include teacher readiness to adapt to technology, the availability of personal devices, and computer laboratory facilities. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include limited digital literacy training, a lack of LCDs, and unstable internet connections. Overall, teachers' use of AI has proven effective in creating more interactive, efficient, and enjoyable learning, as well as positively contributing to boosting student learning motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of implementing the Make A Match type cooperative learning model assisted by quartet card media on students’ learning participation in the Pancasila Education subject for seventh-grade students at SMPN 11 Mataram. This research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design using the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population of this study consisted of all seventh-grade students of SMPN 11 Mataram, totaling 98 students. The sample was determined using random sampling techniques, resulting in class VII C as the experimental class and class VII D as the control class, with a total sample of 48 students. Data collection techniques included observation and a student learning participation questionnaire. The research instruments were first tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was conducted through prerequisite tests, namely normality and homogeneity tests, followed by hypothesis testing using an independent t-test at a 5% significance level. The results of the study indicate that there is a significant effect of implementing the Make A Match type cooperative learning model assisted by quartet card media on students’ learning participation. This is evidenced by the hypothesis testing results showing that the calculated t-value is greater than the t-table value, so the alternative hypothesis is accepted. The implementation of the Make A Match type cooperative learning model assisted by quartet card media was able to increase student engagement, learning interaction, and active participation during the Pancasila Education learning process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa, dimana hanya 14 siswa (41,18%) dari 34 siswa yang mencapai nilai KKM ≥75, serta proses pembelajaran yang masih konvensional dan kurang menarik minat siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan media video di kelas VIII SMP IT Nurul Quran Al-Aziziyah Mataram. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing terdiri dari tiga pertemuan. Setiap siklus mencakup tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah 34 siswa kelas VIII. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, tes tertulis, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan pada hasil belajar siswa. Pada kondisi awal, nilai rata-rata siswa sebesar 65,84 dengan 14 siswa (41,18%) mencapai KKM. Setelah siklus I, nilai rata-rata meningkat menjadi 67,21 dengan 21 siswa (61,76%) mencapai KKM, atau terjadi peningkatan sebesar 20,58%. Pada siklus II, nilai rata-rata meningkat menjadi 79,12 dengan 31 siswa (91,18%) mencapai KKM, atau meningkat 29,42% dari siklus I. Ketercapaian descriptor pembelajaran juga meningkat dari 86,4% (19 dari 22 descriptor) pada siklus I menjadi 95,45% (21 dari 22 descriptor) pada siklus II.  Implikasi praktis dari temuan ini adalah bahwa guru dapat mengadopsi model PBL berbantuan video sebagai alternatif strategi pembelajaran inovatif untuk menciptakan suasana belajar yang lebih interaktif dan berpusat pada siswa. Bagi sekolah, hasil penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya dukungan fasilitas media pembelajaran serta pelatihan guru dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi dan model pembelajaran aktif guna meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran secara berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning berbantuan media video terbukti efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila.

Abstract

Indonesia has a very complex ethnic anatomy, one of which is the Sasak tribe. Sasak tribe has a wealth of culture that surrounds all dimensions of life including the education sector. The purpose of this research is to explore the principles of beguru in preparing educational facilities and infrastructure. This study used a naturalistic approach with ethnograpi types. Data collection was done using ethnographic interview techniques. To maintain the validity of the data, triangulation of data sources and time is carried out. The collected data was further analyzed using an interactive model described by Miles, Huberman, & Saldana which consists of three stages, namely; data condensation, data display, and conclusion. Based on the analysis technique found 3 (three) principles of beguru in the preparation of educational facilities and infrastructure, namely; principles of comfort and tranquility, principles of availability and readiness, and principles of conformity to the needs or types of fields of science. These principles are fundamental and universal because they are preconditions for the creation of quality education and learning and can be applied to all pathways, types, and levels of education. Therefore, these principles can be a role of the conduct in choosing and determining educational facilities and infrastructure. Bangsa Indonesia memiliki anatomi suku bangsa yang sangat kompleks salah satunya adalah suku Sasak. Suku Sasak memiliki hazanah budaya yang melingkupi semua dimensi kehidupan salah satunya dalam sektor pendidikan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi prinsip-prinsip beguru dalam menyiapkan sarana dan prasarana pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan naturalistic dengan jenis penelitian etnograpi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara etnografi. Untuk menjaga validitas data dilakukan triangulasi sumber data dan waktu. Data yang terkumpul selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif yang dikemukakan oleh Miles, Huberman, & Saldana yang terdiri dari tiga tahap, yaitu; kondensasi data, display data, dan penarikan simpulan. Berdasarkan teknik analisis tersebut ditemukan 3 (tiga) prinsip beguru dalam penyiapan sarana dan prasarana pendidikan, yaitu; prinsip kenyamanan dan ketenangan, prinsip ketersediaan dan kesiapan, dan prinsip kesesuaian dengan kebutuhan atau jenis bidang ilmu. Prinsip-prinsip tersebut bersifat fundamental dan universal karena menjadi prakondisi terciptanya pendidikan dan pembelajaran yang berkualitas dan dapat diterapkan pada semua jalur, jenis, dan jenjang pendidikan. Oleh sebab itu, prinsip-prinsip tersebut  dapat menjadi role of the conduct dalam memilih dan menentukan sarana dan prasarana pendidikan.
