Abstract

This study aims to map the effective communication needs of auditors as a basis for developing a communication model at the Inspectorate General of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology. The research approach uses a mixed methods approach with a quantitative and qualitative descriptive design. A total of 20 auditors participated in filling out the questionnaire, and 5 auditors were interviewed to reinforce the quantitative findings. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, while qualitative data were analyzed using thematic analysis to identify patterns of auditors' communication needs and barriers. The results showed that the level of auditors' need for effective communication was very high (mean 4.37). The highest needs were in the aspects of professional communication skills and the ability to convey findings clearly and persuasively. Communication barriers that arose during the audit included ambiguity between message delivery and reception, defensive attitudes from auditees, and the lack of ideal organizational communication guidelines for auditors. Based on auditor preferences, it was also shown that auditors want digital learning media in the form of e-books and e-learning. This is because both e-books and e-learning are considered more flexible and easily accessible by auditors anytime and anywhere. Based on these findings, this study concludes that there is a need to develop a communication model.

Abstract

This inquiry is directed toward evaluating the magnitude of influenceexerted by three key predictors Principal Leadership, InnovativeOrganizational Culture, and Work Motivation upon Teacher Performance atSDN 012 Balikpapan Timur and SDIT Darun Najah. Adopting a quantitative approach, this research utilized a census technique, wherein theentire population of 46 teachers served as a saturated sample. Data acquisition relied on Likert-scale questionnaires, while hypothesisverification was conducted utilizing Multiple Linear Regression analysis. Despite initial normality assessments indicating a non-normal distribution (p < 0.001), the analytical process proceeded as the model successfullysatisfied alternative classical assumption prerequisites, specifically validity, reliability, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity. The empirical findingsconfirm that, when examined partially, none of the three independentvariables exert a substantial impact on teacher performance; this iscorroborated by probability values exceeding the 0.05 threshold for eachvariable (X1=0.214; X2=0.149; X3=0.364). Furthermore, the coefficient ofdetermination reveals that only 29.8% of the variability in TeacherPerformance is attributable to the combination of these independentvariables. Consequently, the remaining majority proportion (70.2%) stemsfrom external determinants falling outside the scope of this analyticalframework. It is concluded that within the elementary school context of thisregion, these specific factors do not constitute the primary drivers forenhancing teacher performance.

Abstract

Abstract: The study aims to examine the role of repatriation programs in improving the quality of education in Community Learning Centers (CLCs) in Sabah, Malaysia. The main focus of the research is to investigate the aspects of education quality in CLCs, identify obstacles to improving the quality of education in CLCs, understand the implementation of repatriation, and identify the role of repatriation programs. This research is expected to provide strategic recommendations to improve the quality of education in CLCs in Sabah, Malaysia. This research was descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The location of this research was CLC in the Sabah, Malaysia, region. The subjects in this study were the principal of the Indonesian School of Kota Kinabalu (SIKK), CLC teachers, and CLC alumni. Data collection in this study was carried out by technical observation, documentation, and interviews. The validity of the data was checked using a triangulation technique. Meanwhile, data analysis used qualitative data analysis techniques (Miles and Huberman), with the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The study shows that each CLC seeks to meet the eight national education standards set by the Indonesian government. Because the SNP has not been implemented optimally, SIKK as the parent school of CLC carries out internal standardization through monitoring and evaluation. Obstacles to improve the quality of CLC education are mostly in terms of administration. Besides that, each CLC has different challenges and obstacles. The repatriation program is one of the efforts to improve quality in the form of repatriation of students to continue their education, which is divided into the ADEM repatriation pathway, which is fully financed by the government, and the Foundation repatriation pathway, which the Foundation or partner schools finance. The role of the repatriation program in improving the quality of education in CLC, Sabah, Malaysia, includes increasing students' motivation to learn, increasing parents' awareness of education, improving the quality of CLC graduates, and improving the quality of the educational service process at CLC. Hambatan dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan CLC sebagian besar dari segi administrasi, selain itu masing-masing CLC memiliki tantangan dan kendala yang berbeda.
