Abstract

This study aimed to determine the characteristics of the physical fitness level of new members of the Pasopati student regiment. This study uses a survey method with test and measurement techniques. The population used were members of the Pasopati student regiment as many as 81 students. The sampling technique was carried out by purposive sampling so that a sample of 29 new members of the Pasopati student regiment was obtained. The instrument used in this study was the Indonesian Physical Fitness Test for adolescents aged 16-19 years. The data analysis technique used descriptive quantitative percentages. The results of the study show that the results of the research on the physical fitness of new members of the Pasopati Student regiment are known that the characteristics of physical fitness of new members of the Pasopati Student regiment can be described as (1) The physical fitness of new members of the male's Pasopati student regiment is included in the good category of 33.33%, (2 ) The level of physical fitness of new members of the female Pasopati student regiment is mostly in the good category as much as 60%, and (3) The physical fitness of all new members of the Pasopati Student regiment, both male and female, is included in the good category of 48.28%. Therefore, it is still very necessary to carry out intensive training to be able to improve physical fitness for new members of the Pasopati student regiment, especially speed, strength, and endurance exercises for the arm and shoulder muscles, and cardiorespiratory endurance because each member of the student regiment as the components of the state's defense and security reserves requires excellent physical fitness

Abstract

This study aims to find out the effectiveness of kinesio tape use toward legs muscle’s power of amateur basketball players. The method used in this research was quasi experiment method. The population of this research was all of the basketball players. The sample was eleven amateur basketball players that were not competing nationally. Purposive sampling was used as the technique of sample collection. The instruments of this study were test and measurement. The technique of data collection was using survey method. Legs muscle's power are measured by using vertical jump test. The measurement was done three times which were posttest, pre-test 1, and pre-test 2. The data were analyzed using paired t-test with 5% significance level. The measurement generates results that are; (1) there are significant effects from legs muscle’s power before using kinesio tape and after using kinesio tape with p-value (0.004) 0.005; (2) there are significant effects from legs muscle’s power before using kinesio tape and after 30 minutes of using it with p-value (0.000) 0.005. The average calculation shows that using kinesio tape after 30 minutes are more effective than while it is being used. The conclusion of this study is kinesio tape has significant effects toward legs muscle’s power of amateur basketball players. EFEKTIVITAS KINESIO TAPE TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN DAYA LEDAK OTOT TUNGKAI PEMAIN BASKET AMATIR AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan kinesio tape terhadap daya ledak otot tungkai pemain basket amatir.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen semu. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh pemain basket. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 11 pemain basket amatir yang tidak berkompetisi nasional. Pemilihan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah tes dan pengukuran. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan metode survey. Pengukuran daya ledak otot tungkai menggunakan tes vertical jump. Pengukuran dilakukan sebanyak 3 kali yaitu post test, pre test 1, dan pre test 2. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan paired t-test dengan taraf signifikansi 5%. Berdasakan pengukuran didapatkan hasil sebagai berikut, (1) tedapat efek yang signifikan dari daya ledak otot tungkai sebelum memakai kinesio tape dengan sesaat setelah memakai kinesio tape dengan nilai p (0.004) 0.005; (2) terdapat efek yang signifikan dari daya ledak otot tungkai sebelum memakai kinesio tape dengan setelah 30 menit  memakai kinesio tape dengan nilai p (0.000) 0.005. Hasil rata-rata perhitungan memperlihatkan bahwa lebih efektif pemakaian kinesio tape setelah 30 menit dibanding ketika sesaat digunakan. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah kinesio tape mempunyai efek yang signifikan terhadap daya ledak otot tungkai pemain basket amatir.

Abstract

Performance of a football player in a competitive match is influenced by good physical condition in training, competing, or in everyday life. Comprehensive ability is the hope of all football coaches. The study was conducted to determine how the comparison of the physical condition profile of youth football players in the elite and non-elite categories at the provincial level football federation, especially in SSB in the Special Region of Yogyakarta.The research method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. The subjects of this study were students or soccer athletes in elite and non-elite youth football players. The population that the researchers determined was elite and non-elite youth football players at football schools or football clubs in the DIY Province. The sampling technique was carried out by means of purposive random sampling. The instrument in this study used the MFT / Yoyo Intermitent Test, Vertical Jump Test, 30 meter Sprint Test, Illinois Test, and Sit And Reach.Based on the results of the study, it shows that the body mass index component with an average of 19.53 elite players and 19.78 non-elite players. Flexibility, elite players 34.40 and non elite players 31.14. The leg power of elite players is 45.52 and for non-elite players is 45.28. The speed component is 4.48 for elite and non-elite players, 4.95. For coordination, the elite players are 53.04 and the non-elite players are 51.20. The agility of the elite players is 18.68 and the non-elite players are 18.99. Meanwhile, the aerobic endurance for elite players was 39.85 and non-elite players were 37.97. So it can be concluded that the physical condition of soccer players which includes body mass index, flexibility, leg power, speed, coordination, agility and endurance, elite players show better results compared to non-elite players.

Abstract

This research is a quantitative descriptive study which aims to obtain an overview of alumni assessments in providing service quality and the relevance of the curriculum of the Sport Science Study Program, Faculty of Sport Sciences, Yogyakarta State University. The data collection method used a questionnaire with variables consisting of 1) the quality of financing services and academic activities 2) the waiting period of work, 3) the competence of graduates, and 4) the relevance of the curriculum. The population of this study were all graduates of the Ikor Study Program. Sampling with snowball sampling technique with a total of 113 samples. The research instrument used a questionnaire while for data collection techniques using google form. Data analysis was carried out by means of quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of the study show that the service quality of the Ikor study program in financing is very good, it is known that the tuition fees are 26.55% with scholarships and 73.45% at their own expense. Meanwhile, the quality of service in academic activities was good at 79.27%. Ikor Study Program graduates in obtaining employment amounted to 65.49% after graduating with an average of 3.47 months and before graduating 34.51% with an average of 5.23 months. The overall competence of graduates was very good, namely 85.3%, the most prominent being competence in working with teams or with other people, namely 88.5%. The results of the relevance of the curriculum are included in the very good category, namely 85.93%, in the relevance of the curriculum from the alumni assessment, the highest percentage of 90.97% was found in practice subjects that were delivered during lectures very well according to work needs. So as a whole it can be concluded that most of the alumni assessments in providing service quality and curriculum relevance are very good. PENILAIAN ALUMNI TERHADAP MUTU LAYANAN DAN RELEVANSI KURIKULUM PROGRAM STUDI ILMU KEOLAHRAGAAN FIK UNY AbstrakPenelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang penilaian alumni dalam menyelenggarakan mutu layanan dan relevansi kurikulum Program Studi Ilmu Keolahragaan Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner dengan variabel yang terdiri dari 1) mutu layanan pembiayaan dan kegiatan akademik 2) masa tunggu pekerjaan, 3) kompetensi lulusan, dan 4) relevansi kurikulum. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh lulusan Prodi Ikor. Pengambilan sampel dengan teknik snowball sampling dengan jumlah 113 sampel. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuisioner sedangkan untuk teknik pengumpulan data dengan google form. Analisis data dilakukan dengan jalan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penilitian menunjukan bahwa mutu layanan prodi Ikor dalam pembiayaan sangat baik, diketahui bahwa pembiayan kuliahnya sebesar 26,55 % dengan beasiswa dan sebesar 73,45 % dengan biaya sendiri. Sedangkan mutu layanan pada kegiatan akademik hasilnya baik yaitu sebesar 79,27 %. Lulusan Prodi Ikor dalam memperoleh pekerjaan sebesar 65,49 % sesudah lulus dengan rata-rata sebesar 3,47 bulan dan sebelum lulus sebesar 34,51 % dengan rata-rata sebesar 5,23 bulan. Kompetensi lulusan secara keseluruhan sangat baik yaitu 85,3 % yang paling menonjol kompetensi dalam bekerjasama dengan tim atau dengan orang lain yaitu sebesar 88,5 %. Hasil relevansi kurikulum masuk dalam kategori sangat baik yaitu sebesar 85,93 %, dalam relevansi kurikulum dari penilaian alumni persenstase yang paling tinggi yaitu sebesar 90,97 % terdapat pada matakuliah praktik yang disampaikan saat kuliah sangat sesuai dengan kebutuhan kerja. Sehingga secara keseluruhan dapat disimpulkan bahwa penilaian alumni dalam penyelenggaraan mutu layanan dan relevansi kurikulum sebagian besar menyatakan sangat baik.

Abstract

Body weight training menggunakan resitance band dan tanpa resistance band merupakan bentuk latihan beban yang sedang populer saat ini. Kebanyakan orang melakukan kedua latihan tersebut untuk tujuan menurunkan berat badan dan persentase lemak. Akan tetapi belum diketahui tingkat efektivitas dari latihan body weight training menggunakan resistance band dan tanpa resistance band terhadap penurunan berat badan dan persentase lemak. Penelitian ini adalah pre-experimen dengan desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pretest dan posttest. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara purposive sampling, dengan member wanita berjumlah 20 orang, berjenis kelamin perempuan. Pembagian kelompok dalam penelitian ini yaitu kelompok I body weight training menggunakan resistance band dan kelompok II tanpa resistance band. Instrument yang digunakan untuk mengukur berat badan yaitu timbangan omron dengan satuan kilogram, untuk mengukur tinggi badan dengan menggunakan stadium meter dengan atuan centimeter, dan untuk mengukur persentase lemak badan menggunkan skinfold calipter. Teknik analisis data menggunakan paired t test dan independent t test untuk mengetahui ada pengaruh dan ada perbedaan terhadap sampel penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Ada pengaruh yang signifikan body weight training menggunakan resistance band terhadap penueunan berat badan dan persentase lemak dengan nilai signifikasi (p0,05), (2) Ada pengaruh body weight training tanpa resistance band terhadap penurunan berat badan persentase lemak dengan nilai signifikasi (p0,05). (3) Dapat dibuktikan juga bahwa latihan beban body weight training menggunkan resistance band lebih efektif dari pada tanpa resistance band terhadap penurunan berat badan dan persentase lemak pada sampel penelitian.  EFFECTIVENESS OF BODY WEIGHT TRAINING TRAININGWITH AND WITHOUT USING THE RESISTANCE BANDTOWARDS WEIGHT REDUCTION AND PERCENTAGE OF FAT AbstractBody weight training using resistance bands and without resistance bands is a form of weight training that is currently popular. Most people do both exercises for the purpose of losing weight and fat percentage. However, the level of effectiveness of body weight training using resistance bands and without resistance bands for weight loss and fat percentage is unknown. This research is a pre-experiment with the research design used, namely pretest and posttest. Sampling in this study was carried out by means of purposive sampling, with 20 female members, female sex. The division of groups in this study is group I body weight training using resistance bands and group II without resistance bands. The instrument used to measure body weight is the scale of the omron in kilograms, to measure height using a stadium meter with a centimeter, and to measure the percentage of body fat using a skinfold calipter. Data analysis techniques used paired t test and independent t test to find out there is an influence and there are differences in the research sample. The results showed that: (1) There was a significant effect of body weight training using resistance bands on weight loss and fat percentage with a significant value (p 0.05), (2) There was an effect of body weight training without resistance bands on weight loss body fat percentage with a significance value (p 0.05). (3) It can also be proven that body weight training using resistance bands is more effective than without resistance bands for weight loss and fat percentage in the study sample.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Mengetahui pengaruh metode latihan circuit weight training terhadap penurunan berat badan dan prosentase lemak, (2) Mengetahui pengaruh metode latihan super set terhadap penurunan berat badan dan prosentase lemak, (3) Mengetahui metode manakah yang paling efektif antara metode latihan circuit weight training dengan metode latihan super set terhadap penurunan berat badan dan prosentase lemak pada member Cakra Sport Club.Penelitian ini adalah pre-eksperimen dengan desain penelitian yang di gunakan yaitu pretest- posttest. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah member cakra sport club dengan jumlah 20 member. Pembagian kelompok dalam penelitian ini yaitu kelompok I latihan dengan metode circuit weight training dan kelompok II latihan dengan metode super set. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu timbangan, alat ukur tinggi badan dan skinfold caliper. Teknik analisis data menggunakan paired t test dan independen t test untuk mengetahui ada pengaruh dan ada perbedaan terhadap sampel.Hasil Penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) Latihan menggunakan metode circuit weight training ada pengaruh yaitu pada berat badan sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan metode circuit weight training sebesar 4,6 % dan prosentase lemak sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan metode circuit weight training sebesar 19,2 %. (2) Latihan menggunakan metode super set ada pengaruh pada berat badan sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan metode super set sebesar 2,6 % dan persentase lemak sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan metode super set sebesar 10,5 %. (3) Metode circuit weight training lebih efektif dari pada metode super set untuk menurunkan berat badan dan prosentase lemak. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai prosentase pada penurunan berat badan antara metode circuit weight training dengan metode super set sebesar 4,6 % yang lebih besar dari 2,6 % dan nilai prosentase penurunan prosentase lemak antara metode circuit weight training dengan metode super set sebesar 19,2 % yang lebih besar dari 10,5 %.

Abstract

Motion analysis in sports can help athletes and coaches as material for evaluating movement in improving movement and improving athlete performance with a predetermined training program. The purpose of this study was to analyze the motion of the topspin technique in table tennis. This research is a qualitative research by describing the results of the video analysis of the topspin technique movement which is accessed from youtube, then using the Kinovea application instrument. The subjects in this study were the top ranked players, which consisted of five of the best male athletes at the world level in the table tennis game. Based on the analysis data above, it was found that the average bending of the elbow at the ready position was 92.80, the swing position before hitting the ball was 142.40, when hitting the ball was 117.80, and after hitting the ball was 73.40. The results of the average elbow distance from the center point when the ready position is 68.728 cm, when the swing position before hitting the ball is 23.532 cm, when hitting the ball with a distance of 50.88 cm and during further motion 150.768 cm. The results of the analysis of the inclination angle of the body when the ready position is 161.60, when swinging the hand 152.60, when hitting the ball 150.60, and for further motion with a body inclination of 1660. The results of the analysis of the bending of the right leg when the position is 149.80, the position of swinging the right leg 125.40, and when the ball hits it forms an angle of 125.60 and when it continues to move 42.60. The average results of the analysis of the left leg bending angle when the ready position is 151.20, the swinging position with the left leg bending is 126.20, in the position of the ball hitting an angle of 130.40, and accompanied by a follow-up motion to form the left foot angle of 1460. The average foot distance when hitting the topspin, in the ready position is 186 cm, during the backswing the foot distance is 196.638 cm, and when hitting the ball is 198.81 cm, and accompanied by a follow-up motion of 195.886 cm. Biomechanical analysis of the topspin technique from several stages starting from the ready position to the advanced motion carried out by each athlete according to their respective body anatomy and following the position when hitting the ball.Analisis biomekanika teknik topspin pada permainan tenis mejaAbstrakAnalisis gerak pada olahraga dapat membantu atlet dan pelatih sebagai bahan evaluasi gerakan dalam memperbaiki gerakan dan meningkatkan performa atlet dengan program latihan yang telah ditentukan. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah menganalisis gerak teknik topspin dalam permainan tenis meja. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan mendeskripsikan hasil analisis video gerakan teknik topspin yang diakses dari youtube, kemudian menggunakan instrumen aplikasi Kinovea. Subyek dalam penelitian ini men top ranked players yang berjumlah lima orang atlet putra terbaik ditingkat dunia pada permainan tenis meja. Berdasarkan dari data analisis diatas ditemukan nilai rerata tekukan siku pada saat posisi siap 92,80, posisi ayunan sebelum memukul bola 142,40, saat memukul bola 117,80, dan sesudah memukul bola sebesar 73,40. Hasil rerata jarak siku dari titik pusat saat posisi siap 68,728 cm, saat posisi ayunan sebelum memukul bola 23,532 cm, saat memukul bola dengan jarak 50,88 cm dan saat gerak lanjutan 150,768 cm. Hasil analisis sudut kecondongan tubuh saat posisi siap 161,60, saat mengayunkan tangan 152,60, saat memukul bola 150,60, dan untuk gerak lanjutan dengan kecondongan tubuh 1660. Hasil analisis tekukan kaki kanan saat posisi 149,80, posisi mengayunkan kaki kanan 125,40, dan saat perkenaan bola membentuk sudut 125,60 dan saat gerak lanjutan 42,60. Hasil rerata analisis sudut tekukan kaki kiri saat posisi siap 151,20, posisi mengayungkan tangan dengan tekukan kaki kiri 126,20, pada posisis perkenaan bola membentuk sudut 130,40, serta diiringi dengan gerak lanjutan membentuk sudut kaki kiri 1460. Hasil rerata jarak kaki saat melakukan pukulan topspin, pada posisi siap 186cm, saat backswing jarak kaki 196,638 cm, dan saat perkenaan bola 198,81 cm, serta di iringi gerak lanjutan 195,886 cm. Analisis biomekanik teknik topspin dari beberapa tahapan dimulai dari posisi siap hingga gerak lanjutan yang dilakukan masing-masing atlet sesuai anatomi tubuh masing-masing serta mengikuti posisi saat perkenaan bola.

Abstract

This research and development aims to produce perceptual motor tests for children aged 5-6 years. The development procedure adapted the Borg and Gall model, namely: (1) the preliminary study and planning stage, (2) the product development stage, (3) the expert validation stage, 4) the trial phase, and (5) product revision. The trial subjects used 10 children aged 5-6 years. The data used in this research are quantitative and qualitative data. Quantitative data were obtained from the results of the validation of the perceptual motor test draft and trials. Qualitative data obtained from the results of a questionnaire in the form of input and suggestions from material experts and practitioners. The data collection instrument used questionnaire guidelines. The questionnaire was used to get input from material experts and practitioners. The product can be said to be accepted and used must be tested for validity and reliability. Material expert validation test based on content validity and reliability testing using observation reliability with Alpha Cronbach. The results of the product developed show that perceptual motor tests for children aged 5-6 years are acceptable and in accordance with aspects of perceptual motor elements. The reliability test result was 0.930.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan bodyweight dengan Total-body Resistance Exercise (TRX) terhadap Peningkatan Kekuatan Otot. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen. Desain penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan one-group pretest-posttest design. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah members The Fitlab Hotel Tara. Instrumen yang digunakan leg and back dynamometer untuk mengukur kekuatan otot tungkai dan punggung, hand grip dynamometer untuk mengukur kekuatan otot tangan, dan pull and push dynamometer untuk mengukur kekuatan menarik dan mendorong otot lengan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji hipotesis dengan analisis uji t (paired sample t test). Hasil penelitian diperoleh persentase peningkatan pada kekuatan otot tungkai sebesar 6,88 %, persentase peningkatan pada kekuatan otot punggung sebesar 10,17%, persentase peningkatan pada kekuatan otot tangan sebesar 10,4%, persentase peningkatan pada kekuatan menarik otot lengan sebesar 8,67%, persentase peningkatan pada kekuatan mendorong otot lengan sebesar 11,26%. Dengan demikian disimpulkan ada pengaruh yang signifikan latihan bodyweight dengan total-body resistance exercise (TRX) terhadap peningkatan kekuatan otot yang meliputi peningkatan kekuata otot tungkai, kekuatan otot punggung, kekuatan otot tangan, kekuatan menarik otot lengan, dan kekuatan mendorong otot lengan. The bodyweight training with total-body resistance exercise (TRX) can be improving of muscle strength AbstractThis research aims to determine the effect of bodyweight training with Total-body Resistance Exercise (TRX) to the Improvement of Muscle Strength. This research used experimental research methods. The research design in this study was using one-group pretest-posttest design. The subject of the study is members of The Fitlab Tara Hotel. The instruments that have been used are leg and back dynamometer for measure the leg and back muscle strength, hand grip dynamometer for measure the hand muscle strength, and pull and push dynamometer for measure the pulling and pushing arm muscle strength. Data analysis techniques used hypothesis testing with t test analysis (paired sample t test). Based on the results of the study obtained, the percentage increase in leg muscle strength is 6.88%, the percentage increase in back muscle strength is 10.17%, the percentage increase in the hand muscle Strength is 10.4%, the percentage increase in the strength of pulling arm muscles is 8,67%, the percentage increase in the strength of pushing arm muscles is 11.26%. Thus, it was concluded that there was a significant effect of bodyweight training with total-body resistance exercise (TRX) on increasing muscle strength including increased strength of leg muscles, strength of back muscles, strength of hand muscles, strength of pulling arm muscles, and strength of pushing arm muscles.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of skipping combination with body weight training on cardiorespiratory endurance and BMI as an effort to prevent Covid 19 for overweight adolescents. This research is an experimental research. In this study, treatment was given in the form of skipping exercise combined with body weight training for 8 weeks with a frequency of 3 times / week, an intensity of 60%-70% MHR with a duration of 30 minutes. The population in this study were teenagers. Sampling was done by purposive sampling on adolescents aged between 17-21 years and overweight. Instrument used to measure VO2 max with MFT (multistage fitness test) and measurement of height and weight to determine BMI. The data analysis technique used prerequisite test and paired t test. Based on the results of the cardiorespiratory endurance data analysis, the t-count value was 10.495 with a significance value of 0.000, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of skipping combination with body weight training on cardiorespiratory endurance in overweight adolescents. The mean value of the cardiorespiratory endurance pretest was 34.92 and the posttest average increased to 40.05. While the results of the analysis on BMI data obtained a t-count value of 15.293 with a significance value of 0.000, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of skipping combination with body weight training on BMI in overweight adolescents. The mean value of the BMI pretest was 26.60 and the posttest average BMI decreased to 22.19. So it can be concluded that skipping exercises combined with body weight training can increase cardiorespiratory endurance and reduce BMI as an effort to prevent Covid 19 for overweight adolescents.
