Abstract

Based on the observations of the PKM team, they found several phenomena related to money worthy of circulation and not worthy of circulation in Cibatu Village, one of which is that there are still few parties who care about money worthy of circulation and not circulating to children and the people of Cibatu Purwakarta Village. The second phenomenon is that children who often write on banknotes, either with romantic words or just scribbling numbers or lines, do not know that such actions are categorized as damaging money. The third phenomenon is the limited understanding of the children and the community about money worthy of circulation and not worthy of circulation, damaged and undamaged money. So the purpose of this PKM is to conduct Educational PKM: socialization of money worthy of circulation and not worthy of circulation to children in the Cibatu Purwakarta Village environment. This PKM method uses socialization and discussion. The results of PKM on the socialization of money worthy of circulation and not worthy of circulation to children in the Cibatu Purwakarta village environment get satisfactory results, because the average result of understanding the children of Cibatu Village on money worthy of circulation and not worthy of circulation is 80.19%. Through this PKM activity, it is hoped that it can form a smart, responsible, and caring young generation for the environment, including in terms of money management. Thus, children can contribute positively to the development of Cibatu Purwakarta village.

Abstract

Based on the results of observations, the PKM team found several unique phenomena related to the empowerment of local MSMEs through the use of the Kadumekar night market, one of which is that Kadumekar MSMEs still have difficulty in marketing the products produced, the Kadumekar Night Market is one of the initiatives that can be utilized to empower local MSMEs, the night market is not only a place for economic transactions, but also a means of social and cultural interaction that can strengthen the community, and the Kadumekar night market is a magnet for business actors from various regions. The purpose of this PKM is to socialize the empowerment of local MSMEs through the use of the night market, so as to increase the income of local MSME players. This PKM method uses observation, socialization and discussion, monitoring and evaluation. The conclusion of this PKM is that before the socialization of MSME empowerment through the use of the night market, the average value of respondents was 27.77 (very not understanding), while after the PKM activity the average value of respondents was 83.33 points of understanding criteria. In addition, this PKM MSME actors have understood the use of the night market to increase income, methods to attract night market customers so that the products and services offered are in great demand, have known the benefits of direct interaction with night market customers, have been able to optimize the potential of the night market, have known the promotion strategy at the night market, have known the strategy for choosing the right business location to attract customers and increase sales opportunities, and have known the importance of product branding from product labels to product packaging.

Abstract

Based on the results of observations, the PKM team found several unique phenomena related to the empowerment of waqf land as a medium for local wisdom-based food security in Kadumekar Village, one of which is that public cemetery waqf land is still rarely used for the benefit of the community, the knowledge and behavior of the community who still blame each other regarding the use of waqf land, the harvest from the use of waqf land is used for the benefit of the community and the operation of the waqf manager. The purpose of this PKM is to carry out the empowerment of waqf land as a medium for local wisdom-based food security in Kadumekar Village. This PKM method uses observation, socialization and mentoring, monitoring and evaluation. The conclusion in this PKM is that the level of understanding of PKM partners before the implementation of mentoring activities gets a minimum score of 10/100 and the highest gets a score of 60/100, but after the implementation of mentoring activities gets a minimum score of 60/100, and a maximum score of 100/100. When averaged, the level of understanding of PKM partners has changed from an average score of 25.5 points in the category of very not understanding, changing drastically to 87 points in the category of very understanding. This achievement according to the PKM team is a very significant achievement. In addition, this PKM has a positive impact on the community in the form of understanding the definition of waqf land in detail, food security, the benefits of waqf land, utilization of waqf land based on local wisdom, challenges in utilizing waqf land, opportunities for diversification of waqf land management, waqf land management models, challenges in empowerment and knowing the positive impact of waqf land empowerment.

Abstract

The objective of this PKM is to utilize ecobricks as an alternative building material in the community service program in Kadumekar Village, in order to reduce the amount of plastic waste polluting the environment and provide solutions for village infrastructure development. The PKM method employs observation, socialization, mentoring, monitoring, and evaluation. The conclusion of this PKM is that the level of understanding of respondents or PKM partners before the workshop was conducted had a minimum score of 0/100 and a maximum score of 60/100, but after the workshop was conducted, the minimum score was 60/100, and the maximum score was 100/100. When averaged, the level of understanding of PKM partners changed from an average score of 28.5 (category: very poor understanding) to a drastic increase of 79 points (category: understanding). This achievement, according to the PKM team, is quite significant. The reason it did not reach 100% or 100 points is because the PKM partners wanted to quickly make ecobrick bottles without waiting for the process of inserting plastic waste into the bottles. This is one of the reasons why making ecobrick bottles takes a long time before they can be used. Additionally, this PKM has had a positive impact on the community by helping them understand the concept of Ecobrick, its usage, ensuring the quality of Ecobrick, inserting plastic waste into Ecobrick bottles, the advantages of recycled Ecobrick materials over conventional building materials, applying Ecobrick in daily activities, the benefits of ecobricks, creativity in ecobrick design, the advantages and disadvantages of ecobricks, environmental education benefits through ecobricks, and ecobrick production techniques and tools.
