Abstract

Hypertension is a non-communicable disease often referred to as a "silent killer" because it may develop without noticeable symptoms and can lead to serious complications if left untreated. Elderly individuals are among the high-risk groups who require special attention in efforts to prevent and control hypertension. This community service activity aimed to improve the knowledge of elderly residents regarding hypertension through health education as a preventive measure against further complications. The program was conducted in Parakan Village, Garut Regency, involving 30 elderly participants. The method used was health education combined with pre-test and post-test assessments to evaluate knowledge improvement. The results showed a significant increase in understanding after the session, particularly regarding the symptoms and prevention of hypertension. Another notable finding was that most participants had only elementary-level education, which influenced their receptiveness to health information. In conclusion, health education proved effective in enhancing the elderly's knowledge of hypertension and its potential complications. Periodic follow-up education and collaboration with local health services are recommended to sustain the impact.

Abstract

This study employs machine learning algorithms to estimate the stock performance of Japanese companies in 2022, with a focus on examining the relationship between significant financial factors—Market Capitalization (Market Cap), Price-to-Earnings Ratio (PER), Price-to-Book Value (PBV), Return on Equity (ROE), and Debt-to-Equity Ratio (DER)—and stock performance, classified as either high-performing or low-performing. These factors are designated as independent variables. The dataset comprises 1,000 publicly listed companies in Japan and is analyzed using a logistic regression model. The dependent variable in this study is stock performance. The Akaike Information Criterion (AIC) guided model selection to optimize predictive accuracy and model complexity. The dataset was split into 70% for training and 30% for testing to ensure robust model validation. The best-performing model achieved a prediction accuracy of 62.67%, demonstrating strong sensitivity (88.83%) but weak specificity (18.75%). An AUC value of 0.6226 indicates moderate discriminatory power. The model shows good capability in detecting underperforming stocks, while its limitation lies in classifying well-performing stocks. The study suggests enhancing prediction accuracy by incorporating additional relevant variables such as macroeconomic indicators or market trends, as well as employing more complex machine learning algorithms like Random Forest or Gradient Boosting. These findings not only contribute to the literature on stock market prediction but also offer practical insights for investors in making investment decisions.

Abstract

This thesis is to show and to describe the similarity and difference of the meaning “Tangan” and “ ” between Mandarin and Indonesian language sentences. Using qualitative descriptive research method to describe and analysis the word between Mandarin and Indonesian languages. While research, using documentation technical to collect data in Mandarin and Indonesian both language. Primary data outcome from both language idiom dictionary and books contain those words. While obtaining and summerizing data that is quoted and written from the data in Indonesian and Mandarin, there are 8 types of pragmatic similar meanings in indonesian word “Tangan” and mandarin “ ? ”in two languages, such as brother sisters or family; doing things/job/to shop; to recieve or get; available or expertise in/good in; have a power to do. There are five meanings in indonesian but not available in mandarin, such as to describe me mysel; to take; income; to obey; to influence. There are 5 meanings also in Mandarin but not available in Indonesian, such as to describe easiness, to attack, chance, body and authority.

Abstract

Perikanan tangkap merupakan salah satu sektor penting dalam industri perikanan global. Setiap usaha penangkapan mengharapkan hasil tangkapan yang ideal dengan penggunaan input yang efisien. Penentuan efisiensi teknis dan produktivitas dapat dijadikan indikator pengukuran kinerja alat penangkapan ikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi hasil tangkapan perikanan tangkap jaring insang hanyut (gillnet) di perairan Pelabuhan Perikanan Nusantara Pemangkat. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 32 nelayan kapal yang beroperasi di Pelabuhan Perikanan Nusantara (PPN) Pemangkat dengan metode yang digunakan adalah survei. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan sekunder. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear berganda dengan menggunakan SPSS versi 25. Hasil dari analisis adalah panjang jaring, tinggi jaring, jumlah setting/penurunan jaring, dan jarak tempuh penangkapan ikan berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan hasil tangkapan ikan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menguraikan analisis tumbuh kembang anak selama periode kritis 0-2 tahun, yang dikenal sebagai "periode emas" dalam perkembangan manusia. kami menggunakan pendekatan multidisiplin yang mencakup psikologi perkembangan, nutrisi, lingkungan, dan faktor genetik untuk memahami faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak. metode observasional dan analisis data longitudinal digunakan untuk melacak kemajuan fisik, kognitif, bahasa, dan sosial anak selama periode tersebut. temuan menunjukkan bahwa stimulasi yang kaya dan nutrisi yang memadai berperan penting dalam mendukung perkembangan optimal pada anak usia ini. implikasi praktis dan saran untuk intervensi diberikan untuk membantu orang tua dan penjaga dalam mendukung perkembangan anak mereka selama periode emas ini.

Abstract

Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) is a form of service of higher education institutions to the community carried out by the University of Mataram (Unram). This activity is carried out by providing opportunities for students and lecturers to be directly in the field as a team in a village or a certain location. The general purpose of this KKN activity is to answer the various issues that have been raised above and realize the Peseng Preparatory Village (Wajageseng) into an economically and environmentally sustainable village through the application of green economy principles and community empowerment. Community empowerment through the development and optimization of vacant land is one of the important strategies in increasing the independence and welfare of village communities. Unused vacant land is often ignored and not used effectively, even though the potential is very large to be developed into useful resources. Wajageseng Village, located in Kopang District, Central Lombok Regency, is an example of a village that has great potential in community empowerment through the development of vacant land. In this context, planting seedlings and implementing zero waste are very relevant strategies to improve the welfare of the community and the environment. Planting seedlings can not only increase fruit production, but it can also increase public awareness about the importance of effective and efficient land use. In addition, the implementation of zero waste can help reduce waste and improve environmental quality, so that people can live more balanced and sustainable. The purpose of this activity is to increase public awareness of the importance of environmental management, improve the quality of life of the community through the development and optimization of vacant land, as well as reduce the volume of waste produced by the community. This activity lasted for 52 days, from July 2nd to August 22nd. Involving students and the local community so that this program runs smoothly. Planting 300 seedlings on vacant land and making 5 garbage bins with location placement, namely 3 at the village office, 1 at the head of the hamlet, and 1 at the health center.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan guna mengetahui apakah variabel Harga dan variabel Kepercayaan memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap variabel Keputusan Pembelian pada marketplace Tokopedia. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkn melalui survey dengan mengirimkan kuesioner secara online kepada pengguna aktif Tokopedia, dan sampel sebanyk 100 responden yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling yang dimana mereka merupakan pengguna aktif Tokopedia. Variabel bebas yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Harga (X1), Kepercayaan (X2) dan variabel terikatnya yaitu Keputusan Pembelian (Y). Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis linier dalam perangkat lunak SPSS, dan hasil dari analisis linier berganda menghasilkan persamaan yaitu Y= 0,413X1 + 0,053X2. Hasil penelitian secara uji parsial yaitu menunjukan variabel Harga (X1) Berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Keputusan Pembelian (Y), sementara variabel Kepercayaan (X2) tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap Keputusan Pembelian (Y). Menurut uji simultan variabel Harga (X1) dan Kepercayaan (X2) secara bersamaan memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap  Keputusan Pembelian (Y) di marketplace Tokopedia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan guna mengetahui dampak positif dan signifikan baik secara parsial maupun secara simultan dari variable Kepercayaan, Brand Ambassador, Kualitas Layanan, dan Harga terhadap Keputusan Pembelian di platform Tokopedia Indonesia. Metode kuantitatif ialah metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini. Data dikumpulkan melalui survei dengan mengirimkan kuesioner secara online kepada pengguna aktif Tokopedia Indonesia yang telah melalui uji validitas serta uji reliabilitas. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari 100 responden yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, yaitu kepada mereka para pengguna aktif Tokopedia. Variabel bebas yang diteliti meliputi Kepercayaan (X1), Brand Ambassador (X2), Kualitas Layanan (X3) dan Harga (X4), sedangkan variabel terikatnya ialah Keputusan Pembelian (Y). Analisis penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda menggunakan perangkat lunak SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kepercayaan dan Brand Ambassador tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap Keputusan Pembelian di Tokopedia Indonesia, sementara Kualitas Layanan dan Harga memiliki dampak yang signifikan terhadap Keputusan Pembelian di platform tersebut.

Abstract

Shopping center is one of the densest areas of human activity, so that the gathering of humans can cause transmission of microorganisms that cause air borne disease. This research was conducted to find out the various types of air pollutant bacteria and fungi on the 2nd Floor of One of the Shopping Center Areas in Pangkal Pinang City. This research was conducted experimentally using Nutrien Agar and Potato Dextrose Agar media for enumeration of bacteria and fungi. Identification of bacteria and fungi was carried out macroscopically, microscopically and biochemically. The results of this study showed that there were 9 bacterial isolates and 4 fungal isolates. The genus of bacteria found is Bacillus sp. Staphylococcus sp. and Nitrobacter sp. As for the genus of fungi found, among others, namely Aspergillus sp. The total bacteria and fungi present in the air in the shopping center have not exceeded the quality standards that have been set, so that it can be said that the air in one of the Pangkal Pinang City Shopping Centers is still healthy

Abstract

Breast milk is the best and main food for the growth and development of a baby until 6 months old. The results of a global study prove that exclusive breastfeeding reduces deaths due to infection by 88% in infants aged less than 3 months. To increase the use of exclusive breastfeeding, acquainting oneself with the concept of early initiation of breastfeeding (EIBF) is necessary. It is considered to have a broad impact on the nutritional status and health of toddlers. The purposes of this community service are to increase the knowledge and understanding of pregnant women about exclusive breastfeeding, EIBF, breastfeeding techniques, and practical breastfeeding in an effort to increase the use of exclusive breastfeeding. The method used was giving education through the lecture method, discussions, demonstrations, and radio broadcasts. This activity targeted pregnant women in their third trimester in Singkawang City.The results of this society's devotion were an average improvement in mothers’ knowledge of Exclusive Breastfeeding from 69.67 to 88.67 after the implementation of the activity, as well as the mother’s interest in implementing IMD and giving Exclusive Breastfeeding. Therefore, it is expected to increase the achievement of the Exclusive Breastfeeding program.
