Abstract

The study was conducted in the Bono Bay Area of ​​Meranti Bay, Pelalawan Regency. The aim is to find out the direct effect of the Marketing Mix on Tourist Satisfaction and Loyalty. This study took a sample of 145 people. The variables used are the dimensions of Marketing Mix, Tourist Satisfaction and Loyalty. Data were analyzed using SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) analysis which is operated through the SmartPLS 3.2.8 program The results showed that partially there was an effect of Product, Price, Place, Promotion, People, Process, Psychical evidence on Tourist Satisfaction. and there is the influence of tourist satisfaction on tourist loyalty. The higher the satisfaction that is owned by consumers, the loyalty of tourists is increasing.

Abstract

This study aims to produce mobile learning media using the Smart Apps Creator and to determine the effectiveness of these media in increasing student interest in learning. The 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate) is used in the research and development process for this project. This research is limited to the development phase. The participants in this research were XI IPS SMA PGRI Pekanbaru students. Data was obtained based on interviews and questionnaires. Based on the substantiation of media and content specialists, the research findings indicate that the use of mobile learning media created by smart apps creator is feasible, with 87% of the categories being very appropriate according to media experts and 83% of the categories being very appropriate based on subject matter experts. Paired sample t-test obtained differences and positive increases in student learning interest before and after using smart apps creator-based mobile learning media, so the media is said to be effective. The use of media received a good response from students; 64.5% consider mobile learning media using smart app creators to be very practical and helpful in learning, while the remaining 35.5% consider it practical. This research is limited to APBN and APBD material and is only carried out until the development stage.

Abstract

Artikel ini menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas strategi pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa.  Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian yaitu metode eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest-postest. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Islam As-Shofa Pekanbaru. Penelitian melibatkan dua puluh empat siswa kelas VII SMP Islam As-Shofa Pekanbaru, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel Purposive Sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu, tes, observasi dan wawancara. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah soal pilihan ganda. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik tes yang dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji sample paired t-test dan uji-t. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Strategi TGT efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII SMP Islam As- Shofa Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis; 1) kontibusi konsep diri terhadap Komitmen kerja guru Mts Kecamatan Bagan Sinembah, Rokan Hilir. 2) kontribusi kecerdasan emosional terhadap Komitmen kerja guru Mts Kecamatan Bagan Sinembah, Rokan Hilir. 3) kontribusi konsep diri dan kecerdasan emosional secara bersama-sama terhadap Komitmen kerja guru Mts Kecamatan Bagan Sinembah, Rokan Hilir. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian ex post facto. Penelitian ini, menguji tiga variabel yang akan diteliti untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh variabel independen dan dependen. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah 120 guru dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 93 orang guru Mts Kecamatan Bagan Sinembah, Rokan Hilir. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa; 1) kontribusi positif dan signifikan konsep diri terhadap Komitmen kerja guru Mts Kecamatan Bagan Sinembah, Rokan Hilir; 2) kontribusi positif dan signifikan kecerdasan emosional terhadap Komitmen kerja guru Mts Kecamatan Bagan Sinembah, Rokan Hilir; dan 3) diperoleh kontribusi positif dan signifikan antara konsep diri dan kecerdasan emosional secara bersama-sama terhadap Komitmen kerja guru Mts Kecamatan Bagan Sinembah, Rokan Hilir.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh budaya organisasi dan kecerdasan sosial terhadap kepuasan kerja guru SMP N Kecamatan Balai Jaya Kabupaten Rokan Hilir. Latar belakang permasalahan pada penelitian ini yaitu guru belum merasakan kepuasan kerja yang optimal, dilihat dari kurangnya keyakinan guru akan kemampuannya dalam menyelesaikan tugas tertentu, kurangnya keyakinan guru bahwa ia mampu melakukan tindakan yang diperlukan, minimnya kemauan guru untuk berusaha dengan keras dalam menghadapi pekerjaan, guru sulit bertahan menghadapi hambatan dalam pekerjaan dan kurang tanggapnya guru untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan diberbagai situasi, dalam penelitian ini, dianalisis dengan menghubungkan iklim organisasi dan kecerdasan sosial. Jenis kuantitatif, Sampel 62 orang guru. Data dikumpulkan dengan angket menetapkan lima pilihan dan dilanjutkan data dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil penelitian diketahui pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan budaya organisasi terhadap kepuasan kerja dan diperoleh pengaruh positif dan signifikan kecerdasan sosial terhadap kepuasan kerja. Selain itu, terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan budaya organisasi dan kecerdasan sosial terhadap kepuasan kerja guru SMP N Kecamatan Balai Jaya Kabupaten Rokan Hilir. Temuan ini menyimpulkan bahwa semakin baik budaya organisasi dan kecerdasan sosial, maka akan semakin baik kepuasan kerja. Penelitian ini diharapkan berguna untuk perbaikan kepuasan kerja guru dengan budaya organisasi dan kecerdasan sosial dalam melaksanakan kewajibannya ketika melakukan kegiatan pembelajaran dan membina peserta didik di sekolah.

Abstract

The phenomenon of unsatifying education has caused pessimism within society, even some believe that ecucation can no longer guarantee a better future for children so the education institutions must be aware of their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats within the institutions which are expected to generate brilliant strategies for the development of the education quality. This research aims to analyze the strategies to improve the quality of education at SDN 008 Tembilahan Hulu, Indragiri Hilir Regency. This research is designed as a qualitative research using survey method in which the data collected are literature study, observation, documents, and interview. The population of this reseach are the entire school community members, but because of the reseach limitation, purposive sampling is chosen so the subject of the reseach are the principal, teachers and staffs, as well as the students’ parents education.. The researh findings are strategies to improve the quality of education as follows: 1) Empowering teachers to use information technology in the teaching and learning process. 2) Enhancing collaboration with external instructors or trainers to support extracurricular activities. 3) Intensifying supervision and monitoring activities by the school principal. 4) Making the Teacher Working Group (KKG) more effective in solving problems encountered by teachers in the teaching and learning process. 5) Developing educational facilities and infrastructure. 6) Transforming the school environment into a learning community through the 7K program (Cleanliness, Orderliness, Beauty, Comfort, Safety, Security, and a Sense of Belonging). 7) Empowering teachers through training programs to improve their performance. 8) Developing ICT-based school facilities for learning. 9) Establishing achievement clubs to develop students' potential. 10) Forming a School Program Evaluation Team. These strategies are expected to maintain, even to improve the educational quality and services at SDN 008 Tembilahan Hulu, Kabupaten Indraguru Hilir.

Abstract

The weak critical thinking skills of students today encourage educators to seek other ways to attract students' interest in learning. One solution is to develop PBL-based LKPD. Therefore, the present study aims to (1) develop PBL-based LKPD, (2) analyze the effectiveness of the developed PBL-based LKPD, and (3) determine the practicality of PBL-based LKPD. This study is a Research and Development (R&D) research using the 4D model (Define, Design, and Disseminate). The effectiveness of the LKPD, which was developed based on the independent sample t-test test, obtained a sig. value 0.001 < 0.05, which means that there is a significant difference between the test results of the experimental class students and the test results of the control class students. Furthermore, based on the N-Gain score test results in the experimental class using PBL-based LKPD, there was 0.71 with high criteria while the control class using conventional LKPD obtained 0.30 results with low criteria. The practicality of the LKPD developed was assessed based on the teacher's response with an average percentage score of 90% in the very practical category and student responses with an average percentage score of 88.48% in the very practical category. Hence, the use of LKPD is considered effective in improving students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This study was aimed to determine the effect of (1) pedagogic competence on entrepreneurship character of MAN 1 Pekanbaru students, (2) family environment to entrepreneurship character of MAN 1 Pekanbaru students, and (3) jointly pedagogic competence and family environment on student entrepreneurship character MAN 1 Pekanbaru. This research is descriptive research with quantitative approach. The population in this study was 118 students in MAN 1 Pekanbaru academic year 2017-2018, with a sample of 91 students. Sampling using Probability Sampling technique with simple random sampling type. Data collection techniques used is questionnaires. The prerequisite analysis test includes normality test, linearity test, multicolinearity test, and heteroscedasticity test. Data analysis technique with F test and T test.The result of this research shows that (1) there are positive and significant influence of Pedagogic Competence on Entrepreneurship Character of MAN 1 Pekanbaru students with t arithmetic (1,718) bigger than t table that is (1,671) and significance value less than 0,05 0,002, by 41.80%. (2) there is positive and significant influence of Family Environment on Student Entrepreneurship Character MAN 1 Pekanbaru with t count (1,767) bigger than t table (1,671) and its significance value less than 0,05 0.000, while its influence equal to 56,80% and together (3) there is a positive and significant influence Pedagogic and Family Environment Competence on Student Entrepreneur Character MAN 1 Pekanbaru with F arithmetic (15,530) is bigger than F table (3,110) and its significance value smaller than 0,05 i.e. 0,000 . The major contribution of Pedagogical and Family Environment Competencies simultaneously on Entrepreneurship Character is 24.4%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Numbered Head Together (NHT) type of cooperative learning model assisted with teaching materials in improving student learning outcomes in social studies subjects at State Junior High School (SMPN) 4 Pekanbaru. The sampling technique using cluster random sampling techniques, namely class VII.3 as the experimental class, and VII.4 as the control class. Data were analyzed using randomized control group pretest-posttest design through the results of the T Test (Different Test). Based on the results of the study showed the results of pre-test 73.95 and post-test of 85.19 with a difference of 11.24. In the pre-test control class was 73.84 and the post-test results were 79.78 with a difference of 5.94. From the results of this difference can be seen that there is an increase in learning outcomes, especially in the experimental class where there are differences in completeness of learning outcomes between the control class and the experimental class. This is also supported by students' learning attitudes in the experimental class (VII.3) which are categorized as "good" (68%) in the learning process. Whereas in the control class, students have the category "quite good" (45.94%) in being following the learning process. The level of learning effectiveness is 5.30. Overall it can be concluded that the NHT learning model is assisted with effective teaching materials significantly in improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Students who cannot manage their learning independently other than in class will have an impact on their learning in class. Problems related to student self-regulated learning can be seen in the presence of students who forget to deliver assignments and students who have never reviewed the economics subject matter that has been taught. Based on preliminary observations, it is known that in MAN 3 Pekanbaru City there is no learning media that can support students to carry out self-regulated learning. Learning media that is only guided by textbooks is currently one of the learning methods that are not very effective for increasing self-regulated learning. This study aims to produce a valid and practical website-based learning media in economics subject at MAN 3 Pekanbaru so that it can effectively improve students' self-regulated learning. The development of website-based learning media is carried out using a 4-D model, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. Data analysis was carried out descriptively and tested the effectiveness using paired sample t-test. The results of this study found that (1) the development of website-based learning media on material needs and scarcity was carried out using the 4-D model, namely (a) the defining stage (define) by conducting preliminary analysis, student analysis, task analysis, concept analysis, and analysis learning objectives; (b) the design stage by making flowcharts and storyboards and product design; (c) the development stage by validating two material experts and two media experts, then conducting a limited trial of 30 students and a wide-scale test on 36 class X students at MAN 3 Pekanbaru; (2) The validation rate of Website-based learning media in economics subjects at MAN 3 Pekanbaru is around 80% - 85%, which means that website-based learning media is very feasible and has very high validity; (3) the level of practicality of developing web-based learning media in economics subjects at MAN 3 Pekanbaru, namely teacher responses: very practical (88.67%), and student responses: very practical (87.90%); (4) the application of website-based learning media in economics subjects at MAN 3 Pekanbaru is effective in increasing student self-regulated learning
