Abstract

Social development is a critical aspect of early childhood growth. This study aims to analyse the social development of children aged 5–6 years and the supporting and inhibiting factors from the perspective of multicultural education. The research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through interviews with teachers, classroom observations in early childhood education (PAUD), and documentation. The data analysis process focused on three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing or verification. The findings revealed that the social development of 2 out of 6 children aged 5–6 years was categorized as Developing as Expected (BSH), while the other 4 children were in the Beginning to Develop (MB) category. Children’s social competencies are interrelated; weaknesses in one social competency can influence others. Inhibiting factors in the implementation of education include parents, children, and teachers, while supporting factors involve parents, peers, and teachers. Thus, multicultural education plays a strategic role in optimizing the social development of early childhood learners.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the role of teachers in cultivating the character of diligent worship in early childhood at PAUD Tunas Harapan, Sukorejo village, Puhpelem subdistrict, Wonogiri district. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection using observation, interviews and documentation methods. The research results show that the formation of the character of diligent worship in early childhood cannot be separated from the role of the teacher, including: 1. The role of the teacher as a facilitator, namely the teacher provides an example as an example, namely the teacher arrives on time, the teacher gives an example when praying with good etiquette, provides an example in carrying out learning activities from start to finish. 2. The teacher acts as an inspirer, a teacher must be able to raise the enthusiasm of students by telling the story of Rosululloh and his companions to inspire students. 3. The teacher acts as a motivator, namely providing motivation to appreciate students who complete assignments well, giving rewards to children who excel, giving gifts and words of praise so that children are motivated to be enthusiastic about learning. 4. The teacher as a dynamist, namely the teacher has a view and attempts to build the character of students and has high creativity in finding a solution to every problem faced by students. 5. Teacher as evaluators have a role as people who carry out evaluations in learning at school. Evaluation in learning has an important role so that teachers know to what extent students have understood what the teacher/teacher has conveyed. Of the several roles teachers have carried out, the aim is to shape students at PAUD Tunas Harapan, Sukorejo village, Puhpelem sub-district into children who are diligent in worshiping, such as being accustomed to praying before doing assignments in class, accustomed to praying before and after eating, willing to learn to pray with joy, learning to perform ablution happily, accustomed to  coming to the mosque, willing to learn to memorize short letters happily and knowing the letters. hijaiyah with pleasure. All of this is instilled or developed as early as possible in early childhood because these are the fundamental religious teachings of every individual, community, nation and state's life.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi penerapan play-based learning dalam menstimulasi keterampilan sosial anak usia dini di Pocenter, Ponorogo. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa play-based learning efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan sosial anak, seperti kemampuan berkomunikasi, kerja sama, berbagi, pengelolaan emosi, dan penyelesaian konflik. Anak-anak yang terlibat dalam aktivitas bermain menunjukkan interaksi sosial yang lebih aktif dan adaptif. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa play-based learning merupakan pendekatan yang signifikan dalam mendukung perkembangan keterampilan sosial anak usia dini, terutama dalam konteks pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan interaktif.

Abstract

Early childhood education (PAUD) is very important in laying the foundation for children's growth and development in this era of globalization and technological progress. The "fun learning" method or also called enjoyable learning is one strategy that can be used to foster a more positive interest in learning among children. This research aims to describe the implementation of fun learning in the Merdeka Curriculum cooking class activities at Pocenter. By using descriptive techniques, researchers can describe or explain events based on field facts. This is related to the problem studied, namely the use of fun learning in the independent curriculum cooking class activities at Pocenter. The research subjects were teachers and children who took part in fun learning activities in the Pocenter culinary class. Researchers in this study used a direct observation strategy as an instrument and data collection method, namely seeing subjects in their natural state. The research results show that cooking classes can develop fine motor skills through cutting, squeezing, forming and molding movements. Young people can gain skills in creativity, safety and hygiene. Be able to explain the various types of vegetables and the importance of consuming them every day.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan aspek penting dalam kehidupan manusia. Salah satu faktor penentu maju atau tidaknya pendidikan terletak pada pendidiknya. Meskipun demikian, terdapat problematika yang mereka alami seperti kesejahteraan ekonomi. Di Indonesia, masih dijumpai pendidik PAUD yang mendapatkan gaji kurang layak. Edupreneurship merupakan kegiatan kewirausahaan yang dilakukan oleh pendidik maupun orang yang berada di lingkup pendidikan guna menghasilkan keuntungan. Penelitian ini menjelaskan aktualisasi edupreneurship sebagai pilihan solusi dari permasalahan tersebut. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah meta analysis. Melalui metode ini, peneliti mengumpulkan data maupun informasi yang relevan dari berbagai sumber pustaka serta jurnal kemudian dianalisis dan disimpulkan secara naratif. Adapun hasil dari analisis ini memaparkan keefektifan edupreneurship berbasis 3R (reduce, reuse, dan recycle) melalui kegiatan mengolah dan memasarkan produk dari sampah yang bernilai edukatif. Berdasarkan sumber data yang diperoleh, kesimpulannya ialah kegiatan edupreneurship berbasis 3R dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu solusi efektif dalam mengatasi permasalahan tersebut

Abstract

This research explores the implementation of project-based learning at Dharma Wanita Demangan Kindergarten to cultivate the Pancasila student profile, specifically focusing on instilling mutual cooperation from an early age. The study posits that such learning strengthens positive social character through immersive experiences, potentially shaping children's future social interactions. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, data was collected via observations of the principal, a teacher, and student learning, alongside interviews and documentation of the teaching process. The analysis involved data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. Findings indicate that the Market Day project was successfully implemented and fostered elements of mutual cooperation among children. This success was attributed to student enthusiasm, parental support, and the teacher's creative teaching methods. However, the study also identified the dominance of certain children as a challenge requiring teacher intervention to ensure equitable participation.Ultimately, this research contributes to understanding the practical application of project-based learning in early childhood education to enhance the Pancasila student profile, particularly in nurturing mutual cooperation. It also highlights key factors influencing the effectiveness of such initiatives.

Abstract

Ship procurement for shipping companies is a strategic and costly decision that requires careful consideration. The limited availability of secondhand container ships meeting the criteria forces companies to adjust the quality of purchased ships. This study employs the Pairwise Comparison (PC), Benefit-Cost Analysis (CBA), and Lean Administration methods to evaluate ship criteria, financial impacts, and acquisition process efficiency. PC assesses ship selection criteria from various stakeholder perspectives, while Lean Administration analyzes the acquisition process using Value Stream Mapping (VSM). CBA includes NPV, IRR, BCR, ROI, and PP to measure investment feasibility. Results show that ships with superior specifications are the top priority (49%), followed by payload (31%) and price (20%). Fuel consumption is the dominant sub-criterion under ship specifications, with a weight of 42%. Acquisition process analysis reveals that only 45% of the time adds value, while the rest is wasted, inflating acquisition costs by up to 10% of the ship's price. Although all ships show positive investment indicators, some parameters fall short of expectations, reducing profit margins. The assessment of ship conditions does not always reflect their economic value or acquisition efficiency due to the complexity of interrelated factors. Structured planning involving multiple perspectives is key to improving decision-making quality amid complex and suboptimal conditions in ship procurement.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of parents in supporting the development of discipline and responsibility character in early childhood, as well as to present the outcomes of children's behavior shaped through such habituation. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design involving 10 children aged 5–6 years at TK Dharma Wanita Bringinan and their parents. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The findings reveal that parents play a significant role in fostering discipline and responsibility in young children through three main aspects: habitual routines, role modeling, and positive communication. Children who are consistently exposed to disciplined routines at home demonstrate orderly behavior at school, such as organizing stationery, completing tasks on time, and respecting classroom rules. Responsibility is also reflected in behaviors such as taking care of personal belongings, helping the teacher, and admitting mistakes. This success is supported by active parental involvement and collaboration with teachers.Thus, the role of parents is not only as supporters but also as the primary foundation in shaping children to become disciplined, responsible, and prepared to face future challenges

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Dual Coding Method to stimulate the memory of early childhood students at TK Aisyiyah Ngebel. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings reveal that the Dual Coding Method for stimulating memory in young children at TK Aisyiyah Ngebel consists of three main stages: planning, execution, and evaluation. During the planning stage, teachers design learning materials that integrate both text and images. In the execution stage, teachers engage in active interaction with the children to discuss and visualize concepts, enhancing their understanding and retention. The evaluation stage focuses on assessing the children's memory stimulation. The results indicate that the Dual Coding Method is effective in stimulating memory in early childhood students. Children's memory abilities are shown to be strong, as evidenced by their attentiveness, ability to retain material presented by the teacher, and recall of the provided information. This method has successfully facilitated better memory retention among the young learners. The study concludes that the Dual Coding Method is a beneficial approach for enhancing memory in early childhood education, supporting children in paying close attention, retaining, and recalling the information learned.

Abstract

ABSTRAKKegiatan kolase dengan bahan alam daun kering adalah kegiatan yang mudah dilakukan. Hal ini memungkinkan jika anak-anak melatih otot tangan menempelkan daun kering pada pola. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan memperoleh hasil kegiatan kolase dengan bahan alam untuk menstimulasi kemampuan motorik halus anak usia dini. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan mengumpulkan data dan informasi dengan cara wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi dengan subjek guru-guru di Pocenter tersebut. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan di pocenter kemampuan motorik halus anak usia dini dengan kegiatan kolase dengan bahan alam berjalan dengan baik. Kegiatan ini menjadikan anak-anak aktif dan melakukan sesuai dengan kemampuan anak.  Respon dari anak-anak yang ada di Pocenter juga sangat baik, anak-anak antusias saat pelajaran anak dimulai. Kegiatan ini tidak membuat anak-anak merasa bosan dan jenuh, jadi kegiatan bermain kolase dengan bahan alam pada anak usia dini di sekolah Pocenter berjalan dengan maksimal dan dapat menstimulasi kemampuan motorik halus.Kata Kunci: Kolase bahan alam, motorik halus, anak usia dini
