Abstract

Study purpose. This study aims to analyze sports participation among elementary school students in Karanganyar Regency, with a focus on comparing participation patterns between rural and urban areas. Materials and methods. A descriptive quantitative approach was employed, involving a sample of 180 students from six schools—three in rural areas and three in urban settings—spread across three districts in Karanganyar. Data collection utilized observation, questionnaires, and interviews, with the Sport Development Index (SDI) based on the 2007 SDI KK - OIR 2006 version and an adapted Physical Literacy Knowledge Questionnaire (PLKQ) as instruments. Data analysis was conducted using the SDI to examine the dimension of sports participation, with Microsoft Excel as the analysis tool. The participation index for elementary school students was 0.622, reflecting an average level of sports engagement across the sample. Results. According to the SDI norms, this indicates that weekly sports involvement among students falls within the moderate category. The findings highlight the need for targeted interventions to address disparities in sports participation, particularly between rural and urban areas. Conclusions. Overall, the sports participation of elementary school students in Karanganyar Regency shows that, according to the Sports Development Index (SDI) norms, their participation is included in the moderate category.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui sistematikaprogram latihan kondisi fisik atlet PPLOP Bulutangkis Jawa Tengahdengan menerapkan prinsip-prinsip latihan. Adapun jenis prinsipprinsiplatihan tersebut yaitu prinsip individual, prinsip spesifikasi,prinsip overload, prinsip progresif, prinsip reversibility, dan prinsiprecovery.Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalahpenelitian evaluasi program, yang bertujuan untuk melihat apakahprogram dirancang, dilaksanakan, dan bermanfaat bagi pihak-pihakyang terlibat dalam program. Pada pelaksanaannya evaluasi programbermaksud mencari informasi sebanyak mungkin untuk mendapatkangambaran rancangan dan pelaksanaan program. Pendekatan yangdigunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dandidukung dengan penekatan kuantitatif. Subyek dalam penelitian iniadalah atlet dan pelatih PPLOP Bulutangkis Jawa Tengah yang terdiridari 2 pelatih dan 4 atlet putra dan 4 atlet putri.Hasil penelitian dari Studi Evaluasi Latihan Kondisi Fisik pada AtletBulutangkis Pemusatan Pendidikan dan Latihan Olah Raga Pelajar(PPLOP) Jawa Tengah Tahun 2017/2018 ini adalah : Pertama, hasilwawancara pada atlet dan pelatih menunjukkan bahwa untuk prinsiprecovery pada saat latihan dan selesai latihan kurang diperhatikan.Sehingga yang terjadi adalah tingkat kelelahan pada atlet belumsepenuhnya pulih dan mengakibatkan hasil latihan kurang maksimal.Kedua, hasil observasi pada atlet dan pelatih menunjukkan bahwasecara garis besar program latihan yang diterapkn pada PPLOPBulutangkis Jawa Tengah masuk pada kreteria baik yaitu 81,83% inimerupakan perolehan hasil dari angket observasi pelatih dan atlet.Akan tetapi pada tabel observasi atlet dan pelatih menunjukan bahwapada prinsip recovery dan overload menunjukan nilai yang masihdalam kreteria rendah yaitu untuk overload 73.75% dan untukrecovery 71.66 %, sehingga untuk prinsip overload dan recovery padaprogram latihan di PPLOP Bulutangkis harus mendapatkanperbaikan, agar kondisi fisik atlet dapat mencapai pada tingkat yangmaksimal yang akan berdampak pada prestasi atlet tersebut. Darihasil data yang diperoleh melalui wawancara dan observasi padapelatih dan atlet PPLOP Bulutangkis Jawa Tengah Tahun 2017/2018,maka peneliti melakukan perbaikan pelaksanaan program latihankondisi fisik dengan berdasarkan pada prinsip-prinsip latihan. Abstract

Background: Cancer is one of the health problems throughout the world, the increasing mortality rate due to breast cancer is one of them because it is detected at an advanced stage. In 2018 breast cancer was at the top of the list impacting 2,088,849 (11.6%) world women every year and with an incidence of death of 626,679 (6.6%) cases. One category of intervention to improve the quality of life of breast cancer survivors that has developed in recent years is by means of aerobic exercise. This study aims to estimate the magnitude of the effect of aerobic exercise on the quality of life of breast cancer survivors.Subjects and Method: This study was a meta-analysis study with PICO as follows P = breast cancer survivors. I= aerobic exercise. C= no intervention. O= quality of life. The articles used in this study were obtained from several databases, namely PubMed, Science Direct, and Google Scholar. This article was collected for 2 months. The keywords to search for articles were as follows: “breast cancer” OR “ca mammae” OR “carcinoma mammae” OR “mammae cancer”AND aerobic OR “aerobic exercise” AND “quality of life” OR “QOL” AND “RCT” OR “randomized control trial” OR “cluster-randomized control trial”. The articles included in this study are full text articles with a Randomized Controlled Trial study design. Articles were analyzed using the Review Manager 5.3 application. The results of the meta-analysis are reported using the PRISMA flow diagram.Results: There are 9 articles that have been analyzed from California, America, Iran, Kosovo, Spain, England, Canada, Germany, and the Netherlands. Studies show that aerobic exercise intervention improves the quality of life of breast cancer survivors SMD= 0.14; 95% CI= -0.23 to 0.51), and the results were not statistically significant (p= 0.460).Conclusion: Aerobic exercise improves the quality of life of breast cancer survivors. Abstract

Background: Low Back Pain is the pain that is felt from the lower back area to the lower buttocks crease area (Gluteal inferior fold). One of the causes of Low Back Pain is a prolonged and excessive use of high heels. This study aims to analyze and estimate the effect of the use of high heels on Low Back Pain in sales promotion girls. Subjects and Method: Meta-analyses were carried out according to the PICO model. Population: female sales promotion employee. Intervention: Wearing High Heels. Comparison: Not using High Heels. Outcome: Low Back Pain. The article search in this study was conducted through databases that included PubMed, Google Schoolar, ScienceDirect. The keywords included: "Low Back Pain" AND "Low Back Pain" AND "High Heels" AND "Low Back Pain" "Employee sales" AND "High Heels" "Sales Low Back Pain" (aOR) "Employee sales" And "Employe sales" "Low Back Pain" AND "High Heels" AND "Employe sales", "High Heels AND High Heels" "Low Back pain Employee Sales" AND "High Heels". Full-paper articles with cross-sectional study design. The subjects of the study were users of high heels toward low back pain, the measure of association used was the adjusted odd ratio. The article selection used was PRISMA flow diagram. The analysis was performed using Revman 5.3 Results: A meta-analyss included 10 cross-sectional studies from Africa and Asia. Prolonged use of high heels increased the risk of low back pain in female sales promotion employee (aOR= 1.41; 95% CI= 1.16 to 1.171 p=0.001). Conclusion: Female sales promotion employee who wear high heels have a higher risk of experiencing low back pain. Keywords: sales promotion girl, high heels, low back pain. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara status gizi dengan kebugaran jasmani atlet taekwondo remaja. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross sectional dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 30 atlet taekwondo remaja, sampel diambil menggunakan metode secara acak sederhana yaitu simple random sampling. Pengumpulan data meliputi status gizi dengan cara pengambilan data antropometri berat badan dan tinggi badan, kebugaran jasmani dengan menggunakan tes lari MFT (multistage fitness). Analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis univariat dan bivariat menggunakan uji korelasi pearson product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan antara status gizi dengan kebugaran jasmani (p= 0,028). Nilai R sebesar -0,401 menunjukkan kekuatan hubungan yang sedang, nilai negatif menunjukkan hubungan yang terbalik pada variabel. Status gizi lebih maka kebugaran jasmani menurun. status gizi berhubungan dengan kebugaran jasmani. Atlet yang memiliki status gizi yang baik cenderung memiliki kebugaran jasmani yang baik pula. Perlu dilakukan penambahan informasi terkait gizi pada atlet sehingga terciptanya status gizi baik serta kebugaran jasmani yang baik pada atlet.

Abstract

Kelompok senam lanjut usia (lansia) Sehat Bugar Ceria di Kabupaten Karanganyar telah rutin mengadakan kegiatan senam. Namun, jenis latihan yang dilakukan lebih sering berupa latihan kebugaran aerobik. Jenis latihan yang belum bervariasi dan belum adanya pengetahuan tentang jenis olahraga permainan yang dapat dilakukan oleh lansia menjadi masalah yang dihadapi. Salah satu jenis olahraga yang aman dan menyehatkan untuk lansia adalah Petanque. Olahraga ini relatif baru di Indonesia. Olahraga ini merupakan jenis olahraga rekreasi dan kesehatan. Sesuai dengan rekomendasi dari badan kesehatan dunia dan Kementerian Kesehatan Indonesia bahwa olahraga atau aktivitas fisik sangat diperlukan untuk meningkatkan kebugaran dan daya ingat. Kebugaran fisik merupakan salah satu indikator kesehatan dan prediksi morbiditas dan mortalitas. Oleh karena itu olahraga Petanque yang berpengaruh terhadap kebugaran aerobik dan dapat melatih kekuatan, fokus, serta daya ingat perlu dikenalkan kepada kelompok lansia. Kegiatan pengabdian ini menggunakan metode service learning yang terdiri dari tahap edukasi materi dan praktek keterampilan. Hasil pelatihan ini didapatkan pengetahuan kelompok lansia tentang teknik dasar dan peraturan cabang olahraga Petanque meningkat (p=0,004) dan para lansia mampu melakukan gerakan teknik dasar sesuai dengan kelompok usia

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui keterkaitan dan implementasi pendidikan jasmani dalam International Primary Curriculum (IPC) sebagai salah satu kurikulum internasional. IPC adalah kurikulum yang komprehensif, tematik, dinamis dan berwawasan global. Pelaksanaan kurikulum terstruktur dan terencana memungkinkan siswa untuk beradaptasi dengan tantangan global di masa mendatang. Metode penelitian adalah metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian, pelaksanaan pendidikan jasmani di IPC telah ditentukan oleh sekolah melalui data dengan pemutakhiran terbaru. Tema yang dipilih kemudian disesuaikan dengan tujuan sekolah, budaya lokal, kebutuhan siswa. Kesimpulannya adalah IPC sangat dinamis sehingga dapat diselaraskan untuk mencapai tujuan sekolah yang ingin dicapai dengan menyesuaikan budaya budaya lokal, kondisi siswa dan sekolah. AbstractThe purpose of this research is determine relationship and implementation of physical education in International Primary Curriculum (IPC) as an international curriculum. IPC is comprehensive, thematic, dynamic and global-minded curriculum. The implementation of a structured and planned curriculum allows students to adapt to global challenges in the future. The research method is descriptive qualitative research. As a result, implementation of physical education in IPC has been determined by school through the latest update data. The choosen theme is then adjusted to school goals, local culture, student needs. The conclusion is that IPC is very dynamic so that it can be harmonized to achieve the school goals by adjusting the culture of the local culture, conditions of students and schools.

Abstract

This study explores the pro-poor orientation of Participatory Budgeting (PB) in Surakarta, Indonesia, with a focus on its effectiveness in enhancing socioeconomic conditions for impoverished and marginalized groups. Using a qualitative methodology involving observations, legal document analysis, and interviews with underprivileged citizens and key stakeholders, the research seeks to address two core questions: To what extent is PB in Surakarta truly pro-poor, and what key challenges hinder its role in poverty alleviation? Findings indicate that Surakarta’s PB system has made notable strides in inclusivity, prioritizing budget allocations that enhance access to essential services like healthcare and education for disadvantaged communities. Additionally, the village-delegated budget system empowers local residents to address specific needs, supporting efforts to improve quality of life. However, persistent challenges remain; despite PB’s inclusive design and community participation, poverty rates have seen limited reduction. This study underscores the need for an increased delegated budget alongside strengthened social accountability mechanisms and enhanced community empowerment programs to achieve sustainable poverty alleviation. These findings contribute valuable insights into the dynamics of pro-poor governance and highlight critical areas for strengthening participatory frameworks in Indonesia’s local governance. Studi ini mengeksplorasi pelaksanaan Musyawarah Perencanaan Pembangunan (Musrenbang) di Surakarta, Indonesia, dengan fokus pada efektivitasnya dalam meningkatkan kondisi sosial-ekonomi bagi kelompok masyarakat miskin dan termarjinalkan. Dengan menggunakan metodologi kualitatif yang meliputi observasi, analisis dokumen hukum, dan wawancara dengan warga kurang mampu serta pemangku kepentingan utama, penelitian ini berupaya menjawab dua pertanyaan utama: Sejauh mana Musrenbang di Surakarta benar-benar berpihak pada kaum miskin, dan tantangan utama apa yang menghambat perannya dalam pengentasan kemiskinan? Temuan menunjukkan bahwa sistem Musrenbang di Surakarta telah mencapai kemajuan berarti dalam inklusivitas, memprioritaskan alokasi anggaran yang meningkatkan akses ke layanan penting seperti kesehatan dan pendidikan bagi komunitas yang kurang beruntung. Selain itu, sistem anggaran yang dilimpahkan ke tingkat desa memungkinkan penduduk lokal untuk memenuhi kebutuhan spesifik, yang mendukung upaya peningkatan kualitas hidup. Namun, tantangan yang berkelanjutan masih ada; meskipun desain Musrenbang yang inklusif dan partisipasi masyarakat, tingkat kemiskinan hanya mengalami sedikit penurunan. Studi ini menekankan perlunya peningkatan anggaran yang dilimpahkan, bersama dengan mekanisme akuntabilitas sosial yang lebih kuat serta program pemberdayaan komunitas yang ditingkatkan untuk mencapai pengentasan kemiskinan yang berkelanjutan. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan berharga mengenai dinamika tata kelola yang pro-kaum miskin dan menyoroti area penting untuk memperkuat kerangka kerja partisipatif dalam tata kelola lokal di Indonesia.

Abstract

From the observation of 24 athletes Taekwondo Jayabaya produced as much as 79.1% - 95.8% of athletes have the physical ability, especially the speed and agility under average value. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of exercises body weight strength training and plyometric to increase physical ability. The study used an experimental research method with a quasi-experimental type using a 2x2 factorial design. The sampling technique used purposive sampling based on inclusion criteria. The total number of samples used is 24 athletes who will be divided into 2 exercise groups. The study was conducted on the Jayabaya Taekwondo team for 6 weeks. Data collection techniques used 35 meters speed test and Illinois agility run test. Variable variance analysis using MANOVA test. In the MANOVA test, the value is obtained sig. multivariate test (0.00) and between subjects effects test of exercise on speed and agility (0.00). The results of descriptive statistics on exercises body weight strength training and plyometric on speed time (5.12)>(4.57), and agility time (19.53)> (17.64). The conclusion of this study is that body weight strength training and plyometric exercises significantly affect the physical ability of taekwondo athletes.training was Plyometric more effective in increasing the speed and agility of taekwondo athletes during the 6-week training program.

Abstract

Indonesian students continue to exhibit low levels of physical fitness. This condition highlights the need for effective interventions to improve students’ physical fitness. This study aims to analyze the effects of HIIT with 1:2 and 1:5 ratios on junior high school students’ physical fitness, as well as to examine the moderating roles of gender and self-efficacy in their training responses. A quantitative approach with a 2 × 2 × 2 factorial design was employed, involving 100 junior high school students in the East Amabi Oefeto Subdistrict, Kupang Regency. The intervention lasted for eight weeks, consisting of 16 sessions conducted three times per week. The instruments used were the National Physical Fitness Test (Tes Kebugaran Jasmani Nasional, TKPN) and the Generalised Self-Efficacy Scale. The data were analysed using ANCOVA statistical procedures. Results revealed that HIIT ratio, gender, and their interaction significantly influenced physical fitness (p < 0.05). Conversely, self-efficacy alone did not show a significant effect (p > 0.05), although it contributed to the three-way interaction. Overall, this study confirms that both 1:2 and 1:5 HIIT ratios effectively improve students' physical fitness, with the 1:2 ratio being slightly more effective. Teachers can implement short HIIT sessions (10–15 minutes) every week, adjusting the ratios and intensity according to students' individual characteristics and needs. Future research should expand the sample size, include additional psychological variables, and explore variations in HIIT duration and frequency to develop a more comprehensive and practical school-based training model.
