Abstract

Abstrak Aftercooler merupakan salah satu component pada air system yang berfungsi untuk menurunkan temperature udara bertekanan pada component turbocharger yang akan masuk ke combution chamber, aftercooler dengan jenis jacket water aftercooler (JWAC) jauh lebih efisien dalam perpindahan panas dan kinerja menurunkan temperature secara keseluruhan dibandingkan dengan air to air aftercooler (ATAAC). Keunggulan ini disebabkan oleh karakteristik perpindahan panas air sebagai medium pendingin yang lebih baik. Sistem air to water menghasilkan suhu udara masuk yang lebih rendah, kepadatan udara yang lebih tinggi yang berarti lebih banyak molekul oksigen masuk ke dalam combution chamber yang mengoptimalkan percampuran udara dan fuel yang seimbang dan pada akhirnya, efektivitas aftercooler yang lebih besar. Perbedaan efek pendinginan ini menyebabkan jacket water aftercooler mempertahankan kepadatan udara yang lebih tinggi. Dengan menurunkan temperature udara bertekanan secara efektif, aftercooler dengan sistem air to water membantu mencegah terjadinya knocking, memungkinkan pembakaran bahan bakar yang lebih sempurna, dan berpotensi meningkatkan kinerja unit alat berat. Abstract

Fuel consumption in motorized vehicles is one of the main indicators of the efficiency of land transportation systems. Besides being determined by vehicle technical specifications and driver behavior, fuel efficiency is also significantly influenced by infrastructure conditions, particularly road geometry. Road geometry encompasses elements such as gradient, horizontal and vertical curvature, lane width, and road surface quality, all of which affect vehicle dynamics while driving. Roads with suboptimal geometric designs can cause increased engine workload, inefficient acceleration, and repeated deceleration, ultimately resulting in fuel waste. This study aims to examine the extent to which road geometric elements affect motorized vehicle fuel consumption. Through a literature-based qualitative and quantitative analysis approach and technical evaluation, it was found that efficient geometric design can significantly reduce fuel consumption. These findings emphasize the importance of integrating energy efficiency aspects into road planning and design processes to create a land transportation system that is not only effective and economical, but also sustainable and environmentally friendly. Abstract

This study aims to provide a profile overview of the students' creative thinking skills on Newton's Laws. The research used was a descriptive quantitative method. The research was conducted on grade VIII students at one of the State Junior High Schools in Singkawang City. The subjects in this study were selected by purposive sampling totaling 36 students. The research data was collected using a creative thinking skills test totaling 8 essay questions. Data were analysed using descriptive percentages. The results of the study showed that (1) students who were at a medium level of creative thinking were 81%, students who were at a low level of creative thinking skills were 19%; (2) the percentage results of creative thinking skills per indicator, namely fluency 69.17%, flexibility 57.92%, originality 37.50%, and elaboration 50.83%. Thus, it can be concluded that students' creative thinking skills were still low.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penyebab kebocoran oli pada sisi belakang engine pada unit excavator Komatsu PC 2000-8. Kebocoran oli pada sistem pelumas dapat menyebabkan penurunan kinerja engine dan kerusakan pada komponen lainnya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan dengan melakukan identifikasi penyebab, pengamatan dan diagnosis, pengumpulan data, analisis, penyebab yang dicurigai, kesimpulan, dan tindakan perbaikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyebab utama kebocoran sistem pelumasan pada sisi belakang engine dikarenakan terjadi contact surface pada sleeve rear seal yang mengalami keausan, sehingga dapat yang mengakibatkan kebocoran oli engine ke dalam sistem PTO. Dengan perbaikan pada komponen yang sesuai standar, kebocoran sistem lubrikasi ini dapat diatasi dan diminimalisasi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Analisis External Leak pada komponen Differential HD785-7 di PT BUMA (BRC)”, yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui penyebab terjadinya external leak pada komponen differential Komatsu HD785-7 dan mengetahui tindakan yang tepat untuk mencegah terjadinya external leak. Metode analisis yang digunakan meliputi analisis visual, analisis trend, dimension inspection, dan perbandingan dengan standard pabrik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis trend, terjadi 14 kali kejadian kebocoran eksternal pada differential diseluruh job site PT BUMA. Hasil analisis visual, ditemukan kebocoran pada seal oil. Hasil dimension inspection pada komponen coupling differential, ditemukan bahwa coupling mengalami keausan di bagian sisi distance coupling dan tidak terdapat pengukuran dimensi coupling terhadap ukuran standard dari pabrik di QA sheet BRC. Dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penyebab terjadinya external leak, karena keausan dari bagian coupling differential yang diakibatkan pemakaian berulang /part reuse yang dilakukan secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students’ learning interest in Islamic Cultural History (Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam) through the implementation of animated video learning media assisted by the Canva application. The research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles, consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects of this study were 22 eighth-grade students of MTs Laboratorium Kota Jambi in the academic year 2025/2026. Data were collected through observation sheets, questionnaires on learning interest, interviews, and documentation. The indicators of learning interest measured in this study included students’ enjoyment, attention, active participation, and motivation during the learning process. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ learning interest after the implementation of animated video media assisted by Canva. In Cycle I, students’ learning interest increased moderately, while in Cycle II it reached the expected success criteria with a percentage above 80%. These findings indicate that the use of Canva-assisted animated video learning media can create an engaging and interactive learning atmosphere, thereby effectively increasing students’ learning interest in Islamic Cultural History. Therefore, this media can be recommended as an alternative innovative learning strategy to enhance students’ engagement in the classroom.

Abstract

Peningkatan kebutuhan energi nasional, khususnya bahan bakar Gasoline, mendorong inovasi dalam meningkatkan efisiensi dan kualitas pembakaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh peningkatan kualitas Gasoline terhadap performa engine dan emisi gas buang kendaraan bermotor. Penelitian dilakukan secara eksperimen laboratorium menggunakan motor Gasoline 4 langkah dengan rasio kompresi 9:1–11:1. Empat jenis perlakuan bahan bakar digunakan: Gasoline Premium sebagai kontrol, Gasoline dengan alat Femax Combo (medan magnet dan pemanas), serta Gasoline dengan penambahan Eco Racing (1 dan 2 tablet) pada jenis Pertalite dan Pertamax. Parameter uji meliputi daya, torsi, konsumsi bahan bakar spesifik (BSFC), dan emisi gas buang (CO, CO₂, dan HC). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Femax Combo dapat meningkatkan efisiensi pembakaran, menghasilkan daya dan torsi lebih tinggi, serta konsumsi bahan bakar yang lebih rendah. Penambahan Eco Racing juga menunjukkan peningkatan performa engine dan penurunan emisi CO dan HC, meskipun terjadi peningkatan emisi CO₂. Kesimpulannya, peningkatan kualitas Gasoline melalui Femax Combo dan aditif Eco Racing berpengaruh positif terhadap performa engine dan mampu menurunkan emisi berbahaya, sehingga berpotensi mendukung transportasi yang lebih efisien dan ramah lingkungan.

Abstract

Penerangan Jalan Umum (PJU) memiliki peran penting dalam mendukung keselamatan dan kenyamanan pengguna jalan, terutama di malam hari. Terdapat dua sistem utama yang banyak diterapkan, yaitu PJU tenaga surya (PJUTS) dan PJU konvensional yang menggunakan listrik PLN. Kajian teoritis ini dilakukan untuk membandingkan keduanya dari sisi biaya investasi awal, biaya operasional tahunan, serta biaya pemeliharaan dan penggantian komponen dalam periode 20 tahun. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa PJUTS memerlukan biaya investasi awal yang relatif lebih tinggi, namun memiliki biaya operasional yang rendah karena tidak dibebani tagihan listrik bulanan. Sebaliknya, PJU konvensional memiliki investasi awal lebih rendah, tetapi disertai tagihan listrik rutin dan biaya perawatan berkala yang menyebabkan total biaya menjadi lebih besar dalam jangka panjang. PJUTS dinilai lebih sesuai diterapkan di wilayah terpencil atau daerah yang belum terjangkau jaringan PLN, sedangkan PJU konvensional tetap relevan untuk daerah perkotaan yang telah memiliki infrastruktur listrik memadai. Kajian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi bahan pertimbangan bagi pemerintah daerah dan pemangku kebijakan dalam menentukan pilihan sistem PJU yang lebih ekonomis, efisien, dan berkelanjutan sesuai kondisi wilayah dan kebutuhan setempat.

Abstract

Embankment dams are critical infrastructure requiring comprehensive geological and geotechnical investigation to ensure long-term structural integrity and prevent catastrophic failure. This study presents the results of two-stage Multichannel Analysis of Surface Waves (MASW) investigations conducted at Cabean Dam core zone to characterize shear wave velocity (Vs) profiles and identify weak zones susceptible to seepage and slope instability. The first stage (2022) involved 17 survey lines while the second stage (2025) comprised 11 additional lines targeting critical areas. Shear wave velocity values ranged from 78–756 m/s, indicating significant material heterogeneity. Low Vs anomalies (78–200 m/s) were identified in the upper 0–7 meter depth at survey lines L-01, L-07, L-08, and L-09, correlating with residual soil having high permeability values up to 3.06×10⁻⁴ m/s and Lugeon values reaching 25.34 Lu. Integration of MASW data with borehole logs confirmed material classifications ranging from Site Class E (soft soil) at shallow depths to Site Class B (stiff soil) at greater depths. The identified weak zones pose significant risks for seepage, internal erosion (piping), and slope instability, requiring remedial measures including recompaction, optimized internal drainage design, and enhanced instrumentation monitoring. This research contributes methodological advancement in applying MASW as an integral component of staged investigation protocols for embankment dam projects, particularly for monitoring and refining geological-geotechnical conditions during construction phase. Results serve as a reference for practitioners and researchers in geotechnical dam engineering for improving safety and reliability of embankment dam infrastructure in Indonesia.

Abstract

As the majority of Indonesian citizens, Muslims cannot avoid that a lot of corruption is carried out by people who are Muslim. In Indonesia's positive law, there are still some crimes that carry the death penalty. In Islam, it implies the imposition of punishment that will be able to provide a deterrent effect for perpetrators of corruption, namely the death penalty. One of the arguments that imply the death penalty for perpetrators of corruption is contained in the Qur'an Surah Al-Maidah verse 33. This paper aims to provide thoughts related to the death penalty status for Corruptors in the perspective of Islamic law, so that at least it becomes material reflection and reminding that corruption is a bad act and is strictly prohibited by Islam, because the bad impact it has on a society and nation is very large.
