Abstract

This time the community service for Bumigora University lecturers was carried out in Batu Kumbung village, Lingsar sub-district, West Lombok Regency, in Batu Kumbung village there are several MSMEs engaged in the culinary field such as Clarias Food, Mangosteen Coffee, Ant Sugar, Dodol, Klepon and Fresh Fruit businesses. However, these MSMEs have not been maximal in marketing the results of products made, especially digital marketing, currently product marketing is still carried out traditionally, so efforts are needed to increase the marketing of products that have been produced, to assist in digital marketing, a digital market application is needed that can be used to promote a brand using digital media that can reach consumers in a timely, personal, and relevant manner. The output achieved is the creation of a digital market application (E-Commarce Website) so that it can assist MSMEs in marketing their respective products. With this digital market application, it makes it easier for MSMEs, starting from the promotion process to the sales transaction process for MSME results in the culinary field in Batu Kumbung village.

Abstract

Kondisi Sekolah Menengah Pertama Katolik (SMPK Kesuma) dalam pandemic covid-19 melumpuhkan kegiatan karya wisata yang diprogramkan pihak sekolah tiap tahunnya. Dengan melonjaknya kasus covid-19 di Mataram, maka pihak sekolah mengganti kegiatan karya wisata tersebut dengan pelatihan desain grafis. Pelatihan desain grafis bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan bakat dan minat peserta didik dalam menghadapi perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan teknologi dan seni di era sekrang ini. Metode pelaksanaan pedampingan ini dilakukan secara  klasikal dan  praktik desain grafis dengan Langkah-langkah seperti: (a) Simulasi; (b) Tutorial; (c) Latihan Terbimbing. Kegiatan ini mengahsilkan karya poster promosi makanan khas Lombok. karya poster yang dibuat peserta didik menjadi penilaian program karya wisata.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah mengubah cara pembelajaran bahasa Inggris, mendorong perlunya integrasi literasi digital dalam proses pembelajaran. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan literasi digital dan komunikasi bahasa Inggris siswa SMA melalui pelatihan pembuatan konten kreatif. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di salah satu SMA di Kota Mataram dan melibatkan peserta didik kelas X dan XI. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi tahap observasi, pelatihan interaktif, praktik pembuatan konten digital dalam bahasa Inggris, serta evaluasi hasil. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan motivasi siswa dalam belajar bahasa Inggris serta peningkatan kemampuan mereka dalam mengakses, memahami, dan menghasilkan konten berbahasa Inggris secara digital. Kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi nyata terhadap pengembangan kompetensi di era teknologi digital, khususnya keterampilan berpikir kritis, kreativitas, dan komunikasi. Oleh karena itu, pelatihan ini dapat dijadikan model dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris yang inovatif dan relevan dengan kebutuhan generasi digital.

Abstract

The creative industry today, animation is one of the popular media used by many entertainment industries and to introduce the customs and culture of a region. Animation is a process in which an image or object is manipulated to create a predetermined movement flow. Merarik is the escape or kidnapping of a girl from the supervision of her guardian and her social environment has been formed as a cultural heritage that is passed down from generation to generation for the Sasak people in general and merarik has several stages that must be passed through to run it. The purpose of this design is where the designer wants to provide information about the meaning and stages in the design. The methodology used in this design is the pipeline method, which is a method that includes several stages (pre-production, production and post-production). The results of this design are in the form of animations of the stages in merarik which are designed with 2D techniques as a medium that explains the process of elopement (merarik) in Sasak culture. Animation is made with the limited animation genre which is usually done in Japanese animated films. The implications of the results of this study as a medium for learning and preserving the Merarik culture which has recently been rarely found among the Sasak people

Abstract

Goa Lawah in West Lombok holds unique natural and cultural tourism potential, yet remains relatively unknown. A preliminary survey revealed that only 10% of respondents aged 18–25 were aware of this destination, reflecting low brand awareness and limited digital exposure. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of promotional videos in enhancing the visibility of Goa Lawah as a hidden destination. Using a descriptive qualitative approach supported by quantitative data, the study examines visual and narrative elements, as well as audience responses to the video. The findings show that promotional videos effectively communicate natural and cultural appeal while evoking emotional interest. Around 70% of respondents expressed greater interest in visiting after watching the video. These results suggest that cinematic-based promotional media can strengthen the image of local destinations. This research offers an initial contribution to the promotion of hidden destinations in West Nusa Tenggara and adds academic perspective to the study of visual storytelling and destination image formation through digital media. ABSTRAK Goa Lawah di Lombok Barat memiliki potensi wisata alam dan budaya yang unik, namun masih kurang dikenal. Survei awal menunjukkan hanya 10% responden usia 18–25 tahun mengetahui destinasi ini, mencerminkan rendahnya brand awareness dan eksposur digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas video promosi dalam meningkatkan visibilitas Goa Lawah sebagai destinasi tersembunyi. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dan dukungan data kuantitatif, studi ini mengkaji elemen visual, naratif, dan respons audiens terhadap video. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa video promosi secara efektif menyampaikan daya tarik alam dan budaya serta membangkitkan ketertarikan emosional. Sekitar 70% responden menyatakan minat lebih besar untuk berkunjung setelah menonton video. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa media promosi berbasis sinematik dapat memperkuat citra destinasi lokal. Penelitian ini menjadi kontribusi awal dalam promosi destinasi tersembunyi di NTB dan menambah perspektif akademik dalam kajian storytelling visual dan pembentukan citra pariwisata melalui media digital.

Abstract

Painting exhibitions are part of a discourse strategy published by artists through public spaces. Where art exhibitions generally try to represent multi-dimensional values in the form of artwork from various types of spaces. Exhibitions are seen as art events that are discoursed in the form of exhibition packages with the theme "Tatap". Tatap is the concept of Ahmad Junaidin's solo exhibition which consists of three categories of small sub-themes, namely the theme of nature, the theme of Sasak mythology, and the theme of tradition. Behind the exhibition with the theme "Tatap" of course, there is another purpose that must be conveyed by the discourse to the audience. The purpose of this study is to try to describe the existence of the dimensions of the artist's paintings that are exhibited and the curatorial dimensions presented in the form of a narrative of the relationship between works and paintings are dimensions that are related to one another. Because behind the text, both visual and verbal, there are certain intentions and purposes. This study uses a qualitative research type with the Halliday discourse analysis research method consisting of the field of discourse (field of discourse) what is being discussed, the discourse participants (tenor of discourse) who are involved in the conversation, and the mode of discourse (mode of discourse) the choice of language used by the media. The results of the study show that what is exhibited and what is opined experience distortion between the work and its curatorial.

Abstract

Identitas visual menjadi elemen penting dalam membangun citra suatu perusahaan, termasuk di media sosial. “Kuliner di Lombok” merupakan sebuah channel vlog makanan asal Lombok yang memanfaatkan Instagram dan TikTok untuk mempromosikan kuliner lokal. Meskipun memiliki konten yang berkualitas dan jumlah pengikut yang cukup banyak, channel ini belum memiliki logo yang kuat dan representatif sebagai identitas visualnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan logo sebagai representasi visual untuk Channel “Kuliner di Lombok” dengan menggunakan metode design thinking melalui tahap empathize, define, ideate, prototype, dan test. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui observasi dan wawancara kepada pengelola channel. Hasil dari perancangan ini berupa logo dengan jenis combination mark dengan karakter visual yang ceria, unik, dan sederhana, sesuai dengan keinginan pemilik channel. Dengan keberadaan logo ini, diharapkan Channel “Kuliner di Lombok” dapat mempresentasikan karakter channel serta bersaing dengan lebih profesional dan konsisten dalam memperkenalkan identitasnya kepada audiens.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the challenges of internalizing Pancasila values among sociology education students through an approach relevant to the local cultural context. One potential medium is the values of Presean culture, which can enrich the teaching of Pancasila ideology. The purpose of this study is to analyse the role of Presean cultural values in social learning and their contribution to strengthening students’ understanding of Pancasila. The study employed a qualitative approach with 15 participants consisting of sociology education students, lecturers, and local cultural figures. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis, then examined using a descriptive-interpretative method. The findings reveal that the internalisation of Presean values-such as courage, sportsmanship, and adherence to rules-positively enhances students’ comprehension of Pancasila principles. In addition, this culturally based learning increases students’ awareness of unity, social justice, and respect for human rights. These results suggest that integrating Presean cultural values into social education can serve as an effective alternative for strengthening Pancasila ideology among the younger generation.

Abstract

The determination of poverty status in Lombok Utara district depends on criteria such as income, access to health and education services, and housing conditions. These factors are crucial for assessing the level of community welfare and guiding the allocation of social assistance by the district government. The purpose of this study is to address the gap by utilizing advanced data mining techniques to improve the accuracy of poverty status classification in North Lombok, thereby informing more effective social assistance policies. The method used in this research is the Random Forest (RF), K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) and Naïve Bayes with split data 80% data training and 20% data testing. The finding indicated that the machine learning model the RF algorithm, which achieved an accuracy rate of 82.56%, proved to play an important role in this process by effectively distinguishing between different categories of poverty based on these criteria. In comparison, the KNN algorithm achieved an accuracy of 70.94% and the Naïve Bayes model achieved an accuracy of 53.47%. It means that the machine learning model using the RF algorithm has more accurate accuracy than the KNN and Naïve Bayes algorithm in predicting or recommending Recipients of Social Assistance from the District Government. The implication is that RF machine learning can help the role of social service officers in predicting the economic status of the community. The high accuracy of the RF algorithm enhances its role in informing targeted policy decisions and optimizing the effectiveness of social assistance programs. Nonetheless, continuous improvement is essential to refine the model's predictive capabilities and ensure the accuracy and reliability of poverty assessments. These continuous improvements are essential to effectively alleviate poverty and break the cycle of socio-economic disparities in the region.

Abstract

Bisnis UMKM Manget yang bergerak di bidang makana khas Lombok sudah merambah penjualan sampai keluar negeri akan tetapi belum memiliki identitas visual yang jelas, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang identitas visual bisnis makanan tradisonal khas Lombok “Manget”. Pendekatan penelitian pada perancangan ini menggunakan kulitatif dan dipadukan dengan metode design thinking yang melaui tahapan emphatize, define, ideate, prototype, dan test. Kolektif data pada penelitian ini menggunakan obesrvasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Pengambilan sampel wawancara dilakukan dengan perposeful sampling-Stratified sample dengan analisis alur untuk menganalisis data pada penelitian ini. Penelitian menghasilkan logon dengan Graphic standart manual (GSM) yang berisi panduan logo, aturan penggunaan media, pemilihan font, layout, pattern, dan elemen desain lainnya. Hasil logo pada penelitian ini diterpkan pada media kaos, apron, x-banner, desain kemasan, sidewalk stand sebagai media pendukung dan promosi.
