Abstract

Indonesia, as a country with a wide population diversity, faces the challenge of significant population growth. Rapid population growth requires increased social facilities to support the population's quality of life. According to Bapelibang PPU, the pattern of distribution of social facilities in this district is still not able to serve the entire community so there are still people who have difficulty getting these social facility services. Therefore, it is feared that this pattern of uneven distribution of social facilities will become a serious problem in the future. To overcome this, research is needed regarding the analysis of the distribution patterns of social facilities in order to provide consideration for future regional development so that it can maximize the function of services to the community. The aim of this research is to determine the distribution pattern of social facilities in North Penajam Paser Regency. The research method used in this research is descriptive quantitative with the nearest neighbor analysis method. The results of this analysis were obtained in this district. The distribution patterns that were formed tended to form clustered and random patterns.

Abstract

Tourism is one of the sustainable sectors in North Barito Regency whose existence is important for regional sustainability. One of the mainstay tourist attractions is the Trinsing Dam which is located in Trinsing Village, South Teweh District. However, there needs to be systematic and objective development so that Trinsing Dam tourism can continue in a sustainable manner. The development of Trinsing Dam tourism is supported by local government policies such as the North Barito Regency RTRW 2019 - 2039 and North Barito Regency RIPPDA 2019 - 2025. One step that can be taken is development based on the 6A tourism components, namely Attraction, Amenities, Ancillary, Accommodation, Accessibilities and Activities. Development begins by collecting data in the form of a general description of tourism and existing conditions collected from government documents, interviews and observations. These data are used as material for analysis and evaluation of Trinsing Dam tourism conditions. After that, the Trinsing Dam tourism development strategy was formulated using the SOAR (Strength, Opportunities, Aspirations and Results) method. Then a development strategy is obtained, namely maintaining and developing tourism variables that are already good or ideal as a basisfor developing other variables such as collaboration and cooperation between the community and its culture and tourist attractions, improving cleanliness systems, repairing damaged road points, improving facilities, improving service systems and additional accommodation infrastructure.

Abstract

Abstract

Merauke city suffers flooding in almost every rainy season, which endangers the environment and disturbspeople's activities. One of the worst floods happened in 2019, where flooding damaged vegetables and crops, impactedthe city's economy, and later caused economic inflation. Therefore, a study evaluating the drainage system in Meraukecity is needed to overcome this issue. This study was conducted through a field survey and literature study with datathat varies from hydrological, elevation, and hydraulics data. Hydrological data includes yearly rainfall data, andhydraulics data consists of the drainage network and designs. This evaluation will then result in the normalization of adrainage system. This study found that the capacity of the current drainage system is 10.815 m3/s, where this drainagecapacity cannot accommodate the amount of flood discharge plan. Also, the existing drainage system is missing acomponent that was not built in the first place, affecting the drainage's capacity. Therefore, a normalization of thedrainage system is needed to avoid flooding.
