Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of social media use on student learning achievement in Fiqh subjects at MTs Nurul Hidayah. The problem underlying this study is the tendency of students who often spend time on social media, which is feared to interfere with their focus on the learning process. The approach used in this study is quantitative with a causal design to see the cause and effect relationship between two variables. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The data obtained were then analyzed using descriptive methods and statistical analysis including validity tests, reliability tests, and hypothesis tests with simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the use of social media by students was at a high level, but still controlled. Statistical analysis indicated a significant influence between the use of social media and student learning achievement in Fiqh subjects, with a satisfactory average value. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of social media plays a positive role in improving student learning achievement in Fiqh subjects at MTs Nurul Hidayah.

Abstract

In the face of increasingly fierce and complex organizational competition, this allows organizations to change the management pattern strategy that is played especially in increasing optimal performance through the role of human resource management because it is human resources who have a mindset through ideas, opinions, as well as views that are not shared by other resources. Employees are human resources who hold the most important position in implementing an organisation's vision, mission and goals. Employee performance is one of the markers that need to be considered by the organization. When employees feel unmotivated at work, this will have an impact on inhibiting organizational operational activities. Therefore, one strong indicator of influencing the environment is the presence of a leader. There are many styles preferred by employees, one of which is the transformational leadership style, especially in the current digitalization era. This writing aims to understand and explore the influence of transformational leadership style on employee performance. The method used is a Systematic Literature review using secondary data, where the author collects data related to the theme, and information is taken from various Scopus-indexed journals. The results of the study suggest that the transformational leadership style can affect the performance of employees in the organization. Because employees are actively involved, they feel increased motivation, increased trust, willingness to follow philosophy, ideology, vision, and increased consequences of interesting change. They have high commitment and can see one's abilities. Employees who are inspired by transformational leadership are also more likely to immerse themselves in work, resulting in better task performance and helping behaviours that ultimately help build organizational progress

Abstract

The pandemic has significantly impacted Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), especially in Solo Raya, where adaptation to digital technology is now crucial for survival in an increasingly complex market. This research focuses on the influence of three key factors—Fintech-based payment gateways, digital financial literacy, and financial inclusion—on the financial performance of MSMEs in Solo Raya. The adoption of Fintech is vital due to the rise of cashless transactions and shifting consumer behaviors, making digital financial management essential for MSMEs to thrive. Data is analyzed with SEM-PLS (Partial Least Square), assessing validity, reliability, and the relationships between variables through SmartPLS. This research aims to provide insights that will help MSMEs effectively adapt to digital advancements, ensuring sustainable growth and competitiveness. The results which states that digital payment adoptions, digital financial literacy, financial inclusion has impact on the MSME’s financial performance.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of service quality and positive emotional experience on customer satisfaction and positive eWOM at Patra Semarang Hotel & Convention. Service quality and positive emotional experience are considered important factors that can increase customer satisfaction and influence the behavior of sharing positive experiences through digital platforms. The research method used is a quantitative approach using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS). Data were collected through an online questionnaire distributed to 181 respondents who had stayed at the hotel. The results showed that service quality has a significant positive effect on customer satisfaction and positive eWOM. Positive emotional experience also has a significant effect on customer satisfaction, but does not have a direct effect on positive eWOM. In addition, customer satisfaction is proven to function as a mediator connecting service quality and positive eWOM. These findings underline the importance of improving service quality and attention to customer emotional experiences to encourage them to share positive experiences online. The implications of this study suggest that hotel managers need to prioritize service quality and create pleasant emotional experiences to increase customer satisfaction and utilize positive eWOM as an effective promotional tool. Abstract

This study explores how nascent entrepreneurs in Indonesia can improve their business innovation performance by utilizing volunteerism and digital competencies, particularly in the context of financial and technological limitations. These challenges significantly hinder their capacity for effective innovation, especially in resource-limited settings where access to tools and expertise is often scarce. A quantitative approach was employed, using data from 156 nascent entrepreneurs, which was analyzed through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results indicate that the voluntary exchange of ideas and competences, framed through the Service-Dominant Logic (S-DL) perspective, plays a critical role in overcoming resource constraints and enhancing innovation outcomes. By facilitating collaboration and knowledge-sharing via volunteerism, nascent entrepreneurs can strengthen their digital and managerial capabilities, which are essential for driving innovation. The study highlights the importance of creating ecosystems that support stakeholder-driven volunteer initiatives, which help develop strategic digital competencies among emerging entrepreneurs, thereby fostering greater innovation capacity and ensuring long-term business sustainability.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the needs for developing the Merdeka Curriculum in the subject of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) and Character, based on local wisdom at the senior high school level, with a focus on the cultural context of West Java communities. The background of this research lies in the predominance of textual and normative approaches in PAI instruction, which have not fully accommodated local values such as religious traditions, regional languages, and living cultural practices within society. Using a mixed-methods approach with a concurrent triangulation design, data were collected through questionnaires and interviews involving 373 students and 191 PAI teachers from five public senior high schools in West Java. The findings indicate that more than 70% of respondents support the integration of local wisdom values into the PAI curriculum. The most prominent aspects include the need for contextual learning guidelines, the scarcity of locally relevant textbooks, and the importance of using regional languages in delivering religious materials. The study concludes that developing a PAI curriculum adaptive to local cultural contexts is not only crucial for enhancing the relevance of learning but also strategic in shaping an inclusive, moderate religious identity rooted in students’ social realities. The results of this needs analysis are expected to serve as both a conceptual and practical foundation for designing a PAI curriculum that is contextual and responsive to the dynamics of Indonesia’s multicultural society.
