Abstract

This study aims to develop a management model of character education based on Carmelite spirituality, using the Borg & Gall model with a mixed methods approach. The research subjects were Carmelite School teachers in East Nusa Tenggara. Data were collected using questionnaires, interviews, observations, and document studies. Data analysis used a sequential explanatory approach, in which quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics, while qualitative data were analyzed through thematic coding.  The results of this study: the model of character education management based on CARMEL values, developed using POAC management principles is effective in implementing and becoming a solution to the problems of character education management in Carmelite schools in East Nusa Tenggara, to enhance the quality of educational services. This research strengthens a new perspective on character education management based on religious values. Through religious spirituality, students can foster holistically human values based on their local wisdom. Therefore, a quality management model, based on religious values and integrating local culture, equipped with digital platforms, will improve the effectiveness and quality of education services in schools.

Abstract

Abstract – Kebutuhan akan kemudahan pelayanan yang di dapatkan oleh Demand for ease of service in getting by the public from the World the Banking, has its own contribution hearts everyday life. Regardless of these advantages, the banking sector is also characterized by shortages arising from the application of the procedures used, especially within the PT. Bank Negara Indonesia TBK Parigi Branch Office is one branch of PT. Bank Negara Indonesia Manado region that wants continue to improve the pattern of banking services. The situation can be seen from the number of stacking of customers queuing for services provided by the Bank. Thus, this study will be focused on the simulation and implementation of Queue System Online at PT. Bank BNI branched office TBK Parigi. The aim of the implementation of this system is to reduce the accumulation of customers that can not be predicted. This study resulted in an online queue system that serves to reduce the number of queues that can not be predicted. Based on the application, there are advantages and disadvantages of such a system.   Keywords— Queues, bank, queuing systems, queuing systems online.

Abstract

Analysis of data mining on data sales aims to process data with limited attributes to know information that can be generated from processing of such data. The utilization of Clustering Method are expected to answer the needs of processing the data to figure out the pattern of most purchases and distance of purchases up to the day of departure at the data in two years on PT Garuda Indonesia, Batam Branch. Data Mining Processing aims to process sales data into information or knowledge which plays an important role as one of the solutions in determining the future strategy. The use of the K-means algorithm aims to see algorithm processing capabilities with limited attributes. The purpose of using this method is to obtain the largest purchasing frequency information each month as well as consumer purchasing patterns as reference in establishing business recommendations as well as acquiring knowledge which will be useful for PT Garuda Indonesia, Batam Branch. By considering the existence of business competition of other airline companies, the result is expected to bring feedback as material input for the company in the future.

Abstract

The use of k-means algorithm in student supply process is done to see students supply tendency in each region who study at satya wacana christian university (SWCU). This data processing with k-meansis useful for extracting information and knowledge from students data at SWCU. With data mining processing, the stakeholders at SWCU can take strategic steps for the penetration process in regions with potential student supply indication. The use of k-meansalgorithms facilitates the process of data analysis as well as grouping on student data during a 5-year period. The aim of this study is to provide on target strategic picture for regions which potentially have a significant impact on students supply each year.

Abstract

E-learning telah menjadi alat yang penting dalam pendidikan tinggi, memungkinkan perguruan tinggi untuk menyediakan aksesibilitas dan fleksibilitas dalam pengajaran dan pembelajaran. Salah satu platform e-learning yang populer adalah Moodle yang digunakan oleh banyak universitas di indonesia. Namun, penggunaan Moodle di universitas belum banyak diteliti secara mendalam, terutama dalam konteks pengaruh e-learning terhadap indeks prestasi akademik. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan pengujian e-learning Moodle di lingkungan Universitas Buddhi Dharma yang berlokasi di Tangerang dengan metode Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) menggunakan lima variabel Perceive Usefulness (PU), Perceive Ease of Use (PEOU), Attention Towards Using (ATU), Behaviour Intention to Use (BITU), dan Actual System Using (ASU) ditambah dengan dua variabel lain yaitu Level of Confidence (LC) dan Academic Performance (AP). Seluruh variabel dianalisis menggunakan Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa persepsi kemudahan penggunaan (PEOU), dan persepsi kebermanfaatan (PU) memiliki pengaruh positif secara signifikan terhadap sikap (ATT) dan niat perilaku pengguna (BITU) serta aktual penggunaan sistem (ASU) dalam Moodle sebagai platform e-learning dengan nilai t-statistik yang melebihi nilai t-tabel dan p-value. Namun dalam hal ini penerimaan teknologi e-learning yang baik tidak mempengaruhi tingkat kepercayaan diri (LC) dan performa akademik pengguna (AP) secara aktual.   Abstract E-learning has become an essential tool in higher education, enabling universities to provide accessibility and flexibility in teaching and learning. One of the popular e-learning platforms is Moodle, which many universities in Indonesia use. However, the use of Moodle at universities has yet to be studied in depth, especially in the context of the influence of e-learning on the academic performance index. Therefore, this research aims to test Moodle e-learning in the Buddhi Dharma University environment located in Tangerang using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) method using the five variables Perceive Usefulness (PU), Perceive Ease of Use (PEOU), Attention Towards Using (ATU), Behavioral Intention to Use (BITU), and Actual System Using (ASU) plus two other variables, namely Level of Confidence (LC) and Academic Performance (AP). All variables were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results show that perceived ease of use (PEOU) and perceived usefulness (PU) have a significant positive influence on attitudes (ATT) and user behavioral intentions (BITU) as well as actual system use (ASU) in Moodle as an e-learning platform with a value of t -statistics that exceed the t-table value and p-value. However, in this case, a good acceptance of e-learning technology does not affect the Confidence Level (LC) and user Academic Performance (AP).

Abstract

Balanced scorecard is a concept that can be used as a performance monitoring system in an organization. Results of monitoring the performance of the organization by implementing a balanced scorecard to perform and produce measurement and monitoring from time to time. Satya Wacana Christian University wants to develop the concept of education in the direction of research in a Research University (RU). It is important for universities to create a strategy and carry out the action that RU can be realized. Application of the balanced scorecard use to see the vision and mission of the university to reach the next target should be done. As a leading university RU application of balanced scorecard need to be viewed from four perspectives: financial, customer, internal business processes, growth and learning. Based on the perspective that there is then established Key Performance Indicators (KPI) are selected according to the needs of SWCU realize RU. Performance monitoring system is used based Ms.excel. The implementation of the balanced scorecard and KPI development plans SWCU create RU in the resulting system performance monitor that can measure and monitor from time to time.

Abstract

The Directorate General of Citizens and Civil Registration, under the Ministry of Home Affairs, has developed an application called digitization of population documents (IKD) to enhance administrative services related to community registration and increase user satisfaction. However, this application has its strengths and weaknesses, which have resulted in mixed reactions from users. To analyze user sentiment towards the application's user interface and user experience, the research utilized Naïve Bayes and KNN techniques. The study involved 52 respondents, and the results showed that the Naïve Bayes algorithm has a higher accuracy rate than the KNN algorithm. Sentiment predictions for the user interface obtained 38 positive responses, 12 neutral responses, and two negative responses, while for user experience, the study obtained 41 positive responses, eight neutral responses, and three negative responses. The accuracy rates of the Naïve Bayes algorithm for the user interface and user experience were 94.23% and 90.38%, respectively. On the other hand, the KNN algorithm achieves an accuracy rate of 71.15% for the user interface and 88.46% for the user experience. Overall, the study shows that the Naïve Bayes method outperforms the KNN method in terms of accuracy for user interface and user experience.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an extracurricular management model grounded in multiple intelligences theory. Employing the Borg and Gall Research & Development (R&D) model, this study integrates a mixed-methods approach. The model comprises ten stages, with this study reaching five stages, namely small-scale product revisions. Expert validation involved three specialists, while small-scale trials engaged 15 teachers and three high school principals. Data collection methods included interviews, questionnaires, and observations, with qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis employed. The results show that EXMMIND (Digital Multiple Intelligences Extracurricular Management) is effective, with feasibility tests yielding 89.5% (IT experts), 86% (management experts), and 90% (principals) and 89% (teachers), all categorized as 'very good'. EXMMIND provides students with opportunities for growth and development aligned with their strengths. Schools, as institutions that foster humanization, create extracurricular activities and lifelong provisions that are mastered and carried throughout life. This product is anticipated to be implemented to enhance extracurricular activities grounded in students' potential, interests, and intelligence.

Abstract

Kualitas pengambilan keputusan kepala sekolah merupakan pengungkit krusial untuk mendorong peningkatan mutu sekolah yang berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas integrasi prinsip Total Quality Management (TQM) dan data Sistem Informasi Manajemen (SIM) terhadap kualitas pengambilan keputusan Kepala Sekolah di SD Negeri Wates. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif berdesain studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan kepala sekolah dan dianalisis secara tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi TQM dan SIM terbukti sangat efektif dalam mentransformasi proses pengambilan keputusan. Sinergi antara filosofi TQM yang menekankan perbaikan berkelanjutan dan fokus pada pelanggan dengan data objektif dari SIM (rekap nilai dan kehadiran siswa) telah meningkatkan kualitas keputusan, menggesernya dari yang bersifat intuitif menjadi berbasis bukti, partisipatif, dan tepat sasaran. Inisiasi program “Zero O’clock” menjadi contoh utama di mana data SIM mengidentifikasi masalah, dan prinsip TQM memandu solusi yang kolaboratif dan evaluatif. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi yang efektif ini secara langsung meningkatkan kualitas keputusan strategis, yang pada gilirannya menjadi katalisator bagi peningkatan mutu sekolah yang berkelanjutan.
