Penelitian ini bertjuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk pemertahanan bahasa jawa penjual bakso di kecmatan Kuranji. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif bertujuan untuk mencapai tujuan penelitian sesuai masalah yang diteliti. Informn dalam penelitian ini adalah penjual bakso yang ada di Kecmatan Kuranji Padang. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini melalui teknik rekam dan catat. Analiis data menggunakan teknik metode padan dan metode agih serta menggunakan teknik lanjutan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa, Pertama, bentuk pemertahanan bahasa Jawa dapat dilihat dari ranah keluarga dan ranah kerja. Pada ranah keluarga penggunaan bahasa Jawa digunakan untuk berkomunikai antara Ibu dan Anak, Suami dan Istri serta kakak adaik. Pada ranah kerja penggunaan bahasa Jawa masih tetap digunakan oleh penjual bakso dalam melayani pembeli atau bertransksi dengan pembeli. Kedua, Faktor yang menyebkan pemertahanan bahasa pada penjual bakso dalam mempertahankan bahasa Jawa adalah, 1) faktor geografis, dimana adanya dukungan dari lingkungan sekitar yang masih menghargai bahasa yang digunakan oleh penjual bakso dalam berkomunikasi, 2) faktor loyalitas penutur, penjual bakso tetap menggunakan bahasa Jawa kepada anak meskipun hidup berdampingan dengan bahasa Minang dan bahasa Indonesia.

This research aims to explore students' perspectives on the use of technology-based educational games in learning Indonesian language activities at SMAN 2 Pasaman. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data was collected through an online questionnaire distributed to 98 tenth-grade students. The findings reveal that although the teaching methods used by teachers are still dominated by conventional approaches, the majority of students (87%) agree that educational games assist them in the learning process. Students consider educational games to make learning activities more exciting, interactive, and enjoyable. However, some students also express doubts about the effectiveness of educational games, primarily because they have never tried them or are concerned about being distracted from the learning material. Overall, the research results indicate that educational games have significant potential to enhance the quality of the Indonesian language learning process, although their implementation needs to be improved among educators.

Meningkatkan kreativitas siswa masih menjadi salah satu tujuan dari kurikulum merdeka. Pentingnya kreativitas ini mengharuskan setiap siswa harus memilikinya sebagai persiapan untuk menghadapi persaingan abad 21. Oleh karena itu, pembelajaran disekolah menjadi sarana untuk mengembangkan kemampuan kreativitas ini. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Pengaruh model PjBL terhadap tingkat kreativitas siswa SMA pada kelas geografi. Penelitian eksperimen semu ini menggunakan disain post-test only kontrol grup yang diterapkan pada siswa SMAN 15 Padang di kelas X Fase E.2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X Fase E.4 sebagai kelas kontrol. Data kreativitas siswa diperoleh berdasarkan hasil penilaian produk. Indikator kreativitas yang dinilai yaitu kerapian produk, keunikan produk dan Elaborasi. Perolehan data sebelumnya diuji untuk mengetahui normalitas dan homogenitas data. Uji beda Mann-Whitney digunakan untuk analisis lanjut dalam menjawab hipotesis yang diajukan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan model PjBL dapat meningkatkan kreativitas siswa siswa SMAN 15 Padang pada kelas geografi. Namun, terdapat hal menarik pada tiga indikator kreativitas siswa ini. Penjelasan lebih rinci terkait hal tersebut dapat ditemukan pada laporan penelitan ini.

This study investigates the impact of the Group-Discovery Learning Model on students’ communicative identity and the development of essential 21st-century skills, including critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication. This model is rooted in constructivist principles and encourages active learning through peer interaction, problem-solving tasks, and self-directed inquiry. Employing a quasi-experimental design, data were collected from 104 high school students across two schools in Padang who participated in either experimental or control classes. A validated performance-based assessment instrument was used to measure student outcomes across multiple dimensions of skill development. The results revealed significant improvements in 21st-century skills among students in the experimental group, with average post-treatment scores of 84.3 and 84.8, indicating a positive effect of the model. The normalized gain (N-Gain) scores showed medium effects (0.51 and 0.45), demonstrating measurable progress over four sessions. No significant interaction was found between the school category and the model's effectiveness, suggesting its potential adaptability across diverse educational settings. These findings support the Group-Discovery Learning Model as an effective approach for enhancing both cognitive and social competencies essential for modern learners. Despite these positive outcomes, challenges remain, particularly in developing higher-order critical thinking skills such as evaluating peer arguments and synthesizing complex ideas. This suggests that while the model fosters collaborative learning and engagement, additional scaffolding may be required to strengthen analytical reasoning. The study recommends integrating digital tools into the model to enrich collaborative learning experiences and reinforce students’ evolving communicative identities in contemporary language education.

Riau Malay is a vital part of Indonesia’s oral heritage, reflecting the socio-cultural identity of the Riau Malay community. In everyday interactions, Riau Malays frequently use allusive language as a means of politeness and as a reflection of cultural values. These linguistic expressions facilitate respectful communication and serve as a tool for character education. This study aims to redefine the role of Riau Malay figurative expressions as more than just linguistic tools, but as fundamental components of politeness and ethical communication. Additionally, it examines how these linguistic traditions can be preserved and integrated into higher education to foster character development, particularly in instilling values such as integrity, empathy, and respect among university students. A qualitative descriptive approach was used to analyze figurative expressions in Riau Malay. Data collection included documentation of traditional linguistic expressions and interviews with cultural experts and educators. The analysis focused on the role of allusions in social interactions and their contribution to shaping ethical behavior. Findings reveal that Riau Malay allusions are deeply embedded in cultural communication, serving as markers of politeness and carriers of moral and ethical values. These expressions reflect virtues such as humility, respect, and social harmony, reinforcing positive character traits among speakers. Incorporating Riau Malay figurative language into higher education has shown potential in strengthening students' cultural identity and ethical behavior. Interviews with educators revealed that students who engage with Malay linguistic traditions develop a deeper appreciation for local wisdom and improve their interpersonal communication skills. This study underscores the importance of preserving and promoting Riau Malay allusions as a means of fostering character education in higher learning institutions. By integrating these expressions into academic discourse, universities contribute to cultural heritage preservation while instilling ethical values in students. Future research should explore the long-term impact of structured linguistic programs on moral development and identify further ways to integrate traditional linguistic wisdom into modern educational frameworks.

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh masih sulitnya siswa untuk membedakan struktur teks laporan hasil observasi antara definisi umum dan deskripsi bagian, kurangnya kosa kata siswa dan kurangnya minat baca siswa, hal ini membuat siswa kesulitan dalam menulis tks laporan hasil observasi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh model pembelajaran Project Based Learning terhadap kemampuan menulis teks laporan hasil observasi siswa kelas VIII SMPN 6 Teluk Kuantan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain penelitian True eksperimental. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMPN 6 Teluk Kuantan. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik Simple Random Sampling. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas VIII A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas VIIIB sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes unjuk kerja. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa skor dari hasil tes unjuk kerja menulis teks laporan hasil observasi tanpa dan dengan menggunakan model pembeljaran Project Based Learning. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh 3 kesimpulan sebagai berikut. Pertama, kemampuan menulis teks laporan hasil observasi siswa kelas VIII SMPN 6 Teluk Kuantan tanpa menggunakan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning memperoleh nilai rata-rata 62,44 yaitu berada pada tingkat penguasaan 55-65% pada kualifikasi cukup (C). Kedua, kemampuan menulis teks laporan hasil observasi siswa kelas VIII SMPN 6 Teluk Kuantan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning memperoleh nilai rata-rata 83,32 yaitu berada pada tingkat penguasaan 76-85% pada kualifikasi baik (B). Ketiga, berdasarkan uji-t disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh terhadap penggunaan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning siswa kelas VIII SMPN 6 Teluk Kuantan. Karena > (. Model pembelajaran Project Based Learning secara signifikan berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan menulis teks laporan hasil observasi.

Abstrak Permasalahan yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini adalah masih banyak Guru Bahasa Indonesia Kelas X SMA Negeri 15 Padang mengalami kesulitan dalam menganalisis tingkat validitasan model pembelajaran yang akan diujikan kepada siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 15 Padang. Di samping itu, Guru Bahasa Indonesia Kelas X SMA Negeri 15 Padang belum pernah melakukan analisis validitas model pembelajaran yang diujikan kepada siswa sehingga Guru Bahasa Indonesia Kelas X SMA Negeri 15 Padang tersebut tidak pernah mengetahui apa saja sistem pendukung dalam penerapan model pembelajaran yang akan diujikan kepada siswa-siswinya. Ini menyebabkan tujuan pembelajaran tidak dapat tercapai dengan baik dan maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bentuk validitas Model Sharing Reading Literacy serta tingkat validitas Model Sharing Reading Literacy yang valid akan diterapkan oleh Guru kepada siswa Kelas X SMA Negeri 15 Padang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang menggunakan desain pembelajaran menurut Dick dan Carey. Subjek pada penelitian ini yaitu Tim Validator. Berdasarkan analisis data dan pembahasaan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil validasi isi tergolong valid yaitu: validiasi isi dengan nilai 60 atau kategori cukup valid sedangkan untuk hasil validasi konstruk tergolong sangat valid yaitu 100. Abstract The problem behind this research is that there are still many Indonesian language teachers in Class X SMA Negeri 15 Padang having difficulty in analyzing the level of validity of the learning model that will be tested on Class X students at SMA Negeri 15 Padang. Besides that, the Indonesian Class X teacher of SMA Negeri 15 Padang has never conducted an analysis of the validity of the learning model that was tested on students. So that the Class X Indonesian teacher of SMA Negeri 15 Padang never knew what the support system was in implementing the learning model that would be tested on his students. So that the learning objectives cannot be achieved properly and optimally. This study aims to see the form of validity of the Sharing Reading Literacy Model and the level of validity of the valid Sharing Reading Literacy model that will be applied by the teacher to Class X students of SMA Negeri 15 Padang. This research is a development research that uses a Dick and Carey model. However, in this research, only up to the development stage (develop). The subject of this research is the validator team. Based on data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the content validation results are valid, namely . Content validation 60 with quite valid category. Meanwhile, the results of construct validation are classified as very valid, namely 100.

Covid-19 forced changes in the lecture process. Online learning is the main solution taken, so that learning continues to run well. All students conduct their lectures online, from their respective places of residence, due to Covid-19. Without being discouraged, the lecturers and students remained enthusiastic in carrying out the lectures. Virtual classth rough various applications, one of which is zoom meeting. The application of zoom meetingis still very common for students because usually lecturers teach directly face to face. The purpose of this article is to find out the effectiveness of implementing virtual class with zoom meetingin evaluating Indonesian language teaching evaluation lectures. The research data was taken using a quantitative method, namely filling out a questionnaire using the Google form and distributing it to students who were selected as research samples for the Indonesian language and literature education study program at PGRI West Sumatra University who were taking an evaluation course for teaching Indonesian in the odd semester of 2021/ In 2022 there will be 34 students. From the survey results, the research results show that zoom meetings are less effective in evaluating Indonesian language teaching lectures, however, they are already effective in virtual classlearning and can be used as online learning applications. So it can be concluded that students can still continue lectures in a virtual classor indirectly by using a zoom meetingin the Indonesian language teaching evaluation lecture process.

This article discusses how films set in Minangkabau culture can be used as an effective platform to enable students to understand Minangkabau culture and the target language. Through films, students broaden their understanding of culture, language, geography, sociolinguistics, socioeconomic, socio- political and educational in Minang society. This article describes how a small number of films set in Minangkabau culture have been used at different skill levels in language programs in schools as one of the local content subjects, especially schools located in West Sumatra with the majority of the Minang community. It also examines the role of films in the teaching and learning process, and how watching films strengthens classroom activities such as discussions, and debates and activities outside the classroom such as interviews and research on topics related to the films. To explore student feedback on this process, there was a discussion about responses to watching the film. It is proposed that three main issues need to be considered: film choice; development of lesson plans; and possible efficiency is obtained by asking students to watch movies. In conclusion, it is argued that the combination of these strategies demonstrates how films set in Minangkabau culture can be used in innovative ways to teach Minang language and culture in West Sumatra.
