Abstract

People with disabilities still have not moved from marginal status and discriminatory treatment, especially to access higher education. In fact, the number of their population continues to increase, along with the many natural disasters, accidents, drug abuse and the consequences of horizontal conflict. Therefore, colleges need to transform themselves into inclusive disability friendly campuses. This study aims to see how far the implementation of inclusive education program in UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta and Universitas Brawijaya Malang. This research is a program evaluation with mixed method approach. The results showed that inclusive education programs in universities are running well. Inclusive colleges are universal educational representations intended for everyone regardless of their condition of disability. The realization of inclusive university commitment is realized by preparing qualified human resources, fulfilling accessible facilities, financial support, and making standard operational services for disabled students. Universities have made an accesible learning model for students with disabilities. Inclusive higher education program can increase the potential of students with disabilities both academically, socially and independently. The results of this study can be a reference for universities to change into inclusive. So that students with disabilities can really access higher education without having to fear rejected.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the absence of an early detection instrument for the risk of pneumonia that was tested for validity and reliability. Instruments about pneumonia found in integrated management of sick toddlers have less detailed indicators that only include breathing speed. The aim of the study was to produce an instrument of early detection of the risk of pneumonia that was valid and reliable. This research is a development research conducted in the Puskesmas ngemplak in Semarang. The subject of this study was 100 respondents. Test the content validity using Aiken's V formula and reliability test using Hoyt. In the trial, the reliability was analyzed using Alpha Cronbach. In the validity and reliability test the valid instrument items were more than 0.3 for each item and the instrument reliability was at 0.869> 0.7. The construct validity test using Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) formed 3 factors, namely factor 1 (signs and symptoms), factor 2 (individual behavior) and factor 3 (environment). This study produces valid and reliable instruments. The benefit of this study is that instruments that are valid and reliable can be used as a standard guide in knowing how much a person is exposed to pneumonia

Abstract

Mathematical-based conservation literacy instruments in elementary school (SD) that are valid, reliable and practical are not yet available. This study aims to develop mathematical literacy instruments based on the conservation of grade IV elementary geometry material validity, reliability, and practicality. This research method uses the R & D Development model of Borg & Gall. Research procedures include (1) preliminary studies; (2) Planning; (3) the development of a hypothetical model; (4) Review of hypothetical models; (5) Revision I; (6) limited trials; (7) Revision II; (8) Extensive trials; (9) Revised final model. The sample used for the study was 30 students for a small scale test and 119 students for a large scale test. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and tests. The results of the instrument are declared to be valid in content of 0.60. The estimated reliability of Inter Class Correlation (ICC) between assessors is 0.809. Small-scale tests show the value of Kaiser Meyer Olkin (KMO) of 0.653 and Barteletts test sig. 0,000. However, there is 1 item that has a value of Measures of Sampling Adequacy (MSA) <0.5. Large-scale tests show the value of Results (KMO) of 0.685 and Bartlett's Test sig. 0,000. All items obtain an MSA value of> 0.5. The instrument forms 3 components. The value of Eigenvalues ​​component 1 is 3,273, component 2 is 2,585, and component 3 is 1,562. The conclusion of this study is that the instruments developed proved to be valid, reliable and practical. Valid content based on expert judgment. Valid constructively by forming 3 factors. Reliable based on empirical tests. The instrument proved to be very practical based on teacher ratings. The instrument used by the teacher is used as a tool to measure mathematical literacy and improve students' mathematical abilities.

Abstract

The assessment instrument for mathematics performance of Adiwiyata-based cylinder material is not standard, although there are instruments but not yet valid and reliable, and there is no clear rubric to assess learning outcomes. This study aims to develop assessment instruments for cylinder material performance based on adiwiyata class IX students who are valid and reliable. This research method uses Djemari Mardapi model development research with preliminary stages, development, and evaluation. The study of instruments by experts was analyzed using the Aiken's V formula, the reliability of the instrument was based on the agreement of experts with analysis using two way ANOVA and re-analyzed using the Hoyt formula. Construct validity was assessed using exploratory factor analysis, the reliability of the instrument based on field results was analyzed using Cronbach Alpha with the help of SPSS. The performance assessment of cylinder material developed consists of 10 items. The results of the evaluation of the measured content have a value of> 0.3, that the skill instrument developed is valid. The reliability results based on expert agreement show a value of 6 0.6, which means experts agree in assessing. Data analysis in the field test can be seen from the results of Kaiser Meyer Olkin (KMO) which shows KMO values> 0.5 so that the instrument items can be analyzed further. There are three factors formed from each assessment, each item in each factor has a value of loading factor> 0.3 while the three factors are preparation, implementation, and final results. The results of reliability in the field have a value of> 0.6 so that the instruments developed are consistent in carrying out the assessment. The results of this study can be used as a guideline for teachers in junior high schools in conducting a performance assessment of adiwiyata-based cylinder material.

Abstract

Penyangraian adalah proses pembentukan aroma dan citarasa pada biji kopi yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan suhu yang tinggi. Saat ini masih sedikit data tentang bagaimana proses penyangraian yang tepat untuk menghasilkan produk kopi yang berkualitas. Sehingga terdapat beberapa kasus kurangnya penyesuaian suhu dan lamanya proses penyangraian yang dapat menyebabkan penurunan mutu akibat over roast. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh suhu dan lama penyangraian terhadap perubahan sifat fisik, kimia dan organoleptik kopi Robusta Tempur. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) Faktorial dengan perlakuan variasi suhu dan lama penyangraian yang terdiri dari tiga taraf, yaitu suhu penyangraian terdiri dari tiga taraf, yaitu suhu 190°C, 200°C, dan 210°C sedangkan lama penyangraian terdiri dari tiga taraf, yaitu 5 menit, 10 menit, dan 15 menit. Setiap perlakuan dilakukan tiga kali ulangan sehingga diperoleh 27 (dua puluh tujuh) satuan percobaan. Hasil analisis sidik ragam (ANOVA) menunjukkan bahwa variasi suhu dan lama penyangraian berpengaruh nyata terhadap rendemen, kadar air, kadar abu, kadar lemak dan kadar kafein kopi Robusta Tempur, tetapi tidak pada kadar asam total, protein dan karbohidrat. Perlakuan penyangraian biji kopi pada suhu 190°C dan lama penyangraian 5 menit menghasilkan kadar air akhir kopi robusta sebesar 2,01%. Perlakuan penyangraian biji kopi pada suhu 200°C dan lama penyangraian 15 menit menghasilkan kadar kafein akhir kopi Robusta, Tempur sebesar 1,67%. Berdasarkan uji organoleptik, kopi Robusta Tempur yang paling disukai panelis adalah kopi yang disangrai pada suhu 190˚C dengan lama penyangraian 10 menit. Sifat fisik dan kimia kopi robusta tempur adalah kadar air 2.01%, kadar abu 8,76%, kadar asam total 0,68%, kadar protein 13,77%, karbohidrat 68,77%, kadar lemak 13,25% dan kafein 1,67%.

Abstract

The main objective of this study was to describe the mathematics problem solving abilities of senior high school students based on self-regulation in Instagram-assisted Brain-Based Learning. This research is a mixed methods model concurrent embedded. The population was 10th grade students of SMA N 1 Nalumsari in the 2016/2017 school year. The selection of research subjects based on self-regulation was done purposively using the Self-Regulation of Learning Self-Report Scale (SRL-SRS). Subjects were categorized into four categories: students with self-regulation dominant planning, self-monitoring, evaluation, and reflection. Subjects were 11 students consisting of 3 students each for the planning, self-monitoring, and reflection categories, and 2 students for evaluation. The findings show that in an effective Instagram-assisted Brain-Based Learning setting, the problem solving abilities of subjects from various categories of self-regulation were diverse. Most subjects are able to master indicators of problem solving abilities in easy and medium difficulty problems. On problem with a high difficulty level, 1 planning student, 2 self-monitoring students, 2 evaluation students, and 3 reflection students have not been able to apply and adapt a variety of appropriate strategies to solve problems.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to find out the level of mathematics literacy skills of vocational students in discovery learning using e-worksheets. The research method used is a mix method with a research focus on the mathematical literacy skills of vocational high school students specifically in spatial abilities of geometric transformation material in discovery learning with e-worksheet assisted product assessment. The subjects of this study were students of XI class of Automation and Office Management of SMK Negeri 1 Demak. The qualitative data analysis was carried out by analyzing mathematical literacy skills in terms of students' spatial abilities. The quantitative data were tested by using the One Sample t-test, Paired Sample t-test, and Independent Sample t-test. The results showed that e-worksheet using discovery learning was able to develop students 'mathematical literacy abilities, gave positive responses to students. This study also found that students' spatial abilities would be relevant to their level of mathematical literacy skills.

Abstract

Problem-solving ability is the ability to solve mathematical problems and is one of the abilities that students must have in order to be skilled in working on math problems. There are factors that support student success in solving problems, including self-efficacy. This study aims to describe the problem solving abilities of students who have high, moderate, high self-efficacy and low seen from the dimensions of magnitude, strength, and generality in mathematics learning with the MMP model with the MiC approach with local cultural nuances.. This research uses a mixed method research type with a concurrent embedded design. Based on the three stages of learning quality, MMP learning with the MiC approach to local culture nuances is quality learning. In the problem solving aspect, students with high self-efficacy were able to understand problems, plan problem solving, implement problem solving plans, and re-examine them with true and complete. Students with moderate self-efficacy are able to understand problems, plan problem solving, but are less able to carry out problem-solving plans and re-check. Students with low self-efficacy are able to understand problems and plan problem solving correctly but incomplete, inadequate in implementing problem-solving plans, and in rechecking, unable to use other methods.

Abstract

This study has objectives to determine the effectiveness of project-based learning on critical thinking skills in terms of students 'mathematical self-efficacy and to find out critical thinking skills in terms of students' mathematical self-efficacy in project-based learning. This research was conducted at MAN 1 Semarang in academic year of 2019/2020. The researcher used mix methods with sequential explanatory. The research data were taken by means of questionnaires, observations, and tests then those were processed by completeness test, comparative test, influence test, and improvement test. The results showed that project-based learning was effective against critical thinking skills in terms of students' mathematical self-efficacy. Students with high mathematical self-efficacy have excellent critical thinking skills. Students with moderate ability in mathematical self-efficacy are having good critical thinking skills. Students with low mathematical self-efficacy have quite good critical thinking skills even though some of them did not achieved the minimum completeness criteria (KKM). The project-based learning model is suitable for improving students 'critical thinking skills in terms of students' mathematical self-efficacy with high, medium, and low dimensions with a different time allotment for each dimension.

Abstract

Mathematical literacy ability and learning independence are very important for all students in learning mathematics. The purpose of this study was to analyze mathematical literacy skills in the reciprocal teaching model in terms of student learning independence. This research is qualitative. Students who are the subjects in this study are 8th-grade students of SMPN 7 Pontianak. In this study, the subjects were selected based on high learning independence, moderate learning independence, and low learning independence. The data analysis technique used in this research is data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Based on the results of the study, it shows that students' mathematical literacy skills in terms of high learning independence can use all indicators of mathematical literacy abilities maximally, complete each given task confidently and be able to complete tasks correctly. Students with moderate learning independence can use several indicators of mathematical literacy for a relatively long time and have a little difficulty in some of the problems that have to be done. Students at low learning independence and always expect help for the completion of given tasks.
