Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui:(1)  kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik pada pembelajaran ARIAS dengan asesmen kinerja dan pembelajaran ARIAS mencapai ketuntasan; (2) perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik pada pembelajaran ARIAS dengan asesmen kinerja, pada pembelajaran ARIAS, dan pada pembelajaran ekspositori; (3) kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik pada   pembelajaran   ARIAS dengan   asesmen   kinerja   lebih   baik   dari pembelajaran ARIAS; (4) kualitas pembelajaran, kinerja guru dan aktivitas peserta didik baik. Populasi penelitian ini adalah semua peserta didik kelas VIII MTsN Sumber, Rembang tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Teknik sampel dalam penelitian ini cluster random sampling. Data diperoleh dengan metode tes dan metode observasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa: kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik pada pembelajaran ARIAS dengan asesmen kinerja dan pembelajaran ARIAS tuntas, ada perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik pada pembelajaran ARIAS dengan asesmen kinerja, pembelajaran ARIAS, dan pembelajaran ekspositori; kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik pada pembelajaran ARIAS dengan asesmen kinerja lebih baik daripada pembelajaran ARIAS;  kualitas pembelajaran, kinerja guru dan aktivitas peserta didik baik.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) mengetahui ketuntasan belajar kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa melalui pembelajaran DSCI dengan asesmen Polya; (2) menguji perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa melalui pembelajaran DSCI dengan asesmen Polya, DSCI saja, dan ekspositori; (3) mengetahui kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa yang terbaik; (4) mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa melalui pembelajaran DSCI dengan asesmen Polya. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP N 18 Semarang tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Menggunakan teknik simple random sampling, terpilih siswa kelas VIII C (kelompok eksperimen 1), siswa kelas VIII A (kelompok eksperimen 2), dan siswa kelas VIII G (kelompok kontrol). Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji proporsi, anava satu jalur, uji LSD, dan uji Gain Ternormalisasi.Simpulan yang diperoleh adalah: (1) siswa yang dikenai pembelajaran DSCI asesmen Polya mencapai ketuntasan; (2) terdapat perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa melalui pembelajaran DSCI asesmen Polya, melalui pembelajaran DSCI, dan melalui pembelajaran ekspositori; (3) kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa melalui pembelajaran DSCI dengan asesmen Polya terbaik dibandingkan dengan yang lainnya; (4) ada peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa melalui pembelajaran DSCI dengan asesmen Polya sebesar 0,6 (sedang).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh deskripsi kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas VIII dengan pembelajaran model 4K ditinjau dari gaya kognitif field dependent (FD) dan field independent (FI). Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII I SMP Negeri 3 Kudus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan Group Embedded Figures Test (GEFT), tes kemampuan berpikir kritis dan wawancara. Analisis tes kemampuan berpikir kritis mengacu pada indikator-indikator kemampuan berpikir kritis menurut Ennis (2011) yang telah ditentukan oleh peneliti. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) jumlah siswa dengan gaya kognitif FD lebih banyak daripada jumlah siswa dengan gaya kognitif FI, (2) deskripsi kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dengan gaya kognitif FD dan gaya kognitif FI dari kelompok kuat dan kelompok lemah, (3)  siswa dari kelompok kuat lebih baik daripada siswa dari kelompok lemah pada gaya kognitif FD dan FI.The objective of the research is to describe the critical thinking abilities of students in Junior High School grade 8th using 4K learning model based on the field dependent (FD) and field independent (FI) cognitive style. The subject of this research is students of SMP N 3 Kudus grade 8th-I. The techniques to collecting data of this research are Group Embedded Figures Test (GEFT), critical thinking abilities test and interviews. The analysis of critical thinking abilities test based on the indicators of critical thinking abilities according to Ennis (2011) that is determined by the reseacher. The result of this research indicates that: (1) the number of FD students bigger than the number of FI students, (2) a description of critical thinking abilities of the FD and FI student from the strong group and the weak group, (3) the student from the strong group is better than the students from the weak group for FI and FD cognitive style.

Abstract

Tujuan  penelitian  ini adalah  untuk mengetahui  keefektifan pembelajaran matematika  dengan  Model  Knisley  dan  mendeskripsikan  kemampuan komunikasi  matematis  siswa berdasarkan  self  efficacy. Jenis penelitian  ini adalah penelitian  mixed methods dengan  explanatory sequential design. Populasinya adalah siswa  kelas  VII SMP  N  13 Magelang.  Pengambilan sampel  dilakukan  dengan teknik random sampling, diperoleh  kelas VII B sebagai kelas eksperimen  dan kelas VII A sebagai  kelas kontrol.  Subjek penelitian  2 siswa self  efficacy  tinggi dan  2 siswa self  efficacy rendah. Pengumpulan data meliputi  skala, tes, dan wawancara. Data  dianalisis  dengan uji proporsi,  uji perbedaan  rata-rata,  uji beda  rata-rata berpasangan, dan deskriptif  kualitatif.  Hasil penelitian  menunjukkan bahwa  (1) proporsi kemampuan komunikasi  matematis  siswa  kelas  eksperimen  mencapai ketuntasan  belajar klasikal 75%, (2) rata-rata  kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa   kelas   eksperimen   lebih   baik   dari   rata-rata kemampuan  komunikasi matematis  siswa  kelas  kontrol,  (3) terdapat peningkatan rata-rata  kemampuan komunikasi  matematis  siswa kelas eksperimen dalam kategori tinggi yaitu sebesar 0,72,  (4) siswa  dengan  self efficacy  tinggi  memenuhi empat  aspek  kemampuan komunikasi  matematis, dan  (5) siswa dengan  self  efficacy  rendah  memenuhi tiga aspek kemampuan komunikasi  matematis.The  purpose of this research was to determine  the effectiveness of mathematics  learning using Knisley's Models and describe students' mathematical communication skills based on self  efficacy.  The method  used in this  research is  a mixed  methods with explanatory sequential design. The population  is the seventh­grade students of SMP N 13 Magelang. Sampling was conducted by random sampling  technique,  is obtained as an experimental class in seventh  grade B and the seventh grade A as a control class. The subject of this research is 2 high self efficacy students  and 2 low self efficacy students. The data collection includes  scale, tests and interviews. Data were analyzed  by proportion test, the average difference  test,  different  average  in pairs  test, and a descriptive qualitative.  The results showed  that  (1) the  proportion of student's  mathematical  communication  skills  in experimental   class can reach  75% classical  completeness,  (2) the  average of  student's mathematical communication skils experimental  class is better than the average of student's mathematical communication skils control class, (3) there is an average increase in students' mathematical communication skills experimental  class in high category amounts 0,72, (4) students with high self efficacy meet  four aspects of mathematical communication skills, and (5) students with low self efficacy meet three aspects of mathematical communication skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) kualitas pembelajaran matematika dengan model 4K terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan karakter mandiri siswa, (2) kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa ditinjau dari gaya kognitif FD dan FI, dan (3) karakter mandiri siswa ditinjau dari gaya kognitif FD dan FI. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII-E SMP Negeri 13 Semarang. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah tes, wawancara, dan observasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan langkah-langkah yaitu tahap reduksi data, tahap penyajian, dan tahap kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) kualitas pembelajaran model 4K dalam kategori baik, (2) subjek dengan gaya kognitif FD memenuhi satu indikator kemampuan pemecahan masalah yaitu, membangun pengetahuan matematika baru melalui pemecahan masalah, (3) subjek dengan gaya kognitif FI memenuhi seluruh indikator kemampuan pemecahan masalah, (4) subjek dengan gaya kognitif FD memiliki karakter mandiri yang kurang baik, (5) subjek dengan gaya kognitif FI memiliki karakter mandiri yang baik. This research aims were determine, (1) the quality of mathematics learning with the 4K model towards problem­solving ability and self regulated learning, (2) problem­solving ability of students in terms of cognitive style FD and FI, and (3) the character of independent students in terms of cognitive style FD and FI. The research subjects are students of VII­E SMP Negeri 13 Semarang. Data collection techniques are test, interview, and observation. Data analysis was performed with steps are data reduction stage, presentation stage, and conclusion stage. The results showed that (1) the learning quality of 4K model in good category, (2) subjects with cognitive style FD only meet one indicator of problem­solving abilities, it is to build knowledge of the new mathematics through problem­solving, (3) subjects with cognitive styles FI meet all indicators of problem­solving abilities,(4) subjects with cognitive style FD have not quite good independent character, (5) subjects with cognitive styles FI have a good independent character.

Abstract

The purpose of this research are: (1) description of characteristics and (2) validate thesenior hight school of mathematics syllabus integrated character education with the project assessment, (3) test the effectiveness of the learning material of function in class X. Testing procedure of syllabus and learning used research development of Borg & Gall (1987). The data were processed with descriptive analysis, statistical test t test and regression. The results obtained by the integration of the 10 characters on the senior hight school of mathematics syllabus show a valid syllabus by experts with an average score of 4 (both categories), the maximum score of 5. Test implementation on learning reach effective: (1) the percentage of learners achieve mastery learning by 89, 5%; (2) an increase of characters curiosity of learners of meeting 1 to 2, up to 3, up to 4 each score gain of 0.17; 0.30; 0.31; (3) the influence of the curiosity of students to the learning outcomes of 48.9%, (4) the average learning outcomes of students experimental class (77.2) is better than the control class (76.2). Thus, each character can bring a change in behavior according to the character programmed and observed in the learning process in focus. Coordination learning at every level stated in the syllabus.

Abstract

Integral lipat dua dalam proses perhitungan volume bangun ruang di ruang berdimensi tiga (R3) membutuhkan sebuah ketelitian, oleh karena itu diperlukan alat atau sarana yang dapat membantu dan mengecek proses kebenarannya, sehingga nantinya dapat diperoleh hasil yang cepat, tepat dan akurat. Dalam menggambarkan bangun ruang di yang akan dihitung juga diperlukan pula sarana untuk memperlihatkan plot gambarnya. Salah satu cara yaitu dengan membuat program aplikasi dengan komputer. Maple merupakan salah satu dari beberapa software yang merupakan aplikasi komputer yang dapat digunakan untuk menyelesaikan berbagai persoalan matematika seperti integral lipat dua. Perhitungan volume bangun ruang di dengan integral lipat dua dapat menggunakan dua cara, yaitu sistem koordinat kartesius dan sistem koordinat kutub. Bangun ruang yang akan dihitung harus disketsakan dalam terlebih dahulu, selanjutnya juga harus ditentukan daerah integrasi dan fungsi yang diintegrasikannya.

Abstract

The aim of research to test students' mathematical communication used themed of PBL with scaffolding, themed of PBL and PBL achieve mastery learning;to test students' mathematical communication that used the themed of PBL with scaffolding, themed of PBL and PBL; and to test students' mathematical communication for the low, medium group, and a high-group themed of PBL with scaffolding, themed of PBL and PBL. This type of research is quantitative research. The Population is seventh grade students of SMPN 22 Semarang and the sample class VII E, F and VII VII G. Used normality test, homogenity test, equality test on average, the proportion of one-party test, one way anova test, and scheffe test. The results showed that (1) Student’s mathematical communication ability using themed of PBLwith Scaffolding strategy,themed of PBL, and PBL achieve the completeness of learning, (2) there is a difference in the classroom using the themed of PBL with scaffolding, themed of PBL, as well as PBL, (3) For the low, medium, high and there is a difference in the classroom using the themed of PBL with scaffolding, themed of PBL and PBL.

Abstract

The purposes of this research are: (1) Test the learning with LAPS-Heuristic model using performance assessment on 10th grade of Trigonometry material is complete, (2) to test the difference of students' mathematical reasoning ability on 10th grade of Trigonometry material between the learning model of LAPS-Heuristic using performance assessment, LAPS-Heuristic learning model with Expository learning model, (3) test the ability of mathematical reasoning with learning model of LAPS-Heuristik on Trigonometry material of SMK on 10th grade using performance assessment is increase. This is a quantitative research. The population is students of 10th grade of SMK 10 Semarang academic year 2016/2017 and the subject of research is selected by clustering random sampling. The results show that (1) Learning by model LAPS-Heuristic using performance assessment on 10th grade of Trigonometry material is complete (2) there are differences in students' mathematical reasoning ability on 10th grade of Trigonometry materials between LAPS-Heuristic learning model using performance assessment, LAPS-Heuristic learning model, and Expository learning model, (3) The ability of mathematical reasoning with learning model of LAPS-Heuristic on Trigonometry material of SMK class X using performance assessment increased.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find out whether Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning with authentic assessment affects the students' mathematical problem solving ability. The method of this research was quantitative research method. Its population was 11th grade of Tran Nhan Tong Senior High School Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam in academic year 2017/2018. By using the cluster random sampling, class 11A1 was selected as a control class that gained conventional learning in Vietnam, class 11A2 as an experiment class 1 that obtained PBL learning with authentic assessment, and class 11A3 as experiment 2 class that obtained PBL learning. The data collection techniques were documentation and test method. The result of the research showed that the result of mathematical problem solving test at the experiment class 1 successfully reached classical completeness more than or equal to 75% of the students in the class, and students’ mathematical problem solving ability at the experiment class 1 was better than at the experiment class 2, while students’ mathematical problem solving ability at the experiment class 2 was better than at the control class.
