Abstract

The enactment of Law Number 17 of 2023 concerning Health marks a new era in Indonesia’s legal framework through an omnibus approach aimed at harmonizing and consolidating overlapping health regulations. This study examines the legal protection of medical and health personnel in performing their professional duties as stipulated in the new Health Law and its implementing regulation, Government Regulation Number 28 of 2024. Using a normative juridical research method, the study relies on secondary legal materials, including legislation, legal doctrines, and scholarly literature. The findings indicate that Law No. 17/2023 repeals eleven previous health-related statutes and introduces a more comprehensive legal framework to strengthen healthcare governance and ensure professional accountability. The law expands the scope of legal protection for medical personnel by including standards of professional ethics, service quality, and patient health needs, which were not explicitly covered in earlier laws. Moreover, the regulation outlines the responsibilities of central and local governments, as well as healthcare facility administrators, in providing preventive and responsive legal protection. The study concludes that the 2023 Health Law represents a significant legal reform that reinforces the state’s constitutional duty to ensure fairness, legal certainty, and the protection of both healthcare providers and patients, thereby promoting a just, ethical, and sustainable health system in Indonesia.

Abstract

The archivists in the Batu City Department of Library and Archives play a pivotal role in ensuring efficient archival services for the community. This study evaluates their performance, focusing on record acquisition, management, preservation, and service delivery. Utilizing a qualitative approach, the research incorporates observations, interviews with 15 archivists, and examination of departmental records over six months. The analysis includes data reduction, modeling, and verification processes to derive comprehensive insights. The findings reveal that the archivists’ effectiveness is significantly influenced by their educational background, ongoing training, and accumulated work experience. Despite their competence, a notable gap exists in the formal academic qualifications related to archival studies. Moreover, disparities in training access further exacerbate performance inconsistencies. Consequently, while the current procedures are well-adhered, improvements are essential. To address these challenges and enhance expertise, it is recommended that archivists with formal archival education be recruited. Additionally, implementing a structured training program that offers equal participation opportunities can bridge the skill gap. Lastly, reducing non-core tasks will enable archivists to focus on their primary responsibilities, improving overall service delivery. These measures are anticipated to positively impact the department’s ability to meet community needs and enhance organizational efficiency.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a literacy-based e-learning materials for graduate students by (1) describing the results of analyzing the syllabus, the teaching materials from course convenor, the students and the lecturers’ responses and developing the e-learning protoype material; (2) conducting an expert validation and a tryout; and (3) disseminating the product. The result of this research and development study a prototype of literacy-based teaching and learning material and its assessment for graduate students in an interactive CD applying an autoplay program.

Abstract

This research aims to develop teaching materials for kindergarten teachers, PGTK lecturers, and students majoring in PGTK to improve preschoolers’ social behavior through a language creativity approach. Specifically, the objectives of the study were formulated as follows. In the first year, the study aimed (1) to describe (a) the kindergarten curriculum related to the development of children’s social behavior and (b) previous studies on social behavior and its development, and (2) to develop a prototype of the teaching materials. In the second year, the study focused on conducting expert validation and try-out activities. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) design consisting of the following procedures: (1) planning, theoretical review, and needs analysis; (2) prototype development; (3) evaluation through expert validation and try-out; and (4) product revision. The final product of this study is a prototype of teaching materials entitled Mengembangkan Kecerdasan Sosial Anak melalui Kreativitas Bahasa, intended for kindergarten teachers, PGTK lecturers, and students majoring in PGTK.

Abstract

Abstract: Most people considered that proficient in a language meant fluent in speaking. The speaking skills were always related to the listening skills. Without having good listening skills, anybody’s speaking skills would not be perfect. Therefore, the listening skills were needed in order to achieve the perfection of other language proficiency. To achieve the listening skills, especially listening to the second or foreign language on basic or beginner level, there were several alternative teaching and learning model which could be implemented. The alternative models were classified into several points of view. Determining the proper teaching and learning needed skills in choosing by considering the purpose of the listening teaching and learning, the students’ scheme, the text’s conditions, and the development of the students’ cognitive. Abstrak: Sebagian besar orang menganggap bahwa mahir berbahasa berarti mahir berbicara. Keterampilan berbicara selalu terkait dengan keterampilan menyimak.Tanpa berbekal keterampilan menyimak yang bagus, keterampilan berbicara seseorang tidak akan sempurna. Karena itu, keterampilan menyimak sangat diperlukan demi kesempurnaan keterampilan berbahasa yang lain. Untuk mencapai kompetensi menyimak, khususnya menyimak bahasa kedua/asing pada level dasar atau pemula, ada berbagai alternasi model pembelajaran yang dapat diterapkan. Alternasi model pembelajaran yang dimaksud terklasifikasi atas beberapa sudut pandang. Untuk menentukan model pembelajaran yang tepat, diperlukan kecakapan dalam memilihnya dengan mempertimbangkan tujuan pembelajaran menyimak, skema siswa, kondisi teks, dan perkembangan kognisi siswa.
