Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media interaktif untuk mendorong minat belajar siswa dalam proses pembelajaran menggunakan salah satu aplikasi media interaktif macromedia flash 8 kelas XI di MA Al-khairiyah Pipitan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE. Terdiri dari lima tahapan yaitu analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Reponden berjumlah 30 siswa, uji coba yang dilakukan yaitu uji alfa dan beta mengenai keefektifan media interaktif dilakukan oleh dua validator, yaitu satu ahli materi dan satu ahli media. Selanjutnya menyebarkan angket kepraktisan, keefektifan, dan minat belajar kepada siswa dan mewawancarai salah satu guru. Hasil penelitian ini memperoleh uji validitas dinyatakan “Sangat Valid” untuk dikembangkan dan digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran dengan hasil persentase 91,45%. Hasil uji coba kepraktisan menggunakan media interaktif macromedia flash 8 dinyatakan ”Praktis” dengan hasil persentase 82,49 %. Hasil uji coba keefektifitasan pada mata pelajaran informatika dinyatakan “Baik” dengan hasil persentase 83.61%. dan dalam minat belajar, media interaktif macromedia flash 8 terbukti mampu mendorong minat belajar siswa dalam proses pembelajaran karena hasil analisis pada data minat belajar siswa sebelum menggunakan media interaktif mendapatkan kriteria “Sedang” dengan hasil persentase 68% dan meningkat setelah menggunakan media interaktif mendapatkan kriteria “Tinggi” dengan hasil persentase 83% dari hasil tersebut terjadi peningkatan minat belajar dalam menggunakan media interaktif macromedia flash8 sebesar 14%.

Abstract

The scarcity of cooking oil and the increase in its price in Indonesia put society under pressure instead of the fact that Indonesia was the world’s largest palm oil producer. Therefore, Iwan Fals, the singer who often expressed his criticism through a song, also released a sharp criticism song entitled “Minyak Goreng.” Since this song also functioned as a criticism, it contained some linguistic features that were referred to critic the government. This study analyzes Iwan Fals’ song entitled “Minyak Goreng” by using Fairclough’s critical discourse theories. The method used is qualitative with descriptive so that the researcher interprets the data in the lyric based on the happening phenomenon. The data are analyzed in three fields: linguistic features, text production, and social practice. This research shows that Fals uses some linguistic features such as pronouns, similes, metaphors, and probability phrases to express his criticism. Fals also put himself as the people of Indonesia who suffer from this cooking oil scarcity. Besides that, Fals also shows the anger of the people to the government. This research indicates that the text shows the relationship between language, power, and social construction.

Abstract

This article aims to discuss the role of language as a scientific tool in Islamic Studies, focusing on the exploration of means of interpreting the texts of the Qur'an. As the sacred book of Islam, the Qur'an possesses profound meanings that require deep understanding and careful interpretation. In this article, one of the scholarly methods used in the interpretation of Qur'anic texts as religious language, namely scientific language, is elaborated. This research is significant in presenting the texts of the Qur'an, which constitute religious language, as objects of study in scientific thinking. To achieve this goal, library-based research is utilized with a descriptive-analytical method, which involves describing and analyzing the data found using a qualitative approach. Several aspects are outlined, including Islam as the object of study, language as a means of scientific thinking, and scientific language as a means of interpreting the texts of the Qur'an (religious language). The results of this research find that there are two methods commonly used in interpreting the Qur'an from a linguistic perspective: semantics and hermeneutics. The interpretations derived from both methods are inseparable from the basic meanings and historical context of the texts, as well as the surrounding context of the interpreted texts. Despite their methodological differences in interpreting the Qur'anic texts, both methods employ scientific language that maintains the relationship between text and context, thus producing contextual and applicable interpretations in the modern-contemporary era.  Abstrak: Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendiskusikan peran bahasa sebagai sarana ilmiah dalam studi Islam, dengan fokus pada eksplorasi sarana interpretasi teks-teks Al-Qur’an. Sebagai kitab suci agama Islam, Al-Qur’an memiliki kedalaman makna yang membutuhkan pemahaman mendalam dan interpretasi yang cermat. Dalam artikel ini, diuraikan salah satu sarana berpikir ilmiah yang dapat digunakan dalam proses interpretasi teks Al-Qur’an sebagai bahasa agama, yaitu bahasa ilmiah. Penelitian ini signifikan dilakukan dalam rangka mengetengahkan teks-teks Al-Qur’an yang merupakan bahasa agama sebagai objek studi dalam berpikir ilmiah. Untuk mendapatkan hasil tersebut, digunakan penelitian berbasis kepustakaan (library research) dengan metode deskriptif-analisis, yakni mendeskripsikan data-data yang ditemukan sekaligus menganalisisnya, dengan mengunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Di dalamnya akan diuraikan beberapa hal, diantaranya Islam sebagai objek studi, bahasa sebagai sarana berpikir ilmiah, serta bahasa ilmiah sebagai sarana dalam interpretasi teks-teks Al-Qur’an (bahasa agama). Hasil dari penelitian ini menemukan bahwa ada dua metode yang banyak digunakan dalam penafsiran al-Qur’an jika ditinjau dari aspek bahasa, yaitu semantik dan hermeneutika. Hasil interpretasi dari keduanya tidak terlepas dari makna dasar dan makna historis teks, serta konteks yang mengelilingi keberadaan teks yang diinterpretasikan. Dengan kedua metode ini, meskipun berbeda pada langkah-langkah metodisnya dalam menginterpretasikan teks Al-Qur’an, terlihat bahwa keduanya memiliki kesamaan dalam penggunaan bahasa ilmiah yang tidak melepaskan fungsi relasi teks dan konteks sehingga dapat menghasilkan interpretasi yang kontekstual dan applicable dalam era modern-kontemporer saat ini.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Work Discipline and Work Ethics directly on Employee Performance, the effect of Work Discipline and Work Ethics directly on Organizational Commitment and the effect of Work Discipline and Work Ethics indirectly through Organizational Commitment as an intervening variable on Employee Performance. This research method is quantitative with a sample size of 40 employees from the marketing division of PT Tunas Toyota Cilegon. The data analysis technique uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the SmartPLS application. The results of the study indicate that work discipline and work ethics have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, work discipline and work ethics also affect organizational commitment, organizational commitment has an effect on employee performance and work discipline and work ethics have an indirect effect on performance through organizational commitment as an intervening variable

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan kadar proksimat gelatin, bilangan iodin, dan bilangan penyabunan yang terkandung pada lemak babi dan lemak sapi sebagai acuan produk halal. Penelitian ini akan menggunakan lidah babi dan lidah sapi murni untuk mengetahui sifat-sifat kimianya yaitu analisis proksimat gelatin yang mencakup penentuan kadar abu, kadar air dan protein. Sifat lain yang dibandingkan adalah besarnya bilangan iodium dan bilangan penyabunan sebagai penentu kualitas lemak tersebut. Lidah sapi dan lidah babi terlebih dahulu di extrak lalu dirubah menjadi gelatin. Selanjutnya dilakukan parameter-parameter di atas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gelatin dari lidah sapi pada semua penentuan lebih tinggi dari gelatin lidah babi. Hal ini menandakan bahwa konsumsi lidah sapi mempunyai banyak kandungan proksimat dibandingkan lidah babi. Begitu pula kualitas gelatin lidah sapi juga cukup tinggi dibandingkan gelatin lidah babi.

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effectiveness of digital application-based learning media in enhancing student learning outcomes in PAI subjects. A total of eleven studies were gathered and analyzed through SPSS 27 software. The research methodology employed was Meta-Analysis. Results indicated a notable improvement in learning outcomes, as the highest score before utilizing digital applications was 78.96, and the lowest was 44.69. Following the implementation of digital applications, the highest score rose to 91.84 and the lowest to 81.32. Statistical analyses, including paired sample t-test and correlation test, demonstrated a significant disparity in learning outcomes pre- and post-use digital applications, with a p-value <0.05. The findings suggest that digital applications effectively enhance students' learning outcomes, offering flexibility, interactivity, and appeal that heighten learner engagement.

Abstract

 ABSTRAKDialect, according to many Arabic linguists, refers to language and letters used by a particular community that cause differences in the pronunciation even in the way particular letters are used among different societies.Dialect is variation in language depending on the users, that is the language as it is commonly used by the language users. Dialect; therefore, is dependent upon who use the language and where the users of the language reside. The geographical aspects shape the regional dialect and the social aspects shape the social dialect.This descriptive quantitative research aims to investigate the factors and aspects that shape some dialects in Arabic.The findings demonstrate that the factors influencing dialects include the geographical width of the area, the cross-language interaction and the different strata of the society.Keywords: Dialect, Arabic linguists, Causes and Elements

Abstract

Most of the generation (Arabic linguistic academics) have not comprehended the linguistic theories which initiated by Al-Jahid. This study aims to research on the concept of communication with the signs in Al-Jahid works. To identify these problems in depth and thoroughly, qualitative descriptive study was used. The primary data sources of this research were various sources, mainly Al Jahid book with documentation from the works of Al-Jahid and observation techniques based on the other books about Jahid ‘s point of view, such as Kamal Bisyri and other linguists. The results of this study concluded that: Al-Jahiz is an Arabic language expert who discussed the theory of non-verbal communication. In the case of learning a language, we also have to comprehend the theory of communication, especially communication with signs by Al-Jahiz. His thoughts were followed by several contemporary scholars. Thus, it is highly recommended to the Arabic researchesr to figure out the works of previous Arabic scholars which had been discussing about contemporary linguistic.

Abstract

This article discussed Arabic language learning integration skills in Arabic Language Education at UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya. This research was a form of commitment to the quality of Arabic language education. Besides, it was prominent research to ensure the relevance of the curriculum and the effectiveness of Arabic language learning in the Arabic department at UIN Sunan Ampel. Moreover, this research aimed to improve educational programs and learning strategies that are more suitable to students' needs in facing the challenges of an increasingly complex era. A qualitative approach was used with observation, interviews and documentation with data sources from informants consisting of study program heads, school principals, Arabic teachers and PLP 2 program students as well as written documents related to the integration of four language skills in learning Arabic. The results of this research indicated that the comprehensive integration of the four language skills in the Arabic curriculum as stipulated in the madrasah independent curriculum provided significant potential for improving students' communication skills in Arabic as a global communication tool.

Abstract

Socratic Seminar is a learning method introduced by Socrates where a series of questions are used as main tool in conversations or discussions. It is generally accepted they many students cannot speak English because they think that English is difficult and they are afraid when they speak English incorrectly. Accordingly, this thesis has been written with the aim of knowing the implementation of Socratic Seminar method in teaching speaking. The subjects were 36 students at the 10th grade majoring in Kecantikan 1, State Vocational High School Purwokerto for the 2022/2023 academic year. This study used a descriptive qualitative design which was collected through observation, interviews and documentation as data. The data were analyzed qualitatively and the analysis process included data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion or verification. The results showed that the teacher said that the Socratic method could not only be used to assess students' ability to speak but also their confidence to speak in front of the class. The final results of the research show about the teacher's efforts in managing the class using the Socratic Seminar method with 3 stages. First preparation, implementation and evaluation
