Abstract

Islamic contexts help stimulate students' mathematical abilities and develop their religious thinking. Therefore, this research aims to describe students' thinking process in solving mathematical literacy problems adapted from PISA questions using Islamic contexts. This research is qualitative-descriptive in nature with the purposive sampling technique used to select the three best teams competing on the National Mathematics Olympiad organized by the Mathematics Education Study Program of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta in 2018. Each school level (Islamic elementary school (MI), Islamic junior high school (MTs), and Islamic senior high school (MA)) was represented by a team of 3 students. Data were collected through tests of mathematical literacy in Islamic contexts that matched PISA contexts and through interviews. Then, the data collected were analysed using triangulation techniques. The results showed that the students' thinking process in solving mathematical literacy problems in Islamic contexts was in accordance with Bayer’s thinking process theory. In general, the students already engaged in a thought process starting from information processing to decision-making. In fact, some MTs students had reached the thinking level of analysing relationships, synthesising problems or arguments, and conducting evaluations using several criteria suitable for the MA level. So it can be concluded that he Islamic contexts used in mathematical literacy questions tend to draw students' attention to the problems and help them solve those problems. Abstract

AbstractThis research aims at disclosing empirically with regard to general illustration of SMA Saraswati and religious education service against the student. This research data is collected by researcher through interview, observation, questionnaire and document. The research outcome shows: (1) Since the establishment in 1952, SMA Saraswati 1 has taught the religious education in accordance with religion they embrace and is taught by same religious teacher. Nevertheless, this school has not provided a special room for the student to perform worship in accordance with the religion. (2) All GPA has had academic qualification with background of religious education (link and match). (3) The religious service of Islam, Christian and Buddhist has not reached “ideal quality” at this school. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan secara empirik tentang gambaran umum SMA Saraswati dan layanan pendidikan agama terhadap peserta didik. Data penelitian ini dikumpulkan peneliti melalui wawancara, observasi, kuesioner dan dokumen. Hasil penelTitian ini menunjukkan: (1) SMA Saraswati 1 sejak berdiri 1952 telah mengajarkan pendidikan agama sesuai agama yang dianut peserta didiknya dan diajarkan oleh pendidik yang seagama. Namun, sekolah ini belum menyediakan tempat (ruang khusus) kepada peserta didik untuk melaksanakan ibadah sesuai agamanya. (2) Seluruh GPA telah memiliki kualifikasi  akademik dengan latar belakang pendidikan guru agama (link and match). (3) Layanan pendidikan agama Islam, Kristen dan Buddha di sekolah ini, belum mencapai “kualitas ideal”.

Abstract

ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) is the largest integration effort applied in developing countries in Southeast Asia. By the implementation of MEA, It will create a free market with the movement of goods, services, foreign investment, labor and freer movement which is covers approximately 590 million people. By the implementation of the free market, then the market will work without some distortion. A logical consequence of these condition is high competitiveness and challenge to be able to compete. Under these conditions, the ideal leader is needed to achieve the vision and mission of the nation and constantly competitive in the competition that will happen. This study will be analyze and assessed the benefits of visionary leadership to face MEA 2015. The type of visionary leadership is important because this leadership type is emphasized that a leader must develop social architecture and to encourage people to be able to cooperate and raced in creating their creativity. Thus, the visionary leadership is expected to be a solution for the leaders in this country to be able to stay ahead in the competition and could lead this nation into a production base not to be a market base. Abstrak Masyarakat Ekonomi ASEAN (MEA) merupakan upaya integrasi terbesar yang diterapkan di negara berkembang di kawasan Asia Tenggara. Dengan diterapkannya MEA, akan tercipta pasar bebas dengan pergerakan barang, jasa, investasi asing, tenaga kerja serta pergerakan yang menjadi lebih bebas yang meliputi sekitar 590 juta orang. Dengan diterapkannya pasar bebas tersebut, maka pasar akan bekerja tanpa adanya distorsi. Konsekuensi logis yang muncul adalah terciptanya daya saing dan tantangan yang tinggi untuk dapat berkompetisi. Dengan kondisi demikian, pemimpin yang ideal sangat dibutuhkan untuk dapat meraih visi misi bangsa dan tetap kompetitif dalam persaingan yang akan terjadi. Dalam penelitian ini akan dianalisa dan dikaji manfaat dari tipe kepemimpinan visioner dalam menghadapi MEA 2015. Tipe Kepemimpinan visioner menjadi penting karena dalam tipe kepemimpinan ini ditekankan bahwa seorang pemimpin harus mengembangkan arsitektur sosial dan mendorong orang-orang untuk dapat bekerjasama dan berpacu dalam menciptakan kreativitas mereka. Sehingga, tipe kepemimpinan visioner diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi bagi para pemimpin di negeri ini untuk dapat tetap unggul dalam persaingan yang semakin ketat serta dapat mendorong bangsa ini menjadi production base bukan menjadi market base.

Abstract

Nowadays, we can see that schools, both public and private, have been established in many villages and cities. Competition has also increased. These schools began competing to offer various advantages that can be obtained by the community, ranging from interesting activity programs, achievements that have been achieved, complete facilities to affordable prices. However, in the end, there were still schools that began to be quiet, and did not get students until they were forced to close. Although schools are non-profit institutions, they must still be managed professionally so that their purpose is to help educate the nation's children, improve the quality of human resources and create superior generations in the future can run optimally. In responding to this, a marketing strategy is needed, one of the techniques is to segment the market. Market segmentation in the context of educational services is an attempt to divide a heterogeneous market into more homogeneous groups. This can be done based on the same characteristics, interests, needs and level of socio-economic status. This research uses literature study techniques by searching for data and information through books and scientific journals. This research aims to contribute to the development of marketing strategies in the education sector and provide practical implications for managers of educational institutions in designing more effective marketing strategies.

Abstract

AbstractThis study is intended to develop sequence and series materials based on the Modified of Personalized System of Instruction (MPSI). The MPSI is a private-based or modified individual with a cooperative learning system using a modular system where learners are assisted by a tutor, the system is the one that has a role as tutor here as modified from the original of PSI . The developed teaching material is a high school level e-module. The design used is the ADDIE model of the five stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The analysis phase includes needs analysis and curriculum analysis. The design phase produces MPSI-based e-modules. The development stage produces teaching materials that have been validated by experts and practitioners get very feasible criteria, based on aspects of content feasibility, linguistic aspects, data presentation aspects, and graphic aspects. The implementation stage was carried out by 70 students with above-average of minimum criteria. The evaluation stage shows that the results of the analysis of the e-module assessment questionnaire data by students get appropriate. That this teaching material in the form of an e-module is worthy of being an alternative teaching material at the high school level. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar barisan dan deret berbasis Modifikasi pada Personalized System of Instruction (MPSI). MPSI merupakan pembelajaran berbasis personal atau individu yang sudah dimodifikasi dengan sistem cooperatif learning menggunakan sistem modular dimana peserta didik dibantu oleh seorang tutor, yang berperan sebagai tutor di sini adalah sistem sebagai modifikasi dari model PSI asal. Dalam bahan ajar MPSI yang berperan sebagai tutor adalah sistem. Bahan ajar yang dikembangkan berupa e-modul tingkat SMA. Desain yang digunakan adalah model ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahapan yaitu tahapan analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Tahap analisis meliputi analisis kebutuhan dan analisis kurikulum. Tahap desain menghasilkan e-modul berbasis MPSI. Tahap pengembangan menghasilkan bahan ajar yang telah divalidasi oleh pakar dan praktisi mendapatkan kriteria sangat layak, berdasarkan aspek kelayakan isi, aspek kebahasaan, aspek penyajian data, dan aspek kegrafikaan. Tahap implementasi dilakukan 70 siswa dengan capaian di atas rata-rata Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum (KKM). Tahap evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa hasil analisis data angket penilaian e-modul oleh siswa mendapatkan kriteria layak. Dengan demikian bahan ajar yang dikembangkan berupa e-modul ini layak menjadi alternatif bahan ajar di tingkat SMA.

Abstract

Artikel pengabdian ini ingin mengetahui pelaksanaan pelatihan administrasi perkantoran dan hasil dari pelatihan tersebut Untuk Tenaga Outsourching di PT Anugerah Pratama Pamekasan. Metode pengabdian yang digunakan adalah metode model pijar yang tahapannya melalui analisa kebutuhan, perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Hasil pelatihan menunjukan bahwasanya Pelatihan administrasi perkantoran untuk tenaga outsourcing di PT Anugerah Pratama Pamekasan berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan peserta secara signifikan dalam berbagai aspek pekerjaan administratif. Evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam pengelolaan dokumen, penggunaan teknologi perkantoran, keterampilan komunikasi, manajemen waktu, dan etika profesionalisme. Hasil ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi operasional perusahaan dan kontribusi positif dari tenaga outsourcing dalam lingkungan kerja.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the integration of Islamic character education with Islamic legal values in holistic learning context as response to educational system fragmentation separating religious aspects from practical application. Moral degradation in globalization era demands character education revitalization integrating fundamental Islamic law values as foundation for noble morals formation. Research employs qualitative paradigm with library research approach, analyzing literature through thematic analysis to identify integration patterns and key concepts. Results indicate integration can be implemented through three models: integrative thematic approach, experiential learning, and collaborative learning emphasizing direct experience and contextual problem-solving. Theoretical framework integrates ontological, epistemological, and axiological components in four levels: philosophical, theoretical, methodological, and practical with maqashid al-syariah principles as evaluation foundation. Research contributes to developing Islamic education models responsive to contemporary challenges while maintaining authentic Islamic identity, producing graduates with excellent character and deep Islamic law understanding for civil society formation.

Abstract

Artikel ini menjelaskan tentang penerapan strategi REACT dan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa yang meliputi kemampuan berpikir lancar, kemampuan berpikir luwes, kemampuan berpikir asli dan kemampuan berpikir rinci. Penelitian dilakukan di Madrasah Tsanawiyah di Jakarta dengan menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen yang melibatkan 55 siswa sebagai sampel. Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa: a) Kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa yang awalnya rendah meningkat setelah diterapkan strategi REACT dan lebih baik dari pada siswa yang pembelajarannya dilakukan secara konvensional; b) Strategi REACT dapat mewadahi siswa untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kreatifnya terutama pada aspek kelancaran dan keluwesan berpikir; c) Terdapat relasi “berpengaruh positif” antara strategi REACT terhadap aspek kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis;

Abstract

This current study has increased the amount of studies on metadiscourse features in English and Arabic, as well as cultural groupings, by examining the usage of hedging in linguistic research articles published in English and Arabic. The technique was qualitative, with a corpus of 40 articles from six linguistics journals used. This study aimed to identify similarities and differences in the use of hedges in native English and native Arabic linguistics research publications. Hyland's taxonomy of metadiscourse markers was used to analyze the language categories. The contrastive analysis of English and Arabic in this article was a systematic investigation of language pairs to uncover differences and similarities. Arabic articles are not more dominant than English articles in the Hidges structure. The result showed that hedges in English is greater than in Arabic research articles. From those findings, it might have a substantial influence on the teaching and learning of Arabic as a foreign language in English context.

Abstract

The escalating global environmental crisis demands active participation from educational institutions, particularly Islamic institutions with unique theological foundations for environmental stewardship. This research addresses the gap between Islamic values and modern environmental management by analyzing the innovative “Eco-Pesantren Model” at SMPI Mambaul Ulum, identifying implementation mechanisms, and evaluating impacts on students’ environmental awareness. Using qualitative case study methodology with participatory observation, in-depth interviews with 25 key informants, and document analysis, this research develops an integrated model combining spiritual transformation with practical environmental management. The study introduces “Ecological Tauhid” concept, integrating modern environmental principles with Islamic values through Contextual Environmental Fiqh. Implementation includes four programs: Zero Waste Islami (85% consistent waste sorting), Blessed Energy (40% electricity reduction), Water of Life (ablution water reduction from 12 to 3 liters), and Islamic value-based environmental curriculum (environmental fiqh understanding increased from 72 to 86 points). The “Environmentally Conscious Family” program achieved 78% family participation with 60% plastic waste reduction. This research contributes the “Ecological Tauhid” paradigm as a new framework for Islamic environmental education, providing a replicable model supporting SDGs 4, 13, and 15.
