Abstract

Nowadays, we can see that schools, both public and private, have been established in many villages and cities. Competition has also increased. These schools began competing to offer various advantages that can be obtained by the community, ranging from interesting activity programs, achievements that have been achieved, complete facilities to affordable prices. However, in the end, there were still schools that began to be quiet, and did not get students until they were forced to close. Although schools are non-profit institutions, they must still be managed professionally so that their purpose is to help educate the nation's children, improve the quality of human resources and create superior generations in the future can run optimally. In responding to this, a marketing strategy is needed, one of the techniques is to segment the market. Market segmentation in the context of educational services is an attempt to divide a heterogeneous market into more homogeneous groups. This can be done based on the same characteristics, interests, needs and level of socio-economic status. This research uses literature study techniques by searching for data and information through books and scientific journals. This research aims to contribute to the development of marketing strategies in the education sector and provide practical implications for managers of educational institutions in designing more effective marketing strategies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai manajemen evaluasi Kurikulum Merdeka terhadap aspek religiositas peserta didik di MTs Al-Washliyah Leuwidamar. Pokok permasalahan yang diangkat adalah sejauh mana Kurikulum Merdeka mampu memengaruhi peningkatan aspek religiositas siswa, serta bagaimana manajemen evaluasi diterapkan dalam mengukur keberhasilan tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis efektivitas Kurikulum Merdeka dalam membentuk karakter religius peserta didik, serta mengidentifikasi kendala yang dihadapi dalam proses evaluasinya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Metode Kuantitatif Deskriptif, yang mana dilakukan untuk mengukur hubungan dan pengaruh antara implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka terhadap Aspek Religiositas Peserta Didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kurikulum Merdeka memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap penguatan aspek religiositas peserta didik. Namun, terdapat beberapa kendala dalam manajemen evaluasi, seperti kurangnya instrumen evaluasi yang terfokus pada aspek religiositas, dan keterbatasan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) yang memahami secara mendalam konsep Kurikulum Merdeka. Meskipun Kurikulum Merdeka berpotensi meningkatkan aspek religiositas peserta didik, efektivitasnya sangat dipengaruhi oleh manajemen evaluasi yang baik. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pengembangan lebih lanjut dalam instrumen evaluasi dan peningkatan kapasitas tenaga pendidik untuk mendukung optimalisasi evaluasi kurikulum tersebut.

Abstract

Geography education is an integral part of the education curriculum in Indonesia, especially at the senior secondary education level. This research is intended to find out how high school geography teachers who are members of the Subject Teachers' Conference (MGMP) in DKI Jakarta utilize various learning resources. The research method used was a survey using questionnaires to geography teachers. The respondents in this study were 15 people who were geography teachers from various high schools who were active in the DKI Jakarta MGMP. Data was collected through a questionnaire which included questions about the type of learning resources used, frequency of use, effectiveness according to teacher perceptions, and obstacles faced in using these learning resources. The analytical method applied in this study is the use of descriptive statistics. Based on research results, it shows that the majority of geography teachers use a variety of learning resources in teaching, including textbooks, digital materials, online sources, and other sources. This research provides valuable insights for improving curriculum and teacher training in the area of using learning resources in geography learning in high school. Thus, the use of learning resources by high school Geography teachers at MGMP DKI Jakarta highlights the importance of diversification, quality and accessibility of learning resources in improving the quality of Geography learning. Collaboration between the government, educational institutions and educational groups is needed to facilitate the use of diverse and quality learning resources for Geography teachers in DKI Jakarta.

Abstract

This study employed an observational analytic design with a cross-sectional approach to examine the impact of hospital brand image on patient loyalty in private Islamic hospitals in Mataram. Data were collected from 223 patients at RSI Siti Hajar Mataram using structured questionnaires. The sample was selected through proportional stratified random sampling, ensuring representation across various hospital care classes.The findings of this study reveal that: (1) a positive hospital brand image significantly correlates with patient loyalty (p ≤ 0.001); (2) 96.5% of patients with a positive perception of the hospital’s image demonstrated high loyalty; (3) demographic factors, such as age, gender, and education level, influence patients’ perceptions of the hospital brand image; and (4) Muslim patients exhibited higher loyalty levels compared to non-Muslim patients, highlighting the relevance of Islamic values in healthcare services.The study underscores the critical importance of developing a positive brand image to enhance patient loyalty. Hospitals should adopt comprehensive strategies to improve service quality, ensure effective communication, and align their services with patients’ cultural and religious values. These efforts can foster trust, strengthen the hospital’s reputation, and secure long-term patient retention, particularly in culturally sensitive contexts.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to determine the primary factors that contribute to the mortality rate of COVID-19 in Indonesia, with a specific focus on age, comorbidities, and vaccination status. A retrospective analysis was performed utilizing patient data obtained from the West Lombok Health Office in the year 2020. The findings indicated that individuals aged 59 years or older had a considerably higher risk of mortality, with an odds ratio of 0.065 (95% confidence interval: 0.014 - 0.305). Comorbidities, specifically hypertension and diabetes mellitus, were found to be substantial risk factors. The odds ratio for hypertension was 63.64 (95% CI: 1.232 - 30.608), while the odds ratio for diabetes mellitus was 2.00 (95% CI: 1.593 - 2.512). The study revealed that being vaccinated considerably decreased the likelihood of death, with an odds ratio of 0.071 (95% CI: 0.015 - 0.334). Nevertheless, engaging in self-isolation was found to greatly elevate the likelihood of mortality, as indicated by an odds ratio of 195.429 (95% confidence interval: 22.894 - 1668.196). The Chi-Square test revealed a statistically significant association between vaccination status and COVID-19 mortality, with a p-value of 0.000 < 0.05. The logistic regression analysis revealed that the type of isolation had a very significant and large effect on COVID-19 mortality. The odds ratio (Exp(B)) was 96.604, showing a strong association between the type of isolation and the mortality rate. The p-value was 0.000, further confirming the statistical significance of this relationship. Therefore, the type of isolation plays a critical role in determining the death rate of COVID-19 patients. These findings emphasize the significance of immunization programs and efficient isolation measures in decreasing COVID-19 mortality. In summary, this study offers significant information that can be used to develop more focused health policies in Indonesia. It emphasizes the crucial importance of vaccination and isolation measures in effectively managing the COVID-19 pandemic. Gaining insight into these factors can assist in customizing health treatments to mitigate risks and enhance clinical outcomes for COVID-19 patients in Indonesia

Abstract

This study aims to improve listening skills of English class in Tangerang through digital audio book. This research method used a quantitative with one group pretest-posttest. The sample of this study is 30 students. This study was conducted by providing three treatments, accompanied by a pretest-posttest. The result shows that the average score of pretest is 43 and the average score of posttest is 73.5 with the gained score between them is 30.5. Based on the calculations, the researcher had obtained a score of degrees of freedom or df = 29, and this study used a degree of significance of 5%. By comparing the observation results of observation score = 0.712 in degrees of significance of 5%, the authors concluded that the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. It means that digital audio books can improve students' listening skills at English class in Tangerang.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze and examine more deeply how conflict management in the perspective of the Qur'an and Philosophy of Science helps to solve problems wisely, especially those that occur in Islamic educational institutions. The research method used in this study is a qualitative study literature method (library research). The source of data obtained is by searching for data sources through scientific articles or journals, E-Books, or other sources of reading related to the research topic. The results of this study show that conflict management, listed in surah Al-Baqarah verse 176, surah An-Nisa verse 35 and surah Al-Hujurat verse 10, ontology is an effort to manage the occurrence of a problem that occurs in organizational institutions both internally and externally, epistemologically conflict management can be carried out in various ways, one of which is deliberation, and axiologically conflict management aims to enable a leader to use verses  and the philosophy theory as the basis for resolving conflicts, controlling a problem that occurs and producing an improvement. ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini menganalisis dan mengkaji lebih dalam bagaimana manajemen konflik dalam perspektif Al-Qur’an dan Filsafat ilmu membantu menyelesaikan masalah dengan bijak hususnya yang terjadi dilembaga Pendidikan islam. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif study literature (library research). Sumber data yang diperoleh yaitu dengan mencari sumber data melalui Artikel ilmiah atau Jurnal, E-Book, atau sumber bacaan laninnya yang terkait dengan topik penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa manajemen konflik, tercantum pada surah Al-Baqarah ayat 176, surah An-Nisa ayat 35 dan surah Al-Hujurat ayat 10, Secara ontology adalah sebuah upaya mengelola terjadinya sebuah masalah yang terjadi dilembaga organisasi baik internal maupun eksternal, secara epistimologi manajemen konflik dapat dilakukan dengan berbagai macam cara salah satunya adalah musyawarah, dan secara aksiologi manajemen konflik bertujuan seorang pemimpin dapat menggunakan ayat-ayat  tersebut dan teory filasata tersebut  sebagai landasan dalam menyelesaiakan konflik,mengendalikan sebuah masalah yang terjadi dan menghasilkan sebuah perbaikan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan dan menganalisis perubahan sosial pada masyarakat sebagai dampak interaksi sosial yang terjadi dengan wisatawan dan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengarui perubahan sosial pada masyarakat akibat interaksi masyarakat lokal dengan wisatawan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data yang digunakan penelitian ini yaitu wawancara mendalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) perubahan sosial pada hakikatnya adalah kegiatan yang melekat pada kehidupan sehari-hari bagi individu yang bermukim di wilayah. Umumnya perubahan sosial yang sulit untuk berubah adalah kebiasaan yang menjadi peninggalan leluhur seperti misalnya kegiatan upacara ritual dalam meminta doa kepada leluhur guna mendapatkan keselamatan dan kesehatan di dunia, dan (2) interaksi langsung yang terjadi antara wisatawan dengan penduduk lokal memberikan perubahan. Pembangunan dalam masyarakat juga dapat mengadopsi trend modernisasi melalui penggunaan alat telekomomunikasi (handphone) penggunaan fasilitas internet dan pengembangan teknologi informasi.This study aims to find and analyze social changes in society as an impact of social interactions that occur with tourists and to find out what factors influence social changes in society due to interactions between local communities and tourists. The research method used is descriptive qualitative using a descriptive qualitative approach. The data used in this study were in-depth interviews. The results of the study indicate that (1) social change is essentially an activity that is inherent in everyday life for individuals who live in the area. Generally, social changes that are difficult to change are habits that are ancestral legacies such as ritual ceremonies in asking for prayers to ancestors in order to obtain safety and health in the world, and (2) direct interactions that occur between tourists and local residents provide change. Development in society can also adopt modernization trends through the use of telecommunication devices (cell phones), the use of internet facilities and the development of information technology.

Abstract

The main objective of this study is to investigate how peer tutoring can be used as an effective method to enhance students' motivation in learning PAI at SMK Sabilu El-Muhtadin, Pandeglang. Compared to traditional teaching methods, this approach involves students from class XI acting as tutors to their peers in class X. To gain insights into the implementation of this method, a qualitative descriptive approach and field research were conducted, which focused on the PAI teacher and the students in both classes. The research used a range of data collection techniques, including observation, interviews, and document analysis, and various data processing methods such as data collection, editing, classification, and reduction were employed. The findings of this study suggest that the implementation of peer tutoring has had a positive impact on students' learning motivation, and the teachers have successfully adopted this approach in the classroom. Furthermore, the students have demonstrated a more active involvement in the learning process, which is supported by the use of diverse teaching methods.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul ajar dengan menggunakan model Problem Based Learning untuk memfasilitasi kemampuan literasi matematis siswa pada materi peluang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada salah satu MTs di Kota Tangerang Selatan dan Kota Bekasi, pada tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan dengan model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul ajar memiliki kriteria sangat valid berdasarkan penilaian ahli dan praktisi, dengan persentase masing-masing sebesar 93% dan 94%, serta praktis menurut validasi pengguna dengan persentase sebesar 83,5%. Tingkat keefektifan modul ajar berdasarkan nilai siswa yang mencapai KKM sekolah masing-masing yaitu memperoleh kriteria efektif. Hasil respon siswa menunjukkan bahwa modul ajar yang dikembangkan memperoleh kriteria sangat baik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul ajar yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif, sehingga modul ajar layak digunakan guru sebagai alternatif bahan ajar yang mendukung pembelajaran, khususnya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi matematis siswa.
