Abstract

Morphometrics is a field that deals with variations and changes in the form (size and shape) of an organism or object. Anthropogenic is a human activity not only limited to the use or utilization of coastal resources, but also can be restorative and protective, thus causing complex disruption. The purpose of this study was to determine the morphometric differences of the flowers and fruits of R.apiculata mangroves in two regions with different anthropogenic activities in the mangrove ecosystem of Dumai City. This research was carried out in September 2019. From the results of the study it was found that in areas polluted by anthropogenic activity the average morphometrics of fruit (length and width) and leaves (length, width and length of the stems) Rhizophora apiculata were lower than those in the area not polluted by anthropogenic activity. At station I the oil content ranged from 0,0975 to 0,1251 ppm classified as polluted and at station II ranged from 0,072 to 0,111 ppm classified as not polluted.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the treatment of waste water hotel and see Implemantation Decree of the Minister of Environment No.52/MENLH/10/1995 concerning the Waste water Quality Hotel by five-star hotel in the city of Pekanbaru. The method used in this research is the survey and interview. Based on the analysis we found that the rate of decrease in the content of pollutants in the waste water hotel in reducing the content of pollutants in the waste water for parameters BOD, COD, TSS and pH respectively 72%, 75%, 25% and 16%. IPL Cability levels in the lower levels of waste water sample parameters for the parameters BOD, COD, TSS and pH respectively 60.0%, 30.0%, 50.0% and 87.5%. IPLC analysis results in Pekanbaru compared with the Waste water Quality Standard Hotel, pollutant levels are still above the environmental quality standards.

Abstract

Completion of the transportation problems in the city of Pekanbaru currently only looked at in terms of congestion, but not touching insights from environmental aspects such as performance air pollution and noise levels. This research was conducted at the observation point road ahead Repair Tambusai lord Eastern Daihatshu, road Tuanku Tambusai West Side Mall SKA, North Soekarno Hatta street front retail outlets, street front Soekarno Hatta South Hotel Ibis Pekanbaru. V / C Ratio highest in the afternoon rush hour on the road ahead Tambusai lord Stations Daihatsu ie 0.86 pelyanan road performance E. Quality Standard ambient NOx emissions do not exceed the threshold of ambient quality standards, the NOx emission = 281.76 mg/m3. Quality Standard ambient CO emissions do not exceed the threshold of ambient quality standards, namely emission = 7456.79 mg/m3, the noise level over the limit of noise that is 71.41 dB (A). To balance the load reduction in pollutant emissions and noise levels at the flyover plan with the plan of special bus lane traffic volume assumptions have to move 25% of the transfer of the road users of private vehicles and motorbikes switch to using mass public transport vehicles ie Trans Metro bus Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Sub chronic Characteristics Study of Hazardous waste fly ash Pulp and Paper Industry PT Riau Andalan Pulp and Paper aimed to observed hazardous waste characteristics, both physical or toxically characteristics (TCLP, LD50, and Sub chronic), to observe the influence of fly ash doses to mice trough toxic sub chronic characteristics tes . The research methods used survey and experimental method. Survey method is used to analyze certificate of analysis data from fly ash characteristic tesed .Experimental method is used for sub chronic tes to mice animals tes in 90 days with dosage, control (0 mg/kg body weight ), low (5 mg/kg body weight), medium (50 mg/kg body weigh), and high (500 mg/kg body weight). Results of this research showed that fly ash from Pulp and Paper Industry PT RAPP passed characteristics tes of explosive, flammable, reactive and toxic characteristics (TCLP, LD50, and Sub chronic). Dosage of fly ash level in 0 mg/kg body weight, 5 mg/kg body weight, 50 mg/kg body weight, 500 mg/kg body weight for 90 days are not influences for increasing the weight of mice body, food and beverage intake, metabolism of carbohydrates, proteins and fats, hematology and NOAEL value is over 500 mg/kg weight of body.  Based on this research had been concluded that fly ash from Pulp and Paper Industry PT RAPP not identified as hazardous waste and can be submitted to KLHK for do exceptions study as hazardous waste in accordance with article 191 PP 101 Year 2014.

Abstract

Abstract

This research was conducted on August 2013 at Pesumpahan Coast and Pisang Coast waters in West Sumatera with the purpose to examine the abudance of dinoflagellata epibentik from genera Ostreopsis, Prorocentrum and Gambierdiscus that sticks to seagrass Halophyla and macroalgae Padina and also to know the effect of the degradation of the coral reefs toward the increase of dinoflagellata epibentik. The method used was survey method. The analysis and identification were done in laboratory of Sciences Environmental Post Graduate Program Universitas Riau. the abudance of dinoflagellata epibentik from genera Ostreopsis, Prorocentrum and Gambierdiscus in Pesumpahan Coast was not different with the one in Pisang Coast. The degradation of coral reefs did not effect the increase of dinoflagellata epibentik but more to the presence of seagrass and makroalgae as the place of dinoflagellata epibentik to stick on
