Abstract

The development of enrichment book is needed to support the learning process. The enrichment book is a textbook companion book. The use of this book is important. The availability of enrichment books is still small. This enrichment book meets the characteristics of the curriculum 2013, based on the text genre. The purpose of this research is to develop an enrichment book of writing short story text which contains local wisdom. The content of local wisdom is integrated to inspire students’ awareness to love and appreciate local wisdom as well as to follow the values of local wisdom. This research used Research and Development (R&D) research design from Borg, and Gall. The result of this research is the enrichment book of writing short story text which contains local wisdom as alternative learning material in short story text writing material. The existence of local wisdom can be used as a means of learning in instilling positive values. Also, the book is capable of creating innovative learning

Abstract

The learning-media subject aims for students to have the competence of makinga variety of instructional media. In fact, the student‟s competences in designing, creating, and displaying the instructional media are not maximized since the media made by students is often not discussed in the class. A comprehensive measurement of aspects of learning; covering aspects of the process, performance, and product; can be done using authentic assessment approaches. The results show that the contextual elements of authentic assessment approach can improve students' competence in designing, creating, and displaying graphics media. It also change their attitudes and interests from negative to positive. it is suggested that lecturers discuss the students‟ project in the lecture. Unnes is expected to improve the facilities of learning media that can lead students to be more creative and innovative in creating instructional media. Abstract

In developing the language teaching evaluation system, communicative competence must be the most important thing to refer to. Thus, it is clear that the grading system used by elementary school teachers needs to be evaluated. The proses of datas analysis were focused on writing skill evaluation design which was appropriate to contextual approach and class based grading. The conclusion of this research was that the writing skill evaluation used by elementary student in Magelang was not the same, every group based on different teaching manual plan or “RPP”, and different manual books. The way and the time for evaluation were also different. The type of questions for writing skill evaluation in Magelang elementary school were multiple choices, short question and essay. There are some evaluations and writing skill type questions which were appropriate with the basic evaluation on teaching manual plan and which were inappropriate with it. The character of contextual approach was not fix with the teaching manual plan given. The teaching evaluation system applied contextual approach, while the technique of grading applied the class based grading with the minimum quality. Abstract

Children with mild mental retardation hereinafter referred to as CMMR experience cognitive impairment so that a variety of linguistic deficit exists. Nevertheless, their language skills can be optimized because within their inner language ability there is a Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD). This study aims to describe and explain the patterns of words, phrases, sentences, and the average length of utterances in the CMMR speech based on the minimum and maximum ability. This research approach is a qualitative one that is observationally controlled through a cross-sectional design. In this study, the researcher positioned herself as a key instrument because she acts as a human instrument that serves to fix the research focus, data sources, data collection, data reduction, and data presentation, and to draw conclusions/verification of the findings. The research data were in the form of written stories, conversations, and records of field data. The background the research was SLB Negeri Ungaran Semarang. The source of the data was the MMRC of Year 5. The technique of collecting data was recording and observation. The data were validated using data triangulation. Data analysis included (1) data reduction, (2) data presentation, and (3) inference or verification of the results. The findings of this study were as follows. (1) Based on the maximum capability, the word productivity was that the noun increased by 86%, the verbs by 81%, function words by 75%, adjectives by 76%, pronouns by 78%, numerals by 83%, and adverbs by 75%. (2) Based on the maximum capacity, the productivity of phrases was that the prepositional phrases increased by 72%, nominal phrases by 88%, verbal phrases by 70%, numeral phrases by 76%, pronominal phrases by 50%, conjunctive phrases by 100%, and adverbial phrases by 100%. (3) Based on the number of clauses related to the minimal capabilities, the sentence productivity found in the form of a simple sentences and can not be found in neither compound nor complex sentences and based on the maximum capabilities productivity of simple sentence increased by 86% and it was found that there was neither compound nor complex sentences. Based on the completeness of the sentence elements, it was found that according to the minimal ability there were 15% of complete sentences and 85% of incomplete sentences and based on the maximum capabilities, there was a 25% increase of complete sentences and a decrease by 75% of incomplete sentences. (4) Based the minimum capability, the average length of utterances (ALU) was 5.69 and based on the maximum capacity it increased by 6.24.

Abstract

This research is entitled Linguistic Defamiliarization in the text of Ahmad Tohari’s Trilogy. One of problems discussed is the form of linguistic defamiliarization in the text of Ahmad Tohari’s novels united in a trilogy. The purpose of this study is to describe the form of linguistic defamiliarization in the text. Theoretically, this research contributes (1) to adding a new insight about the writing Ahmad Tohari’s rhetorical style and (2) to the preparation or writing of the history of Indonesian literary theory. Meanwhile, among the practical benefits that can be obtained is the appreciation of interesting language and literature learning. This research is a qualitative descriptive study employing an analytical approach and hermeneutic technique. It was carried out in such a way because it was difficult to avoid using an eclectic method to analyze a novel. The use of integrated the methods was expected to get maximum results. The data in this study were linguistic data in the form of sentence fragments contained in the text of the novels in the trilogy, namely Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk, Lintang Kemukus Dini Hari, and Jentera Bianglala. The data were in the form of chunks of the characters’ speech and the author’s narration in the form of words, phrases, clauses, sentences and discourse that allegedly contained forms of defamiliarization. The data collection technique employed in this study was the documentary technique and first level of semiotic reading technique. The data collection technique used in this study can be described as follows, (1) reading the text of the trilogy employing the first level of semiotic reading technique, i.e. the heuristic reading. This reading technique was based on a linguistic convention; (2) keeping records of data coded according to the characteristics on the data cards; (3) classifying the data according to the types of problems, namely the forms defamiliarization at word, phrase, clause, sentence, and discourse levels. On the data analysis stage, a second level of reading technique was applied, that is the hermeneutic technique, to provide the overall meanings of the text. The results of this study show that the form of text defamiliarization in Ahmad Tohari’s trilogy are in all linguistic levels, i.e. word, phrase, clause, sentence and discourse ones. At the word level, the defamiliarization is in the form of connotative meaning utilization, exploiting the Javanese words, the use of foreign terms, the use of expletives, and the utilization of compositum. Meanwhile, at the phrase level it shows the use of endocentric attributive phrases, endocentric connective phrases, verbal phrases, noun phrases, and prepositional phrases. An the clause level it shows the use of verbal clauses, adjectival clauses, and nominal clauses. The sentences found in the text are in the form of simple sentences and compound/complex sentences with varied structural patterns, both compound and complex sentences.

Abstract

Menulis karya ilmiah merupakan salah satu komptensi yang harus dimiliki oleh guru. Akan tetapi, belum semua guru memiliki komptensi tersebut. Salah satu faktor penyebab kurangnya keterampilan menulis karya ilmiah bagi guru adalah kurangnya pelatihan dan pembimbingan penulisan karya ilmiah. Oleh karena itu, perlu diadakan pelatihan dan pembimbingan menulis karya ilmiah, khususya artikel ilmiah bagi mereka. Sebagai upaya peningkatan keterampilan menulis karya ilmiah bagi guru, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk: (1) membekali guru tentang materi karya tulis ilmiah, khususnya tentang artikel ilmiah; (2) melakukan pendampingan dan konsultasi dalam penulisan karya ilmiah agar guru mampu membuat karya ilmiah dengan baik dan benar. Adapun kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di kabupaten Demak. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah sebagai berikut: (1) mengadakan pelatihan tentang materi yang terkait dengan pengenalan karya ilmiah, serta memberikan beberapa contoh hasil karya ilmiah kepada para guru; (2) melakukan pendampingan terhadap para peserta dalam kegiatan penyusunan artikel ilmiah. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat diikuti oleh guru-guru SD Negeri Kalicilik 2 kabupaten Demak. Kegiatan berlagsung selama satu hari dari pagi sampai sore bertempat di SD Negeri Kalicilik 2 Demak. Kegiatan diawali dengan pemberian materi tentang jenis-jenis karya ilmiah, tata tulis, sistematika karya ilmiah, artikel ilmiah hasil penelitian yang kemudian diikuti dengan proses pembimbingan sampai para peserta dapat menyusun artikel ilmiah hasil penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil pelaksanaan, pengabdian sejenis ini perlu dilakukan lagi mengingat masih banyak para guru sekolah dasar yang belum memahami karya ilmiah, khususnya artikel ilmiah hasil penelitian.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the group investigation learning model that contained conservation values in writing learning and character development of UNNES FBS students. This learning model was chosen because it is one of the social interaction learning models that require students to have the ability to interact with their conservation environment and work together in groups in synergy. The ultimate goal of this experimental research is to find the effectiveness of the development products produced in previous studies, namely the group investigation learning model containing conservation values to improve writing skills and instill/ develop character values of FBS UNNES students. The approach applied in this study is quasi-experiment with pretest-posttest design, non-equivalent control group design. Determination of research samples using purposive samples. Respondents of this study were students of Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program FBS UNNES in semester one. Data collection uses to test and non-test instruments — analysis of research data using validity test, reliability test, homogeneity test, and t-test.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana pengembangan model discovery learning menggunakan sempoa kosakata untuk meningkatkan kemampuan sintaksis siswa kelas III SD. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa lembar kuesioner dan wawancara. Sumber data diperoleh dari guru dan siswa di enam sekolah dasar (SD) yang tersebar pada tiga kecamatan di wilayah Kota Magelang. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis kuantitatif deskriptif dan kualitatif deskriptif. Analisis ini dimulai dengan mengubah penilaian dalam bentuk kualitatif menjadi kuantitatif sehingga diperoleh skor. Lalu menghitung skor rata-rata, mengubah skor rata-rata menjadi kualitatif, kemudian memaparkan data, pembahasan hasil penelitian, serta menyimpulkan.Setelah dilakukan penelitian, diperoleh hasil sebagai berikut : (1) berdasarkan analisis kebutuhan, model pembelajaran yang diharapkan oleh siswa maupun guru merupakan model yang melibatkan siswa secara aktif dan menumbuhkan rasa ingin tahu siswa untuk menemukan sesuatu. Sementara media pembelajaran yang dibutuhkan merupakan media yang murah, menarik, mudah digunakan, serta dapat menambah perbendaharaan kosakata siswa. (2) Prinsip penyusunan model pembelajaran terdiri atas prinsip motivasi, prinsip pengalaman, prinsip penemuan, prinsip kooperatif, prinsip kebahasaan, dan prinsip pengulangan. (3) Pengembangan model pembelajaran discovery learning menggunakan media sempoa kosakata menghasilkan produk berupa model dan media pembelajaran yang direalisasikan dalam bentuk buku panduan model. Model yang dihasilkan telah divalidasi oleh ahli model dengan rentang skor 1-5 dan menunjukkan nilai rata-rata sebesar 4,61. Sementara validasi  dari ahli materi memiliki rata-rata niali sebesar 4,87.Kata Kunci: Discovery learning, pengembangan, sempoa kosakata

Abstract

Keragaman sudah menjadi sebuah keniscayaan yang tidak dapat dielakkan oleh siapapun, baik berupa agama, budaya, bahasa daerah, suku, ras, golongan dan adat istiadat. Kampus sebagai kawah candradimuka melahirkan banyak mahasiswa terdidik serta terpelajar. Lingkungan pendidikan tinggi memiliki sivitas akademika yang terdiri dari berbagai macam latar belakang yang beragam. Maka, urgensi kebinekaan harus terus dipupuk serta dirawat sebagai bagian dari jati diri bangsa Indonesia. Oleh karena itu, perlunya peran aktif warga untuk menjaga dan merawat kebinekaan era new normal terutama di lingkungan pendidikan tinggi dengan tindakan nyata dan bukan sekedar retorika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui konsep dan aktualisasi kebinekaan era new normal di lingkungan pendidikan tinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan kajian kepustakaan. Data penelitian diperoleh dari sumber literatur dengan memilih referensi yang berasal dari buku dan jurnal yang terkait kebinekaan di perguruan tinggi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan studi dokumentasi dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pertama aktulisasi kebinekaan era new normal di lingkungan pendidikan tinggi diwujudkan dalam tindakan nyata dan kedua kebinekaan era new normal di pendidikan tinggi dengan saling menjaga, menghargai sesama.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Analisis Kualitas Butir Soal Pilihan Ganda Penilaian Akhir Tahun Mata Pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia Kelas Viii Mts Wathoniyah Islamiyah Banyumas Tahun Ajaran 2019/2020” yang merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan karena kurangnya kesadaran serta pengetahuan guru untuk menganalisis kualitas butir soal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan validitas, (2) mendeskripsikan reliabilitas, (3) mendeskripsikan indeks daya pembeda (IDB), (4) mendeskripsikan indeks tingkat kesukaran (ITK), serta (5) mendeskripsikan keefektifan pengecoh soal penilaian akhir tahun mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia kelas VIII MTs Wathoniyah Islamiyah tahun ajaran 2019/2020. . Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan beberapa tahapan, yakni (1) observasi, (2) pemilihan sampel, (3) pengambilan data, (4) analisis data berdasarkan validitas, reliabilitas, indeks tingkat kesukaran (ITK), indeks daya pembeda (IDB), dan efektivitas pengecoh.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa : (1) terdapat 36 atau 80% butir soal valid, 9 atau 20% butir soal tidak valid, (2) nilai koefisiensi Alpha Cronbach sebesar 0,732 sehingga soal dinyatakan reliabel, (3) indeks tingkat kesukaran soal sebanyak 5 atau 11% soal sukar, 31 atau 69% soal sedang, dan 9 atau 20% soal mudah,. 4) indeks daya pembeda soal sebanyak 1 atau 2% soal negatif, sebanyak 8 atau 18% soal jelek, 19 atau 42% soal sedang, 9 atau 20% soal baik, serta 8 atau 18% soal sangat baik, (5) Efektivitas pengecoh terdapat 0 atau 0% dengan kriteria semua pengecoh berfungsi, baik berjumlah 0 atau 0% dengan kriteria satu pengecoh tidak berfungsi, Buruk berjumlah 4 atau 9% dengan kriteria dua pengecoh tidak berfungsi, dan sangat buruk 41 atau 91% dengan kriteria tiga/semua pengecoh tidak berfungsi.Kata Kunci: Analisis kualitas butir soal, efektivitas pengecoh., IDB, ITK, reliabilitas, validitas
