Abstract

The purpose of holding a work culture activity workshop by Nusantra Weru Vocational School, Cirebon Regency is to train, develop and familiarize yourself with the work culture that applies in the global business and industrial world. Participants were given an understanding of two work cultures that originate from Japan and are global in nature, namely Kaizen and Omotenashi. How are the two work cultures implemented in work as teachers, employees and structural officials at SMK Nusantara Weru, Cirebon Regency. The material is delivered by lecture method, question and answer and recitation using power point media. The recitation was carried out by the participants at their respective homes, starting with technical instructions and examples of making Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Participants create SOPs according to the main tasks of each participant. During the activity, all participants looked enthusiastic and enthusiastic and determined to apply it as a work culture in improving performance so as to improve the quality of output and outcomes for SMK Nusantara Weru graduates, Cirebon Regency

Abstract

The implementation of Kurikulum Merdeka is a policy to restore the learning process after the Covid-19 pandemic. The aim of the Kurikulum Merdeka is not only to develop student intelligence but also to develop student character in accordance with the values in Pancasila. The characters is developed through the project of Pancasila  Student Profile (In Indonesian: Pengembangan Projek Profil Pelajar Pancasila - P5). The P5 requires a deep understanding of the notion of P5, the theme in P5 implementation, and the method to develop P5 modules. Building on the necessity for the project implementation, this community service aims to provide knowledge about the implementation of P5 and assistance in developing P5 modules. The activity in the community service includes 1) teacher training on the principles of Pancasila student profile development in the implementation of P5, and 2) further assistance in developing P5 module, especially in the relation between the themes, the flow of activities, reflection process and evaluation process. The results of the activities were observed in the increase in teachers' understanding of the implementation of P5 and the improvement in the quality of the P5 module designImplementasi kurikulum merdeka merupakan suatu kebijakan untuk melakukan pemulihan pembelajaran setelah masa pandemi covid-19. Implementasi kurikulum merdeka tidak hanya bertujuan mengembangkan kecerdasan siswa saja namun juga mengembangkan karakter sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Pancasila, pengembangan karakter yang sesuai dengan nilai – nilai Pancasila dapat dilakukan melalui kegiatan Pengembangan Projek Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5). Implementasi P5 memerlukan pemahaman yang mendalam terhadap pemahaman P5, penentuan tema dalam pelaksanaan P5, dan pengembangan modul P5. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan tentang implementasi P5 dan pendampingan pengembangan modul P5. Metode dalam kegiatan ini adalah 1) pelatihan kepada guru-guru tentang prinsip-prinsip pengembangan profil pelajar pancasila pada implementasi P5, dan 2) pendampingan pengembangan modul P5 terutama keterkaitan antara tema, alur kegiatan, refleksi dan evaluasi. Hasil yang dicapai adalah peningkatan pemaham guru-guru terhadap implementasi P5 serta peningkatan kualitas rancangan modul P5.

Abstract

Workshop pembelajaran IPA berbasis TPACK (Technological Pedagogical And Content Knowledge) untuk guru IPA SMP di Kabupaten Cirebon perlu dilakukan karena adanya kebutuhan dan tuntutan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di era digital dan implementasi kurikulum merdeka. Workshop pelatihan TPACK bertujuan untuk membekali guru dengan pengetahuan dan keterampilan aplikatif yang dibutuhkan dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi dalam pembelajaran IPA berbasis TPACK dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka.  Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam workshop penguatan dan pengembangan TPACK guru meliputi metode ceramah, tanya jawab dan penugasan. Hasil workshop menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan TCK (Technological Content Knowledege) peserta dari rata-rata pretest sebesar 50,25 menjadi rata-rata posttes sebesar 61,25. Komponen integrasi TPACK lainnya yaitu TPK, PCK dan TPACK mengalami penurunan. Fenomena ini sebagai sesuatu hal yang lumrah karena workshop dititik beratkan bagaimana media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi informatika digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPA. Materi yang disampaikan dapat menngkatkan pemahaman teknologi yang dipadu dengan pemahaman konten yang telah dimiliki oleh peserta. Hal ini berarti penyelenggaraan workshop berdampak pada peningkatan kompetensi guru yang bermuara pada peningkatan kinerja profesional guru. Hasil kegiatan workshop dapat meningkatkan motivasi untuk terus mengembangkan keahlian mengajarnya dalam menintegrasikan teknologi dalam pembelajarannya khususnya dalam menerapkan strategi pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan topik dan kondisi siswa serta tuntutan kurikulum merdeka yang sedang dijalan oleh sekolah.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan asesmen autentik berbasis literasi dan numerasi sangat diperlukan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan peserta didik dalam mengaplikasikan pengetahuannya dalam kehidupan nyata. Pengembangan instrumen asesmen autentik berbasis literasi numerasi memerlukan perubahan mindset baik dalam melaksanakan proses penilaian maupun dalam proses pembelajaran IPA.  Pengabdian pada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman dan pendampingan pengembangan asesmen autentik berbasis literasi dan numerasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian masyarakai  ini adalah metode pelatihan dan pendampingan mengenai  pemahaman konsep dasar asesmen autentik, konsep dasar literasi numerasi,  indikator literasi numerasi  serta cara mengintegrasikan pelaksanaan asesmen autentik menggunakan indikator litersi dan numerasi baik pada ranah pengetahuan, keterampilan, maupun sikap. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman tentang konsep dasar asesmen autentik , pemahaman tentang konsep dasar literasi dan numerasi, implementasikan asesmen autentik berbasis literasi dan numerasi pada pembelajaran IPA dan self efficacy dalam merancang dan melaksanakan asesmen yang relevan dengan literasi dan numerasi.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of the community regarding hydroponics, particularly the wick system, as an efficient and environmentally friendly solution for urban farming. Hydroponics was introduced in general through an explanation of its concepts, types of hydroponic systems, and their benefits in addressing land and water resource limitations.In the next stage, the activity focused on practical training in applying the wick hydroponic system, which is one of the simplest and easiest techniques to implement. The community was taught how to prepare tools and materials, set up the wick system using planting media, and sustainably care for the plants. Hydroponics attracts attention and is able to motivate people to practice the steps for making wick type hydroponics The results of the activity show that participants were able to understand the basics of hydroponics theoretically while also independently applying the wick method. This system is considered very effective in supporting household-scale food needs, as it can utilize recycled materials at a low cost.Through this activity, it is expected that the community can not only improve their agricultural productivity but also support the concept of sustainable and environmentally friendly farming at the community level.

Abstract

Pelatihan manajemen kelas memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan efektivitas proses pembelajaran. Pengabdian Masyarakat ini bertujuan  membahas berbagai strategi dan teknik yang dapat diterapkan oleh pendidik untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan dan pendampingan manajemen kelas untuk mendukung terlaksananya keteraturan kelas dan disiplin positif. Pelatihan  ini menguraikan prinsip-prinsip dasar manajemen kelas, tantangan yang sering dihadapi oleh guru, serta solusi praktis untuk mengatasinya. Selain itu, selama pendampingan  menekankan pentingnya komunikasi, kepemimpinan, dan penggunaan teknologi dalam mendukung pengelolaan kelas yang efektif. Melalui pemahaman dan penerapan konsep-konsep ini, diharapkan para pendidik dapat meningkatkan keterampilan mereka dalam mengelola kelas, sehingga berdampak positif pada kualitas pembelajaran dan perkembangan peserta didik. Kata Kunci: Manajemen kelas; pelatihan guru; strategi pembelajaran; efektivitas pengajaran. Abstracts: Effective classroom management is essential for optimizing student learning. This community engagement initiative implements a classroom management training program to enhance educators' skills in this area. The program focuses on various strategies and techniques to establish a structured and positive learning environment. The training addresses the fundamental principles of classroom management, examined common challenges faced by teachers, and presented solutions supported by evidence. Furthermore, it emphasizes the importance of communication, leadership, and the role of technology in facilitating effective classroom management. Participants are expected to develop and refine their classroom management skills, with the aim of positively influencing instructional quality and student academic achievement. Abstract

Implementation of Curriculum Merdeka involves a shift in teachers’ mindset on assessment development which orientates to facilitating Students development of learning. For that reason, the development of assesment instrument requires abilities to determine assessment method in accordance with indicator of achievement standard in cognitive, psychomotor, and affective domains. Considering the demand of the Curriculum Merdeka, the aim of this social service program is to train and assist teachers to develop assessment following the needs of the curriculum. The aim of program will be realised as a workshop for determining assessment method in Curriculum Merdeka and creating assessment rubric for cognitive, psychomotor and affective aspects. The output of the program shows an increase in teachers’ understanding about choosing the proper assessment method as well as an increase in the quality of assessment rubric leading to proper assessment of students learning development. Abstrak Implementasi kurikulum merdeka memerlukan perubahan mindset guru dalam mengembangkan asesmen yang dapat memfasilitasi perkembangan belajar peserta didik. Pengembangan instrumen penilaian memerlukan pemahaman yang mendalam terutama dalam menentukan metode penilaian yang sesuai dengan indikator capaian pembelajaran baik pada aspek pengetahuan, keterampilan dan sikap. Tujuan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikanpengetahuan dan pendampingan dalam mengembangkan asesmen pada kurikulum merdeka. Metode dalam kegiatan ini adalah pelatihan penentuan metode asesmen dalam kurikulum merdeka dan pendampingan pembuatan rubrik penilaian untuk aspek pengetahuan, keterampilan dan sikap. Hasil pelatihan menunjukan adanya peningkatan pemahaman guru dalam memilih metode asesmen yang tepat sesuai dengan capaian pembelajaran dan proses pembelajaran, serta kualitas rubrik penilaian yang dapat menilai perkebangan belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

Background: The low levels of students' critical thinking skills and science process skills in diffusion and osmosis material remain a problem in biology learning. This study aims to develop a student worksheet based on the vee diagram to improve students’ critical thinking and science process skills. Methods: The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model. The subjects were 11th-grade science students at MA Nurul Huda Munjul, consisting of 25 students in the experimental class and 25 in the control class. Instruments included multiple-choice tests, observation sheets, and questionnaires. Data were analyzed using N-gain and t-tests. Results: The developed student worksheet was valid (97.02%) and effectively implemented (90%). Students' critical thinking skills increased with an N-Gain of 0.41 (moderate), compared to 0.05 (low) in the control class. Science process skills also improved to 81.75% (high), outperforming the control class (53.63%). The correlation between critical thinking and science process skills was not significant (r = 0.298 < r table = 0.396; sig. = 0.149). Students’ responses to the student worksheet were in the very good category (85.33%). Conclusion: Thus, the development of vee diagram-based student worksheets on diffusion and osmosis material can enchance student’s critical thinking and science process skills.

Abstract

Background: The weakness in students’ critical thinking skills is reflected in their tendency to passively accept information without considering broader aspects, such as scientific issues and religious values. Furthermore, the application of biotechnology often triggers controversy within society, highlighting the urgent need for strong scientific literacy skills. One contributing factor to this issue is the limited availability of teaching materials that integrate socio-scientific issues (SSI) with Islamic values, which continues to pose a challenge for educators. Methods: This study employed the ADDIE Research and Development (R&D) model, encompassing the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The effectiveness of the developed e-module was evaluated during the final stage by calculating the N-gain score. Data analysis was conducted using the SPSS software. The findings revealed that the average N-gain score in the experimental class was 0.33, compared to 0.22 in the control class. Additionally, the scientific literacy score in the experimental class was 41.88, while the control class scored 30.67 Results: The results showed an average N-gain score for the experimental class of 0.33 while the control class was 0.22. And the acquisition of scientific literacy scores in the experimental class was 41.88 while the control class was 30.67. Conclusion: These results indicate that the SSI-based e-module integrated with Islamic values has a positive effect on enhancing students’ critical thinking skills and scientific literacy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mendeskripsikan prosedur pengembangan e-modul kontekstual terintegrasi nilai Islami pada materi pencemaran lingkungan, (2) mengkaji kecerdasan ekologis siswa setelah implementasi e-modul, (3) menganalisis kepedulian lingkungan siswa pasca penggunaan e-modul, serta (4) mengevaluasi respons siswa terhadap e-modul yang dikembangkan. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, tes, dan angket. Populasi penelitian mencakup seluruh siswa kelas VII di MTs Ar Ruhama, dengan kelas VII B sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan VII C sebagai kelompok kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) proses pengembangan meliputi analisis kebutuhan, perancangan konten, pengembangan produk, dan validasi oleh ahli media, materi, serta bahasa yang menyatakan e-modul layak digunakan; (2) kecerdasan ekologis siswa meningkat dari nilai pretest 52,2 menjadi posttest 79,8; (3) kepedulian lingkungan kelas eksperimen naik dari 73,2 menjadi 85,4, sedangkan kelas kontrol hanya meningkat dari 74,4 menjadi 77; dan (4) siswa memberikan respons positif terhadap kegunaan dan fungsionalitas e-modul. Dengan demikian, e-modul kontekstual berbasis nilai Islami terbukti layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran, mampu meningkatkan kecerdasan ekologis, serta menumbuhkan kepedulian lingkungan. Rekomendasi perbaikan mencakup penyesuaian jumlah halaman untuk menghindari kejenuhan dan penambahan animasi 3D guna meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa.
