Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyse the forms of regulation of freedom of opinion in the formation of good laws in Indonesia and Malaysia and how the practice and obstacles to freedom of opinion on social media between the two. In the research method, the statutory regulatory approach (Statute Approach), analytical approach (Analytical Approach), and case approach (Case Approach) are used as aspects of normative analysis. Legal materials are collected by tracing authoritative documents related to legal issues and using the literature study method. The legal materials collected are then described descriptively by combining and comparing regulations about freedom of opinion/expression to answer the legal issues raised and reach a clear solution. The results of this study show that the existence of rules that have regulated freedom of expression/opinion for Indonesia and Malaysia is still a debate in its civil society. In Malaysia, the main challenge is the strict regulations often used to suppress freedom of expression in the interests of its constitution. In Indonesia, freedom of expression rules is considered repressive, too broad, and prone to abuse to silence public criticism in the mass media.

Abstract

Traditional face-to-face marketing has evolved significantly since the advent of online systems, leveraging technological advancements to create new models like affiliate marketing. Affiliate marketing has become increasingly prevalent in Indonesia, particularly within e-commerce platforms such as Shopee. As these modern marketing practices expand, ensuring that Islamic values are upheld in their implementation becomes crucial. This calls for a thorough examination of affiliate marketing through the lens of Islamic law. This research, based on a normative legal research methodology, explores the alignment of affiliate marketing practices with the principles of Islamic economic law, specifically scrutinizing the collaboration between Shopee and its affiliate participants. It is found that affiliate marketing, as practiced by Shopee, can be considered permissible under Islamic law, provided that certain conditions are met. The commission-based model employed by Shopee, and its affiliates closely mirrors the contracts of samsarah (brokerage) and wakalah bil ujrah (agency with a fee) in Islamic commercial law. These contracts ensure that the transactions comply with Islamic principles' ethical and legal framework, promoting fairness, transparency, and mutual consent.

Abstract

Abstract

The green chemistry technique was carried out for the first time to synthesize CuO-Chitosan nanoparticles using CuSO4 as a precursor and red dragon fruit peel extract as a reducing agent which was then applied as an antibacterial agent. The extraction procedure of red dragon fruit peel was carried out by maceration technique with methanol solvent. CuO-chitosan nanoparticles were produced through green chemistry with reduction method. The compounds in the red dragon fruit peel extract reduced Cu2+ to Cu. The successfully synthesized Cu-NPs were analyzed using FT-IR, SEM, PSA, and UV-Visible Spectrophotometer. The variation of reducing agent volume affected the maximum wavelength produced. The optimum reducing agent concentration (1:5) showed the highest intensity at 650 nm. The optimum pH for CuO-Chitosan synthesis was 6. Cu-NPs were stable at 20 minutes to 1 hour. Identification of functional groups with FTIR showed a shift in wave numbers between pure CuSO4 precursor and CuO-Citosan Nanoparticles, indicating the interaction of functional groups. Volume or weight analysis of CuO-Citosan Nanoparticles using PSA gave particle diameters between 80 and 120 nm with an approximate distribution of 100 nm. The results of the antibacterial test showed that the growth of Streptococcus pneumoniae bacteria produced the highest inhibition zone in CuO-Citosan Nanoparticles with a concentration of 100% which had an average inhibition zone diameter of 11 mm. This proves that CuO-chitosan nanoparticles are effective against Streptococcus pneumoniae. Keywords: CuO-chitosan, nanoparticles, Streptococcus pneumoniae

Abstract

The phenomenon of global technological advancements has brought significant changes to the business sector. It is undeniable that significant changes have occurred in Indonesia, including in the micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) sector. Although most MSMEs are adept at using mobile phones, many still haven't fully utilized digital technology. This is evident in the fact that many businesses still haven't used digital payments (QRIS) and financial record-keeping systems like SIAPIK. This activity aims to improve the understanding and skills of business owners (MSMEs) in using Qris as a payment transaction method and digital financial recording using the Siapik application. This activity was held for 10 days, starting from August 4 to August 14, 2025, involving 15 MSME business actors in Dukuh Dempok village. This activity used an observation method with direct interviews with business actors in the market and roadside areas in Dukuh Dempok village, Ambulu sub-district, Jember Regency from August 4-10, 2025, training and socialization were carried out at the Gumuk Watu educational tour on August 11, and after the training and socialization until August 14, an evaluation was conducted to see how business actors used the 2 digital-based technologies. The results turned out to be satisfactory considering that participants or MSME business actors succeeded in using Qris and Siapik. Data shows a 90% adoption rate. However, challenges such as the continued predominance of cash usage among customers and the lack of consistency among business owners in using digital financial accounting applications need to be addressed through continued mentoring. Face-to-face approaches with hands-on practice have proven effective in encouraging MSMEs to adopt these applications

Abstract

This study discusses the dualism of the education system in Indonesia from the perspective of Iksan Kamil Sahri, a pesantren anthropologist and one of the most productive young scholars. He explained the massification of pesantren, such as the institutionalization of pesantren, which is firmly rooted amid society with various challenges. In collecting data, this study uses library research with qualitative methods emphasizing meaning through a qualitative naturalistic approach using content analysis. The final result of this study states that the educational dualism that occurs creates a value crisis in human civilization that considers science to be value-free, so the impact of scholastic duality is the decline of Islamic educational institutions that do not emphasize mastery of empirical knowledge, even though in terms of morality it can maintain the value system and scientific disciplines classical science. Meanwhile, public educational institutions emphasizing practical knowledge are very fragile regarding religious knowledge. In addition, the disparity stated by Iksan Kamil Sahri between pesantren and general education, which is managed differently by the two ministries in Indonesia, is due to the different educational objectives that exist between the two. Pesantren education aims to make graduates religious experts, while national education in Indonesia aims to produce graduates who meet industry standards to be ready for work.
