Abstract

The development of door lock technology is now sophisticated with the existence of various smart door lock innovations using sensors, cards, fingerprints, passwords, to face recognition or voice recognition. This is because the conventional keys on the market have an inadequate level of security, such as being easily lost and duplicable. This research aims to implement a double security system at the door with an innovative idea that combines face recognition, vibration sensors, and passwords which of course has better security than locks or locks. Identification technology that will be used in face recognition uses a Histogram of Oriented Gradients (HOG). The system created is based on the Internet of Things (IoT) which can provide information and early warning through notifications in the form of photos and messages that an unknown person has been detected in front of the house on a telegram in real time.

Abstract

The encoder in the steering system of an Autonomous electric car is a component used to determine the direction andposition of the racksteer displacement in the Autonomous electric car itself. The advantage of the encoder in this steeringsystem is its ability to read the number of rotations and direction of rotation of the car's steering wheel through pulsereadings from both channels of the encoder, without the need for additional specialized sensors. The data generated by theencoder is then used as a reference to ensure that the racksteer position is in the correct position during automatic controlin autonomous driving mode. Automatic control in an Autonomous electric car is achieved by reading the car's positionrelative to the road using lane detection methods through digital image processing on Raspberry Pi 4. The results of imageprocessing provide data such as direction and speed required by the car to accelerate when approaching or exiting a turn. The data from Raspberry Pi 4 is then received by the microcontroller to command the motor on the racksteer, taking intoconsideration the previous position of the racksteer obtained through the encoder.

Abstract

Indonesia, an archipelagic country located along the equator, is highly vulnerable to natural disasters. At the same time, its geographical conditions require reliable telecommunications to strengthen connectivity across its many islands. One effective solution is the utilization of High-Frequency (HF) communication technology, which enables long-distance communication and supports broadcasting-based telecommunications. This approach can expand available frequency channels, making HF radio communication an important tool for disaster-prone regions like Indonesia. To optimize HF communication, researchers have developed various models of HF channel radio systems, often represented statistically and implemented through channel simulators. Among these approaches, the Auto Regressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) model has been identified as particularly suitable. This is because ARIMA can handle the non-stationary characteristics of time-series data, such as those found in HF channel attenuation measurements. In the modeling process, several ARIMA configurations were tested, including ARIMA (0,1,1), (0,0,5), (1,0,0), (1,0,1), (1,0,2), and (0,0,4). From these options, two models—ARIMA (1,0,0) and ARIMA (1,0,2)—showed the closest fit to the observed data. The final selection was made using the Akaike Information Criterion (AIC), where the ARIMA (1,0,2) model emerged as the best. This model provides the most accurate representation for predicting HF channel attenuation, supporting more reliable telecommunications systems for Indonesia.

Abstract

The division of marital property in marriage constitutes a complex issue within Islamic family law in Indonesia. The Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI) stipulates that, in the event of divorce, both former spouses are each entitled to 50% of the marital property. However, the principle of justice is not merely determined by numerical equality but also by considering each party’s contribution and socio-economic circumstances. This study focuses on formulating an ideal legal framework for the regulation of marital property in Indonesia to ensure justice for all parties involved. The primary aim of this research is to propose a legal model for the division of marital property that is more adaptive to social realities and capable of ensuring substantive justice. The study adopts Werner Menski’s triangular concept of legal pluralism, integrating normative, empirical, and philosophical approaches. It employs a qualitative method, combining library research with in-depth interviews with religious court judges. The findings reveal that although the KHI prescribes an equal division of marital property, in practice judges may exercise their ex officio authority to adjust rulings in order to achieve fairness. An ideal regulation should not rely solely on formal equality but must also take into account the actual contributions of each party in acquiring the marital property. A progressive legal approach is necessary for Islamic family law to become more responsive to societal developments and to guarantee substantive justice for the parties concerned.
