Abstract

Literasi budaya telah menjadi kompetensi penting dalam menghadapi kompleksitas interaksi sosial di era globalisasi. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis konsep dan komponen literasi budaya dalam konteks kecakapan hidup, mengidentifikasi peran literasi budaya dalam pengembangan kecakapan hidup individu, serta merumuskan strategi pengembangan literasi budaya di Indonesia. Dengan metode kajian literatur, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi berbagai perspektif teoretis dan implikasi praktis literasi budaya. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa literasi budaya terdiri dari lima komponen utama: pengetahuan budaya, kesadaran budaya, kepekaan budaya, kompetensi budaya, dan kecerdasan budaya. Literasi budaya berperan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan adaptasi, memperkuat keterampilan komunikasi, mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, membangun keterampilan resolusi konflik, dan meningkatkan kesadaran identitas diri. Strategi pengembangan literasi budaya di Indonesia dapat dilakukan melalui integrasi dalam sistem pendidikan formal, program pendidikan non-formal, pemanfaatan media dan teknologi, kebijakan pemerintah, serta kolaborasi dengan komunitas dan sektor swasta. Pengembangan literasi budaya sebagai kecakapan hidup memerlukan pendekatan kolaboratif dan komprehensif yang melibatkan berbagai pemangku kepentingan untuk memperkuat identitas nasional, menjaga harmoni sosial, dan meningkatkan daya saing individu dalam konteks global.

Abstract

Literasi budaya merupakan salah satu gerakan literasi nasional yang penting untuk dikuasai oleh peserta didik di abad ke-21 di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji konsep dasar literasi budaya yang mencakup pengertian literasi budaya, prinsip-prinsip dasar literasi budaya, indikator literasi budaya, dan strategi gerakan literasi budaya di sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kajian literatur dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa literasi budaya merupakan kemampuan untuk memahami keberagaman dan tanggung jawab sebagai warga negara dari suatu bangsa yang mencakup pemahaman terhadap nilai-nilai, norma, kepercayaan, dan praktik-praktik budaya. Prinsip dasar literasi budaya meliputi budaya sebagai alam pikir melalui bahasa dan perilaku, kesenian sebagai produk budaya, kewargaan multikultural dan partisipatif, nasionalisme, inklusivitas, dan pengalaman langsung. Indikator literasi budaya terbagi dalam tiga basis yaitu basis kelas, basis budaya sekolah, dan basis masyarakat. Strategi gerakan literasi budaya di sekolah meliputi bengkel kreatif berbahasa daerah, pelatihan guru dan tenaga kependidikan, pelatihan pembuatan permainan edukatif, dan forum diskusi bagi warga sekolah. Implementasi literasi budaya di sekolah dasar memerlukan pendekatan holistik dan kerja sama yang erat antarstakeholder, termasuk pemerintah dan lembaga pendidikan tinggi.

Abstract

Smart Apps Creator (SAC) enables teachers to develop android-based learning media without requiring coding expertise. Numerous studies have explored the development of SAC media. However, research specifically focused on the effect of SAC on students' interest in integrated science subjects remains severely limited. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the effect of SAC on students’ integrated science interest. This study involved 27 students on the second grade at SMPN 2 Bontomarannu, South Sulawesi. It employed an experimental approach with a pre-experiment method, utilizing a one-shot case study model. Data collection involved observation and questionnaires. The data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical analyses with SPSS. The results demonstrated that SAC positively contributed on students' learning interest. Specifically, 85.71% of students reported feeling that the classroom atmosphere became more enjoyable, and 85.71% were focused and attentive during integrated science studies when using SAC as the learning media. Moreover, 85.71% of students expressed satisfaction and comfort while learning integrated science with SAC. Additionally, 86.9% of students exhibited good participation in the learning process. Based on the data, it can be concluded that the utilization of mobile learning using SAC has a positive effect on students' learning interest in integrated science.Keywords: Android-based learning, Integrated science, Mobile learning, Smart apps creator (SAC), Student interest

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of Smart Apps Creator on the interest in learning science of grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 33 Makassar. This research is a type of quantitative research with a pre-experimental approach, and a one-shot case study research design. The subject of the study is 73 students in grade VIII of SMP Negeri 33 Makassar for the 2024/2025 academic year. The data collection technique used observation and questionnaires. The data analysis used is descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The results showed that as many as 50.68% of students were in the criteria of interest, with the percentage in each indicator, namely 84.16% of students showing feelings of pleasure, 82.41% showing activeness in learning, 83.18% showing interest in learning, and 78.90% showing involvement in learning. The results of the hypothesis test showed that the t-calculated value of the t-table >, which was 3.009 > 1.994 so that Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. Based on the findings of these results, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the use of Smart Apps Creator on the interest in learning science of grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 33 Makassar.

Abstract. The Effect of Using Aurora 3D Presentation Learning Media on Science Learning Outcomes of Pptq Jami'ul Qurra' Bajeng Barat Students, Gowa Regency. Thesis for the Educational Technology Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Muhammadiyah University of Makassar. Advisor I Muhammad Nawir and Advisor II Nurindah.This study aims to determine the Effect of Using Aurora 3D Presentation Learning Media on Science Learning Outcomes of Pptq Jami'ul Qurra' Bajeng Barat Gowa Regency Students. The sample in this study was class VIII students of Pptq Jami'ul Qurra' Bajeng Barat for the 2021/2022 academic year, a total of 16 students. From the results of these data it can be concluded that through the Aurora 3D Presentation learning media in science learning class VIII students of Pptq Jami'ul Qurra' Bajeng Barat and gave a positive response to the learning media. Based on the results of research and data analysis regarding the comparison of statistical values ​​and comparison of learning outcomes categories, it has been proven that there is a positive effect of using Aurora 3D Presentation media on student learning outcomes in class VIII Pptq Jami'ul Qurra' Bajeng Barat, which can be seen from student learning outcomes through descriptive statistical analysis before using the Aurora 3D Presentation media, the average student score is still in the low interval category and after using the Aurora 3D Presentation media, the average student score is in the high interval category. It is known that the average value of the Pretest results is 28.43 and the average value of the Posttest results is 72.5 where the Posttest value is greater than the Pretest value. Furthermore, based on the results of inferential statistical analysis using the t test formula, it is known that the tcount obtained is 15.69 with a frequency df = 16-1 = 15, at a significant level of 0.05 or 5%, the ttable is 1.753. So tcount > ttable or H0 is rejected, H1 is accepted.Keywords: Media Aurora 3D Presentation, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

This study explores critical literacy strategies, reflective abilities, and intercultural competence in language teaching to develop critical, reflective, and adaptive students. Research objectives include identifying key barriers, developing innovative strategies, and practical solutions for integrating critical literacy in education. The research uses a qualitative approach based on literature review, best practice analysis, and theoretical case studies. Data were analyzed through a descriptive-critical approach and thematic synthesis to produce a holistic framework. The research results show that the main obstacles include limited understanding of the socio-cultural context, difficulty analyzing multimodal texts, and embedded cultural stereotypes. Strategies such as authentic text discussions on socio-cultural themes, multimodal discourse analysis, and cross-cultural simulations have proven effective in improving students' critical literacy skills, reflective abilities, and intercultural sensitivity. This approach allows students to understand global issues in depth, develop analytical skills, and adapt to different cultural norms. The novelty of this study lies in the integration of critical literacy, multidimensional reflection, and intercultural competence in one holistic learning framework. This approach is relevant to facing the challenges of globalization and preparing students to become individuals who are responsive to an ever-evolving world. These findings provide an essential contribution to the development of inclusive education that is relevant to the needs of the 21st century.

Abstract

This work aims to determine the relationship between Wordwall learning and the interests and learning outcomes of class V SD Gugus 1, Bontomarannu District, Gowa Regency. The study used a quantitative approach with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample consisted of 50 students with purposive sampling, consisting of an experimental class (using Wordwall) and a control class (using conventional methods). Data were obtained through questionnaires, while the results were obtained from pretest and posttest tests. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive and inferential statistics, including normality, homogeneity, t-test, ANOVA, and MANOVA tests. The results showed that digital-based learning with the help of Wordwall had a significant effect on increasing students' interests and learning outcomes. The average score of students' interests and learning outcomes in the experimental class was higher than in the control class. The MANOVA test showed significance at a value of 0.001 (<0.05), which confirmed that Wordwall was effective in increasing students' interests and learning outcomes in social studies.

Abstract

This study aims to describe: 1) the use of the Sevima Edlink platform as an online learning medium in Indonesian language subjects in grade VII; 2) the effectiveness of the Sevima Edlink platform as an online learning medium in Indonesian language subjects in grade VII. The study took place in the odd semester of the 2024/2025 academic year at SMP Negeri 33 Makassar. This study employed a qualitative approach, utilizing a case study method. The study's informants consisted of three Indonesian language teachers and six grade VII students. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. Observations were conducted using established observation guidelines. Interview guidelines were used for interview activities. All instruments were arranged objectively and systematically. Data were analyzed using a thematic approach. The results showed that the use of Sevima Edlink helped the learning process become more structured and flexible. Teachers felt helped in distributing materials and assignments systematically, while students found it easier to access and understand learning independently. Although several obstacles were encountered, such as internet connectivity issues and adapting to the use of applications, this did not hinder the teaching and learning process. Thus, Sevima Edlink is considered worthy and adequate for use as an online learning medium, especially in supporting the digitalization of education in the modern era.

Abstract

Pengembangan Pos Lintas Batas Negara (PLBN) menjadi salah satu Proyek yang areanya masih sulit dijangkau transportasi, berlokasi dipedalaman Kalimantan Utara yaitu didaerah perbatasan Indonesia-Malaysia. Tujuan dari Penelitian ini adalah menentukan faktor-faktor penyebab terjadinya cost overrun pada Proyek pedalaman yang sulit terjangkau transportasi, sehingga hasil Analisisnya dapat digunakan untuk mengetahui strategi antisipasi yang akan diterapkan pada Proyek selanjutnya. Penelititan ini menggunakan metode kulitatif yang dikuantitatifkan dari kuesioner yang diberi skor penilaian (skala likert) disetiap variabel penyebab cost overrun oleh responden sehingga didapatkan faktor yang paling signifikan mempengaruhi cost overrun. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa terdapat 14 (empat belas) kriteria yang sangat signifikan, cukup signifikan, dan signifikan berdampak terhadap cost overrun. Model strategi dan adaptasi terhadap cost overrun Proyek di pedalaman dan diarea lintas batas negara adalah secara berurutan dari yang sangat signifikan pada kriteria berikut Unupdated price, Costing error, Unprofessional manpower, Unmanage engineering process, Unusual project location, Uncompleted drawing dan Uncommon contract addendum. Strategi korektif, digunakan metode avoidance dan mitigation, yang melibatkan proses pengenalan risiko sejak awal serta penerapan langkah-langkah mitigatif untuk mengurangi atau mencegah risiko yang telah teridentifikasi. Abstract

The aim of the study was to determine the effect of the use of audio-visual media on social studies learning outcomes for fourth grade students of SD Negeri Alluka, Gowa Regency. The type of research used in this research is research with a pre-experimental design and uses a quantitative approach. Place and time of this research at SD Negeri Alluka on May 22, 2023. The research subjects used in this research were 28 grade IV students. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, testing and documentation. The results showed that the use of audio-visual media in social studies learning had an effect on the learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SD Negeri Alluka, Gowa Regency. This can be seen in the average value of student learning outcomes before the use of audio-visual media is low at 43% and after the use of audio-visual media the average value obtained is high, namely 93% so that it can be concluded that there is an effect of using audio-visual media because it can increase social studies learning outcomes for fourth grade students of SD Negeri Alluka, Gowa Regency.
