Abstract

Abstract. The Effect of Using Aurora 3D Presentation Learning Media on Science Learning Outcomes of Pptq Jami'ul Qurra' Bajeng Barat Students, Gowa Regency. Thesis for the Educational Technology Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Muhammadiyah University of Makassar. Advisor I Muhammad Nawir and Advisor II Nurindah.This study aims to determine the Effect of Using Aurora 3D Presentation Learning Media on Science Learning Outcomes of Pptq Jami'ul Qurra' Bajeng Barat Gowa Regency Students. The sample in this study was class VIII students of Pptq Jami'ul Qurra' Bajeng Barat for the 2021/2022 academic year, a total of 16 students. From the results of these data it can be concluded that through the Aurora 3D Presentation learning media in science learning class VIII students of Pptq Jami'ul Qurra' Bajeng Barat and gave a positive response to the learning media. Based on the results of research and data analysis regarding the comparison of statistical values ​​and comparison of learning outcomes categories, it has been proven that there is a positive effect of using Aurora 3D Presentation media on student learning outcomes in class VIII Pptq Jami'ul Qurra' Bajeng Barat, which can be seen from student learning outcomes through descriptive statistical analysis before using the Aurora 3D Presentation media, the average student score is still in the low interval category and after using the Aurora 3D Presentation media, the average student score is in the high interval category. It is known that the average value of the Pretest results is 28.43 and the average value of the Posttest results is 72.5 where the Posttest value is greater than the Pretest value. Furthermore, based on the results of inferential statistical analysis using the t test formula, it is known that the tcount obtained is 15.69 with a frequency df = 16-1 = 15, at a significant level of 0.05 or 5%, the ttable is 1.753. So tcount > ttable or H0 is rejected, H1 is accepted.Keywords: Media Aurora 3D Presentation, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

This study explores critical literacy strategies, reflective abilities, and intercultural competence in language teaching to develop critical, reflective, and adaptive students. Research objectives include identifying key barriers, developing innovative strategies, and practical solutions for integrating critical literacy in education. The research uses a qualitative approach based on literature review, best practice analysis, and theoretical case studies. Data were analyzed through a descriptive-critical approach and thematic synthesis to produce a holistic framework. The research results show that the main obstacles include limited understanding of the socio-cultural context, difficulty analyzing multimodal texts, and embedded cultural stereotypes. Strategies such as authentic text discussions on socio-cultural themes, multimodal discourse analysis, and cross-cultural simulations have proven effective in improving students' critical literacy skills, reflective abilities, and intercultural sensitivity. This approach allows students to understand global issues in depth, develop analytical skills, and adapt to different cultural norms. The novelty of this study lies in the integration of critical literacy, multidimensional reflection, and intercultural competence in one holistic learning framework. This approach is relevant to facing the challenges of globalization and preparing students to become individuals who are responsive to an ever-evolving world. These findings provide an essential contribution to the development of inclusive education that is relevant to the needs of the 21st century.

Abstract

This work aims to determine the relationship between Wordwall learning and the interests and learning outcomes of class V SD Gugus 1, Bontomarannu District, Gowa Regency. The study used a quantitative approach with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample consisted of 50 students with purposive sampling, consisting of an experimental class (using Wordwall) and a control class (using conventional methods). Data were obtained through questionnaires, while the results were obtained from pretest and posttest tests. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive and inferential statistics, including normality, homogeneity, t-test, ANOVA, and MANOVA tests. The results showed that digital-based learning with the help of Wordwall had a significant effect on increasing students' interests and learning outcomes. The average score of students' interests and learning outcomes in the experimental class was higher than in the control class. The MANOVA test showed significance at a value of 0.001 (<0.05), which confirmed that Wordwall was effective in increasing students' interests and learning outcomes in social studies.

Abstract

This study aims to describe: 1) the use of the Sevima Edlink platform as an online learning medium in Indonesian language subjects in grade VII; 2) the effectiveness of the Sevima Edlink platform as an online learning medium in Indonesian language subjects in grade VII. The study took place in the odd semester of the 2024/2025 academic year at SMP Negeri 33 Makassar. This study employed a qualitative approach, utilizing a case study method. The study's informants consisted of three Indonesian language teachers and six grade VII students. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. Observations were conducted using established observation guidelines. Interview guidelines were used for interview activities. All instruments were arranged objectively and systematically. Data were analyzed using a thematic approach. The results showed that the use of Sevima Edlink helped the learning process become more structured and flexible. Teachers felt helped in distributing materials and assignments systematically, while students found it easier to access and understand learning independently. Although several obstacles were encountered, such as internet connectivity issues and adapting to the use of applications, this did not hinder the teaching and learning process. Thus, Sevima Edlink is considered worthy and adequate for use as an online learning medium, especially in supporting the digitalization of education in the modern era.

Abstract

Pengembangan Pos Lintas Batas Negara (PLBN) menjadi salah satu Proyek yang areanya masih sulit dijangkau transportasi, berlokasi dipedalaman Kalimantan Utara yaitu didaerah perbatasan Indonesia-Malaysia. Tujuan dari Penelitian ini adalah menentukan faktor-faktor penyebab terjadinya cost overrun pada Proyek pedalaman yang sulit terjangkau transportasi, sehingga hasil Analisisnya dapat digunakan untuk mengetahui strategi antisipasi yang akan diterapkan pada Proyek selanjutnya. Penelititan ini menggunakan metode kulitatif yang dikuantitatifkan dari kuesioner yang diberi skor penilaian (skala likert) disetiap variabel penyebab cost overrun oleh responden sehingga didapatkan faktor yang paling signifikan mempengaruhi cost overrun. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa terdapat 14 (empat belas) kriteria yang sangat signifikan, cukup signifikan, dan signifikan berdampak terhadap cost overrun. Model strategi dan adaptasi terhadap cost overrun Proyek di pedalaman dan diarea lintas batas negara adalah secara berurutan dari yang sangat signifikan pada kriteria berikut Unupdated price, Costing error, Unprofessional manpower, Unmanage engineering process, Unusual project location, Uncompleted drawing dan Uncommon contract addendum. Strategi korektif, digunakan metode avoidance dan mitigation, yang melibatkan proses pengenalan risiko sejak awal serta penerapan langkah-langkah mitigatif untuk mengurangi atau mencegah risiko yang telah teridentifikasi. Abstract

The aim of the study was to determine the effect of the use of audio-visual media on social studies learning outcomes for fourth grade students of SD Negeri Alluka, Gowa Regency. The type of research used in this research is research with a pre-experimental design and uses a quantitative approach. Place and time of this research at SD Negeri Alluka on May 22, 2023. The research subjects used in this research were 28 grade IV students. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, testing and documentation. The results showed that the use of audio-visual media in social studies learning had an effect on the learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SD Negeri Alluka, Gowa Regency. This can be seen in the average value of student learning outcomes before the use of audio-visual media is low at 43% and after the use of audio-visual media the average value obtained is high, namely 93% so that it can be concluded that there is an effect of using audio-visual media because it can increase social studies learning outcomes for fourth grade students of SD Negeri Alluka, Gowa Regency.

Abstract

Setiap manusia berhak mendapat dan berharap untuk selalu berkembang dalam pendidikan, untuk menunjang pemenuhan kebutuhan mereka yang semakin hari semakin kompleks. Pendidikan merupakan usaha sadar dan terencana untuk mewujudkan suasana belajar dan proses pembelajaran agar peserta didik secara aktif mengembangkan potensi dirinya untuk memiliki kekuatan spiritual keagamaan, pengendalian diri, kepribadian, kecerdasan, akhlak mulia, serta keterampilan yang diperlukan dirinya, masyarakat, bangsa dan negara. Tanpa pendidikan, seseorang akan sulit untuk beradaptasi serta mendapatkan pekerjaan yang layak. Karena itu, masa depan bangsa bergantung pada formulasi pendidikan yang berlaku. Dalam perumusan formulasi kebijakan pendidikan tentunya tidak ditetapkan begitu saja melainkan mempertimbangkan banyak faktor dan beberapa kondisi yang harus disesuaikan dengan iklim masyarakat suatu bangsa. Formulasi kebijakan pendidikan yang telah ditetapkan oleh negara akan semakin bagus ketika stakeholder pelaksana mumpuni dalam mengimplementasikannya. Sehingga perlu ada penyesuaian kompetensi para stakeholder yang menjadi ujung tombat pelaksaan formulasi kebijakan pendidikan.Kata Kunci: Kebijakan Pendidikan; Kompetensi; Pendidikan

Abstract

Cultural literacy refers to the understanding of values, norms, and cultural practices that form part of social life. In the educational context, cultural literacy plays an important role in shaping students’ character, particularly in developing social skills. This study aims to describe the implementation of cultural literacy within the school environment and its contribution to the development of students’ social skills. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that activities such as reading folktales, illustrating local cultural symbols, presenting one’s own and others’ cultures, effectively foster social skills including cooperation, respect, and empathy. The study concludes that cultural literacy can serve as an effective strategy for strengthening character education and enhancing students’ social skills in the school setting.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan mengetahui bentuk pelaksanaan, proses pelaksanaan, faktor pendukung dan penghambat pelaksanaan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi pada sekolah SMP IT Al-Fatih Makassar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskripif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Informan penelitian sebanyak 7 (tujuh) orang terdiri dari kepala sekolah, wakasek kurikulum, 5 orang guru. Jenis data primer dan data skunder. Teknik Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini mengunakan 3 (tiga) teknik yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data ada tiga yaitu; pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Triangulasi data yang digunkan terdiri dari triangulasi sumber, triangulasi Teknik dan triangulasi waktu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berdiferensiasi terdiri dari diferensiasi konten, proses, dan produk. Dalam diferensiasi konten, guru memberikan materi pembelajaran yang berbeda kepada kelompok siswa berdasarkan tingkat pemahaman, minat, dan profil belajar siswa. Dalam diferensiasi proses, guru memberikan berbagai pilihan kepada siswa untuk memilih cara mereka memahami dan menguasai materi. Dalam diferensiasi produk, guru memberikan kesempatan kepada siswa untuk memilih cara mereka memahami dan menguasai materi. SMP IT Al-Fatih di Makassar menggunakan proses pembelajaran berdiferensiasi, yang mencakup penyesuaian materi, strategi pengajaran, dan evaluasi siswa. Guru melakukan evaluasi diagnostik sebelum mengajar untuk mengetahui kebutuhan siswa. Mereka berkonsentrasi pada kemampuan siswa, memilih materi yang sesuai, dan menggunakan teknologi untuk menarik perhatian siswa. Di setiap kelas, evaluasi dilakukan secara berbeda, memungkinkan siswa berpartisipasi secara aktif. Faktor pendukungnya termasuk motivasi siswa, suasana belajar positif, supervisi berkala, dan dukungan kepala sekolah. Hambatan yang ditemui seperti stigmatisasi pada siswa masih perlu diatasi.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini membahas dampak positif pemanfaatan platform Canva dalam konteks pendidikan guru Sekolah Dasar (PGSD) di Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar. Dengan fokus pada peningkatan kreativitas, efisiensi pembuatan bahan ajar, dan estetika materi pembelajaran, Canva terbukti memberikan nilai tambah yang signifikan. Mahasiswa PGSD melaporkan peningkatan kepercayaan diri dan persepsi terhadap peningkatan profesionalisme sebagai calon guru. Variasi dan keberagaman dalam tampilan bahan ajar serta eksplorasi lebih lanjut dalam merancang pembelajaran juga menjadi hasil positif. Data persentase menunjukkan mayoritas mahasiswa merasa positif terhadap pemanfaatan Canva, mengindikasikan kontribusi positif pada peningkatan mutu pembelajaran di bidang PGSD. Keseluruhan, Canva bukan hanya alat desain grafis, tetapi juga berperan dalam membentuk pengalaman pembelajaran yang lebih menarik dan beragam. Hasil Pengabdian ini dapat menjadi landasan untuk mengembangkan dan mengintegrasikan Canva lebih lanjut dalam strategi pengajaran di institusi pendidikan guru, bertujuan pada peningkatan mutu pembelajaran di bidang PGSD.
