Abstract

Purpose: Technology in education is no longer just a wishful thinking. Technology is here to make all the impossibilities that once existed disappear. However, its use has not been able to reach everyone. Many have encountered obstacles in accessing it. Lack of knowledge about technology, resistance to change, lack of technology facilities and inadequate school infra-structure, digitalization gap, security and privacy, to the problem of distraction. The purpose of this study is to 1) analyze the condition of professional competence of elementary school teachers in the digital era; 2) identify challenges and obstacles faced by teachers in making the quality of learning in elementary schools better through teacher professional compe-tence in the digital era; 3) formulate effective strategies in making the quality of learning in elementary schools better through teacher professional competence in the digital era. Methodology: The type of research used is qualitative research. Results: Word The results of the study, namely 1) the condition of the professional competence of digital era teachers at Mi Muhammadiyah Kertonatan is currently in good condition with the training of operating technological devices for teachers; 2) there are 3 challenges and obstacles faced by teachers at Mi Muhammadiyah Kertonatan in making the quality of learning better through the professional competence of teachers in the digital era, namely teachers with more senior age often have difficulty in operating technological devices, demands in educating Gen Z with critical thinking characteristics, and the limited availability of technological devices; 3) there are 5 effective strategies in making learning quality in elementary schools better through teachers' professional competence in the digital era, namely continuous training or workshops, technology integration, collaboration between teachers, parental involvement, and flexible curriculum development.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to explore the implementation of differentiated learning in grade VI Indonesian language subjects by utilizing the Merdeka Mengajar Platform application at Gadungan Elementary School. Methodology: The method used is descriptive qualitative. Data were collected through in-terviews, observations, and document studies related to the implementation of differentiated learning and the use of the Merdeka Mengajar Platform ap-plication. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Assessment techniques for checking data validity are technical triangulation and source triangulation. Results: The results showed that differentiated learning has been implemented at Gadungan Elementary School, especially in Indonesian language subjects in class VI with the support of sources from the Merdeka Mengajar platform. Variations in differentiated learning methods can increase student motiva-tion and creativity. In addition, differentiated learning also has a positive impact on the development of Pancasila Student Profile characters, such as cooperation, creativity, and critical reasoning. The utilization of the Merdeka Mengajar platform is still not optimal, especially when using the assessment and reflection features. However, using the Merdeka Mengajar platform helps teachers find references to learning resources or teaching modules, ex-amples of formative assessments, and relevant learning videos. Applications/Originality/Value: Differentiated learning by utilizing the Merdeka Mengajar Platform has the potential to increase the effectiveness of the implementation of the inde-pendent curriculum.

Abstract

Purpose: This study analyzes POAC learning management (planning, organizing, im-plementing, and controlling/evaluating) in implementing the Pancasila student profile strengthening project at SD Negeri 01 Sedayu. Method: This study employs a case study methodology and a descriptive qualitative technique. The data in this study consisted of primary data, namely, class II teachers and principals, additional data sources from other teachers, and documentation. Methodology: The methodology used in the research of Joyful Learning method in junior high school is semi-structured interviews and school observation, which are used to collect data using a qualitative research approach. Results: Learning management in the implementation of P5 at SD Negeri 01 Sedayu includes: (1) Planning: The school held a meeting, formed a team of facilita-tors, assessed school readiness, selected project dimensions and themes, de-termined time allocations and project modules, and used an independent teaching platform in P5 planning. (2) Organizing: A facilitator team with a structure that includes principals, teachers, and extracurricular coaches with their respective roles and responsibilities. (3) Implementation: Teachers choose themes and activities that suit the needs of students through the stages of introduction, contextualization, action, and documentation of project re-sults. (4) Evaluation: Evaluation is done through direct observation, non-test methods, formative and summative assessment, and constructive feedback. Applications/Originality/Value: The novelty of this research lies in the in-depth exploration of the role of implementing learning management with the POAC approach in implement-ing P5 with a sustainable lifestyle dimension in elementary schools. The findings indicate that the successful execution of the project to improve Pan-casila's student profile is influenced by management.

Abstract

Purpose: The aim of this research is to find out about cultural literacy at SD Negeri Wonotolo 3, Sragen Regency, and how it is managed through superior programs to enhance multicultural awareness. Methodology: This research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Results: The findings show that cultural literacy management through superior programs at SDN Wonotolo 3 effectively increases multicultural awareness. (1) Planning is carried out by the school’s Cultural Team, which formulates objectives and identifies the school's potential. (2) Organizing involves structuring resources and defining roles to implement cultural literacy programs effectively. (3) Monitoring is conducted regularly or irregularly, involving various stakeholders, especially the Culture Team. (4) Obstacles faced include the diversity of student characteristics and limited funding. (5) Implementation of a quality cultural program has resulted in achievements by students, teachers, principals, and the school institution at sub-district, district, provincial, and national levels. Applications/Originality/Value: This study provides insights into how structured cultural literacy programs can foster multicultural awareness in primary schools. It also highlights practical strategies for planning, organizing, and monitoring such initiatives in resource-limited settings.
