Abstract

Kabupaten Jombang adalah Kota Santri yang memiliki beberapa tempat wisata. Pengembangan potensi wisata dan kuliner di Jombang dengan sumber daya lokal adalah salah satu upaya untuk mengangkat citra makanan lokal agar bisa diminati masyarakat secara luas. Makanan khas Jombang yang melegenda adalah lodeh kikil yang merupakan makanan kesukaan Bapak Abdurrahman Wahid atau Gus Dur. Pengembangan bisnis Lodeh Kikil dalam program pemberdayaan masyarakat berbasis produk ini menggunakan metode : Business Model Canvas (BMC), Inovasi Packaging, Manajemen Keuangan dan Digital Marketing. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kelas UMKM. Kesimpulan ini menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa dan dosen merupakan kelompok mayoritas yang mengisi kuisioner lodeh kikil ini. Luaran penting yaitu kepuasan pembeli setelah makan lodeh kikil yaitu :  1. Aroma/Bau Kikil, 2. Warna Kikil, 3. Kemudahan Diperoleh, 4. Kebersihan Produk, 5. Bungkus Kuat, 6. Kekenyalan Kikil, 7. Produk Tahan Lama, 8. Ukuran Kikil, 9. Kesesuaian Rasa, 10. Bungkus Menarik, dan 11. Harga Produk. Selain itu luarannya adalah : beberapa jenis kemasan, stiker,  dan cara mengemas produk kepada para pengusaha lodeh kikil. Beberapa jenis kemasan, antara lain : paper bowl, thinwall, kemasan frozen, dan kemasan pincuk.

Abstract

Penguatan usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM) menjadi salah satu pilar penting dalam pembangunan ekonomi masyarakat, termasuk pada sektor peternakan sapi perah. Kampoeng Ternak H. Hajir yang terletak di Desa Ngelom Megare, Kecamatan Taman, Kabupaten Sidoarjo, merupakan UMKM yang bergerak di bidang peternakan dan pengolahan susu sapi perah. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi mitra adalah lemahnya strategi pemasaran dan terbatasnya kapasitas sumber daya manusia dalam mengelola usaha, khususnya dalam aspek digitalisasi dan penyajian produk secara menarik. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah memberikan solusi untuk meningkatkan daya saing UMKM melalui penguatan pemasaran dan peningkatan kapasitas SDM pengelola. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi penyuluhan, pelatihan, diskusi partisipatif, dan pendampingan intensif oleh tim pengabdian. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman mitra terhadap strategi pemasaran, yang tercermin dari hasil pre-test dan post-test: nilai rata-rata pre-test mitra sebesar 54,6 meningkat menjadi 87,3 pada post-test (peningkatan sebesar 59,9%). Selain itu, perubahan nyata terjadi dalam penataan ruang usaha, redesain banner promosi, serta penerapan digital marketing melalui website, GoFood, dan GrabFood. Kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan keterampilan pengelola dalam mengelola pemasaran secara daring dan menarik, serta diharapkan dapat mendorong peningkatan omzet penjualan secara berkelanjutan.

The purpose of this research is to improve the economy of MSMEs through social media in Sambiroto village. This research is conducted by the ABCD (Assets Based Community Development) method with dimulai from assets and power owned by the community, assets to develop the potential / opportunities that exist. assets organized and mobilized, and finally mandiri and sustainability. The results of the research using the ABCD approach method, para business people of Sambiroto village MSMEs finally began to know social media as a marketing tool and began to be interested in social media for the marketing of MSME products. Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effect of roasting methods on the chemical and functional properties of Liberica coffee, focusing on caffeine content, total phenolic content (TPC), and antioxidant activity. Two roasting approaches were compared: semi-automatic roasting with controlled conditions, and traditional pan roasting with manual heat regulation. Caffeine levels were determined using UV-Vis spectrophotometry at 273 nm, while TPC was measured using the Folin–Ciocalteu method. Antioxidant activity was assessed via DPPH radical scavenging assay. The results revealed that semi-automatic roasting preserved more bioactive compounds, with higher caffeine content (1.86%) and TPC (56.84 mg GAE/g), compared to conventional roasting (1.34% and 41.27 mg GAE/g, respectively). Antioxidant activity was also significantly higher in semi-automatically roasted samples, with 72.3% inhibition and lower IC₅₀ value (168.5 ppm). These findings indicate that semi-automatic roasting enhances both chemical quality and functional potential of Liberica coffee. The study supports the application of controlled roasting technologies in post-harvest processing to improve the health-related value and market competitiveness of Liberica coffee products.

Abstract

Used cooking oil can be reused, one of which is to make liquid soap. Used cooking oil is first filtered and then clarified with activated carbon. This study aims to process used cooking oil into liquid soap by adding the red ginger extract to the formula. The method used in this research is the descriptive method. The results of this study showed that the liquid soap sample containing a red ginger extract did not meet the applicable standards based on several test parameters. Therefore, further research and development are needed to improve the composition of soap-making ingredients so that they can produce products that are more effective when used in everyday life.

Abstract

UMKM (Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah) “Dapur Atha” yang bergerak dibidang bisnis makanan selama ini penjualannya tidak mengalami peningkatan hal ini dikarenakan adanya proses pemasaran yang kurang meluas. Mitra hanya memasrkan produknya hanya di sekitar Wilayah Taman atau wilayah tempat produksi saja. Dengan adanya kondisi tersebut, maka diperlukan kemajuan teknologi dengan melakukan penjualan melalui pemasaran online dengan media Website Statis dan Pengembangan Pemasaran melalui E-Commerce Shopee. Tujuan program ini adalah melaksanakan sosialisasi dan pelatihan tentang pemasaran secara online bagi mitra. Adapun hasil kegiatan dari program ini adalah adanya peningkatan kunjungan dan penjualan baik dalam Website Statis dan E-Commerce Shopee.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a chronic metabolic disorder characterized by persistent hyperglycemia resulting from impaired insulin secretion or action. This condition remains a leading cause of global morbidity and mortality and is closely associated with various metabolic complications and cancer risk. This study aimed to identify potential molecular targets and hormonal regulatory mechanisms involved in diabetes management. A systematic review was conducted by searching indexed scientific articles in databases such as ScienceDirect and Google Scholar using the keywords “diabetes,” “molecular targets,” “insulin sensitivity,” and “hormonal regulation.” The analysis identified six major molecular mechanisms contributing to improved insulin action and glucose homeostasis, involving targets such as human islet amyloid polypeptide (hIAPP), ?-glucosidase, dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4), sodium-glucose co-transporter-2 (SGLT2), glucose transporter type 4 (GLUT4) translocation, RNA-binding proteins (RBPs), and key enzymatic pathways associated with glucose metabolism. The development of therapeutic approaches directed toward these pathways could significantly enhance diabetes control, improve insulin sensitivity, and prevent long-term complications.

Abstract

This research investigates the development and testing of an interactive e-module based on inquiry learning, designed to improve students’ understanding of derivatives in calculus. The study adopts a Research and Development (R&D) approach, which involves several stages: design, prototype creation, testing, and revision. The e-module incorporates interactive exercises, real-time feedback, and multimedia elements to engage students in active learning. A pre- and post-test assessment was conducted to measure the effectiveness of the e-module, revealing a 20% improvement in students’ conceptual understanding of derivatives. Feedback from students indicated that the e-module’s interactive features, including visual representations, problem-solving activities, and immediate corrections, significantly enhanced their learning experience. The results were compared with traditional printed materials, showing that the interactive e-module was more effective in improving students' problem-solving skills and overall understanding of abstract concepts in calculus. The findings suggest that technology-enhanced tools, such as interactive e-modules, offer a promising approach to calculus education, fostering deeper engagement and providing immediate feedback, which traditional methods fail to offer. These tools are particularly beneficial in bridging the gap between theoretical understanding and practical application in higher education. The study also recommends expanding the use of inquiry-based learning and interactive modules to other areas of mathematics and STEM education. Future research should focus on refining the e-module to include more personalized learning pathways and explore its long-term effects on students' performance across various subjects.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berawal dari tingginya penggunaan pengawet kimia berbahaya dalam makanan, sehingga diperlukan alternatif pengawet alami yang lebih aman. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis proses produksi asap cair dari tempurung kelapa dalam sistem tertutup, mengevaluasi efektivitasnya sebagai pengawet ikan, dan mengamati perubahan kualitas ikan setelah perlakuan. Metode yang digunakan meliputi produksi asap cair melalui pirolisis, kondensasi, dan pemurnian hingga grade 1, kemudian diaplikasikan pada ikan dengan berbagai konsentrasi, yaitu 0%, 2%, 4%, dan 6%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa asap cair mengandung senyawa fenolik dan asam organik yang dapat menghambat pertumbuhan mikroba, menstabilkan pH, dan menjaga warna, aroma, dan tekstur ikan. Konsentrasi 4–6% ditemukan paling efektif. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah asap cair berbasis limbah tempurung kelapa berpotensi menjadi pengawet alami yang aman dan ramah lingkungan dibandingkan dengan pengawet sintetis.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has opened up opportunities for villages to improve the quality of public services and administrative documentation systems more efficiently and transparently. This service activity aims to improve the service and efficiency of village beautification, increase the capacity of village and kentong apparatus, Glagah District, Lamongan Regency in the use of information technology through training and socialization of village website management. The activity was carried out in the form of hands-on training for village officials and karangtaruna cadres regarding content management, information publication, and digital uploading of administrative documents from December 2024 to March 2025. The initial evaluation was conducted through questionnaires and brief interviews, which showed that most participants found the practical approach applied. However, it was found that there are still limitations in participants' confidence to manage websites independently, as well as the need for follow-up assistance, especially related to data security and digital document management. This activity is the first step in the digital transformation process at the village level. The limitation of this activity lies in the scope of implementation which is still limited to the initial socialization and training stage, without being followed by the full implementation stage and continuous monitoring. Follow-up in the form of technical assistance and advanced training is needed so that the use of the village web can run optimally and sustainably.
