Abstract

Abstract Customers like to pay now with cash, debit cards, and online banking. On the other hand, they like to pay later with loans and credit cards. Pay later known now as paylater is growing in popularity, and many people prefer to use it over other means of payment. However, paylater has had enough customers for a study that can look at user satisfaction. Therefore, this study tries to find out what factors make customers satisfied with the paylater service. The research method used is qualitative by means of a survey of 280 students with an average age group of 15-20 years, while the factors studied after conducting a literature study to find the strength of the relationship between the five independent variables: study program, gender, monthly income, monthly expenses, and awareness of paylater to the dependent variable, namely customer satisfaction with paylater services, were analysed using multiple linear regression. The results show that only two variables have a positive effect on customer satisfaction: study programme, which is assumed to be engineering and non-engineering study programme, and paylater awareness. We conclude that if there is an engineering and non-engineering study programme background, with an awareness of paylater meaning that the knowledge of paylater both in terms of benefits and risks increases, customer satisfaction will be achieved. The findings of this study add to what is already known by linking paylater user satisfaction to ideas that have been researched in other technology environments.

Abstract

Healthcare facilities must monitor waste generation data daily so it can always be tracked as reference for medical waste management. Mostly, each Fasyankes has a scale to record their medical waste generation at their facilities, but this data’s only available within the Fasyankes. The medical waste generation data from Fasyankes still needs to be recapitulated for reporting so that it’s available for policymakers to support the medical waste management from Fasyankes. However, human error significantly affects the data when weighing, because the waste weighing is done twice: first during the disposal and transfer of medical waste from its source to Temporary Disposal Site, and second when the medical waste is collected by the third party who has permission and MoU with the healthcare facility, with different monitoring officers present during the disposal to the TPS and during the collection by the third party. The numerous complaints regarding this matter led the Ministry of Health to collaborate with United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to develop an application named ME-SMILE in 2023. This application utilizes Internet of Things technology with sensors, microprocessors, and modules. Type of Research: Implementation Research with Research Design: case study, which falls under descriptive analysis research, namely research that is focused on a specific case to be observed and analyzed thoroughly and meticulously. With this research, it is hoped to share experiences and knowledge for the authors, especially in addressing the issues of implementing the Me-Smile application in healthcare facilities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine teachers' perceptions of the concept of gamification learning models in vocabulary learning in Elementary Schools. Several opinion analyses are discussed in depth, reviewed from the topic of readiness for learning implementation, effectiveness, and its influence in improving vocabulary memorization skills. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with elementary school teachers from a number of schools and different grade levels as subjects. The data collection technique was carried out through interviews, namely by displaying a number of questions in a form that was filled in directly in the form of an opinion description. The results of the study showed that teachers were not yet ready to apply the gamification learning model, because their provisions and foundations in developing new teaching methods were still minimal. Teachers need technical guidance regarding insights into planning and technological innovation. However, teachers believe that the concept of gamification will be effective if applied in teaching English vocabulary. This model is quite interesting, presenting interactive features in it that can form a collaborative learning between peers so as to foster social values, skills and enthusiasm for learning.

Abstract

Engine performance refers to the capability of an internal combustion engine to convert input energy, specifically fuel, into useful power. One method to enhance engine performance is to modify components of the intake system that affect airflow. A turbo insulator, which is a modified gasket connecting the carburetor to the intake manifold, is designed to generate turbulent airflow into the combustion chamber, thus improving combustion efficiency. This study aims to design and evaluate a turbo insulator on the intake manifold of a Suzuki Shogun NR-125 CC motorcycle through experimental testing of its impact on engine performance—specifically torque and power. A descriptive analysis method was employed for data analysis. Engine performance testing was conducted using an engine dynamometer, following ISO 1585 standards, within an engine speed range of 3,000 to 9,000 rpm, under standard factory conditions and with various turbo insulator configurations (5 and 7 blades, 45° and 60° blade angles, 4 mm and 8 mm thicknesses). The results indicate that the turbo insulator improves engine performance. The most optimal configuration, V-5 (5 blades, 45° angle, 8 mm thickness), achieved a maximum torque of 11.27 Nm at 3,500 rpm and a maximum power output of 10 HP at 7,750
