Abstract

Tumbuhan obat merupakan tumbuhan yang bisa diambil manfaatnya sebagai obat herbal yang mempunyai kandungan yang berkhasiat obat dan penggunaannya tidak berbahaya untuk tubuh kita. Desa Anutapura merupakan desa yang secara administratif berada di Kecamatan Bolano Lambunu Kebupaten Parigi Moutong Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tumbuhan obat apa saja yang dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat suku Bugis di desa Anutapura dan untuk menghasilkan buku saku yang layak dijadikan sebagai sumber belajar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode wawancara terstruktur. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa jenis tumbuhan obat yang dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat suku Bugis di desa Anutapura Kecamatan Bolano Lambunu sebanyak 30 jenis tumbuhan obat yang terdiri dari 20 ordo, 24 famili dan buku saku yang dianggap sangat layak sebagai sumber belajar dengan persentase kumulatif kelayakan sebesar 83%.

Abstract

Mie basah adalah mie mentah yang sebelum dipasarkan mengalami perebusan dalam air mendidih lebih dahulu. Kelor (Moringa oleifera L) dikenal memiliki sifat fungsional bagi kesehatan dan dapat mengatasi kekurangan nutrisi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan kandungan serat dan vitamin C pada mie basah yang telah ditambahkan tepung daun kelor serta menghasilkan media pembelajarn dalam bentuk video. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dan analisis data menggunakan anova pada program SPSS 25. Penentuan kandungan serat menggunakan metode Gravimetri sedangkan kandungan vitamin C menggunakan metode Spektrovometri Uv-Vis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan semakin banyak pemberian tepung daun kelor pada mie basah maka kandungan serat dan vitamin C akan semakin meningkat pula. Kandungan serat tertinggi terdapat pada perlakuan 3 sebesar 8,98% dan kandungan vitamin C tertinggi terdapat pada perlakuan 3 sebesar 90,52%. Hasil uji kelayakan media pembelajaran video menyatakan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran dalam bentuk video.

Abstract

Tanaman hias merupakan tanaman yang dianggap cantik dan unik yang dapat memberikan kesan estetik bagi orang yang melihatnya. Penelitian ini telah dilakukan pada bulan November 2022. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan jenis-jenis tanaman hias yang terdapat di Desa Dolago dan menghasilkan media pembelajaran yang layak digunakan oleh masyarakat Desa Dolago. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu deskripsif kualitatif dengan menggunakan tekhnik purposive dengan pertimbangan menentukan lokasi yang paling banyak membudidayakan tanaman hias. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh 52 species tanaman hias yang terdapat di Desa Dolago yang termasuk dalam 24 familia dan 38 genus. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan sumber belajar dalam bentuk buku saku. Penilaian media buku saku oleh masing-masing dosen dan mahasiswa yaitu dengan persentase keseluruhan 81,47%, hasil persentase tersebut menunjukkan bahwa buku sakun yang dibuat sangat layak digunakan sebagai sumber belajar.

Abstract

This study aims to identify rice field weeds in Salumpaga Village, North Tolitoli District. Rice field weeds are wild plants that grow in rice fields and are undesirable to farmers because they inhibit the growth of rice plants. The method used was descriptive with purposive sampling techniques. The weeds identified were those that already had complete organs such as roots, stems, and leaves. The results of the study identified 25 types of weeds, namely, the Asteraceae family (Synedrella nodiflora (L.), Erigeron sumatrensis (Retz.), Ageratum conyzoides (L.), Tridax procumbens (L.), Sphogneticola trilobata (L.), Chromolaena odorata (L.) King & H.Rob, Mikania scandens (L.) and Mikania mikrantha (Kunth.)). Fabaceae family (Mimosa pudica (L.) and Crotalaria pallida (Var.)). Euphorbiaceae family (Euphorbia hirta (L.) and Macaranga peltata (Roxb.)). Cyperaceae family (Kyllinga brevifolia (Rottb.) Hassk. and Cyperus compressus (L.)). Lamiaceae family (Hyptis brevipes (Poit.) and Gmelina arborea (Roxb.)). Convolvulaceae family (Ipomoea aquatica (Forssk.) and Ipomoea triloba (L.)). Poaceae family (Hymenachne amplexicaulis (Rudge.)). Oxalidaceae family (Oxalis stricta (L.)). Rubiaceae family (Oldenlandia corymbosa (L.)). Onocleaceae family (Matteuccia sturthiopteris (L.) Tod). Abstract

This study aims to describe the diversity of seagrass species found on the coast of Malanggo Pesisir Village, South Tinombo District, Parigi Moutong Regency. This study used a quantitative descriptive method with a linear quadratic transect technique conducted at three observation stations. Each station was observed to determine the type and number of seagrass individuals found. The data obtained were then analyzed using the Shannon-Wiener diversity index (H’) to determine the level of seagrass species diversity at the study site. The results showed that there were five seagrass species found, namely Enhalus acoroides, Thalassia hemprichii, Halodule pinifolia, Halodule uninervis, and Cymodocea rotundata. The total number of seagrass individuals obtained was 8,548 with a diversity index value (H’) of 1.518 which is classified as moderate. This value indicates that the seagrass ecosystem in the waters of Malanggo Pesisir Village is in a relatively stable condition and is able to support the existence of several seagrass species. However, human activities around the coastal area have the potential to put pressure on the balance of the seagrass ecosystem. Therefore, efforts are needed to manage and preserve seagrass ecosystems sustainably so that their ecological function is maintained.

Abstract

Umbut rotan (rotan muda) merupakan salah satu bahan pangan (sayur dan lalapan) yang populer dari beberapa daerah. Di Desa Sibado, Kecamatan Sirenja, umbut rotan noko (Daemonorops robusta) menjadi bagian penting dalam pola konsumsi masyarakat lokal. Namun, informasi yang terbatas mengenai kandungan gizi umbut rotan tersebut membuat pentingnya penelitian untuk mengevaluasi nilai gizinya. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kandungan gizi, yakni kadar karbohidrat, kadar lemak, kadar protein, kadar air, dan kadar abu pada umbut rotan noko di wilayah tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan melakukan analisis proksimat. Uji kadar lemak menggunakan metode Soxhlet, uji kadar protein menggunakan metode spektrofotometri, uji kadar air menggunakan metode termogravimetri, uji kadar abu menggunakan metode dry ashing, dan uji kadar karbohidrat menggunakan metode perbedaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata kadar lemak sebesar 0,332%, kadar protein sebesar 2,110%, kadar air sebesar 90,280%, kadar abu sebesar 1,196%, dan kadar karbohidrat sebesar 6,082%. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam pemahaman akan kandungan gizi umbut rotan noko (Daemonorops robusta) dan memperkuat dasar untuk mengangkat umbut rotan sebagai bahan pangan yang layak dikonsumsi oleh masyarakat setempat.

Abstract

Apis nigrocincta is an endemic honey bee that is only found in two regions in Indonesia, namely the Sangihe Islands and Sulawesi Islands. Phylogenetic analysis is used to describe the phylogenetic relationship of Sulawesi endemic honey bee A. nigrocincta based on the 16S rRNA gene. Sampling using the cruising method in various regions, then DNA isolation, DNA amplification, sequencing, and continued bioinformatics analysis using GeneStudio, DNASTAR, MESQUITE, and MEGA 11. The results showed that phylogenetic analysis with the Neighbor-Joining (NJ) and Maximum Likelihood (ML) methods produced a phylogenetic tree that illustrates clear evolutionary relationships. A. nigrocincta from Central Sulawesi is more closely related to other A. nigrocincta species in the same clade, while other species are separated. The results of this study show a clear pattern of kinship between A. nigrocincta populations.

Abstract

The study aims to identify the main feed source for Apis nigrocincta through the analysis of polent morphology. The study uses explorative descriptive methods with qualitative and quantitative approaches. The focus of this study is the identification of feed source for endemic honeybees of Sulawesi, Apis nigrocincta through the analysis of polent morphology. Through the approach of polent morphology analysis, successfully identified 12 plant species from 9 families that could potentially be feed sources such as, Cucurbita maxima, Clematis viticella, Clematis montana, Pseuderanthemum tropurpureum, Cersicaria odorata, Solamun torvum, Solamun nigrum, Pine mercussii, Piper betle, Piper nigrum, and Galium aparine identification showed the presence of polyn diversity that supports the nutritional needs of bees, and emphasized the importance of local vegetation conservation to maintain the sustainability of the A. nigrocincta population. The results of the study showed that the polen has characteristics such as the polish unit, size, shape, shape on the P and E side, aperture type, as well as exin ornamentation. The polents collected by bees A. nigrocincta come from various types of plants, namely fruits, ornamental plants, vegetable plants, herb plants, and trees. This diversity reflects the flexibility of bees in choosing food sources based on availability in the surrounding environment. The results of the identification of the polymer samples showed that 12 species of plants that are the main feed source for A. nigrocincta bees are sourced from the polen. Each species has different flower characteristics, both in terms of shape and color. Polen diversity indicates that the environment around Jononunu Village has a rich ecosystem with different types of flowering plants.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify the types of ferns (Pteriodophyta) found on the Nokilalaki Mountain Climbing Trail, Tongoa Village, Palolo District, Sigi Regency. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive research using the exploration method and free collection sampling techniques. This study aims to describe existing phenomena. In it there are efforts to describe, record, and analyze the conditions that are happening factually. The results of the study conducted on the Mount Nokilalaki Climbing Trail, Tongoa Village, Palolo District, Sigi Regency obtained 26 types of ferns consisting of 4 classes, 6 orders, 14 families. Of the 26 types of ferns (Pteridophyta) found, namely Dryopteris filix-mas, Dryopteris marginalis, Rumohra adiantiformis, Neprolepis cordifolia, Athyrium macrocarpum, Asplenium nidus, Asplenium polyodon, Davallia trichomanoides, Microsorum fortune, Pteris biaurita, Nephrolepis biserrata, Nephrolepis sp, Microlepia speluncea, Microsorum pustulatum, Pyrrosia lanceolata, Pyrrosia philoselloides, Microsorum punctatum, Vittaria elongate, Angiopteris evecta, Cristella dentate, Selaginela wildewoii, Selaginela involvens, Selaginela sp, Selaginella apoda, Huperzia lucidula. Hymenophyllum sp.

Abstract

This study aims to describe student participation in science learning at SMP Negeri 18 Palu. Student participation in science learning is considered important because it can enhance active involvement, conceptual understanding, and collaboration among students, contributing to the quality of learning. This research uses a descriptive quantitative approach with 115 students from grades VII, VIII, and IX who were selected randomly. The instrument used was a questionnaire to measure the level of student participation, and the data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results show that (1) student participation is categorized into five main activities: asking questions, giving opinions, discussing, working on group assignments, and presenting in front of the class. (2) Most students actively participated in these activities, with the highest participation found in discussion and presentation activities. (3) Students are more active when the material is linked to everyday life and delivered in an interesting way through visual and interactive media. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that active student participation positively contributes to the quality of science learning at SMP Negeri 18 Palu.
