Abstract

Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, learning was carried out online using an e-learning system. With this system, all students and teachers can even carry out learning even though they are at home. This study aims to analyze teachers' intentions in using e-learning during the covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a modified model of TAM (Technology Acceptance Model). This study uses 7 Likert scales in measuring all indicators. The data analysis method uses Structured Equation Models (SEM). The results of the study show that perceived ease of use (USE) has a significant effect on teacher intentions in utilizing e-learning, while perceived ease of use (EASE) has no significant effect on the use of e-learning. Gender was not proven to be a moderating variable on the relationship between USE and EASE with teachers' intentions to use e-learning. Teacher age strengthens the USE relationship to e-learning use. However, teacher age weakens the relationship between EASE and e-learning use. Male and female teachers have the same understanding regarding e-learning. In addition, teachers with a more mature age see e-learning as a system that provides benefits for them to carry out their duties as teachers. They also focus more on improving performance. On the other hand, teachers with more mature ages are less concerned about the ease of using e-learning.

Abstract

The problem faced by Islamic Boarding Schools is that waste management is not yet optimal. Most of this waste is from leftover food and other consumption by all students. The impact of this condition is the accumulation of school boarding waste, which is not utilized properly. Community Service Model with Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach through participatory training consisting of socialization, training, and implementation of organic waste management in Islamic boarding schools. Training activities will be continued with assistance until organic waste management has been running. Training materials include the basics of waste management. This service activity was carried out with lectures and maggot cultivation training involving 30 participants from Islamic boarding school students and residents. Participants were also invited directly to how to cultivate maggots. The results of the activity showed that participants had a good understanding of waste management, maggot cultivation, maggot maintenance, and maggot sales. Waste management begins with the sorting of organic and non-organic waste. Maggot cultivation begins with the purchase of maggot seeds and the provision of maggot food. Maggot sales include prisoners in the management of maggots to become products ready to be sold to consumers.

Abstract

This study analyses the influence of social media advertisements on consumer purchasing intentions within Malaysia's cosmetics and personal care sector, highlighting the significance of interactivity, informativeness, and trust. Considering the growing prevalence of social media in marketing, comprehending how these elements affect consumer choices is crucial for enhancing digital advertising strategies.  This research utilises a quantitative approach to evaluate consumer behaviour. Data were gathered from 384 Malaysian consumers aged 18 and older who actively interact with cosmetic and personal care brands on social media using online survey. The research employed descriptive analysis, reliability and validity assessments, and hypothesis testing to investigate the relationships among principal variables.  Research demonstrates that informativeness and trust in social media advertisements substantially increase purchase intentions, with trust acting as a vital mediator. Although interactivity enhances trust, it does not directly affect purchase intention, indicating that its influence may be contingent upon contextual variables. These findings underscore the imperative for brands to deliver transparent, reliable, and informative content to enhance consumer trust and stimulate purchasing behaviour. The study's originality is rooted in its examination of the Malaysian cosmetics and personal care market, providing practical insights for marketers to enhance social media advertising strategies. The research underscores trust as a pivotal factor, offering essential insights for brands aiming to improve their digital engagement. This study enhances the existing literature on digital marketing in emerging markets, providing practical insights for businesses seeking to improve their social media efficacy in Malaysia.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze and examine the effect of Fraud Diamond (pressure, opportunity, rationalization, and ability) and misuse of information technology on academic fraud behavior in class XI students at SMAN 11 Semarang. The population of this study were all the students of Class XI. The study used a cluster random sampling technique with 216 respondents. Data collection method using questionnaire. Data analysis using descriptive statistical analysis and path analysis with the help of analytical tools in the form of Excel and Smart-PLS 4. The results of this study indicate that opportunity, rationalization and ability have a positive effect on academic cheating behavior in grade XI students at SMAN 11 Semarang. Pressure and misuse of information technology have no effect on academic cheating behavior in class XI students at SMAN 11 Semarang. The suggestion of this research is that schools need to increase students' moral awareness and honesty through integration in the learning process. Schools can apply educational sanctions that have a positive impact on students who commit fraud, and teachers can evaluate the learning process on the achievement of students. Future research is expected to abuse information technology as a moderating variable and add self- control as an independent variable that can affect academic cheating behavior
