Abstract

AbstractThe independent curriculum is implemented and is based on developing student profiles so that they have the spirit and values contained in the Pancasila precepts. The independent curriculum promotes character education through the Pancasila student profile. The application of the independent curriculum is expected to be able to realize the vision of Indonesian education, namely to realize an advanced Indonesia that is independent, sovereign, and has personality. This study describes the form of implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project along with the obstacles and solutions faced by SMA Batik 1 Surakarta. This study uses a descriptive qualitative design. Data collection used techniques of documentation, interview, and observations of school leaders, PPKn teachers, and students. To test the validity of the data, it was carried out through source triangulation techniques, data collection technique triangulation, and time triangulation. Data analysis techniques using flow model analysis techniques. The results of the analysis show that: 1) Implementation of P5 is carried out for 3 weeks by working in groups; 2) through a project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students (P5) at Batik 1 Surakarta High School, they can increase the dimensions of cooperation and independence and students can develop themselves as Pancasila students; 3) The school cut the P5 implementation time to 1-2 weeks because of the saturation of students due to the long processing time.-----------Abstrak Kurikulum merdeka dilaksanakan dan didasarkan pada pengembangan profil siswa agar memiliki jiwa dan nilai yang terkandung dalam sila pancasila. Kurikulum merdeka mengedepankan pendidikan karakter melalui profil pelajar Pancasila. Pengaplikasian kurikulum merdeka diharapkan mampu mewujudkan visi pendidikan Indonesia yaitu mewujudkan Indonesia maju yang mandiri, berdaulat, dan berkepribadian. Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan bentuk implementasi Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila beserta hambatan dan solusi yang dihadapi SMA Batik 1 Surakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kualitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara dokumentasi, observasi terhadap pimpinan sekolah, guru PPKn, siswa. Untuk menguji keabsahan data dilakukan melalui teknik triangulasi sumber, triangulasi teknik pengumpulan data, dan triangulasi waktu. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis model alir. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Pelaksanaan P5 dilaksanakan selama 3 pekan dengan pengerjaan secara berkelompok; 2) melalui projek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila (P5) di SMA Batik 1 Surakarta dapat meningkatkan dimensi karakter bergotong royong dan mandiri serta siswa dapat mengembangkan diri sebagai pelajar Pancasila; 3) Pihak sekolah memotong waktu pelaksanaan P5 menjadi 1-2 pekan karena kejenuhan siswa akibat lamanya waktu pengerjaan.

Abstract

AbstrakGlobalisasi telah mendorong masuknya Korean Wave ke Indonesia yang menantang kesadaran nasionalisme dan kecintaan terhadap budaya bangsa. K-pop telah menjadi ciri khas Korean Wave karena persaingan yang signifikan antara girl band dan boy band, khususnya boy band BTS. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi dan mendeskripsikan pentingnya pendekatan kewarganegaraan dan kesadaran nasionalis di kalangan K-Popers. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode etnografi dengan teknik pengumpulan data survei, observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara terhadap lima orang wanita fans BTS di Solo, Jawa Tengah yang disebut dengan komunitas Solo Army. Hasil penelitian memberikan gambaran bahwa pendekatan kewarganegaraan yang diterapkan oleh masyarakat Tentara Solo mendekati komunitarian. Namun para K-Popers menunjukkan fanatisme tanpa mengurangi rasa nasionalismenya dengan menyukai BTS sebagai hiburan sedangkan nasionalisme adalah sebuah kewajiban. K-Popers Army Solo juga membentuk nasionalisme dengan mengadakan kegiatan sosial yang ditujukan kepada sesama manusia yang harus saling membantu dan menghormati tanpa membeda-bedakan. Oleh karena itu, penting untuk memiliki pendekatan sipil dan kesadaran nasionalis di kalangan K-Popers agar budaya Korean Wave tidak mudah mempengaruhi mereka.--------AbstractGlobalization has encouraged the entry of the Korean Wave into Indonesia, which challenges the awareness of nationalism and love for the nation's culture. K-pop has become a hallmark of the Korean Wave due to the significant competition between girl and boy bands, especially the boy band BTS. This research identifies and describes the importance of a civic approach and nationalist awareness among K-Popers. This study used ethnographic methods with survey data collection techniques, observation, documentation, and interviews with five female BTS fans in Solo, Central Java, called the Solo Army community. The results of the study illustrate that the civic approach adopted by the Solo Army community is close to communitarian. However, K-Popers show fanaticism without reducing their sense of nationalism by liking BTS as entertainment while nationalism is an obligation. K-Popers Army Solo also forms nationalism by holding social activities aimed at fellow humans who must help and respect each other without discriminating. Therefore, it is essential to have a civic approach and nationalist awareness among K-Popers so that Korean Wave culture does not easily influence them.

Abstract

The polemic regarding the Presidential Threshold policy has caused conflict in society and hampered Indonesia's political development. This study aims to prove the impact of the Presidential Threshold policy on the political identity of two groups of people who are often referred to as "cebong" and "kampret". The impact of this policy has led to polarization of netizens and heated and uncontrolled communication patterns on social media. This study uses the netnographic method with a critical discourse approach to determine the impact of the policy. The results showed that the Presidential Threshold policy had an impact on the inconsistency of political parties, there were only 2 pairs of candidates in the presidential election, injured small parties because of oligarchic efforts, many negative comments were hostile on social media and researchers found Presidential Threshold policies gave birth to a Political Identity "cebong- kampret, which can cause the Indonesian nation to experience segregation which creates conflict in society and of course triggers national disgrace on social media. With the existence of a Presidential Threshold policy, the government must consider the presentation of 20%, this can reduce the polarization that exists in society.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman ibu rumah tangga dan wanita karir di Desa Ngargoyoso, Kecamatan Ngargoyoso, Kabupaten Karanganyar, tentang pentingnya kesehatan mental. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi mitra adalah kurangnya pemahaman tentang gejala stres, depresi, dan kecemasan akibat peran ganda sebagai ibu rumah tangga dan pekerja. Kegiatan ini meliputi observasi awal, sosialisasi kesehatan mental pada 24 Agustus 2024 dengan narasumber Ibu Siti Nandiroh, S.T., M.Eng., diskusi interaktif, dan evaluasi melalui kuesioner yang diadaptasi dari DASS 42. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan peserta mengenai kesehatan mental serta kemampuan untuk mengenali faktor-faktor yang memengaruhinya. Program ini diharapkan menjadi langkah awal untuk memperkuat dukungan sosial dan menciptakan strategi keberlanjutan dalam menjaga kesejahteraan mental di komunitas lokal.

Abstract

Pendidikan di Indonesia masih mengalami berbagai masalah yang krusial diakibatkan merosotnya nilai-nilai karakter. Sehingga, untuk mencegah terjadinya dekadensi moral dibutuhkan karakter religius melalui pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan dan Budaya Sekolah Islam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi integrasi pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan dengan Budaya Sekolah Islam di dalam memperkuat karakter religius. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Surakarta dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif melalui kegiatan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data diperoleh melalui teknik triangulasi dan member check. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan dengan integrasi Budaya Sekolah Islam memengaruhi penguatan karakter religius bagi peserta didik. Pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan yang terdapat di dalam kelas maupun di luar kelas bervariasi dan tidak monoton. Guru mengkombinasikan penyampaian materi dikaitkan dengan ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an, sehingga mendorong internalisasi karakter religius dalam diri peserta didik. Studi ini merekomendasi penguatan nilai-nilai karakter dapat berhasil apabila terjalin kerja sama di antara pihak sekolah, guru, dan peserta didik.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to demonstrate that interest, digital skills, and the Campus Teaching Program can enhance the professional competence of prospective teachers, equipping them with essential skills for their future teaching careers. Methodology: This study employed a quantitative method with a correlational design. The sample consisted of 77 students who participated in the Campus Teaching Program, batches 6 and 7. Results: The results of the analysis show that interest, digital skills, and the Campus Teaching Program have a positive and significant correlation to the professional competence of prospective teachers. A strong interest in becoming a teacher leads to greater enthusiasm for deepening knowledge. Moreover, the Campus Teaching Program offers direct field experience, where prospective teachers are trained to thoroughly understand lesson content, engage positively with students, and apply innovative, technology-integrated teaching methods. Applications/Originality/Value: This study contributes to the literature on education, particularly in preparing prospective teachers to enhance their professional competence. Furthermore, future research can utilize this data to develop theories, findings, and hypotheses for subsequent investigations.

Abstract

Purpose: This study investigates how parenting styles, self‑control, and social media use influence the politeness of undergraduate students at Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. By identifying these relationships, the research aims to shed light on factors contributing to the observed decline in polite behavior among adolescents and inform interventions to promote respectful communication. Methodology: Adopting a quantitative correlational design, the study surveyed 370 S1 students across multiple faculties at Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS). Standardized questionnaires measured perceived parenting style (authoritative, authoritarian, permissive), individual self‑control levels, patterns of social media usage, and self‑reported politeness behaviors. Data were analyzed using multiple regression techniques to assess the strength and significance of each predictor’s effect on student politeness. Results: The analysis demonstrated that all three independent variables—parenting styles, self‑control, and social media use—exerted positive, statistically significant effects on students’ politeness (p < 0.05). Authoritative parenting and higher self‑control were particularly strong predictors, while balanced, purposeful social media engagement also correlated with more courteous online and offline interactions. Applications/Originality/Value: By empirically linking family dynamics, individual regulation skills, and digital habits to polite conduct, this study offers a comprehensive framework for educators, counselors, and policymakers aiming to foster respectful behavior. Its findings can guide parent‑education programs, campus‑based self‑control workshops, and digital‑literacy initiatives, while providing a theoretical foundation for future research on adolescent social etiquette in digital contexts.

Abstract

Purpose: This Research aims to determine the effect of interest on the responsible character of Marching Band UMS members, to determine the effect of students' personality traits on the responsibility of Marching Band UMS members, to determine the effect of organizational regulations on the responsibility of Marching Band UMS members, and to determine the join effect of interest, personality, and compliance with organizational regulations on the responsible Character at Marching Band UMS members. Methodology: This research uses quantitative research methods. The sample in this study was 105 people consisting of administrators and members of the UMS marching band. Results: The results of this research show that there is a significant influence between student interests, personality and compliance with organizational regulations on responsible character. UMS marching band members have implemented the character of responsibility well in daily training and in maintaining the equipment they use. Applications/Originality/Value: This research provides a contribution to future researchers and can be used as additional information regarding the character of a person's responsibility.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to examine the effect of self-control on student discipline within the context of Pancasila Education at SMAN 1 Karangnongko. Furthermore, it seeks to assess the influence of emotional intelligence and parenting styles on student discipline within the same educational environment. Methodology: This research employed a quantitative approach with a correlational research design. The sample consisted of 271 students from grades X and XI at SMAN 1 Karangnongko. Results: The results indicate that self-control, emotional intelligence, and parenting styles have a significant impact on student discipline in Pancasila Education at SMAN 1 Karangnongko. Applications/Originality/Value: This study contributes to the existing literature by elucidating the relationships among self-control, emotional intelligence, and parenting styles in relation to student discipline, providing a foundation for future research in this field.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan hal terpenting untuk mencapai tujuan nasional bangsa Indonesia yaitu mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa. Pada Masa pandemi mengharuskan pembelajaran dilaksanakan secara daring atau Belajar dari Rumah (BDR). Terdapat beberapa permasalahan BDR sehingga perlu dilakukan pendampingan untuk mengatasinya. Pendampingan BDR dilakukan dengan beberapa tahap yaitu: (1) Membimbing dan menjelaskan kepada siswa mengerjakan tugas yang diberikan oleh gurunya, (2) Menyapaikan materi kepada siswa secara ceramah, (3) Melaksanakan tanya jawab materi yang telah dipelajari. Pendampingan BDR memberikan hasil yang baik yaitu siswa memiliki minta dan antusias yang tinggi dalam pelaksanakan pendampingan belajar dan orang tua siswa juga merasa senang dan terbantu dengan adanya program pendampingan belajar karena dapat meringankan beban orangtau dalam mendam-pingi anaknya saat pembelajaran daring atau BDR.
