Abstract

Background: The activity of sorting waste is simple but requires awareness and commitment from the individual concerned. Scientific understanding in sorting is also needed to become a basis that can strengthen individual commitment and responsibility in handling waste. Public facilities whose sanitary conditions do not meet the requirements will be synonymous with slum and dirty conditions. Sanitation facilities and facilities that meet the requirements will certainly support the existence of healthy schools. Healthy schools are also one of the themes of community service that has been carried out by many community service teams in various educational institutions. Objective: This community service activity aims to find out efforts to improve soil environmental health, waste management, and find out the response to IT-based waste management in the school. Methods: Direct field surveys at school locations, conducting outreach, and demonstrations of IT-based tools are the methods used in our team's community service. Results: Soil quality at both school locations for pH and humidity parameters in the categories meets the requirements, indicating that there are no activities that have the potential to pollute the soil at these locations. Waste management efforts are already at the sorting and processing/composting stage which continues to be processed by partner 1. There is a positive response from both partners to the IT-based waste sorting tool. There was an increase in students' knowledge at both schools regarding waste sorting before and after the counseling. Abstract

In the digital era, communication through online platforms has undergone a significant transformation. This phenomenon gave birth to a new form of language called Netspeak, which reflects the way the younger generation communicates in cyber media. Netspeak is characterized by the simplification of language structures, the use of acronyms and abbreviations, and the replacement of words with symbols and numbers. In addition, the use of emojis and emoticons further enriches the variety of expressions used in online communication. This study aims to analyze and understand word formation process of Netspeak in cyber media. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach with a virtual ethnography method. Data collection was carried out through full observation, screenshots, and diary routines without conducting interviews. After the data was collected, the data was analyzed using the Boellstorff concept, namely 1) systematizing data, 2) creating data thematization, and 3) narrating and building arguments. The results of the study shown that the word formation process found in this study includes acronyms, blending, clipping, borrowing, special symbols, combinations of symbols with numbers, combinations of letters with numbers, use of letter symbols as representations, derivation, reduplication, use of Emoticons or Emojis, use of capital letters and abbreviations which reflect the adaptive behavior of language users towards the need for fast and efficient communication.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of the relevance of the value of accounting information which includes Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), Earning Per Share (EPS), and Non Public Ownership (KNP) in making investment decisions. The research method used is quantitative method with 15 companies in the agriculture industry sector as the sample. This research uses multiple linear regression techniques as hypothesis testing. The results of the research show that ROA, EPS and Non-Public Ownership are proven to have an effect on the fluctuation of stock prices, while ROE is proven to have no effect on stock prices. The implication of this research is the importance of looking at the size of the KNP and the relevant value of accounting information in the forms of ROA and EPS while still considering the risks associated with the value of ROE in the investment decision-making process

Abstract

Abstract

Compliance with laws and regulations is one of the obligations for MSMEs, but unfortunately this has not been fulfilled by MSME actors. On the other hand, taxes are the main part of government funding that is needed for sustainable development. The increase in income earned by MSME actors requires an increased understanding of taxes. The income earned by MSME actors will be taxed if it has reached the limit of provisions in accordance with applicable tax regulations. Therefore, it is deemed necessary for Indonesian migrant workers (PMI) as prospective MSME actors in general to obtain adequate knowledge related to tax aspects. This is so that there are no errors in calculations, payments and reporting in the aspect of taxation. With an in-depth knowledge of taxation for prospective MSME actors, it will help the state in optimizing tax revenue. Therefore, it is expected for prospective MSME actors to master aspects of taxation. Keywords: MSME, Tax, Indonesian migrant worker

Abstract

Frugal living, or a frugal lifestyle, embodies a concept that coincides with Islamic financial principles, emphasising equilibrium, sustainability, and the avoidance of excessive consumerism. The concept of frugal living has gained increasing relevance in modern economic discourse, particularly in response to financial instability, environmental concerns, and the need for responsible resource management. In the digital age, the payment system utilising the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) has gained prominence as a tool for facilitating more efficient and transparent financial transactions.  This study examines how the use of QRIS within the Islamic financial framework can enhance ethical consumption practices aligned with the tenets of frugal living.  This research, employing a qualitative methodology through literature analysis, determined that QRIS effectively diminishes cash utilisation, which may foster impulsive spending, enhances precise financial documentation, and reinforces Sharia financial principles such as justice, transparency, and sustainability.  This approach promotes more inclusive and efficient transactions, aligning with the maqashid shariah objectives of preserving individual and societal welfare.  This research suggests that the digitalisation of Islamic finance via QRIS can serve as a strategic tool for fostering more ethical and responsible consumer practices.
