Abstract

The problem in this research is that the athletes have not had a good physical condition. The low performance of athletes has decreased from year to year. The aim of the study was to see how the Physical Condition Level of Women's Volleyball Athletes at the BPC Tanah Datar Regency club. This type of research is quantitative using descriptive methods. The population in the study amounted to 16 people. The sampling technique used purposive sampling, thus the number of samples in the study were 12 female volleyball athletes at the BPC club Tanah Datar Regency. The data analysis technique is a percentage. Research result ; (1) The aerobic endurance in the category is sufficient with an average of 23.3 ml / kg.bb / m or about 41.67%, (2) the explosive power of the arm muscles in the less category with an average of 5.5 m or about 25%, (3) The explosive power of the leg muscles that is currently owned is in the low category with an average of 63 kg-m / second or about 33.33%, (4) the agility possessed is classified as in the medium category with an average of 9 seconds or about 25%, (5) The flexibility of the waist that is owned is classified in the less category with an average of 12.08 cm or about 33.33%, thus it can be concluded that the physical condition of women's volleyball athletes is good from indicators, power endurance, leg muscle explosive power, arm muscle explosive power, agility, and flexibility, are still in the low category and need to be improved to be higher.

Abstract

Masalah penelitian ini adalah masih rendahnya prestasi atlet beladiri tarung derajat kota sungai penuh. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimanakah kondisi fisik atlet Beladiri Tarung Derajat Kota Sungai Penuh.Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh atlet beladiri tarung derajat kota sungai penuh yang berjumlah 29 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, maka jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 17 orang atlet. Instrument dalam penelitian ini adalah: 1) kelincahan menggunakan agility t test, 2) kekuatan otot lengan menggunakan push up test, 3)kecepatan menggunakan lari sprint 30 meter, dan daya tahan menggunakan bleep test. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis statistic deskriptif persentatif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: 1) Tingkat kelincahan atlet beladiri tarung derajat kota sungai penuh berada pada kategori sedang. 2) Tingkat kekuatan otot lengan atlet beladiri tarung derajat kota sungai penuh berada pada kategori sedang. 3) Tingkat kecepatan atlet beladiri tarung derajat kota sungai penuh berada pada kategori kurang. 4) Tingkat dayatahan atlet beladiri tarung derajat kota sungai penuh berada pada kategori sedang.

Abstract

The problem of the research was student’s lack forehand drive ability that resulting  less points obtained while playing or hitting the ball.  This research aimed to  identify  factors that causally and positively effecting the student’s forehand drive  performance, namely back swing and forward swing phases.  This study involved 31 male student’s who learning tennis subject in Sport Science Faculty, Padang State University. The samples  tested using Broer-Miller-Tennis Test, and observed by judge. The data was analyzed by using Regression Analysis utilizing IBM SPSS software. To find out the causal factors which independently and dependently influence each variable, it is used the significance level <0.05  The results shos that Backswing had significant and positive effect on the accuracy of the forehand drive (p <0.05) . The significance level was p <0.05  or H0 was rejected. Furthermore, Forwardswing had significant and positive effect on the accuracy of the forehand drive (p <0.05) or H0 is rejected.   The results of the study show that there is a positive causal effect of backswing and forwardswing on athlete's forehand drive performance.

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu rendahnya hasil belajar keterampilan Pendidikan Jasmani Olahraga dan Kesehatan (PJOK) peserta didik SD Kartika 1-12 Padang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode pembelajaran dan kemampuan motorik terhadap hasil belajar PJOK SD Kartika 1-12 Padang. Metode penelitian ini adalah eksperimen rancangan factorial by level 2 x 2. Populasi adalah kelas IV, V, dan VI berjumlah 65 orang. Sampel sebanyak 48 orang berdasarkan pembagian kelompok 50% tingkat kemampuan motorik tinggi dan 50% kemampuan motorik rendah. Teknik pengumpulan data kemampuan motorik diukur dengan tes Scott Motor Ability dan untuk mengukur hasil belajar menggunakan tes keterampilan materi pembelajaran. Data dianalisis menggunakan ANAVA dua jalur pada taraf signifikansi α= 0,05. Selanjutnya, karena tidak ditemukan interaksi antara metode pembelajaran dan kemampuan motorik maka tidak dilakukan Uji Tukey. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan: (1) Secara keseluruhan tidak terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar metode pembelajaran PjBL dengan metode pembelajaran Penugasan, (2) Tidak terdapat interaski antara metode pembelajaran dengan kemampuan motorik terhadap hasil belajar pendidikan jasmani olahraga dan kesehatan, (3) Hasil belajar peserta didik perlakuan metode pembelajaran PjBL lebih baik dibandingkan dengan metode pembelajaran Penugasan pada kelompok kemampuan motorik tinggi, (4) Hasil belajar peserta didik perlakuan metode pembelajaran PjBL lebih baik dibandingkan dengan metode pembelajaran penugasan pada kelompok kemampuan motorik rendah.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the results of developing a sports biomechanics module based on literacy skills to improve conceptual understanding and determine how student responses affect student concept understanding. This module was developed using the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Before testing, the module must be validated. The results of the material expert validation obtained a score of 4, which was in the excellent category. The media expert validation obtained a score of 4, which was in the excellent category. Moreover, the results of language validation also obtained a score of 4, which means excellent. The results of trials conducted on 90 students showed a positive response where 60% of students stated that this product was good to use. The results of the product effectiveness test were carried out by looking at the effect of the response with the understanding of students' concepts using regression testing. The results of the simple linear regression test showed results of 54.1% on the coefficient of determination which indicated that there was an effect of student responses on understanding the concept. So that the use of this biomechanics module is effective for use in the learning process.

Abstract

Sports achievement is influenced by various factors such as; physical, technical, tactical and psychological factor. The purpose of this study is to see the relation of self-efficacy factors, achievement motivation, and its relation to self-confidence and its effect on sports performance. This research was conducted on 87 students. This is quantatif research and using path analysis method. The sample was taken by technique purposive random samplin and the sample was 45 people with certain considerations. The data of self-efficacy, achievement motivation, and self-confidence was taken by using valid and reliable quistionnaire, and the sport performance data taken from the performance (medal) are already gotten. For testing the structural effects of the model from this study, researchers used IBM SPSS software. The results show that self efficacy, achievement. motivation, and self-confidence have a significant influence on the athletes' sports performance inndividual sports both of directly and indirectly, or totally. The implications of the theory obtained reinforce that the variables tested have a direct impact toward athletes achievement of the Student Sport Training Center in West Sumatera Province. The limitation of this study is the instrument that needs to be developed more accurately and comprehensively to reveal psychological conditions.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh status gizi, kebugaran jasmani dan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar pendidikan jasmani olahraga dan kesehatan SD Negeri 3 Muaro Kabupaten sijunjung. Jenis penelitian adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan analisis jalur (Path Analysis). Populasi adalah seluruh peserta didik SD Negeri 3 Muaro Kabupaten Sijunjung kelas I dan VI semester 2 Tahun Ajaran 2022/2023 sebanyak 151 peserta didik. sampel adalah peserta didik yang berumur 10-12 tahun atau kelas lima (V) 29 orang, dan enam (VI) 26 orang dengan jumlah keseluruhan 55 orang. Teknik penarikan sampling adalah purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian status gizi menggunakan IMT, kesegaran jasmani menggunakan Tes Kesegaran Jasmani Indonesia (TKJI) untuk usia 10-12 tahun, motivasi belajar menggunakan angket dengan skala likert, hasil belajar  adalah dengan tes praktik atau tes kinerja (performance test). Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil: (1) Terdapat pengaruh langsung dan signifikan status gizi terhadap hasil belajar pada peserta didik di SD Negeri 3 Muaro Kabupaten Sijunjung. (2) Terdapat pengaruh langsung Kebugaran jasmani terhadap hasil belajar pada peserta didik. (3) Terdapat pengaruh langsung motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar pada peserta didik. (4) Terdapat pengaruh tidak langsung status gizi terhadap hasil belajar melalui motivasi belajar peserta didik. (5) Terdapat pengaruh tidak langsung Kebugaran jasmani terhadap hasil belajar melalui motivasi belajar peserta didik. (6) Terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara status gizi, Kebugaran jasmani dan motivasi belajar secara simultan terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. kesimpulan terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara status gizi, kebugaran jasmani dan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar pendidikan jasmani olahraga dan kesehatan. Effect of Nutritional Status, Physical Fitness, Learning Motivation on Learning Outcomes of PJOK SD AbstractThe purpose of the study was to determine the influence of nutritional status, physical fitness and learning motivation on the learning outcomes of physical education in sports and health of SD Negeri 3 Muaro, Sijunjung Regency. This type of research is quantitative with a path analysis approach (Path Analysis). The population is all students of SD Negeri 3 Muaro, Sijunjung Regency, class I and VI semester 2 of the 2022/2023 Academic Year as many as 151 students. the sample was learners aged 10-12 years or fifth grade (V) 29 people, and six (VI) 26 people with a total of 55 people. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. Nutritional status research instruments using BMI, physical freshness using the Indonesian Physical Freshness Test (TKJI) for ages 10-12 years, motivation to learn using questionnaires with a likert scale, learning outcomes are with practical tests or performance tests (performance tests). Data analysis techniques are carried out descriptively and inferentially. Results: (1) There is a direct and significant influence of nutritional status on learning outcomes in students at SD Negeri 3 Muaro, Sijunjung Regency. (2) There is a direct influence of physical fitness on learning outcomes in students. (3) There is a direct influence of learning motivation on learning outcomes in students. (4) There is an indirect influence of nutritional status on learning outcomes through student learning motivation. (5) There is an indirect influence of physical fitness on learning outcomes through student learning motivation. (6) There is a significant influence between nutritional status, physical fitness and simultaneous learning motivation on student learning outcomes. Conclusions there is a significant influence between nutritional status, physical fitness and learning motivation on learning outcomes of sports and health physical education.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the factors that influence tennis coaching including organizational management factors, athlete training, competition programs and training programs for related parties involved in solving the problem. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Bengkulu Tennis School Athlete Achievement Development Program using the CIPP evaluation model (Context, Input, Process, Product). The evaluation model used in this study is the CIPP model. The research subjects consisted of administrators, coaches, and athletes. Data collection techniques using the method of observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique in this research is descriptive quantitative and qualitative analysis. The results of this study are (1) Context Evaluation, getting a good rating, (2) Input Evaluation, get a good rating, (3) Process Evaluation gets a good rating, (4) Product Evaluation gets a good rating. In this case it is classified as a good criterion in the standard of success of a development. The conclusion from the research results of the Evaluation of the Bengkulu Tennis School Athlete Achievement Development Program is in the category both as a whole and in the aspects of Context, Input, Process, and Product.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berawal dari kenyataan bahwa masih rendahnya kecepatan gyaku tsuki atlet shorinji kempo, dari hasil pengamatan bertanding tendangan yang dilakukan karateka masih terkendala dikarenakan kecepatan gyaku tsuki atlet shorinji kempo masih lemah. Ini dibuktikan dengan hasil pertandingan gyaku tsuki yang dilakukan atlet putra Kempo Dojo Bungus Teluk Kabung Padang. Penelitian ini yang bertujuan untuk melihat hasil latihan menggunakan resistance band terhadap kecepatan gyaku tsuki atlet Shorinji Kempo Dojo Bungus Teluk Kabung Padang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh atlet Shorinji Kempo Dojo Bungus Teluk Kabung Padang yang berjumlah 36 orang yang terdiri dari 24 orang putra dan 12 orang putri. Penarikan sampel diambil dengan teknik proposive sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini 10 orang. Instrument penelitian menggunakan tes kecepatan pukulan gyaku tsuki. Teknik analisis data statistik menggunakan uji normalitas liliefors dan uji-t dengan taraf signifikan ɑ=0,05. Hasil penelitian ini adalah latihan shadow boxing menggunakan resistance band dapat meningkatkan kecepatan gyaku tsuki atlet Shorinji Kempo Dojo Bungus Teluk Kabung Padang.

Abstract

Fundamental karate movement techniques (Kihon) are taught to students. Karate's fundamental techniques consist of blocks, strikes, jabs, and kicks. Karate novices are required to master kihon, or fundamental techniques, from which further training is derived. The effect of rigid and repetitive training methods on students is one of boredom and saturation. A method employed to enhance students' proficiency in kihon is the utilization of visual media. The objective of this study is to compare the impact of video media and poster image learning in high-concentration and low-concentration groups on the Kihon ability of SMPN 23 Pekanbaru extracurricular karate students.The experimental methodology utilized in this investigation is a 2x2 factorial experimental design. The study's population comprises 60 pupils enrolled in extracurricular karate at SMPN 23 Pekanbaru. The sample consisted of 16 students, which were divided into two groups. The data were analyzed utilizing two-way ANOVA and the T-test. Conclusions of the investigation The impact of video media and poster images in the classroom on the kihon abilities of students varies, irrespective of their placement in the high-concentration or low-concentration group under instruction. Students' kihon abilities are not influenced by the utilization of video media and poster images to acquire knowledge, irrespective of their placement in the high-concentration or low-concentration group.The mean difference in learning outcomes between video media and poster images was notably greater in both the high-concentration and low-concentration groups when compared to learning via poster images.
