Abstract

This study analyzes the development and direction of research on cash waqf through digital platforms using bibliometric methods with descriptive qualitative approaches. Data obtained from the Scopus database, covering 771 publications up to October 2025, were processed using VOSviewer to map publication trends, collaboration networks, and research themes. The results show a significant increase in digital cash waqf research since 2015, with contributions from researchers from Indonesia and Malaysia dominating, confirming Southeast Asia as a hub for modern waqf studies. Thematic analysis identified four main focuses: governance, sharia regulation, financial technology innovation, trust and transparency, and socio-economic impact. The research evolution is divided into three phases, from conceptual studies to waqf integration and digitalization. Theoretically, this study strengthens the concept of Islamic social finance through digitalization, while practically providing policy recommendations and technological innovations such as blockchain and sharia fintech, opening new directions for future research on the integration of blockchain technology, artificial intelligence, and Islamic financial systems for sustainable cash waqf management.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of mentoring-based academic supervision in improving teacher competence at SMPN 2 Tebing, Karimun Regency, Riau Islands Province, Indonesia. The research employed a mixed-methods case study design. In the first phase, a quantitative survey involving 29 teachers was conducted using a four-point Likert-scale questionnaire covering lesson planning, classroom implementation, and learning evaluation. The results show a weighted mean score of 2.94, indicating that teacher competence is in the “Good” category, with the majority of responses at the competent level. However, disparities remain, as a small proportion of teachers demonstrate low performance. In the second phase, qualitative data obtained through written interviews, observations, and document analysis revealed that the effectiveness of supervision was influenced by a collaborative pre-observation dialogue, continuous mentoring, and constructive feedback. These factors reduced teacher anxiety, increased openness, and strengthened motivation for professional growth. The findings confirm that mentoring-based academic supervision contributes significantly to sustainable teacher competence development. Strengthening the instructional leadership role of school principals and institutionalizing mentoring-oriented supervision are therefore recommended to achieve higher levels of professional excellence

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of learning transformation from asynchronous to synchronous modes and its impact on learning effectiveness at SMP Negeri 7 Senayang. A mixed-method approach with an exploratory sequential design was employed, beginning with qualitative exploration followed by quantitative measurement to strengthen the findings. The novelty of this study lies in examining learning management in an archipelagic area with limited technological infrastructure and internet connectivity. The research subjects included the principal, teachers, and educational staff. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, questionnaires, and document analysis, then analyzed using data reduction, data display, descriptive statistical analysis, and source triangulation to ensure validity. Based on the 2024 School Quality Report, learning quality had declined due to the dominance of asynchronous instruction characterized by low interaction and student engagement. This condition prompted the school to implement a management strategy by shifting to synchronous learning. The findings indicate that synchronous learning significantly improved teacher–student interaction, active participation, engagement, and overall learning effectiveness, while also fostering instructional innovation. These results highlight that successful learning transformation depends not only on technology use but also on adaptive management strategies aligned with local conditions. The study underscores the importance of strengthening synchronous learning management to improve educational quality, particularly in remote and island regions
