Abstract

Mengkaji bagaimana model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT dalam mempengaruhi hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas IV SDN Manggarai 05 merupakan fokus dari penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasi eksperimen dengan bentuk nonequivalent control group design. Kelas IV di SDN Manggarai 05 dengan total 115 siswa menjadi lokasi dan populasi penelitian, di mana sampel penelitian dipilih menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Kelas IVB ditetapkan sebagai kelas eksperimen, sementara kelas IVD sebagai kelas kontrol. Pendekatan pengumpulan data mencakup wawancara, tes, dan dokumentasi. Analisis statistik digunakan sebagai metode analisis data, termasuk uji prasyarat seperti uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas, serta uji hipotesis. Analisis data menggunakan uji-t dengan bantuan SPSS versi 28. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahawa signifikansi pada uji hipotesis diperoleh melalui uji parametrik (Paired sample t-test) adalah 0,001 yaitu p < 0,05 yang berarti bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT berpengaruh signifikan dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas IV SDN Manggarai 05.

Abstract

Children's poetry is a literary problem that is widely studied and in demand, but elementary school students, are constrained in the problem of arranging poetic words, difficulty developing ideas, the impact of lack of guidance in the post-COVID-19 pandemic, or lack of attention in writing poetry. This problem is the background for the improvement of learning after the COVID-19 pandemic carried out by teachers in the form of real action learning to write acrostic poetry in developing creative thinking skills as a form of student-centered learning challenges. This study aims to describe the challenge of teachers to develop students' creative thinking skills in writing acrostic poetry in elementary school. This type of research is qualitative. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive study, with a phenomenological approach. The procedure of this research is an interview and literature study. The source of data in this study came from primary data and secondary data. The findings of this study are 1) School Profile; 2) creative thinking skills; 3) learning to write acrostic poetry; and 4) teacher challenges. The results showed that in the face of challenges in learning to write acrostic poetry in elementary school, teachers need to develop models, approaches, strategies, methods, and techniques of learning to write acrostic poetry centered on students so that the ability to write poetry students in the development of language and literature can continue to be accommodated optimally. This study concludes that learning to write acrostic poetry for students makes an effective and significant contribution to the development of students' creative thinking skills in writing poetry, this is a challenge for teachers in the implementation of concrete actions to improve the quality of student-centered learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using flipbook media in improving early reading skills in grade II elementary school students in Duren Sawit District. The research method used is quantitative method with experimental type, with Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The samples in this study were grade II B students (30 students) as the control group and grade II C students (30 students) as the experimental group at SDN Duren Sawit 13, East Jakarta. Sampling using Simple Random Sampling technique. Data collection used, namely test techniques to measure the beginning reading skills of grade II students. The data analysis technique to test the hypothesis using the Independent Sample t Test obtained a significance level of 0.044, where 0.044 <0.05. So it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. The result of this research hypothesis is that there is an effect of using flipbook media on the ability to read beginning grade II elementary schools in Duren Sawit sub-district. This is based on the average at the time of the pretest of 65.83 and the average at the time of the posttest of 80.67.

Abstract

The problems that occur in grade V elementary school students are related to their knowledge and understanding of the environment and their awareness of the importance of preserving the environment. This research is only focused on grade V elementary school students, and discusses the development of LiteraCraft-based modules as a solution in improving students' knowledge and understanding of the environment and increasing students' responsibility of environmental behavior. This research uses the R&D method with the ADDIE model which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Conducted at SDN 09 Sungai Nanam, this study collected data from interviews, tests, and questionnaires during the first semester of the 2023/2024 school year. The research results showed positive results. The expert assessment stated that the media, language, and material of the module were very good. The correctness of the material, feasibility of presentation, and technical quality are the highest aspects. Small group trials with 5 students showed the module was good and appropriate, with efficiency as the highest aspect. Field trials with 20 fifth grade students showed excellent results, with participation in environmental conservation as the highest aspect. The attitude test with 28 students showed the module was very appropriate, with respect for the earth as the highest aspect. T-test showed a significant difference in environmental responsibility behavior before and after using the module. The N-Gain test showed a 61.3% increase in students' environmental responsibility scores

Abstract

This research and development aims to produce a media product in the form of a PBL-based digital pocket book for Civics learning Theme 7 The Beauty of Diversity in My Country in grade IV of elementary school.  This study uses the ADDIE development method which has five stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation.  Product validation trials in this study involved three experts, namely material experts, linguists and media experts.  In addition to these three experts, this development involved fourth grade students and teachers at SDIT Cendekia Islamic School Bekasi in product validation trials.  The collection of information in this study was obtained based on the results of observations and interviews with teachers and fourth grade students and questionnaires.  The validation results of material experts were 77.8%, linguists 85.4%, and media experts 88.75%.  So as to obtain the overall results of expert test validation with an average of 83.98%.  The results of product trials on One To One were 81.3%, Small Groups were 86%, and Field Tests were 91.3%, as well as teacher validation results were 91%.  Thus, this shows that PBL-based digital pocket book media is feasible to be used as an additional learning media for fourth grade elementary school students.

Abstract

The implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in Indonesia has faced various challenges, particularly at the elementary school level. This study specifically aims to identify and describe the obstacles faced by teachers in designing learning plans and assessments that align with the Merdeka Curriculum. The research method used in this study is qualitative descriptive, involving two teachers from a public elementary school in Purwakarta Regency, West Java. Data was collected through semi-structured interviews and analysis of learning plan and assessment documents. The results showed that, in the context of learning planning, teachers have made efforts to understand the learning outcomes and design learning plans. However, there are several obstacles faced, such as the absence of learning outcomes for local content subjects, limited teacher understanding in the context of learning planning, and lack of time to complete teaching modules and learning goal pathways due to the demands of additional tasks. Meanwhile, in the context of assessment planning, teachers tend to rely on existing sources, both from teaching modules and textbooks. These findings indicate that although teachers have made efforts to design learning and assessment plans, there are still gaps in understanding and practice. This indicates the need for more intensive support for teachers in terms of capacity development, especially in designing learning plans and assessments that meet the needs of students.

Abstract

Penelitian tentang OCB dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru telah banyak dilakukan, namun masih ada kesenjangan dari hubungan antara ketiga variabel tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru di sekolah dasar dalam Gugus 5, Kecamatan Serpong. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantiatif, data dikumpulkan dan dianalisis untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian. Populasi sebanyak 443 guru, sampel terpilih sebanyak 82 dipilih menggunakan rumus Slovin dengan margin kesalahan 10 persen. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode random sampling dan proporsional sampling sehingga didapatkan sampel representatif, kemudian dianalisis dengan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa OCB secara positif dan signifikan memengaruhi kinerja guru, dengan nilai-t sebesar 4,034. Motivasi kerja memiliki efek positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru, tercermin dalam nilai-t sebesar 3,656. Temuan penelitian ini menjelaskan dampak OCB dan motivasi dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru. Dengan demikian secara umum dapat disimpulkan bahwa untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru dapat dilakukan dengan pembinaan OCB dan motivasi. Implikasi praktis adalah variabel OCB dan motivasi kerja dapat menjadi determinan prioritas dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the impact of implementing the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) model combined with Social Emotional Learning (SEL) on social skills, taking into account students' levels of self-confidence. The research employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method with a 2×2 treatment by level design. The sample consisted of 42 fourth-grade students from SD Islam Dwi Matra, South Jakarta, who were divided into two groups: an experimental group that received instruction using the SEL-based TSTS model, and a control group that was taught using the STAD approach. Data collection instruments included a performance assessment to measure social skills and a questionnaire to measure students' self-confidence. The results of the two-way ANOVA analysis indicated a significant difference in social skills between students taught using the SEL-modified TSTS model and those taught using STAD. Furthermore, there was a significant interaction between the learning model and students' self-confidence levels on their social skills. The follow-up Tukey test revealed that the SEL-modified TSTS approach was more effective for students with high self-confidence, while the STAD approach was more suitable for students with low self-confidence. These findings highlight the importance of aligning instructional models with students’ psychological characteristics to maximize the development of social skills at the elementary school level.

Abstract

Konsep Merdeka Belajar merupakan kebijakan baru dalam dunia pendidikan nasional. Kurikulum Merdeka hadir untuk menyempurnakan kurikulum 2013. salah satu model unggulan yang diterapkan pada kurikulum Merdeka adalah model Project Based Learning (PjBL). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyusun dan mendeskripsikan kajian mengenai penerapan model PjBL dalam kurikulum Merdeka di sekolah dasar beserta hambatan dan sousinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur yang dilakukan dengan cara mengumpulkan informasi dari buku dan 40 artikel yang berkaitan dengan Merdeka Belajar dan penerapan model Project Based Learning (PjBL) di sekolah dasar. Informasi yang ditemukan kemudian dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis isi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, prinsip model PjBL sejalan dengan prinsip Merdeka Belajar. Namun pada praktiknya, penerapan model PjBL masih mengalami hambatan. Hambatan tersebut adalah: manajemen waktu yang kurang baik; guru dan siswa belum memahami konsep PjBL; kurangnya motivasi guru dan siswa; dan fasilitas belum memadai. Pada bagian akhir artikel, peneliti menyajikan alternatif solusi yang dapat dipertimbangkan lebih lanjut oleh guru, sekolah dan perancang kurikulum guna mengatasi masalah yang terjadi selama pelaksanaan PjBL di sekolah dasar.
