Abstract

This research is motivated by the low ability of students to understand mathematical concepts when learning has been done online for almost a year at home, which is now back again face to face at school with less study time than usual. The purpose of this study was to find out how the students' mathematical concept understanding ability in the new normal era of class X science at Madrasah Aliyah Swasta (MAS) Lubuk Malako, South Solok Regency. The research method used is descriptive method using a quantitative approach. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a sample of 18 students. The instrument used to collect data was in the form of a student's mathematical concept understanding ability test and interviews. The test results were analyzed based on the assessment criteria of high, medium, low, and very low. The results showed that the ability to understand mathematical concepts of students in the new normal era of class X science was still relatively low with a percentage of 39%, namely indicators of restating concepts, presenting concepts in various representations, and relating various mathematical concepts internally or externally. While the criteria are high with a percentage of 17%, moderate with a percentage of 33%, and very low with a percentage of 11%. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa disaat belajar yang pernah dilakukan secara online hampir satu tahun di rumah yang sekarang kembali lagi tatap muka di sekolah dengan waktu belajar yag lebih sedikit dari biasanya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa di era new normal kelas X IPA di Madrasah Aliyah Swasta (MAS) Lubuk Malako Kabupaten Solok Selatan. Metode peelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan banyak sampel 18 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk megumpulkan data berupa tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dan wawancara. Hasil tes dianalisis berdasarkan kriteria penilaian yang tinggi, sedang, rendah, dan sangat rendah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa di era new normal kelas X IPA masih tergolong rendah dengan persentase 39% yaitu indikator menyatakan ulang konsep, menyajikan konsep dalam berbagai representasi, dan mengaitkan berbagai konsep matematika secara internal atau eksternal. Sedangkan kriteria tinggi dengan presentase 17%, sedang dengan presentase 33%, dan sangat rendah dengan presentase 11%.

Abstract

The development of IT in the 21st century has become the main complement in every learning activity such as using learning media. Learning media is a tool that can help the learning process so that learning objectives are conveyed. This study aims to produce interactive learning media using Sparkol Videoscribe on valid algebraic function limits. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) research with a four-D (4-D) development model. The subjects in this study were students of class XI IPS 1 SMAN 12 Padang. The data collection technique used a validation sheet. The results of this study are: Validity of interactive learning media using Sparkol Videoscribe which is designed to be very valid with the percentage results obtained 95.99% with a very valid category. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the validity of interactive learning media using Sparkol Videoscribe is valid and feasible to use on the material limit of algebraic functions for class XI IPS 1 SMAN 12 Padang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa kelas IX SMPN 1 Kecamatan Suliki. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajar Quantum Teaching terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas IX SMPN 1 Kecamatan Suliki. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapam model pembelajaran Quantum Teaching terhadap hasil belajar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan design penelitian adalah post-test only control grup. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IX SMPN 1 Kecamatan Suliki. Sampel yang digunakan adalah kelas IX-1 dengan teknik random sampling. Instrument penelitian adalah tes hasil belajar berbentuk essay. Berdasarkan teknik analisis dan uji t didapat t_hitung  = 2,07 dan t_tabel = 1,69 sehingga dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Quantum Teaching terhadap hasil belajar.

Abstract

Difficulty in learning mathematics is a disorder in students that can lead to a lack of student success in learning. Difficulties can be in the form of difficulties in understanding concepts, principles and problem solving. The purpose of this study was to determine the form of students' learning difficulties in mathematics. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The subjects in this study were selected by purposive sampling and as research subjects were students of class XI MIPA 3 SMA Negeri 2 Gunung Talang. The research instruments were tests and interviews. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman technique, namely, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that students had difficulty applying the concept to the inability indicator in inferring information from a given concept. Difficulty in applying principles to indicators relating concepts between materials, difficulties in using formulas and difficulties in mastering algorithms. Difficulty in solving problems, on indicators of students' inability to perform calculations.

Abstract

Active learning refers to learning process that encourages students to be more active in maximizing their mind, finding the key ideas of the teaching materials, solving problems and applying what have been learned into existing problems in real life. In other words, the learning activities will be more dominated by students. The aim of this approach is to increase students’ involvement and activities in learning process. Abstract

Keterbatasan bahan ajar membuat siswa tidak mengikuti pembelajaran dengan serius. Hal ini terjadi di SMAN 16 Padang, bahan ajar yang digunakan berupa LKPD dan buku cetak yang tidak semua siswa memilikinya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan plomp. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa lembar wawancara, daftar checlist dan angket validasi. Berdasarkan hasil validasi E-Modul berbasis problem based learning diperoleh nilai akhir yaitu 89,48% dengan kategori sangat valid. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa E-Modul berbasis problem based learning materi ukuran penempatan dan ukuran keragaman data dinyatakan valid.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine how mathematical reasoning abilities correlate with learning interest among 10th-grade vocational school students. This study employs a quantitative descriptive research design with a focus on 19 students from the 10th-grade TKRO 1 class at SMK Negeri 5 Padang. Data collection instruments include questionnaires, tests, and interviews. The data processing technique involves analyzing test results based on indicators of mathematical reasoning abilities in relation to the results of the learning interest questionnaire. The research findings indicate that the mathematical reasoning abilities of 10th-grade TKRO 1 students at SMK Negeri 5 Padang, when viewed in conjunction with learning interest, exhibit both high and moderate levels of interest. For high learning interest, the corresponding mathematical reasoning abilities are as follows: high (76.59%), moderate (64.29%), and low (44.44%). In the case of moderate learning interest, the corresponding mathematical reasoning abilities are high (76.98%) and moderate (66.67%).

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis dan kepercayaan diri siswa. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII.1 SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Padang. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis ditinjau dari kepercayaan diri siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling sebanyak 20 orang siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode tes, angket dan wawancara. Adapun analisis data pemahaman konsep matematis ditinjau dari kepercayaan diri siswa dianalisis berdasarkan indikator pemahaman konsep. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu siswa yang memiliki kepercayaan diri sangat baik dengan pemahaman konsep tinggi, sedang dan rendah secara umum berada pada kategori sedang yaitu sebanyak 2 orang siswa. Siswa yang memiliki kepercayaan diri baik dengan pemahaman konsep tinggi, sedang dan rendah secara umum berada pada kategori sedang yaitu sebanyak 7 orang siswa. Siswa yang memiliki kepercayaan diri cukup dengan pemahaman konsep tinggi, sedang dan rendah secara umum berada pada kategori yang sama yaitu sebanyak 1 orang siswa.

Abstract

Limitations of officers in analyzing data in district offices. Most of these problems are caused by the lack of knowledge and expertise of the apparatus and the limited number of computers. The data in the district office is not stored properly, and there is no data management and technology-assisted data presentation. Implementation method by providing training and mentoring. The training provided is in the form of basic skills in using SPSS in presenting district population data. Its activities are training and assistance in presenting and processing data using the SPSS program in the Bungo Pasang District. The implementation of the service conducted interviews and provided questionnaires to find out the extent of the training participants' understanding of the use of SPSS software. The service team explained the presentation of the data accurately and concisely. District employees are helped in understanding and processing data using this SPSS software. District officers find it helpful in their work with the applications taught.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan peneltian pengembangan yang menghasilkan media pembelajaran berupa E-Modul berbasis problem based learning materi penyajian data dan ukuran pemusatan data. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development (R&D) menggunakan model pengembangan plomp. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua tahap yaitu: preliminary researh dan protoyping phase. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa Fase E atau kelas X yang telah mempelajari materi tentang penyajian data dan ukuran pemusatan data. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah pedoman wawancara dan lembar angket validasi. Berdasarkan penilaian validator E-Modul berbasis problem based learning diperoleh nilai validasi sebesar 89,95% dengan kategori sangat valid.
