Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mendeksripsikan gaya bahasa perbandingan dalam kumpulan cerpen Arum Manis Karya Teguh Affandi. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah prosedur analisis isi. Analisis isi dalam penelitian ini bersifat pembahasan mendalam terhadap isi suatu informasi tertulis dalam karya tulis dan dapat menggambarkan karakteristik isi dari suatu pesan. Kumpulan cerpen Arum Manis ini terdapat 22 judul dan 4 judul yang diteliti. “Aroma Dapur Tetangga”, “Aroma Kenanga”, “Perut Kueni” dan “Naga Dalam Mulut Kartika”. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa telah ditemukan sejumlah 54 gaya bahasa perbandingan dalam keempat judul cerpen Arum Manis. Gaya bahasa perbandingan perumpamaan sebanyak 9, metafora 3, personifikasi 32, Depersonifikasi 4, pleonasme 1 dan hiperbola 5. Gaya bahasa perbandingan yang paling banyak adalah personifikasi. Pengarang ingin bercerita secara menyindir agar pesan tersampaikan melalui penggambaran menarik ketika benda seolah-olah hidup secara sederhana unik dengan metafora flaura, fauna tetapi tidak berlebihan.Kata kunci: Gaya Bahasa Perbandingan, Kumpulan Cerpen Arum Manis

Abstract

Identity politics and social polarization are growing challenges in Indonesian society, including at the village level. These phenomena can lead to social fragmentation and hinder community development. This Community Service Program (PkM) aims to socialize Islamic values as a solution to prevent identity politics and social polarization in Cipancuh Village, Gantar District, Indramayu. The method used in this activity is a participatory approach with a community-based counseling model through lectures, group discussions, and educational media. The results indicate an increased understanding among community members regarding the dangers of identity politics and the importance of unity in Islam. Participants have also begun adopting the values of brotherhood (ukhuwah), justice, and tolerance in their social lives. This activity recommends follow-up programs involving village governments, educational institutions, and religious leaders to strengthen religious moderation and build a harmonious and inclusive society.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis efektivitas Undang-undang Nomor 23 tahun 2011 tentang pengelolaan dan pemberdayaan zakat untuk mengurangi kemiskinan. Zakat adalah "maaliyah ijtima'iyah" agama, ibadah yang terkait dengan properti, yang memiliki posisi yang sangat penting untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat, jika dikelola dengan baik, dapat dipercaya, transparan Islamiyah yang sesuai dengan Syariah, baik pengumpulan dan distribusi. Diduga zakat tidak optimal karena pemerintah tidak memiliki kebijakan khusus untuk menjadikan zakat sebagai sumber penerimaan negara. Namun, jika amal telah menunjukkan fungsi yang luar biasa sebagai alat kemiskinan dan kesejahteraan rakyat, pemerintah dapat mulai melihat amal sebagai instrumen utama dalam perekonomian negara. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian empiris yuridis. UU No. 13 tahun 2011 tentang pengelolaan dan distribusi zakat sampai saat ini tidak cocok untuk mengurangi kemiskinan. Karena hingga kini hanya profesi zakat yang dipertahankan dan hanya beberapa Unit Pemerintah Daerah saja di Jawa Tengah. Kemiskinan tidak hanya disebabkan oleh faktor alam saja, tetapi juga faktor pembangunan yang adil mempengaruhi masalah ini. Salah satu solusinya adalah memberdayakan amal berbasis komunitas. Dampaknya, mengentaskan kemiskinan berarti mengurangi penyebabnya, baik individu atau kelompok dalam masyarakat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengklasifikasikan kondisi cuaca seperti Berawan, Cerah, dan Terbit, menggunakan citra digital dengan pendekatan otomatis berbasis Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). Arsitektur VGG-16 dipilih karena kemampuannya dalam mengekstraksi fitur detail melalui lapisan konvolusional bertingkat. Dataset yang digunakan berisi 910 citra, dibagi menjadi tiga kategori, dan diolah menggunakan VGG-16 untuk menghasilkan vektor fitur berdimensi 4096. Klasifikasi dilakukan dengan jaringan saraf tiruan yang memiliki tiga lapisan tersembunyi, dan evaluasi model menggunakan metode 10-fold cross-validation. Metrik yang digunakan untuk menilai kinerja model adalah akurasi, presisi, dan recall. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa VGG-16 mampu mengklasifikasikan citra dengan akurasi sebesar 96,48%, dengan performa terbaik pada kelas Berawan, Cerah, dan Terbit, yaitu masing-masing 96%, 95,5%, dan 97,2%. Meskipun model menunjukkan akurasi tinggi, tantangan masih ada dalam membedakan citra dengan fitur visual yang serupa, seperti intensitas cahaya dan formasi awan. Kesimpulannya, VGG-16 efektif dalam klasifikasi kondisi cuaca berbasis citra digital, namun memerlukan pengembangan lebih lanjut untuk mengatasi kesalahan klasifikasi akibat kemiripan visual antara kategori cuaca

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of using Google Earth as an interactive medium in geography education, particularly on the topic of the location and physical features of the Earth’s surface. The research was conducted using the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method in two cycles, involving 36 students from class X.E at SMA Negeri 3 Cilacap. Each cycle included learning activities that integrated exploration of Google Earth features to enhance students’ spatial understanding. The results indicated a significant improvement in students’ learning outcomes, with the average score increasing from 64.38 in the pre-cycle to 78.28 in Cycle I, and further rising to 87.39 in Cycle II. Additionally, the percentage of students who met the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM) increased from 75% to 94.44%. The use of Google Earth was proven to not only enhance spatial visualization but also to increase student engagement and learning interest. This study confirms that digital geospatial media can serve as an effective learning tool to improve students’ conceptual understanding and spatial thinking skills, while also providing empirical contributions in the context of geography education in developing countries.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of knowledge about halal products, religiosity, and halal labels on purchasing decisions, with purchase intention as a mediating variable. The research focuses on Muslim consumers from Generation Z and involves 450 respondents. A descriptive quantitative approach was employed, with data analysis processed using Smart PLS. The findings indicate that knowledge of halal products and religiosity have a positive and significant impact on purchase intention, while the halal label has no effect. Purchase intention was found to have a positive and significant impact on purchasing decisions, whereas knowledge of halal products and religiosity do not have a direct influence. Conversely, the halal label has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. Additionally, purchase intention mediates the relationship between knowledge of halal products and religiosity on purchasing decisions but does not mediate the relationship between the halal label and purchasing decisions. These findings provide insights for producers to enhance the appeal of halal products among Muslim Generation Z consumers.

Abstract

This study aims to comprehensively examine the various foundations underlying the development of the Islamic education curriculum. In Islamic education, the curriculum functions not only as a learning guide but also as a medium for holistically transmitting Islamic values. Amid the challenges of globalization, technological advancements, and socio-cultural changes, the Islamic education curriculum is required to remain relevant without neglecting the fundamental principles of Islamic teachings. Therefore, a deep understanding of theological, philosophical, psychological, sociological, cultural, and scientific-technology foundations is essential. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach through literature analysis to explore the interrelationships among these foundations. The findings indicate that an integrative approach to curriculum development can produce Muslim generations who are not only knowledgeable but also possess Islamic character and adaptability to contemporary changes. Thus, the curriculum serves as a strategic instrument in realizing the holistic objectives of Islamic education.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to strengthen the entrepreneurial spirit of the students (santri) at the Hidayah Tahfidz Orphanage through a dimsum making training program. The activity was carried out using a hands-on method, in which the participants practiced making dim sum under the guidance of the community service team. The ingredients, equipment, and step-by-step instructions were provided by the team. The final outcome of this activity was the successful preparation of cooked dim sum, which was then evaluated by the community service team. Based on the evaluation, Group 1 received a final score of 88.33, Group 2 scored 78.33, Group 3 scored 80, and Group 4 scored 78.33. Furthermore, regarding the results of the dim sum knowledge test, the overall final score of the students at the Hidayah Tahfidz Orphanage was 73.5, which falls into the 'fairly good' category. Therefore, it can be concluded that the students at the Hidayah Tahfidz Orphanage are reasonably capable of making dim sum based on the knowledge they have acquired.

Abstract

Student learning interest plays a crucial role in educational success, as it directly influences engagement, comprehension, and academic achievement. This study aims to analyze the influence of pedagogical strategies on students’ learning interest using a machine learning approach with the Random Forest algorithm. Eight aspects of teaching strategies were examined as predictor variables, while learning interest was measured through two main indicators: interest in real-world application of the material and motivation for self-directed learning. Data were collected from 100 students via a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using Orange Data Mining. The model was validated through 10-fold cross-validation and evaluated using accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score, and AUC. The results indicate strong model performance, with 95% accuracy, 96.7% precision, 97.8% recall, and a 97.2% F1-score. Feature importance analysis identified practical activities (P4), an inclusive learning environment (P6), and the use of technology (P3) as the most influential predictors of learning interest. In contrast, variables such as P1, P2, and P8 showed minimal contribution. These findings demonstrate that Random Forest is not only effective for classification tasks but also valuable in identifying key factors for improving pedagogical strategies. The results are expected to inform the development of more adaptive, interactive, and student-centered learning environments.

Abstract

Analysing the textbook is necessary to ensure its alignment with the goals that are promoted by the curriculum. This study aims to evaluate the alignment of the exercises in the Grow with English textbook for sixth-grade elementary school with the Merdeka Curriculum, focusing on Listening and Speaking elements in learning outcomes of Phase C (grades V and VI).  Employing a content analysis, the textbook was analysed based on a checklist rubric adapted from Akhmad et al. (2022). The research examines the textbook’s content relevance, language skills coverage, cultural appropriateness, visual design, grammar and vocabulary, and methodological approaches. Findings reveal the textbook partially fulfils the Merdeka Curriculum expectations but would benefit from enhanced intercultural integration, increased authenticity in tasks, and greater emphasis on project-based and autonomous learning to foster communicative competence and character development in learners. This research contributes to textbook evaluation and supports the improvement of English language instruction in primary education.
