Abstract

Research objectives is to know the nature of allometri growth and an index the condition of Geloina coaxans that is in KKMB Tarakan city.Methods used is descriptive quantitative.  The research uses a method of the determination of purposive the sampling method.  The sample collection as many as 12 a plot in the area of the expansion of KKMB Tarakan city.  A plot measuring 10 x 10 m and the distance each a plot as far as 10 m.The results of research the regression equation is between long the shell of a to the weight of the y = 2.4418x-4.0447 is growth allometri negative.  The relationship between high the shell of a to the weight of the y = 2.1467x-3.3947 is growth allometri negative.  The regression equation is of the relation between the shell of a thick to the weight of the y = 2.0258x- 2.7291 is growth allometri negative.  The form of a thin body as much as 54.11%, the form of the body of 39.24% proportional, the form of a plump body as much as 6.65%.

Abstract

Siganus javus is one type of fish that has a lot of potential that is still not fully utilized where these fish contain protein which is high at around 69.2% (weight of wet) and 18.5% (weight of dry). The research objective is to analyze biotechnical of condition index of Siganus javus. Methods of research using descriptive method. The scope of this study is the variable of condition index of Siganus javus. Data collection techniques using survey. Techniques of sampling Siganus javus using sampling with purposive sampling method. Capture as much as 12 times the sampling, each taking a maximum of 10 fish due to sampling of endemik is taking place so rarely found. The results percentage of the value of the model index condition Siganus javus for male sex is body shape of flattenedobtained by 47.46%, body shape of ideal/proportion of 5.08%, body fat of 47.46%, and than while the female sex of condition index percentage obtained flattened body shape amounting to 60.98%, proportional body shape by 2.44%, the body fat of 31.71% and body shape are very fat at 4.88%.Keywords : condition index, Siganus javus, Juata Waters of Tarakan

Abstract

Research objectives is to know abundance of offerings shared with percent of the population T.telescopium  in a habitat of those mangrove KKMB the city of Tarakan.  The research uses a method of descriptive method.  The sample collection be paid out starting on different stations in the regions KKMB and stations 2 in the expansion of KKMB.  Each station also carried out 6 plot with the size of 10x10 meters with the methods purposive the sampling method.  The sample collection t.telescopium performed on recede lowest and extraction of secondary data of a variable pH, salinitas and at such a temperature (in-situ) and analysis of a sample of sediment.  The results of the study abundance T.telescopium is highest in the expansion of the average value of station KKMB 0,102 ind/m2 and on the average value of station KKMB 0,088 ind/m2. Based on analysis substratum research the ground in two stations of different there are different substratum dominant the dust was 48% in KKMB and types of the substrate at the station KKMB down the dust was 51 %.  Based on the results of the analysis that pH and the temperature at two stations of different having the value of the average the same situation namely that 7-8 and 27-28oC.The measurement result salinitas in both station average range 28ppt – 30ppt.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that is famous archipelago and the maritime countries which have a sea-based maritime wider than the mainland. Tarakan Island is a tropical region surrounded by the ocean with a very large sea of potential, especially marine resources. The purpose of this study is comparation the low-economical of fish (Johnius Spp and Ilisha elongata) and high-economical of fish (Siganus javus and Caesio cunning) by analyzing the proteins using the weight of wet and dry weight. The method used in this research using descriptive research method. Laboratory analysis using Kjehdahl. The results of fish wet weight test low-lives of fish Ilisha elongata (33.07%) and fish Johnius Spp (16.59%) while the high-economic fish species namely fish Caesio cunning (30.86%) and fish Siganus javus (18.53%). Test dry weight of the fish lives of low-species Ilisha elongata (77.46%) and fish species Johnius Spp (72,73%), whereas the high-economical of fish from fish species Caesio cunning (77.12%) and from fish species Siganus javus (69.19%). Keywords: Comparation, The low and high-economical of fish, Analysis of Protein

Abstract

Fish of nomei (Harpadon nehereus) which one of characteristic of Tarakan City because this fish is only found in the waters Juata of Tarakan City. Fish of Nomei has become one of the favorite food for the predators albino dolphin. In the event of the harvest is much, so in the waters around Tarakan City will be filled with a bunch of types of dolphins. This study aims to determine fecundity (number of eggs) in a spawning of fish nomei (Harpadon nehereus) in Tarakan, to determine the level of maturity of the gonads of fish nomei (Harpadon nehereus) in scale of the sex ratio, and to termine the gonads maturity index of fish nomei (Harpadon nehereus) in scale of the sex ratio. Number of samples were observed 479 males and 241 females fish of Nomei (Harpadon nehereus) taken 4 times in two months at 4 stations. Results of this study show from March-May 2013 fish of nomei male and female are still in the early reproductive period, estimated male and female fish nomei no one has done spawning ( TKG V ). Fecundity values seen in gonad maturity level four (TKG IV) in the range of the number of eggs get SD = 8171 + 4279 eggs (average of 8,167 eggs of fish nomei). In the gonads Maturity Index (IKG) fish species nomei male greatest gonad maturity index four (IKG IV), gonad maturity index of the smallest in the gonad maturity index (IKG I). Meanwhile, the gonads Maturity Index Index (IKG) Fish nomei greatest females in the fourth gonad maturity index (IKG IV), gonad maturity index of the smallest in the gonad maturity index ( IKG II). Keywords : IKG , TKG , fecundity , fish of nomei , Harpadon nehereus

Abstract

Kerang Kapah memiliki potensi yang cukup tinggi. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan tingginya tingkat eksploitasi kerang kapah serta komersialisasi kerang kapah hingga keluar daerah. Hal ini dapat berdampak terhadap kelestarian habitat dari kerang kapah. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah Untuk mengetahui morfometri dari kerang kapah (meretrix lyrata). dan untuk mengetahui habitat dari kerang kepah (meretrix lyrata) dilihat dari segi kualitas perairan (fisik dan kimia). Metode penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif. Pengambilan sampel kerang kapah menggunakan cara sampling daerah dengan metode purposive sampling dengan pengambilan di tiga stasiun yaitu pantai Amal Lama, pantai Binalatung dan Pantai Amal Baru. Variabel penunjang yang diukur adalah kondisi habitat / lingkungan dari kerang kapah (suhu, salinitas, derajat keasaman, oksigen terlarut, kedalaman kerang kapah). Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan di 3 stasiun pantai amal lama Kota Tarakan, untuk hubungan antara panjang cangkang dan berat kering daging kerang kapah rata-rata bersifat allometri positif, untuk hubungan antara tinggi cangkang dan berat kering daging kerang kapah rata-rata bersifat allometri positif sedangkan untuk hubungan antara tebal cangkang dan berat kering daging kerang kapah rata-rata bersifat allometri positif   Kata kunci : Kerang kapah (Meretrix lyrata) ; Morfometri ; Allometri ; Pantai di Kota Tarakan

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis rasio kelamin dan laju mortalitas dari Siganus javus. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif. Ruang lingkup penelitian ini yaitu variabel rasio kelamin dan laju mortalitas dari Siganus javus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan desain penelitian survei dan skala laboratorium. Teknik pengambilan sampel Siganus javus menggunakan cara sampling dengan metode purposive sampling.Hasil penelitian didapatkan rasio kelamin Siganus javus berkelamin jantan sebesar 65,56% dan Siganus javus berkelamin betina sebesar 34,44%.  Laju mortalitas Siganus javus berjenis jantan didapatkan 2,043% per-tigabulan. Sedangkan laju mortalitas Siganus javus berjenis betina didapatkan 4,781% per-tigabulan. Kata kunci : Siganus javus, Rasio Kelamin, Laju Mortalitas, Tarakan

Abstract

The research method uses descriptive method. The main variables to be measured in this study are variable length relationship in total and the total weight, variable carapace length and weight of the meat, the correlation length variable weight, condition index variable. Secondary variables of physical and chemical parameters will be measured in this study were pH, DO, temperature, salinity and brightness. Data collection techniques using survey research design. The sampling technique shrimp H.raphidea use way of "sampling". Raphidea Harpiosquilla shrimp sampling using purposive sampling method. Sampling was performed 12 times in three months as many as 343 samples (213 males and 130 females) are expected to represent the population of shrimp in the waters Juata Harpiosquilla raphidea Tarakan City. Environmental aspects Harpiosquilla raphidea for shrimp in the waters of the Tarakan city juata analysis such as pH, DO, salinity, temperature, and brightness. Results of research on the growth model allometri based (relations total length and total weight) and (relationship carapace length and weight of meat) of shrimp H.raphidea gender Male and Female allometri found to have growth is negative with the value of b <3. Results The percentage of the value of research data processing conditions index, By (Relationship Length and Weight Total Total) of H.raphidea Male and Female-dominated form of body fat. Based (carapace length and weight relationship Meat) H.raphidea maledominated form of body fat and lean body shape female dominated. Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the presence and concentration in waters and sediments, especially accumulation at bivalves Anadara Granosa (Linnaeus, 1758), and Anadara inaequivalvis (Brugiere, 1789) in waters of Tarakan City. From analysis of heavy metals in water was detected (concentration on ppm) are Cd 0,067, Cu 0,013, Fe 0,028 and Ni 0,015.  Heavy metals detected in sediment are Cd 0,099, Pb 0,126, Cu 0,689, Fe 0,463, Mn 0,169, and Ni 0,110. Heavy metals were detected in bodies at small weight Anadara Granosa is Cd 0,043, Cu 0,011, Fe 0,224 and Mn 0,017.  From Average Weight is Cd 0,064, Cu 0,012, Fe 0,224, Mn 0,017 and Ni 0,096 and high weight are Cd 0,072, Cu 0,026, Fe 0,285, Mn 0,102 and Ni 0,254.  Heavy metals were detected in bodies Anadara inaequivalvis at small weight is Cd 0,081, Cu 0,028, Fe 0,253, Mn 0,012 and Ni 0,011. In average weight is Cd 0,089, Cu 0,075, Fe 0,254, Mn 0,030 and Ni 0,014 and the large weight is Cd 0,097, Cu 0,102, Fe 0,254, Mn 0,033 and Ni 0,018. Abstract

Type shrimp fishermen in Tarakan in category Discard the shrimp Nenek (Harpiosquilla raphidea).  Results of interviews with fishermen Juata Tarakan city, saying that this type of shrimp is a type of shrimp discard or catches that do not have a high economic value and if this shrimp caught by the fishermen of this type in the return to nature/ocean.  This is different the opinion from Firdaus and Salim (2013) that the results of the study to test proteins from different species of shrimp nenek (Harpiosquilla raphidea) protein values obtained meat for shrimp nenek (Harpiosquilla raphidea) that is equal to 16.49%.  The purpose of research is to investigate the growth of morphometry Harpiosquilla Raphidea (correlation relationship between body weight and carapace with correlation relationship between body length and body weight).Methods of research used descriptive method.  Shrimp Nenek sampling using sampling in the waters juata based on catches of fishermen juata Tarakan city.  Sampling was conducted using purposive sampling as much as 6 times with the consideration that the sampling 6 times expected to represent the population of shrimp Nenek in the waters Juata Tarakan City.  Sampling was carried out during low tide situation.  The main variables measured in this study is the morphology shrimp Nenek is carapace (carapace and long thick carapas), shrimp body length (total length and standard length) and the shrimp body weight (total weight and dry weight / meat). The variables measured were supporting habitat conditions / environment of shrimp Nenek in the waters Juata Tarakan city.  Data analysis using regression equation is the relationship between the length (body length and carapace length) with body weight (total weight and meat weight) shrimp Nenek.The results showed an average of the data research on the relationship between total length with a total weight of shrimp Nenek allometri had negative growth and a very strong relationship. The results showed an average of research data on the relationship of carapace length with a weight meat of shrimp Nenek had allometri negative growth and a very strong relationship.
