Keluarga merupakan lembaga pertama dan utama yang berperan penting dalam menamkan pendidikan nilai dan pembentukan karakter dari setiap anggota keluarga. Keluarga sebagai unit pergaulan hidup terkecil dalam masyarakat, dan berperan sebagai pelindung bagi pribadi-pribadi yang menjadi anggota.Kondisi nilai dalam keluarga pada masa ini sangat minim, hal tersebut terbukti dari banyaknya kasus yang terjadi di dalam keluarga seperti kekerasa, asusila, korupsi, dan sebagainya. Solusi pendidikan dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan sosial tidak hanya melalui lembaga formal, informal, non formal. Terutama lembaga keluarga, yaitu dengan melalui pendidikan nilai di lingkungan keluarga. Dalam pandangan sosiologi, penanaman nilai moral dalam keluarga, tidak hanya dilakukan dengan cara indoktrinasi, tetapi dengan cara memberikan semua penjelasan kepada anak mengapa aturan-aturan tersebut dipatuhi. Tahapan proses pendidikan nilai meliputi: Identification Process, Internalization Process, Proses Pemodelan, Direct Reproduction. Saran Agar degradasi moral dapat dimilimalisir, sebagiknya didakan suatu program yang mampu menginternalisasikan pentingnya pendidikan nilai di dalam keluarga kepada seluruh keluarga di Indonesia, serta dibentuknya aturan pidana yang lebih ketat kepada pelaku tindakan penyimpangan berat dalam lingkungan keluarga

The presence of online taxis in the city of Padang is a source of new livelihood for the community. Hundreds of people from various backgrounds registered as Go-Car and GrabCar partners. In the beginning everything went smoothly. Problems began to emerge when the company raised the standard points and lowered the daily bonus amount. Partners who feel incompatible with these changes choose to resign while others are forced to survive in two ways, improve service or choose cheating in order to keep getting bonuses in the midst of difficulty reaching points. This study aims to describe the interpersonal communication activities between online taxi drivers and passengers and analyze communication efforts by the driver in providing services to passengers. This type of descriptive qualitative research with constructivist paradigms and phenomenological approaches. Informants are several active Go-Car and Grab-Car drivers in Padang City who have been operating for at least one year and randomly selected passengers. Data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews, involved observation and documentation. Data were analyzed based on phenomenological analysis by Edmund Husserl. Data validation uses data triangulation. The results showed that interpersonal communication activities can be seen from five positive attitudes namely openness, empathy, supportiveness, positive attitude and equality. The success of interpersonal communication can be seen through three indicators, success from the point of communicator, communicant and message.

Arus perkembangan teknologi yang signifikan dari masa ke masa menghasilkan sejumlah perubahan dalam kehidupan umat manusia, salah satunya berbentuk disrupsi teknologi. Disrupsi teknologi terjadi bahkan pada unit sosial terkecil bernama keluarga, khususnya di keluarga yang memiliki anak generasi digital native. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pola komunikasi keluarga yang terjadi dalam menghadapi disrupsi teknologi pada generasi digital natives melalui pendekatan studi kasus pada 3 keluarga tokoh agama Islam di Kota Solok. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menghasilkan ditemukannya dua jenis tipe keluarga sesuai dengan teori Revised Family Communication Pattern Theory (RFCPT) yang dikemukakan oleh Kroener dan Fitzpatrick, yakni keluarga dengan tipe komunikasi consensual dan keluarga dengan tipe komunikasi protective.

Vaksinasi yang rendah merupakan hambatan penanggulangan Covid-19 yang diakibatkan terselipnya kecemasan, keraguan, bahkan ketakutan di hati masyarakat berkenaan dengan vaksin COVID-19. Padahal, injeksi vaksin COVID-19 mengandung berbagai manfaat, yaitu menaikkan kekebalan terhadap virus COVID-19 serta menghentikan mutasi baru virus COVID-19. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk Menganalisis Komunikasi Persuasif “Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika Kota Padang” Dalam Program Vaksinasi Covid-19 dan hambatan Komunikasi Persuasif “Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika Kota Padang” Dalam Program Vaksinasi Covid-19. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Komunikasi yang dilakukan Dinas KOMINFO kepada publik adalah untuk mengdukasi dan memberi informasi yang benar. Sebagai lembaga pemerintah yang turut dalam program vaksinasi covid-19 harus memiliki wawasan dan kemampuan. Agar tidak melakuakan kesalahan dalam menyampaikan fakta pesan yang ada.

Solok City Public Relations utilizes social media in carrying out its duties to support government work programs. The city of Solok has the slogan "Kota Beras Serambi Madinah" which reflects the vision and mission of the city of Solok in the context of the work program of the Mayor and Deputy Mayor. This study was conducted to analyze the use of social media by Public Relations of Solok City in realizing “Kota Beras Serambi Madinah” using Media Richness Theory by Richard L. Daft and Robert H. Lengel. This study uses a qualitative method, constructivist paradigm with a case study approach. Informants were determined by purposive sampling technique, conducted in-depth interviews, observation, documentation, data analysis and data validation. The results of the study found that Solok City Public Relations tried to use all the wealth of social media to realize the goals that have been set. One type of social media has two different accounts (profiles) with different language variations and signs to reach more audiences, anticipate the rapid exchange of information on social media and promote the Solok City Public Relations website. The ability of social media to show feelings and emotions is used by the Public Relations of Solok City to instill the values contained in the slogan " Kota Beras Serambi Madinah"

Members of the DPRD of West Sumatra Province have a moral responsibility to fight for the aspirations of the community. In fighting for the aspirations of the community, political communication is needed ideally to give a better influence on the community. In fighting for the aspirations of the community, it is necessary for the members of the council to have good political communication skills. This study aims to analyze the experience of political communication of members of the DPRD of West Sumatra Province in fighting for aspirations in their constituency and to analyze the essential meaning of the experience of political communication of DPRD members in fighting for the aspirations of the people in their constituency. The research method used is a qualitative phenomenological approach with a constructivist paradigm. With data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the research obtained are that the communication that occurs is dialogical which allows anyone, from politicians, activists, and partners to become communicators and communicants at almost the same time. The aspirations conveyed by the community are the main messages in political communication that occur throughout the struggle for the aspirations of the people by members of the DPRD of West Sumatra. Mass communication, interpersonal communication, and organizational communication are communication channels used throughout the agenda for the struggle for community aspirations by members of the DPRD of West Sumatra Province. The obstacles encountered in fighting for the aspirations of the community are the existence of changing regulations, and the need for synchronization of regulations from the central government, city district governments, and provincial governments related to the authority of the aspirations submitted and synchronization with the work programs of relevant agencies and the RPJMD, with a long period of 1 year. making it difficult to fight for urgent aspirations.Keywords: Communication, Politic, DPRD, Aspirations.

Interpersonal communication between parents and children has a significant impact on the mental growth and academic performance of children. As a result, parents must make the effort to engage with their kids. Based on previous study, children who have working parents typically perform worse academically. Nevertheless, some children of working parents still achieve success. This research was conducted to determine the communication style of working parents with academically gifted children. A case study methodology and a qualitative technique are both used in this research. Observation, interviews and documentations are used as data collection methods. The results of this research suggest that parental and child interpersonal communication activities have a significant impact on children's mental development. Children's self-confidence will be cultivated through effective parent-child contact and communication, especially when it comes to the children's belief in their own potential to succeed.

Youths are facing unprecedented change and uncertainty, such as gender equality, mental health, industry, and the corporation of the adult world. The rise of the issue of gender equality in Indonesia is accompanied by changes in construction society in the depiction of gender. This research is using multi-method qualitative approach, focus on exploring the narratives of youths as they fixed their self-identity with in-depth interview. The theory that is using in this study is Anthony Gidddens' theory: modernity, and self-identity. It portrays the condition of young people who are attached to society's constructs about interpreting gender. Gender and body are not only talk about men or women but show in performance and controlled by society. This research found that showing the masculine and feminine side did not change the self-identity of the subjects.

The increase in tourists which is the main driver of the tourism sector requires the cooperation of all stakeholders consisting of the government and direct cooperation from both the business world and from the private sector. The increase in tourist visits is certainly inseparable from communication activities between actor’s manager of the Puncak Pato tourist area and the government. This communication is important to achieve maximum results in increasing tourist visits to Puncak Pato. The research method used is a phenomenological approach with a constructivism paradigm. The theory used is the Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis theory from Jonathan Smith. Based on the results of the research, it shows that the important concept of communication between managers of the Puncak Pato tourist destination is openness in conveying correct information to the government, an attitude of supporting the government in communication activities and carrying out communication activities with the government in the form of meetings.

The born of Public Information Disclosure Laws of Indonesia as written on Act Number 14 Year 2008 causes all public body must actively provide transparent, complete, and clear information to the public. As an implementation of public information disclosure, Sidodadi Village is one of public body located in Mukomuko District must have an Information and Documentation Management Officer (shortened as PPID in Bahasa) website to disseminate information in accordance with the table of public information data availability of Mukomuko District. The objects the present study were contents contained in PPID website of Sidodadi Village. This study used qualitative content analysis model approach. The analysis performed toward text and picture on the website. With the presence of the website, the public information of Sidodadi Village can be accessed well by everyone, as long as they are connected with internet. We conclude that the website of Sidodadi Village has fulfilled the function as promotion, marketing, information, education and communication media.
