PENGARUH BUDAYA SEKOLAH TERHADAP EFEKTIFITAS SEKOLAH PADA SMAN PADA DINAS PENDIDIKAN PROPINSI JAWA BARAT Aan Komariah

Desentralisasi memberikan keleluasan kepada sekolah untuk mengembangkan langkah manajemen yang diorientasikan pada prakarsa mewujudkan budaya mutu. Dalam terminologi manajemen, lembaga pendidikan yang bermutu adalah yang memenuhi syarat efektifitas, efisiensi, dan produktifitas. Menjadi tanggungjawab pemimpin merintis, menciptakan dan mendorong tumbuhnya budaya mutu di sekolah melalui pemimpin yang memiliki daya pikir jauh ke depan yang mampu menangani perubahan dan menciptakan pembahan pendidikan ke arah kualitas sehingga dapat diraih predikat sekolah efektif. Penelitian ini diarahkan pada budaya yang terdiri atas tiga sub variabel yaitu pola nilai, pola kebiasaan, pola sikap dan tindakan Variabel-variabel tersebut dikaji keberartian kontribusinya pada efektifitas sekolah yang dinilai dari indikator layanan manajemen, learning Organization, dan kompetensi siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode explanatory snrvey dengan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui instrument angket. Unit analisisnya adalah Kepala SMAN pada Dinas Pendidikan Kota di Propinsi Jawa Barat, dengan sample 64 orang. Temuan penelitian menunjukan bahwa Efektifitas Sekolah dipengaruhi secara positif dan signifikan oleh budaya sekolah. Nilai yang perlu selalu dirujuk dalam mengembangkan budaya mutu adalah nilai spiritual, nilai otonomi dan nilai profesionalisme. Sedangkan pola sikap dan tindakan yang perlu terus dibangun adalah komunikasi, pergaulan akademik dan social, serta pembinaan personil. Untuk pola kebiasaan, aspek slogan, moto, upacara-upacara, dan uniformitas dalam berbagai hal perlu dieleminir dan diciptakan kebiasaan-kebiasaan yang tidak kontraproduktif dengan efektifitas sekolah

AbstrakSekolah merupakan tempat berlangsungnya proses belajar mengajar dalam rangka mencapai tujuan pendidikan nasional. Namun, tidak semua sekolah memiliki mutu yang tinggi untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kesenjangan antara fenomena empiris dengan teori yang berlaku. Penelitian bertujuan mendeskripsikan dan menganalisa pengaruh dari kinerja manajerial kepala sekolah dan kinerja mengajar guru terhadap mutu sekolah dasar negeri di Kota Bandung. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan pengumpulan data dengan kuisioner. Objek penelitian adalah guru dan kepala sekolah dasar di Kota Bandung yang berjumlah 397 guru dan 33 kepala sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, secara parsial maupun bersama-sama keduanya memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap mutu sekolah. Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini yaitu para kepala sekolah dapat meningkatkan kinerja manajerialnya, khususnya dalam kemampuan pengambilan keputusan yang tepat, dan para guru bisa memperbaiki kinerja mengajarnya dengan menambah pengetahuan, wawasan, dan keilmuannya, khususnya dalam pelaksanaan proses belajar mengajar guna mewujudkan pembelajaran yang efektif. Kata kunci: Kinerja manajerial kepala sekolah, Kinerja mengajar guru, Mutu Sekolah AbstractSchool is the place for the learning process in order to achieve national education goals. However, not all schools have high quality for achieving these objectives. This research is motivated by the gap between empirical phenomena with the prevailing theory. The study aims to describe and analyze the influence of managerial performance of school principals and teachers teaching performance to the quality of public elementary school in Bandung. The method used is descriptive method with quantitative approach and data collection by questionnaire. The research objects were teachers and principals of elementary schools in the city of Bandung which amounted to 397 teachers and 33 principals. The results showed, partially or together they have a significant influence on the quality of schools. Recommendations from this research that the principals can improve managerial performance, especially in the ability of making the right decisions, and teachers can improve their teaching performance by increasing knowledge, insight, and scientific, especially in the implementation of the learning process in order to create effective learning. The Effect of Transformational Leadership and Madrasah Climate on Elementary School Teacher Performance Adriantoni Adriantoni; Aan Komariah; Diding Nurdin; Endang Herawan

The purpose of this research is to find out the description of teacher performance data, transformational leadership, and school climate; and the influence of transformational leadership on teacher performance, the effect of school climate on teacher performance. The research method used is a quantitative method through an associative approach. The population in the study amounted to 94 elementary school teachers in the city of Padang. Data collection techniques through questionnaires. The results of the study revealed that: the description of the transformational leadership data of elementary school principals in the city of Padang, is included in the high category with an average of 72.14, the description of school climate is in the high category, namely 101.80, and the description of teacher performance data is also in the high category, namely 92.12; there is a positive and significant effect of transformational leadership on teacher performance of 0.917%, its contribution is 84.08%, which means that transformational leadership has a strong effect on teacher performance of 0.913%, its contribution is 83.35, which means that the school climate has a strong effect on teacher performance; there is a positive and significant effect of transformational and school climate on teacher performance of 0.604, the contribution is 36.48%, which means that transformational leadership and school climate together have a strong influence on teacher performance. The implication is that efforts to optimize teacher performance can be carried out by school principals through exemplary, motivational, democratic policies, providing rewards, making good personal relationships and approaches, and creating a sense of security and comfort at work.

This research aimed to examine the infrastructure development of vocational education programs and the role of leadership and management in accordance with the demands of the workforce. The research applied qualitative method and was conducted at a state Polytechnic in Bandung with participants from the leadership, Study Programs, lecturers and instructors. The results of the study indicated that infrastructure development and the role of leadership and management had been carried out well to meet the needs of the workforce. However, management in the program of recruiting educators from industries and cooperation with other parties in the development of facilities needed an improvement.

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengekspolasi secara mendalam partisipasi masyarakat dalam pemenuhan fasilitas pendidikan di Sekolah Dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN Cicalengka 4 Bandung. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan lima kategori partisipasi masayarakat dalam pemenuhan fasilitas pendidikan, yaitu penyedia fasilitas, pengawas pembangunan, peran komite sekolah, Partisipasi tenaga, partisipasi dana. Dari lima peran tersebut, maka peran komite sekolah tentu akan berdampak besar dalam pemenuhan fasilitas pendidikan jika difungsikan secara maksimal. Kata Kunci : Fasilitas Pendidikan, Komite Sekolah, Ruang Kelas Baru (RKB). ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to deeply extrapolate community participation in the fulfillment of educational facilities in elementary schools. The research method used is qualitative method with case study approach. Data collection is done with interviews and documentation studies. This research was conducted at SDN Cicalengka 4 Bandung. The results describe five categories of community participation in the fulfillment of educational facilities, namely facility providers, development supervisors, the role of school committees, labor participation, fund participation. Of the five roles, the role of the school committee will certainly have a big impact in the fulfillment of educational facilities if functioned to the maximum. This study aims to find out the role of the principal in the utilization of digitalization system for elementary school management through SMSBK application at SD El Fitra, Bandung City. The method used in this study is the case study method. Based on the research findings, the results and impact of the implementation of the school management digitization system by the principal obtained an idea that the smsbk application implemented improves the quality of management, facilitates the control of unfinished work, accelerates the reporting process. In addition, this application is also able to help school management, improve teacher productivity and performance, and facilitate task completion because data is centralized in digital.

The canteen has a crucial role in delivering halal, safe, and healthy food as well as environmental protection. However, many processed food microentrepreneurs lack halal certification for their products and do not effectively manage waste. Registration for halal certification has been challenging due to a lack of education, information, and dedication. Tertiary institutions should provide training on product halal assurance systems, technical registration of halal certification through a self-declaring scheme, and 3R-based waste management (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) as a form of community service so that they can become eco-friendly halal canteens. This is consistent with the concept of rahmatan lil alamin. Questionnaire distribution is used to test the measurement of training results. Following the training, it was discovered that participants' knowledge of halal products, how to acquire halal certification, and waste management had improved. Canteen microentrepreneurs demonstrate their willingness to apply for halal certification and execute 3R-based waste management.

This study aimed to find a feasible quality management model for realizing quality schools through leadership and school-based evaluation, especially at the junior high school level. The research locations were in six Junior High Schools that implemented the Program Sekolah Penggerak (SMP Penggerak) Batch 1 in Batam City. The study used explanatory sequential mixed methods. The number of samples used was 178 teachers, including six principals. The data analysis technique used the weighted mean scores to measure the average tendency of respondents' answers and Pearson's correlation to measure the level of relationship between variables. Based on the research results, a feasible quality management model is implemented through the PDCA approach in the activities of mission alignment, involvement and empowerment, roles and responsibilities, digitalization in management work, ethical commitment, knowledge management, action for change, or the acronym MERDEKA. This model can improve school quality.
