Abstract

The process of creating, sharing, discovering, and capturing knowledge becomes an intangible asset for an organization. As a valuable asset, Knowledge needs to be managed. There is a tool called Knowledge Management System (KMS). The latest technology and social or structural mechanisms are components to develop KMS. But developing an IT project has a high risk of failure, so it should be managed using a project management approach. A project is a temporary endeavor to make a product or service. It means that a project has a start and an end project phase. Some methodologies which exist do not offer complete stages of development KMS. They do not cover feasibility study activities, lack of clear specification, and lack of closing project phase. The study gap is expected to be loaded up and well explained in this paper through a systematic review of the published literature over the last six years using the Kitchenham method. The results show that most researchers used a predictive approach compared to an iterative, incremental, or adaptive development approach to build KMS. The main result of this study we found 36 processes in the developing KMS. The novelty of this research, we generated a table to map the processes into the model, method, artifact and presented it by group process based on the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK). The table can help the organization develop the KMS project to improve its effectiveness and competitiveness.

Abstract

The Work Unit for Procurement (UKPBJ) of the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture has developed a Procurement Information System in Schools (SIPLah) to create effectiveness, efficiency, transparency, and accountability of the procurement ecosystem in education units. 103,619 education units have used SIPLah, this achievement has not met the target of 220,283 schools in 2019 which has increased to 442,960 education units in 2020. The level of user acceptance has a significant influence on achieving the target number of users, but UKPBJ has never conducted research related to this factor. As a result, user acceptance has not become a reference in determining strategies in the socialization and development of SIPLah. This study aims to determine the factors that influence the adoption of SIPLah from the user's perspective in educational units using the Unified Model of E-Government Adoption (UMEGA). In this exploratory research, the perceived risk variable on UMEGA which in the hypothesis has a negative effect, be changed to perceived security so that it has a positive effect and is in line with other hypotheses. There were 150 valid respondents who were analyzed statistically using PLS-SEM with SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results of the study can be concluded that factors of performance expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, perceived security, and attitude are factors that must be considered by UKPBJ in determining strategies to socialize and develop SIPLah, because these factors have a significant positive impact on user intentions in education unit to adopt SIPLah.

Abstract

Along with the rapid development of information technology, Digital Transformation (DT) has become a part of everyday life. The COVID-19 pandemic has triggered the occurrence of DT at every level of society in the daily use of technology. However, the implementation of DT is very slow and inefficient and even becomes a problem for employees and the organization. DT implementation in the public sector is expected to be the key to the Government's success. However, many governments fail to implement DT because it only focuses on modernizing technology, not as a whole. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct a study to analyze the marwanfactors of Digital Transformation (DT) Readiness in Government. This research is a qualitative research method with thematic analysis and Fuzzy Delphi method by conducting a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) first for literature study. Based on the results of the SLR, found five dimensions and 19 factors that affect DT Readiness in Government. The five dimensions are People, Process, Technology, Organization, Environment. Based on the thematic analysis results, three additional factors were found in the people dimension: mindset, and organizational factors, namely risk management and knowledge management. This study also provides a model proposal based on the analysis results presented in a conceptual model with 21 analyzed factors. The research can provide understanding factors that affect the readiness of DT in the Government and as the basis for decision-making by stakeholders in the Government.

Abstract

Sektor pertanian di Indonesia merupakan sektor penting untuk perekonomian dan stabilitas negara. Data dan informasi terkait komoditas pertanian dianggap penting oleh pemerintah yang dibuktikan dengan peraturan pemerintah yang mengatur permasalahan tersebut. Walau dianggap penting, namun masih terdapat masalah pada data pertanian, seperti tidak tepatnya data pertanian, bantuan pemerintah yang tak tepat sasaran dan permasalahan lahan pertanian yang di alih gunakan. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini, penulis memiliki hipotesa untuk membuat sistem informasi pertanian yang datanya dapat dimasukan secara mandiri. Selama penelitian berlangsung, didapatkan bahwa sistem informasi yang sejenis telah dibuat, namun berdasarkan wawancara oleh narasumber, diketahui bahwa sistem tersebut mengalami kegagalan disebabkan tidak adanya motivasi petani untuk memasukan datanya menggunakan sistem informasi. Berdasarkan permasalahan ini peneliti mencoba merancang sistem informasi menggunakan gamifikasi yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan motivasi petani. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metodologi SSM yang dimofikasi dengan metodelogi perancangan gamifikasi. Setelah prototipe di sebarkan kepada pengguna yaitu petani, akademisi, pengusaha dan pemerintah terkait, skor dari kuesioner SUS adalah 60%, namun kebanyakan pengguna menyatakan bahwa akan menggunakan sistem informasi ini jika benar-benar diterapkan. Hasil penelitian ini juga ditemukan bahwa penggunaan gamifikasi dapat dimanfaatkan, namun belum terlalu menonjol kebermanfaatannya karena sistem masih berupa konsep dan diperlukannya perancangan yang berfokus pada satu komoditas terlebih dahulu dikarenakan berbedanya rantai pasok antara komoditas pertanian di Indonesia.

Abstract

E-commerce users in Indonesia continue to increase along with advances in digitalization. This causes a trend to occur where many offline shop entrepreneurs are responding to changes in consumer behavior by creating online shopping applications to maintain the existence of their business to be consistent with time progress. The purpose of this research is to find out what factors affect user acceptance of online retail applications used for online shopping at XYZ stores using the UTAUT2 acceptance model. In line with changes, case studies were conducted on grocery stores and retail stores that carried out digital innovation by creating online retail applications for their consumers. The research was conducted using a mixed method, data was collected through interviews with sources and using a questionnaire spread to 149 research sample consumers. The data processing technique uses PLS-SEM with SmartPLS tools. The research results show that 4 factors influence the use of online retail applications, including hedonic motivation, habit, behavioral intention, and application use. The results of this research can be used as material for management considerations to increase the excellence of the application so that user interest in online shopping using the application at XYZ store increases

Abstract

Knowledge management (KM) is a systematic approach that facilitates the development, dissemination, and creation of value from information and knowledge within an organization. Knowledge management is deemed the most valuable asset for many organizations. However, the implementation of a knowledge capturing model is still a challenging task. In this research, a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) methodology is employed to identify and analyze diverse approaches to capturing and utilizing knowledge in various organizational domains. The search process is executed across five databases, namely, Scopus, Science Direct, Emerald Insight, Taylor & Francis Online, and IEEE. The study findings reveal a total of 24 knowledge capture methods employed across diverse organizational contexts and knowledge types. Among these methods, the questionnaire was mentioned in 4 articles, an interview in 2 articles, and an expert interview in two articles. The success factors were classified into 20 types, including common knowledge, organizational capabilities, quality of knowledge, trust and acceptance, leadership capabilities, feedback and learning, performance measurement, reward and recognition, efficiency, knowledge management integration, organizational culture, knowledge managers tools and techniques, effectiveness, motivation, information technology, and knowledge management process, training, knowledge representation, and collaboration. Additionally, the identified trending methods and eight key success factors that influence implementation of various knowledge capture models add a new understanding of the critical elements for success in knowledge capture initiatives. This review, in accordance with PRISMA guidelines, provides a foundation for future research efforts in knowledge acquisition and systematic literature review.

Abstract

Pengembangan perangkat lunak di Universitas Tarumanagara (UNTAR) dilaksanakan oleh bagian Pusat Komputer yang merupakan unit dibawah Direktorat Sistem Informasi dan Database. Proses pengembangan perangkat lunak dilakukan oleh tim pengembangan yang terdiri atas beberapa orang programmer senior dan junior . Di dalam tim tersebut masing-masing programmer memiliki kompetensi, latar belakang programming, coding model, serta pengalaman yang berbeda. Perbedaan inilah yang kemudian menimbulkan kesenjangan dari sisi pengetahuan dan pemahaman terhadap pekerjaan yang dilakukan, hal ini tentu dapat menghambat aktifitas pekerjaan terkait pengembangan  perangkat lunak. Di samping itu pengetahuan juga merupakan aset yang berharga bagi perusahaan atau organisasi yang harus di kelola, di simpan dan di sharing kepada orang-orang di dalam perusahaan atau organisasi tersebut. Untuk itu tujuan penelitian ini adalah membuat sebuah Knowledge Management Sytem sebagai media knowledge sharing antar programmer guna mendukung pengelolaan pengetahuan dan berbagi pengetahuan diantara programmer-programmer di dalam tim pengembangan perangkat lunak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan SECI Model. Hasil penelitian menghasilkan sebuah rancangan Knowledge Management System dengan fitur-fitur berupa collaboration project, forum online, web portal KMS, blog, knowledge repository, document management system, dan study case. Pengujian menggunakan user acceptance test, dimana diperoleh hasil bahwa sistem yang dirancang dapat berfungsi dengan baik dan sesuai kebutuhan pengguna dengan persentase rata-rata sebesar 82,6%.

Abstract

The ability of an educational institution in terms of science and technology became one of the very important factors. Despite those two things then it should be accompanied by qualified human resources and competitive. SDIT Al-Hikmah Cipayung Depok is an Islamic educational institution where the transfer of knowledge is still limited in the forum work meetings there has been no documentation or technology that saves teachers 'knowledge and experience in teaching. Knowledge Management System is the most effective way of tackling the problem and solution sharing and transfer of knowledge teachers at Al-Hikmah SDIT Cipayung Depok. The research method used was the establishment of the SECI model of knowledge, architectural design model application with MVC (Model-View-Controller), testing validation by Focus Group Discussion (FGD) method using a questionnaire, software testing, and black box testing and software quality testing with ISO 9126. The result of the research is a Knowledge Management System as the technology transfer of knowledge that is one of the efforts in reducing the use of paper (paperless office), making the efficiency of time, effort and cost, and better documentation management in the SDIT Al-Hikmah Cipayung Depok.

Abstract

Information systems research for non-profit organizations is an opportunity to make a contribution to the field of information systems, the adoption of information systems in this field is relatively tedious and there are few studies that examine this area; consequently, there are several research gaps in the domain of non-profit organizations that need to be solved. This research will focus on the development of data warehouse architecture and business intelligence for non-profit organizations. In this study, the Soft Systems Methodology (SSM) technique will be employed to develop a data warehouse architecture and business intelligence. This research will interview twenty individuals to collect primary data, review organizational policy documents, and conduct an open-ended survey. The obtained data will then be qualitatively analyzed, resulting in the formation of rich picture diagrams, CATWOE analysis, and conceptual models, which will ultimately form a data warehouse architecture and business intelligence. This research has produced a microservices-enhanced data warehouse architecture and business intelligence for non-profit organizations.

Abstract

The impact of Industry 4.0 on the Indonesian stock market, with a special focus on PT XYZ. PT XYZ has experienced a significant surge in individual investors, particularly from the younger generation, who are technologically savvy and prefer the stock exchange as an investment method. This paper discusses the critical role of the Market Development Division at PT XYZ in meeting the educational needs of prospective investors and companies planning to list. One significant challenge identified is the knowledge gap within PT XYZ, especially between employees with varying levels of experience, and the absence of a centralized knowledge repository. This gap hinders education for potential investors and listed companies, thereby impacting service quality. In response, PT XYZ acknowledges the need to enhance Knowledge Management (KM) practices and begins developing a tailored knowledge sharing strategy. This strategy aims to bridge the existing knowledge gap and prevent knowledge loss, utilizing the Zack Framework for gap analysis. Qualitative research methods, including semi-structured interviews with 3 experts, were employed in this study. It resulted in a gap analysis between the current state and PT XYZ's necessary knowledge regarding the implementation of knowledge sharing, leading to the recommendation of eight knowledge sharing strategies.
