Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the influence of polite language and effective promotion on increasing the sales volume of goods among weekly market traders at Car Free Day (CFD) Boulevard, Makassar City. This research adopts a quantitative approach and utilizes a survey method with questionnaires as the primary data collection tool. The data collected were processed using SPSS version 23 to obtain the research findings. The sample consisted of 165 respondents, selected from a total population of 282 weekly traders at CFD Boulevard, Makassar City. The criteria for inclusion were traders who used tents or tarpaulins on the street and had consistently participated in the CFD market for eight consecutive weeks. The sample size was determined using the Slovin formula with a margin of error 0.05. The analytical methods employed in this study included descriptive analysis, validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests (including multicollinearity and heteroscedasticity tests), and multiple linear regression analysis, all aligned with the study's conceptual framework. The findings revealed that both polite language and effective promotion positively and significantly impact the sales volume of goods among weekly market traders at Car Free Day Boulevard, Makassar City.

Abstract

The current research is exploring the impact of the QRIS transaction use and digital literacy on the revenue of culinary MSMEs in Makassar City. Based on primary data that constitutes structured questionnaires administered to 50 culinary MSME actors, multiple linear regression analysis will be used in the study to study both individual and combined effects of the variables. Based on the results, QRIS adoption and digital literacy indicated that these two variables have significant positive effects on MSME income. Further, when used simultaneously, these factors have synergetic effect on financial performance. The results indicate that, as QRIS offers an effective and safe transaction platform, it is of the best use when the operators are digitally literate enough to apply the technology to the greater business model. The research will help in MSME digitalization given that it highlights the synergetic nature of using payment technology with human capital capabilities. The implications propose that policy initiatives targeting to enhance the performance of MSMEs in the digital economies should be directed to both access and the enhancement of digital competencies of MSME actors.

Abstract

This research was conducted in the manufacturing companies in the Makassar industrial zone (Kawasan Industri Makassar, KIMA) in the municipality of Makassar. Data are collected using questionnaire with Likert scale. Respondents are required to report their perception on the implementation of JIT purchasing, JIT production, JIT selling, operational performance and organizational performance. Research hypotheses are analyzed using path analysis.The findings of this research show that proper implementation of JIT purchasing and JIT selling can improve operational performance and organizational performance. JIT production does not directly influence organizational performances, howevers JIT productioncan improve organizational performance through operational performance. This would mean that JIT production can have a greater role in improving operational performance as a manifestation of the better implementation of JIT production.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of UMP and work motivation on employee performance, with employee loyalty as a mediating variable, particularly in the car rental service sector in South Sulawesi. The research employs a quantitative approach using a survey of 222 respondents selected through purposive sampling. The collected data were analyzed using SEM-PLS techniques to examine the relationships among variables. The findings reveal that UMP and work motivation have positive and significant effects on employee loyalty and performance. Employee loyalty is also proven to mediate the influence of UMP and work motivation on performance. A combination of fair UMP policies and effective work motivation strategies results in sustainable employee loyalty, which directly impacts productivity improvement. This study recommends that organizations integrate UMP policies and motivation strategies with a holistic approach that includes rewards, training, and career development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the direct  effects  of  Tyrannical  Leadership  on  Leader  Trust,  Performance,  and  Loyalty,  as  well  as evaluate the mediating role of Leader Trust. A quantitative approach was employed, with a population consisting of Polri members and a sample selected through purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. The findings revealed that Tyrannical Leadership had no significant effect on Leader Trust and Loyalty but had a small significant effect  on  Performance.  In contrast, Leader Trust  had  a significant  and  strong influence on both Performance and Loyalty. These results highlight the importance of trust as a key element in enhancing subordinate performance and loyalty, while also demonstrating that tyrannical leadership is less effective in fostering productive working relationships. This study recommends Polri to adopt a trust-based leadership style focused on transparent communication, consistency, and the creation of a fair and supportive work environment

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of marketing strategy on customer satisfaction, customer loyalty, and sales volume, with customer satisfaction acting as a mediating variable. The study employed the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method to examine the relationships between variables. Data were collected through surveys using questionnaires distributed to 106 customers selected using the purposive sampling method, targeting customers who had used energy sector services and possessed relevant experience with these services. Data collection was conducted directly, ensuring that respondents met the criteria aligned with the research objectives. The results show that marketing strategy has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, customer loyalty, and sales volume. Additionally, customer satisfaction positively and significantly influences both loyalty and sales volume, and it is proven to mediate the relationship between marketing strategy and customer loyalty, as well as sales volume. These findings affirm that well-designed marketing strategies, such as relevant promotions, competitive pricing, and quality services, play a crucial role in enhancing customer satisfaction, which ultimately strengthens customer loyalty and drives sales growth. This study contributes to the theoretical framework by expanding the literature on marketing in the energy sector, particularly regarding the role of customer satisfaction as a mediator. Practically, the findings recommend that companies focus more on customer-centric marketing strategies to build sustainable long-term relationships. However, the limitations of this study include its restricted geographical scope and its lack of exploration of other variables, such as the role of digital technology. Future research is encouraged to expand the study area and incorporate additional variables for a more comprehensive analysis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh strategi pemasaran terhadap peningkatan jumlah nasabah pada PT Bank Sulselbar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan memanfaatkan data primer dan data sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak tujuh orang responden. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan dan verifikasi kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi pemasaran memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan jumlah nasabah pada PT Bank Sulselbar. Penerapan strategi pemasaran yang tepat terbukti tidak hanya efektif dalam menarik nasabah baru, tetapi juga mampu mempertahankan nasabah yang telah ada. Selain itu, strategi pemasaran yang berkesinambungan berperan penting dalam menciptakan hubungan jangka panjang yang saling menguntungkan antara bank dan nasabah. Dengan demikian, keberhasilan strategi pemasaran menjadi salah satu faktor kunci dalam meningkatkan daya saing dan pertumbuhan PT Bank Sulselbar di tengah dinamika industri perbankan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh pengembangan sumber daya manusia terhadap kinerja pegawai; (2) menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh fasilitas kantor terhadap kinerja pegawai; (3) menguji dan menganalisis budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja pegawai di Balai Pemasyarakatan Kelas I Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer melalui survei terhadap 59 pegawai Balai Pemasyarakatan Kelas I Makassar. Survei dilakukan dari bulan Mei s.d Juli 2025. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji T. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) pengembangan sumber daya manusia berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai; (2) fasilitas kantor tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai; (3) budaya organisasi tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Balai Pemasyarakatan Kelas I Makassar. Hal ini berarti bahwa pengembangan sumber daya manusia dapat mempengaruhi kinerja pegawai melalui pelatihan yang dilakukan. Sementara fasilitas kantor tidak berpengaruh karena apabila fasilitas tidak memadai dan kurang lengkap itu tidak akan memberikan dampak signifikan bagi kinerja pegawai. Budaya organisasi juga tidak berpengaruh karena lingkungan di Balai Pemasyarakatan Kelas I Makassar tidak ditemukan hubungan yang memiliki dampak terhadap kinerja pegawai satu sama lain. Rekomendasi penelitian: (1) agar pihak Balai Pemasyarakatan Kelas I Makassar lebih memperhatikan fasilitas kantor guna menunjang kinerja pegawai; (2) agar pihak Balai Pemasyarakatan Kelas I Makassar memperhatikan budaya organisasi yang ada di kantor sehingga mampu menjadi dukungan bagi kinerja pegawai yang berkualitas di antara para pegawai.

Abstract

Meskipun penelitian tentang perilaku konsumen semakin meningkat, namun masih sedikit penelitian yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh green marketing terhadap green trust, dan niat beli ulang dalam pemilihan produk air minum dalam kemasan (AMDK). Oleh karena itu, dengan menggunakan data dari 100 konsumen AMDK di Kota Makassar, penelitian ini mengkaji hubungan tersebut. Empat hipotesis diajukan, baik untuk melihat hubungan langsung maupun tidak langsung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hubungan antara green marketing dan pembelian kembali tidak signifikan. green marketing mampu meningkatkan green trust, green trust mampu memberikan dampak positif terhadap pembelian ulang produk, dan green marketing mampu meningkatkan pembelian kembali produk air minum dalam kemasan melalui green trust. Kajian ini dapat membantu perusahaan dalam mengembangkan inovasinya terkait penerapan green marketing terkait dengan peningkatan pembelian ulang produk. Secara praktis, temuan ini dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan keuntungan perusahaan dan citra perusahaan dalam mendukung gerakan ramah lingkungan dalam memenuhi tuntutan dan keinginan pelanggan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki bagaimana kualitas layanan mempengaruhi kepuasan dan loyalitas pelanggan di PT. Bank Sulselbar, Cabang Parepare, dengan ukuran sampel sebanyak 150 pelanggan. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas layanan, yang mencakup bukti fisik, keandalan, responsivitas, jaminan, dan empati, berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan dan loyalitas pelanggan. Pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa keandalan, responsivitas, dan bukti fisik memainkan peran penting dalam membentuk kepuasan dan loyalitas pelanggan. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa kepuasan pelanggan berdampak langsung pada loyalitas pelanggan di PT. Bank Sulselbar, Cabang Parepare. Untuk meningkatkan keandalan perusahaan, disarankan untuk menetapkan waktu respons yang dijamin untuk menangani masalah pelanggan. Selain itu, perusahaan juga disarankan untuk memberikan pelayanan pelanggan yang luar biasa dan bantuan yang dipersonalisasi berdasarkan kebutuhan individual pelanggan. Secara keseluruhan, hasil penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya menjaga kualitas layanan yang tinggi untuk meningkatkan kepuasan dan loyalitas pelanggan. Dengan mengutamakan keandalan dan menyediakan dukungan yang disesuaikan, PT. Bank Sulselbar dapat lebih menguatkan hubungannya dengan pelanggan dan meningkatkan kinerja keseluruhan perusahaannya
