Abstract

The Independent Learning Curriculum in Indonesia emphasizes flexibility in learning that is tailored to students' needs and interests. Teachers are expected to have teaching strategies that can increase students' learning motivation, especially in economics subjects that are often considered boring by some students. This study aims to examine the role of teacher creativity in increasing students' learning motivation in economics learning. The method used in this study is a literature study or literature review. The results of the study show that teacher creativity greatly influences student motivation. Creative teachers can design interesting learning materials, use innovative media, and create a fun and interactive learning atmosphere. This has a positive impact on students' interest and enthusiasm in taking economics lessons, as well as improving their learning outcomes. Teacher creativity, which is reflected in critical thinking skills, flexibility, and the ability to evaluate and adapt teaching methods to students' needs, plays an important role in the success of learning. This study concludes that creative teachers can create a more effective learning process, help students achieve academic goals, and develop competencies that are important for their future.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the pedagogic competence of teachers class in planning learning materials for grade 6 students at UPT SPF SD Inpres Antang 1. Class teachers and school authorities have an important role ibn planning or preparing learning materials for use in learning as a medium so that the material being taught is conveyed properly as stated in the Regulation of the Minister of education and culture number 62 0f 2013 concerning National Education Standards which explained about the lesson plan designed in the form of a syllabus and RPP which refers to the Content Standards. Learning planning includes preparation of learning implementation plans and preparation of media, resources of study, learning assesment tools, and learning scenarios. This study is a descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques namely observation, interview, and decomentation. Informants in this study are the principal, 3 homeroom teachers for grade 6, and 1 subject teachers. Result research shows the preparation of Class 6 teachers in preparing materials learning. Supporting factors that influence the material planning learning namely the creativity and skills of teachers, cooperation of teachers, students and parents, learning components, as well as facilities and infrastructure adequate.

Abstract

The function of teachers is crucial in accomplishing educational objectives. The role and competence of the teacher determines the student's learning outcome. The main player in learning is the teacher, who drives the transformation of education that produces a lot of change. The use of learning methods and media by teachers keeps students motivated and not bored in learning. The research method used is qualitative descriptive using literature or library study. There are three aspects of pedagogical competence: planning, implementation and evaluation of learning. The learning plan is the most important thing because it includes curriculum study activities, preparing curricula, RPP, learning strategies, learning resources and the atmosphere of learning activities. The use of media technology as a support for the learning process will help teachers in transferring information to students so that teachers can build active interaction with students. Teachers are able to help and ensure students are actively involved and create learning goals achieved. Learning evaluation is intended to examine various practical strategies for better further learning. Then good pedagogical competence is the success of teaching and learning

Abstract

Pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris pada anak-anak penting dilakukan, selain memudahkan anak dalam memasuki jenjang pendidikan yang lebih tinggi juga membiasakan anak menghadapi tuntutan zaman yang menggunakan bahasa inggris sebagai bahasa internasional sehingga anak nantinya dapat berkomunikasi dengan baik. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk peningkatan pemberdayaan dalam bentuk PKM model pembelajaran bahasa Inggris berbasis digital literacy sebagai upaya konstruktivisme karakter anak bangsa khususnya Sekolah SD Inpres Manggala. Metode yang ditempuh dalam pelaksanaan pengabdian melalui survey dan wawancara. Menentukan jadwal pelaksanaan pengabdian. Sosialisasi kegiatan, pelatihan dan pendampingan kepada mitra, evaluasi dan keberlanjutan kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukan bahwa PKM dapat (1) meningkatkan keahlian speaking/berbicara siswa dan guru, (2) Meningkatakan digital literacy, (3) Menumbuhkembangkan pendidikan karakter siswa. Bagi mitra hasil yang diharapkan adalah penerapan pelayanan pendidikan berupa buku bahasa Inggris berbasis literacy digital, penerapan Iptek kepada mitra berupa pembelajaran menggunakan perangkat lunak berupa media pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris berbasis digital literacy untuk menumbuhkembangkan pendidikan karakter anak Bangsa. Model pembelajaran bahasa Inggris yang diterapkan tidak hanya berorientasi pada ilmu pengetahuan murni yang mementingkan kemampuan kognitif siswa saja, namun juga berorientasi pada psikomotorik dan kemampuan afektif, yaitu constructivism karakter anak bangsa pada siswa sekolah SD Inpres Manggala.

Abstract

The rise of online seminars being held, of course, has advantages and disadvantages. Therefore it needs to be answered in a study. This type of research is a qualitative research method using a survey method. The research variables were the response of elementary school teachers and live chat streaming services. Subjects in this study were elementary school teachers who attended online seminars who were selected using simple random sampling. Data is taken and analyzed from teacher comments on google forms and live chat streaming on YouTube. The survey results show that descriptively elementary school teachers are enthusiastic about participating in online seminars via live chat streaming.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of providing verbal reinforcement on the learning motivation of fifth grade students at UPT SPF SD Inpres Manggala, Makassar City. This study uses a quantitative approach with an ex post facto research type. A sample of 76 students was selected through random sampling techniques. The research instrument was a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The results of the t-test showed that the significance value was 0.004 <0.05, which means that there is a significant effect between providing verbal reinforcement on students' learning motivation. Thus, it can be concluded that verbal reinforcement makes a positive contribution to increasing students' learning motivation. Keywords: Verbal Reinforcement, Learning Motivation, Elementary School   Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian penguatan verbal terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas V di UPT SPF SD Inpres Manggala, Kota Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian ex post facto. Sampel sebanyak 76 siswa dipilih melalui teknik random sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket dengan skala Likert. Hasil uji-t menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,004 < 0,05, yang berarti terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara pemberian penguatan verbal terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penguatan verbal memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa. Kata Kunci : Penguatan Verbal, Motivasi Belajar, Sekolah Dasar

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on mathematical critical thinking skills in grade IV students in elementary schools. Critical thinking is one of the most important skills in learning mathematics, because it helps students analyze, assess, and solve problems in a logical and orderly manner. This study used an experimental method with a pre-experimental design and applied a quantitative approach. The subjects studied were grade IV C students at the UPT SPF SD Negeri Bawakaraeng 1, Makassar, with a total of 21 students. The instrument used for the study was a mathematical critical thinking ability test that had been tested and validated. The results of this data collection technique applied a pretest and posttest with 5 essay questions as a measure to assess students. The results showed a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores of students taught with the PBL model compared to those taught using the traditional method. The pretest activity showed the frequency distribution of student scores, which showed that no students scored in the range of 85-100. A total of 8 students scored between 70-80, 10 students scored in the range of 55-69, and 3 students were in the range of 40-54. As for the posttest results, the frequency distribution showed that 12 students scored between 85-100. In addition, 9 students scored in the range of 70-84, and no students scored in the range of 55-69.

Abstract

The traditional game galah hadang is a culturally grounded form of play that integrates movement, strategy, teamwork, and sportsmanship; however, its practice among elementary school children has tended to decline alongside shifts in play patterns and reduced opportunities for meaningful physical activity. This study aimed to (1) introduce galah hadang to Grade 5 students at UPT SPF SD Inpres Tamangapa Elementary School in Makassar and (2) assess changes in students’ gameplay performance following the introductory session. A quantitative pre-experimental one-group pretest–posttest design was implemented in a single meeting involving 20 Grade 5 students. Gameplay performance was assessed using a teacher-rated galah hadang test on a 1–5 scale across four indicators: accuracy in guarding the line, agility in evasion, rule compliance, and team cooperation, supported by activity documentation. The findings indicate improved performance across all indicators after a structured introduction that combined rule socialization, role simulation, and supervised practice, with the most prominent gains observed in rule compliance and team cooperation. These results suggest that a systematically delivered traditional-game introduction can serve as a practical physical education learning alternative to strengthen both motor-related skills and social play behaviors, while providing a feasible evaluation basis for school-based community engagement programs.

Abstract

Kemampuan literasi merupakan salah satu kemampuan yang harus dikuasai dan diajarkan sejak usia dini, khususnya pada saat usia sekolah dasar. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di sekolah dan penguatan pemahaman peserta didik dalam membaca dan menulis di SDS Muhammadiyah IDI Tello Baru. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan deskriptif yang ditemui ketika melaksanakan pimpinan sebagai Program Mahasiswa Kampus Mengajar Angkatan 5 Tahun 2023 di sasaran sekolah. Sumber data yang digunakan berupa observasi, kata-kata tindakan, sumber sosialisasi, tulisan, dan foto. Hasil dari Penerapan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS) di Sekolah Dasar Muhammadiyah IDI Tello Baru dapat memberikan dampak positif bagi peserta didik dan sekolah seperti (1) peningkatan minat baca peserta didik, (2) peningkatan kemampuan membaca dan menulis peserta didik, (3) peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik, dan (4) peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di sekolah. Namun, perlu dilakukan evaluasi dan pemantauan secara berkala serta melibatkan orang tua dan masyarakat dalam program GLS untuk menjaga program keberlangsungan dan memaksimalkan manfaatnya bagi peserta didik dan sekolah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh model pambelajaran Game Based Learning berbasis Hero Games terhadap motivasi belajar siswa SD Negeri Bawakaraeng I Kota Makassar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pre-Eksperimen dengan menggunakan pendekatan Kuantitatif. Penelitian ini bertempat di SD Negeri Bawakaraeng I Kota Makassar. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan simple random sampling dengan memilih kelas IV C dengan jumlah keseluruhan sampel sebanyak 21 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan angket yang berkaitan dengan karakteristik suatu objek yang akan diteliti. Angket menyajikan seperangkat pertanyaan atau pernyataan untuk dijawab sebagai tolak ukur. Hasil distribusi frekuensi motivasi belajar pre-test diketahui bahwa nilai distribusi frekuensi motivasi belajar untuk pretest terbanyak berada pada kategori cukup sebanyak 13 siswa, kemudian pada hasil distribusi frekuensi motivasi belajar post-test diketahui bahwa nilai distribusi frekuensi motivasi belajar untuk posttest terbanyak berada pada kategori tinggi yaitu sebanyak 12 siswa. Analisis inferensial dengan hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan nilai signifikan sebesar 0,000 yang lebih kecil dari 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05). Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa penggunan model pembelajaran Games Based Learning berbasis hero games berpengaruh terhadap motivasi belajar siswa SD Bawakaraeng I Kota Makassar. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pambelajaran Game Based Learning berbasis Hero Games berpengaruh terhadap motivasi belajar siswa SD Negeri Bawakaraeng 1 Kota Makassar.
