Soft skills are very needed for every educator. Soft skills encourage the technical skill in self or even institutional development. This research was aimed to analyze 11 kinds of soft skills that is important for prospective educators to have. This research was done in form of descriptive analysis by using quantitative approach. The sample of this research was the students of IVET University as prospective educators for Vocational School in Technological Engineering field. The number of the sample was 80 students. The result showed that almost all respondents have good soft skills; the score was 6859 by 9600 total score. It’s same with 71,4%. The highest score was reached from indicator of enthusiasm at work, that was 86,4%. The lowest score was got by the capability of prospective educators from indicator of creative and innovative thinking, that was 51,9%. Based on this research, educational method or training in increasing the students’ soft skills for prospective educators have to be done, especially in indicator of critical, creative, and innovative thinking.

The unemployment of vocational high school (SMK) graduates at the moment is ranked at the top of 9.27% of 131.55 million people working force. This is because the limitation of facilities and infrastructures that exist in the practice room in vocational high School (SMK) so that it is the cause of low-power graduates in the workforce. This research aims to know: (1) The condition of the infrastructure facilities of SMK majoring in beauty department in the district of Jepara, (2) the level of conformity of infrastructure to the minimum standard Permendiknas number 40 year 2008, and (3) the adequacy of the infrastructure to the requirements of the curriculum. This research is an evaluation study with a discrepansi evaluation model. The approach used is a quantitative descriptive with percentage analysis. Data collection techniques using interview analysis, documents and observations. The analytical techniques used are descriptive statistics. The results showed that: (1) condition of facilities and infrastructures of vocational space competency of beauty department in Jepara District 50.6% with sufficient criteria decent. (2) The level of conformity of facilities and infrastructures of the practice room of 56.2% with adequate criteria appropriate (3) the adequacy of the facility of the practice room infrastructure to the needs of curriculum 45.11% with sufficient criteria meet.

Soft skills memiliki peranan yang sangat penting untuk dapat menentukan tingkat kematangan seseorang terutama untuk siswa menengah kejuruan (SMK). Dunia Pendidikan saat ini tidak hanya mengutamakan keterampilan motorik saja akan tetapi keterampilan soft skills juga sangat dipertimbangkan untuk menentukan keberhasilan dari peserta didik. Keterampilan soft skills sangat dibutuhkan oleh peserta didik untuk dapat terjun di dunia usaha dan dunia industri, karena bagi kebanyakan DUDI keterampilan soft skills yang sangat diutamakan dalam mencari Sumber Daya Manusia. Banyak sekali keutamaan soft skill yang dimana sebagai salah satu syarat bagi peserta didik untuk bisa menjadi lulusan yang berkualitas dan sangat dibutuhkan oleh dunia kerja. Aspek-aspek yang terdapat dalam ilmu soft skills sangat dapat membantu peserta didik untuk bisa mengikuti perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi saat ini sehingga dengan memiliki keterampilan soft skills yang baik dapat membantu peserta didik menjadi lulusan yang sesuai dengan apa yang dibutuhkan oleh dunia kerja. Review ini berisi mengenai akan pentingnya keterampilan soft skill bagi peserta didik di lingkungan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan agar dapat menjadi lulusan yang siap kerja sesuai dengan tujuan dari SMK itu sendiri, hal ini juga dapat membantu untuk mengurangi tingkat pengangguran dari lulusan SMK.

Based on observation at 25 junior high school Purworejo are gotten data that learning process TIK still using lecture method and using media still less. That is effect low studying result, we can looking by seven classs odd final examination result with mean classical studying completeness as 43,85%. This research purpose to know are there increasing student study result and to know are student study result with bingo learning media effective learning process. Research method is experiment with quasi experiment design. Sampling in quasi experiment use non random sampling technique that is purposive sampling. Quasi experiment design form is Nonequivalent control group design. This research result show that mean pretest experiment class as 67,42 whereas mean posttest experiment class as 83,28. Mean pretest control class as 66,48 whereas mean posttest control class as 76,09. Based on t-test analysis, there are increasing student study result with thitung = 2,77. Based on gain analysis, increasing study result experiment class in medium category that is 0,49 whereas increasing study result control class in low category that is 0,28 so student study result with bingo learning media effective learning process.

In this study the author tries to compare two models that guided inquiry learning and guided discovery learning. The subjects were three classes in junior Kesatrian 1 Semarang selected by purposive sampling, with details of the two classes of experiments is to apply the model guided inquiry with guided discovery learning in both classes, while classes only used as a control class. To find out improving student learning outcomes The author provides the initial test (pre-test) and final test (posttest). Based on analysis of survey data using t-test and classical completeness. The results of this study indicate that both modes give rise to learning outcomes with the acquisition of the t-test as follows, for a class of guided inquiry thitung 12.017> t table 1.994 (a significant difference), class guided discovery thitung 11.142> ttabel 1,994 (there is a difference significant). From the analysis it can be concluded that both the model can improve student learning outcomes. Then from these two models turned out to be a model guided inquiry further improve student learning outcomes when compared with the model of guided discovery learning. It can be seen from the acquisition value of classical completeness these two classes, namely guided inquiry 83.33% and 77.77% guided discovery learning.

This study aims to determine the increase in student learning outcomes SMPN 2 Ungaran through the application of Practice Rehearsal Pairs learning strategies on the subjects of ICT Class VIII Junior High School 2 Ungaran. This research is classified as quasi-experimental research with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study are all students of class VIII SMPN 2 Ungaran totaling 298 students. Samples were taken by purposive sampling with F VIII class as the experimental class and I class VIII as the control class with the number of 68 students. Data were analyzed using independent sample t-test test and n-gain test. The results showed that increased cognitive achievement of students in the experimental class is greater than the control class with n-gain experimental class > n-gain control class with 0.74> 0.62. In addition, there is an increased learning outcomes in the affective and psychomotor aspects of the experimental class larger than the control class. This shows that Practice Rehearsal Pairs learning strategies better than conventional learning. Suggestions based on the achievement of the implementation of Practice Rehearsal Pairs learning strategies in the learning process which can be used as an alternative in implementing learning in school and to the subsequent researchers to further develop the application of learning strategies Practice Rehearsal Pairs on subsequent learning process.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan menilai kinerja sekolah yang sudah menerapkan manajemen berbasis sekolah(MBS). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMK Muhammadiyah 5 Babat Lamongan.Sumber data diperoleh dari : Tenaga Pendidik, Tenaga Kependidikan, Siswa, dan Orang Tua siswa, Dokumen EDS,Laporan Pertanggung Jawaban Keuangan Sekolah dan Dokumen Alumni Sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja SMK Muhammadiyah 5 Babat Lamongan, secara keseluruhan berada pada kategori baik. Kinerja perspektif keuangan memperoleh nilai kinerja baik, untuk analisis 3E, secara keselurah belum memenuhi hanya 2E yang memenuhi syarat, yaitu memperoleh predikat sangat ekonomis, dan efisien. Untuk efektifitasnya belum memenuhi syarat karena memperoleh predikat kurang efektif. Kinerja pelanggan eksternal memperoleh nilai dengan kategori sangat baik. Kepuasan pelanggan internal memperoleh nilai kategori cukup baik. Sedangkan Kinerja perspektif proses bisnis internal menunjukkan kinerja cukup baik. Dari hasil penelitian ini diharapkan SMK Muhammadiyah 5 Babat Lamongan (1) meningkatkan kinerja pada perspektif yang berada pada kategori cukup baik menjadi baik atau sangat baik, (2) rating nilai evaluasi diri sekolah (EDS) hendaknya ditingkatkan agar dapat memperoleh rating di atas 2 bahkan mungkin bisa sampai rating 3.(3) pimpinan sekolah hendaknya semakin akomodatif dan kreatif dalam menangani beberapa tenaga pendidik an kependidikan yang kurang puas terhadap situasi dan kondisi yang ada di SMK Muhammadiyah 5 Babat Lamongan, sehingga kinerja semakin lebih baik.

This study aims to develop an e-learning management model of learning for Mathematics subjects in class X Senior High School 1 in Demak, testing its effectiveness and practicality. The research method used is Research and Development with the stages of this research process include: (1) preliminary stage; (2) the development stage, making the learning management model integrated into e-learning; (3) the validation stage, carried out by experts and practitioners; and (4) the testing phase was carried out in Demak 1 State High School involving 12 limited test students and 36 wider test students. Methods of data collection were in the form of test questions and questionnaires. The product validation test results were 94.35% (very feasible). Limited test results obtained an average score of pre-test 74.67 and post-test of 80.08 with a gain of 0.33 (medium). Wider test results obtained an average score of pre-test 71.44 and post-test 84.67 with a gain of 0.41 (medium). The practicality test results were obtained from student responses, namely 91.17% which included in the very practical category.

The aims of this study were to describe and analyze the partial and simultaneous influence of motivation and work environment as well as commitment towards teacher performance in organizing learning activity. This study also examined the influence of motivation and work environment through commitment on teacher performance in organizing learning activity. This study was a population study in which using quantitative method and survey approach. Data collection was done by using questionnaire distributed to 138 teachers. Data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis and path analysis. The results showed that motivation influenced on teacher commitment as big as 1.7%. Work environment had influence on teacher commitment as big as 47.9%. The influence of motivation and work environment on teacher commitment was 63.7%. While, motivation towards teacher performance was 14.7%. The influence of work environment on teacher performance was 9.3%. The influence of commitment towards teacher performance was equal to 12.6%. There was influence of motivation, work environment and commitment towards teacher performance which was equal to 59.1%. There was no influence of motivation on teacher performance through commitment because the value of Indirect Effect is smaller than the value of Direct Effect.
