Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the effect of performance management and assessment center on the performance of employees at PT.  Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero)    Malang Branch Office, either simultaneously or partially. This research is explanatory research that explains the causal relationship between the variables through hypothesis testing. This study used a sample of 100 respondents drawn from the employees who work in PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Malang Branch Office. Sampling was purposive sampling technique, also called judgment sampling is the selection of the type of random samples obtained by using certain considerations, generally adapted to the purpose or research problems. Test equipment used to test the research instrument beupa validity test, reliability test, and test the classical assumptions. Hypothesis testing is done using the F test and t test. Analysis using multiple linear regression analysis. From the results of research with the steps described above result that is based on the results of multiple linear regression analysis using the F test (simultaneous) it can be concluded simultaneously influencing purchasing decisions, then the results of t test analysis it can be concluded that in partial performance management and assessment center affects employee performance. Based on the results of the regression coefficient (Standardized Beta Coefficients), respectively, it can be seen variable employee performance is more influenced by variables rather than the variable assessment center performance management at PT. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh bauran pemasaran terhadap keputusan pembelian pada Waroeng Steak and Shake (studi kasus pada Waroeng Steak and Shake Soekarno – Hatta, Kota Malang). Kota Malang dikenal sebagai kota pelajar, karena dikota ini terdapat banyak sekolah dan perguruan tinggi/universitas yang membuat kota ini di tiap tahun akan menerima banyak pendatang baru dari luar Kota Malang untuk bersekolah atau melanjutkan pendidikannya. Selain dikenal sebagai kota pelajar, Kota Malang juga dikenal dengan kota yang memiliki beberapa tempat wisata. Karena 2 (dua) hal tersebut membuat orang yang datang ke Kota Malang di tiap tahunnya semakin meningkat, dan hal tersebut akan berpengaruh terhadap bisnis dan usaha tempat makan/rumah makan/kuliner yang ada di Kota Malang. Semakin banyak jumlah orang/penduduk yang terdapat di Kota Malang, kemungkinan besar juga akan semakin banyak orang yang dapat diserap untuk dijadikan konsumen dan pelanggan. Oleh karena hal tersebut, membuat bisnis dan usaha tempat makan di kota Malang semakin meningkat, terbukti dengan semakin banyaknya jumlah tempat makan/kuliner yang ada di kota Malang. Meninggi dan meningkatnya jumlah tempat makan/rumah makan/kuliner, akan meningkatkan persaingan. Untuk menghadapi persaingan yang semakin meningkat tersebut, perusahaan/badan usaha tempat makan/rumah makan/kuliner perlu membuat, menyusun, dan menetapkan strategi-strategi yang tepat dengan tujuan untuk memenangkan persaingan, meraih laba, dan melanjutkan kegiatan usaha/bisnis tersebut. Salah satu strategi untuk memenangkan persaingan adalah dengan menyediakan dan menetapkan produk dan harga yang dapat memuaskan kebutuhan dan keinginan segmen pasar dan target pasar yang dituju. Pemahaman terhadap bauran pemasaran (marketing mix), perilaku konsumen (consumer behavior), serta keputusan pembelian konsumen harus dimiliki oleh perusahaan/badan usaha untuk dapat menghasilkan produk yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan keinginan segmen pasar dan target pasar yang dituju, sehingga perusahaan/badan usaha dapat menarik banyak konsumen potensial dan bahkan dapat meningkatkan jumlah pelanggannya. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian survai dan penelitian explanatory (penjelasan). Analisa yang digunakan adalah analisa kuantitatif dengan model statistic. Data yang dianalisa berasal dari 100 responden (konsumen dan pelanggan yang membeli produk Waroeng Steak and Shake di Jln. Soekarno-Hatta no.14, Lowokwaru, Kota Malang). Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode Non Random Sampling dengan menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling dimana peneliti telah menentukan kriteria atau karakteristik tertentu untuk individu yang dijadikan sampel. Pengujian yang digunakan untuk menguji instrumen penelitian adalah uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas. Untuk analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi linear berganda. Dan salah satu syarat untuk dapat menggunakan persamaan regresi berganda adalah terpenuhinya asumsi klasik. Oleh karena itu, dalam analisis data pada penelitian ini juga menggunakan uji asumsi klasik, yang terdiri dari: uji normalitas, uji multikolinearitas, dan uji heteroskedastisitas. Dan dalam penelitian ini juga menggunakan koefisien determinasi. Pengolahan dan pengujian hipotesis akan menggunakan uji F (uji hipotesis pertama), uji t (uji hipotesis kedua), dan uji variabel bebas dominan (uji hipotesis ketiga). Berdasarkan hasil uji F (simultan) dapat diketahui bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan secara simultan dari bauran pemasaran, yang terdiri dari variabel: produk, harga, tempat/lokasi/saluran distribusi, dan promosi terhadap keputusan pembelian pada Waroeng Steak and Shake di Jln. Soekarno-Hatta no.14, Lowokwaru, Kota Malang. Hasil tersebut dibuktikan dengan nilai Fhitung > Ftabel (56,247>2,800). Berdasarkan hasil uji t (parsial) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan secara parsial dari bauran pemasaran, yang terdiri dari variabel: produk, harga, tempat/lokasi/saluran distribusi, dan promosi terhadap keputusan pembelian pada Waroeng Steak and Shake di Jln. Soekarno-Hatta no.14, Kota Malang. Berdasarkan perbandingan koefisien regresi (Standardized Coefficients Beta) maka dapat diketahui bahwa saluran distribusi berpengaruh dominan terhadap keputusan pembelian (Y) pada Waroeng Steak and Shake di Jln. Soekarno-Hatta no.14, Kota Malang. Kata kunci :  pemasaran, bauran pemasaran (product, price, place, promotion), perilaku konsumen, keputusan pembelian, Waroeng Steak and Shake.

Abstract

This study has three objectives: to reveal how to create effective copycats design; to determine the most favorable situation for copycats; to cognize the winner of panoplied copycats versus market leader. Study 1 with participation of 98 farmers revealed that copycats managed to steal quality image of market leader through imitation of typography and colour. Study 2 with involvement of 216 farmers suggested that copycat to situate farmer peers as referrals, apply moderately-lower pricing and persuade consumers without sales promotions. Abstract

Salah satu cara yang dilakukan organisasi dalam menghadapi persaingan yaitu dengan memberdayakan dan menggali seluruh potensi SDM yang dimilikinya itu secara maksimal. Salah satu upaya pembinaan dan pengembangan sumberdaya manusia guna meningkatkan prestasi kerja karyawan adalah melalui pelatihan. Pelatihan merupakan suatu usaha yang terencana dari organisasi untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, ketrampilan dan kemampuan karyawan. Pelaksanaan pelatihan diadakan untuk dapat meningkatkan kemampuan dan kemajuan tenaga kerja, dimana karyawan akan dapat meningkatkan prestasi kerja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan pengaruh variabel Tujuan dan Sasaran Pelatihan, Para Pelatih, Materi Latihan, Metode Pelatihan, dan Peserta Pelatihan secara simultan terhadap Prestasi Kerja Karyawan di PT. Indoprima Gemilang Surabaya serta untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan pengaruh variabel Tujuan dan Sasaran Pelatihan, Para Pelatih, Materi Latihan, Metode Pelatihan, dan Peserta Pelatihan secara parsial terhadap Prestasi Kerja Karyawan di PT. Indoprima Gemilang Surabaya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian explanatory. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan PT. Indoprima Gemilang Surabaya, yaitu sebanyak 1.549 orang karyawan. Jumlah sampel ditetapkan dengan rumus Slovin yaitu sebanyak 94 responden, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel secara proposional simple random sampling. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji validitas dan reliabilitas, analisis deskriptif,  analisis regresi linier berganda (Uji F, uji t),  dan uji asumsi klasik (uji normalitas, uji heteroskedastisitas dan uji multikolinearitas). Hasil hipotesis I menunjukkan apabila variabel Tujuan dan Sasaran Pelatihan (X1), Para Pelatih (X2), Materi Latihan (X3), Metode    Pelatihan (X4) dan Peserta Pelatihan (X5) secara simultan (bersama-sama) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Prestasi Kerja Karyawan (Y) PT. Indoprima Gemilang Surabaya dan hasil hipotesis II menunjukkan apabila variabel Tujuan dan Sasaran Pelatihan (X1), Para Pelatih (X2), Materi Latihan (X3), Metode    Pelatihan (X4) dan Peserta Pelatihan (X5) secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Prestasi Kerja Karyawan (Y) PT. Abstract

ABSTRACT   Basically, the company not only requires capable, competent and skillful employees but the most important thing is that they are willing to work hard and to achieve optimal performance. Employees’ capability, competence and skills would not make any improvement for the company if they are not willing to work hard to apply their capability, competence and skills and if the company gives the opportunity and appreciation for their capability, competence and skills, it would give them satisfaction and the workers will be motivated to work if they receive higher satisfaction from their job. Job satisfaction is very important since most problems occurring in organization, such as strike, demonstration, high level of absenteeism, are generally caused by job dissatisfaction. Therefore the job satisfaction of the employees in the organization should receive attention so as to preserve the healthy working condition and improve job motivation and productivity. This research was aimed at finding the characteristics that build job motivation and its relationship with the govermental employees’ job satisfaction at the Badung Regency. The population in this research is the official from the second, third and fourth echelons in the government office of the Badung Regency, by taking a sample of 100 respondents. Data were collected by distributing questionnaire. The analytic tool used in this research is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), using the confirmatory technique, which aims at proving the theories in a model. The result of this research shows that individual and organizational characteristics have a positive impact both on the job motivation and job satisfaction while job characteristics have a negative impact on the job motivation and job satisfaction. The results also show that there is no relationship between job motivation and job satisfaction.   Keywords : individual characteristics, job characteristics, organizational characteristics, job motivation, job satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the structural model that integrates the variables of experience quality, amazemet and behavioral intention. The variable of amazement is the development of the concept of positive emotions, and the context of spiritual tourism is a research context that has not been studied much. This research was conducted in the ancient cemetery of the ancestors of the Toraja Ke'te Kesu tribe. 300 questionnaires were collected in this study and processed using the PLS technique with the help of smart PLS. The results of this study indicate that the Quality of experience and Amazement are antecedents of behavioral intentions, and amazement plays a role in partially mediating the relationship between experience quality and behavioral intentions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of transformational leadership on employee performance and how this influence is mediated by team empowerment and organizational climate. Previous studies that examined transformational leadership were more focused on business organizations and were very limited to public organizations, especially government organizations. The research approach used is quantitative with descriptive analysis method. This research was conducted on 252 employees at the Education office in Gorontalo Province through questionnaires and open interviews. The results obtained in this study contain information about that within the organization a collaboration is needed in completing work with tasks and functions, so that superiors and subordinates do not only have a relationship as superiors and subordinates but as team work in completing work. In this case, transformational leadership in improving employee performance depends on a leader who leads them not only based on relationships in the organizational structure which will have an impact on non-optimal work results. The ability of a transformational leader is different from other types of leadership, transformational leadership in assigning tasks and work to not only based on orders, but behaving well with firmness to subordinates and embracing them as friends or friends. Keywords: Transformational Leadership, Team Empowerment, Organizational Climate, Employee Performance.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the strategy of developing social entrepreneurship with the Social Impact Canvas method on Sahawood. This study used a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection method was done by using observation and interviews with four informants who were directly involved in the Sahawood business process. The Social Impact Canvas provides an overview of business development strategies contained in the components of anchor purpose; value prepositions; stakeholders; stakeholders relationship; channel; key activities; key resources; key partners; revenue streams; magnitude; costs; differentiation. The findings in this study indicate that the social value of Sahawood creates a strong brand story and becomes a strength in attracting consumers. As a social entrepreneurship, Sahawood was able to become a place for former addicts to change for the better and control the beneficiaries from using drugs again and committing criminal acts. Social Impact Canvas is not only describing business implementation but also highlighting social values and business uniqueness in social entrepreneurship. This study has implications for the development of Sahawood’s future business strategy.

Abstract

Companies must consider many factors in an effort to improve employee performance which includes salary, organizational culture, leadership, work discipline, job satisfaction, work motivation, and work environment. The objective of this research is to identify the effects of work motivation and workplace environtment on the performance of employees of PT. World Innovative Telecommunication (OPPO) Malang. This quantitative research uses descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression performed in IBM SPSS. The independent variable is work motivation (X1) and workplace environtment (X2), while the dependent variable is employee performance (Y). the results of the hypothesis testing indicate that work motivation and workplace environtment simultaneously affect employee performance, that work motivation partially has a significant and positive influence on employee performance, and that workplace environtment partially has a significant and positive effect on employee performance.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic that had occurred from 2020 to 2022 in Indonesia adversely affected multiple sectors of industry; one of which is tourism and hotel. Savana, a hotel in Malang city that was also affected by the outbreak, responded to the unwanted condition by temporarily laying off some of their employees. This policy, however, is considered as a threat for job security, and it affects employees’ organizational commitment and work motivation, leading to lower performance. The goal of this study is to measure the influence of organizational commitment and work motivation on employee performance. The sample of this quantitative explanatory research is 75 employees of the hotel that was affected by the temporary layoff. The data was acquired from questionnaires, that have been tested for validity and reliability. The results of the analysis suggest that organizational commitment and work motivation simultaneously have a significant impact on performance by 14.6% with the F statistics of 7.317 > the T table of 3.12 and the coefficient of determination of 0.146 at the significance level of 0.001. further, organizational commitment has no significant effect on employee performance with the t statistics of 1.291 < t table of 1.993 at sig. of 0.201, while work motivation significantly influences employee performance at the t statistics of 2,847 > t table of 1,993 at sig. of 0.006.
