Abstract

The purpose of the article writing program and publication strategy for PPKn high school teachers in the city of Surabaya is to support Surabaya teachers who do not understand article writing. This program aims to increase knowledge and improve the quality of writing for PPKn teachers, as well as support the process of applying for promotion. This training uses methods, including lectures, discussions, and simulations. The subjects of the training were 29 PPKn high school teachers throughout the city of Surabaya. The purpose of this training is to motivate teachers to be more motivated in writing scientific articles and understanding how to publish. In addition, teachers will gain skills in writing articles and understanding the publishing process so as to improve their professionalism.

Abstract

Creativity is the potential of every individual that can be studied, processed, explored and developed for the better, not an innate talent and trait born in a person. In the implementation of learning, Creativity has an essential role in creating more active, fun, exciting learning and facilitates learning. Teacher creativity is the ability to find thoughts about ideas and ideas in solving a problem related to educational science. Creative teachers will continue to develop exciting learning to improve quality, improve materials, use methods, use media and manage classrooms. Especially during the current COVID-19 pandemic, a teacher is required to create exciting and fun learning. The Covid-19 pandemic that has occurred throughout the world, including Indonesia, involves implementing distance learning as instructed by the Ministry of Education and Culture to continue learning during this COVID-19 outbreak. Therefore, teachers at all levels of education must make new learning plans related to distance learning. Likewise, the teaching carried out at SMP Negeri 4 Subah, an area in the red zone of the spread of the COVID-19 outbreak, requires learning to be carried out online. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 4 Subah with a qualitative approach or descriptive field research. The results show that teachers at SMP Negeri 4 Subah are ready to carry out online learning by utilizing media or applications that can support online learning to keep it exciting and fun, including using WhatsApp, Google Classroom, Google Form, Zoom Meeting, Email and other applications on when delivering subject matter, giving assignments and carrying out tests.

Abstract

The research problem in this study is that the development of Islamic Education teachers has not yet been optimal in integrating technology, resulting in low learning effectiveness and limited digital competence. The purpose of this study is to analyze teacher development and the influence of technology on the effectiveness of Islamic Education learning, and to formulate an effective development model. The research used an exploratory sequential design: a qualitative case study with 15 teachers (interviews, observations, and documentation), followed by a quantitative correlational stage with 50 students (Likert-scale questionnaires analyzed with SPSS). The results show that technology-based teacher development has a significant effect on the effectiveness of Islamic Education learning. Qualitatively, teachers experienced improvements in lesson planning, the use of varied teaching methods, and the utilization of digital media such as videos, applications, and online learning platforms, making learning more interactive, engaging, and student-centered. Quantitatively, instructional development (X1) contributed 47.4%, technology-based value-added development (X2) contributed 57.4%, and simultaneously, both contributed 59.6% to learning outcomes. The data were tested for normality and found to be valid and reliable. The study concludes that technology-based teacher development significantly and measurably improves the effectiveness of Islamic Education instruction. The significance of this research lies in producing a technology-based teacher development model as a foundation for policy development and modern Islamic education training.

Abstract

Diabetes Melitus (DM) merupakan salah satu jenis penyakit degeneratif yang tidak menular dan berkaitan dengan pola makan. Pola makan adalah berbagai informasi yang memberikan gambaran mengenai macam dan jumlah bahkan makanan yang dimakan setiap hari oleh satu orang dan merupakan ciri khas suatu kelompok masyarakat tertentu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Menganalisis hubungan pola makan dengan stabilitas kadar gula pada pasien Diabetes Mellitus Tipe 2 di Kelurahan Sumbertaman, Kecamatan Wonoasih, Kota Probolinggo. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan Tekhnik Total Sampling dengan menggunakan pendekatan Cross Sectional. Populasi sebanyak 28 responden penderita diabetes mellitus tipe 2. Instrument yang digunakan lembar kuesioner dan observasi. Analisa data menggunakan uji chi square test. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh data stabilitas kadar gula pada pasien Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2 di Kelurahan Sumbertaman, Kacamatan Wonoasih, Kota Probolinggo dari 28 responden sebagian besar pola makan kurang baik yakni sebanyak 13 responden sehingga stabilitas kadar gula juga rendah. Berdasarkan hasil analisis chi-square test terdapat hubungan pola makan dengan stabilitas kadar gula menunjukkan bahwa nilai p value 0,000 < α (0,05). Maka tenaga Kesehatan harus terus memberikan edukasi pada pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2 agar lebih memperhatikan pola makan yang dianjurkan sesuai dengan jumlah, jadwal dan jenis makanan yang dikonsumsi setiap hari. Dan melakukan evaluasi pemeriksaan GDA minimal dilakukan 1 bulan sekali.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a water cycle E-module assisted by the Flipflop for fifth grade elementary school students. The use of technology not only provides flexibility during the learning process but also fosters active participation and enhances student interactivity, thereby creating a more meaningful learning experience. The research method used is research and development (R&D) with ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Data collection instruments consist of observation sheets, interview guidelines, and student response questionnaires. The results of the study showed that the developed water cycle e-module was valid and practical to use. The research results from media experts obtained a percentage of 94.2% and material experts 98.5% which fell into the very valid category. Furthermore, in terms of practicality, the teacher obtained a result of 88.2% in the very practical category and when the small-scale trial obtained a percentage of 73.2% in the practical category and the limited-scale trial obtained a percentage of 80.7% in the practical category.
