Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

The development of a Micro-Credential Quality Management System (QMS) aims to ensure that micro-credentials are of high quality and aligned with industry needs. Micro-credentials provide formal recognition of specific competencies acquired through short-term, focused learning, offering an efficient means to address the rapidly evolving labor market and technological landscape. This research adopts a Research and Development (R&D) methodology, involving a preliminary study, system development, pilot testing, and validation, to create a robust QMS framework. The QMS focuses on establishing clear standards, rigorous assessment processes, continuous improvement, and collaboration with industry stakeholders to validate competencies. The pilot testing of the QMS in vocational high schools demonstrated its effectiveness in enhancing the relevance and recognition of micro-credentials. The system ensures that issued credentials are aligned with industry demands, improving graduates' employability and competitiveness. The findings indicate that a well-developed QMS for micro-credentials can address gaps in standardization and ensure that credentials are valid, reliable, and recognized across different sectors. The implementation of the QMS facilitates tailored skill acquisition, lifelong learning, and global recognition, making it a critical tool for enhancing workforce readiness and competitiveness.

Abstract

This study addresses the gap between education systems and labor market demands by developing a validated unit of competency titled “Research and Develop Occupational Standards.” Using a Research and Development (R&D) methodology alongside the Regional Model Competency Standards (RMCS), the study generated three main outcomes: a validated competency unit, a replicable model integrating job classifications, occupational standards, curriculum, and certification, and five policy recommendations for integrating these standards into National Qualification Frameworks (NQFs). The research emphasizes the need to transition from experience-based recruitment to skills-based hiring, addressing the global challenge where only 34% of employers apply competency-focused practices (World Economic Forum, 2023). The study’s findings also contribute to aligning educational outcomes with labor market needs, thereby enhancing employability and ensuring that qualifications remain relevant amidst the digital transformation and the growing demand for sustainability-related skills. The study’s implications are far-reaching, providing a framework for policymakers, education providers, and industry stakeholders to improve workforce competency and support lifelong learning. Future research should explore digital tools, such as AI and blockchain, to enhance the scalability and real-time responsiveness of labor market skills and qualifications.

Abstract

The process of resolving a case, especially concerning business disputes, generally runs slowly, drags on, and takes a long time, at least three months. This condition will, of course, burden the litigants, especially in cases where the value of the material claim is small. To overcome this problem, the Supreme Court issued PERMA No. 2 of 2015 in conjunction with PERMA Number. 4 of 2019 which regulates the Settlement of Simple Claims (Small Claim Court). What is meant by Simple Claim Settlement. is a procedure for examining a civil lawsuit with a material claim value of a maximum of 500 million rupiahs. With this regulation, it is hoped that the dispute resolution procedure can be simpler, faster, and less expensive. This study examines the court process for simple lawsuits related to Sharia business cases during the Covid-19 pandemic. The aim is to find out how the court process works and how effective the mechanism is in serving the interests of justice seekers. This research is a qualitative descriptive study using a juridical normative approach. The results showed that during the pandemic, the implementation of the small claim court was carried out using the e-court facility, and has proven to be effective and efficient in serving justice seekers.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze whether there is an effect of inflation and exchange rates on Islamic stock returns in the property and real estate sectors listed on ISSI (Indonesian Sharia Shares Index) for the period 2012-2018). The population of this study is all sharia shares in the property and real estate sector registered at ISSI for the period 2012-2018. The type of data used is secondary data obtained through published annual reports which were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of the E-Views Program. The results of this study are: inflation and exchange rates partially have no effect on the return of sharia shares in the property and real estate sectors listed on ISSI (Indonesian Sharia Stock Index) for the period 2012-2018. Then inflation and exchange rates simultaneously show that there is no effect on the return of sharia shares in the property and real estate sectors listed on the ISSI (Indonesian Sharia Stock Index) for the period 2012-2018. finally Exchange rate inflation and stock returns in the perspective of Islamic economics will have a good impact when utilizing a certain item to fulfill every need according to the need or portion and not following their desires. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that inflation and exchange rates cannot be taken into account in determining stock investment decisions in the Islamic perspective for the period 2012-2018. The Islamic economic perspective views that in terms of both investment and macroeconomics, when carried out with Sharia economic principles, it can benefit anyone and society will prosper.
